President Trump on Saturday tapped Mary “Maggie” Cleary as the new Acting US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

On Friday, Erik Siebert, the US Attorney from the Eastern District of Virginia who was under fire for not charging Letitia James, resigned.

It was previously reported that President Trump was gearing up to fire the US Attorney refusing to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James for mortgage fraud.

Siebert resigned Friday evening after President Trump blasted him as a ‘blue-slipped’ prosecutor to reporters in the Oval Office.

Mary Cleary is an attorney from Culpeper, Virginia, who recently said she was framed for January 6 and put on administrative leave as the Assistant US Attorney for the Western District of Virginia.

“Someone (still unknown to me) had contacted the Roanoke Times and alleged that they had a photo of me on the Capitol Grounds on January 6, holding a fractured piece of the Speaker Nancy Pelosi sign. The photo was circulated,” she wrote.

“Everyone knew I was a conservative. It was all over my résumé. I was in leadership in my local Republican Committee. But I had not gone to the Capitol that day. The girl in the photo looked nothing like me. Aside from sharing my race, she had virtually no common features to me,” she said.

“In the last four years, I’ve been somewhat cautious about sharing my experience, but now, while Donald Trump is president, I feel emboldened to finally tell how I, too, was targeted politically,” Cleary previously wrote.

Politico reported:

President Donald Trump has tapped a new top federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of Virginia, a day after U.S. Attorney Erik Siebert resigned from the post amid attacks from the president.

Trump appointed Mary “Maggie” Cleary — a self-described conservative lawyer from Culpeper, Virginia, who has been active in Republican politics — as acting U.S. attorney, according to two people familiar with the decision and an internal email reviewed by POLITICO.

Israel’s Systematic Decimation of Hamas Leadership Since October 7

Since Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, the IDF and Mossad have executed a methodical campaign to eliminate the terrorist organization’s command structure.

From Chairman Yahya Sinwar to military commander Mohammed Deif, Israel has systematically hunted down and killed Hamas’s top political and military leadership, fundamentally crippling the organization that orchestrated the deadliest attack in Israeli history.

The list of Hamas leaders killed by Israel includes Chairman of the Political Bureau Yahya Sinwar, former Political Bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, military commander Mohammed Deif, Yahya’s brother and senior commander Mohammed Sinwar, Deputy Chief of Military Operations Marwan Issa, Deputy Chairman of the Political Bureau Saleh al-Arouri, and Khan Younis Brigade Commander Rafa’a Salameh.

Yahya Sinwar, chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau and Gaza leader, was killed on October 16, 2024 in Rafah. His death came during a chance encounter when IDF troops spotted militants leaving a building. After Sinwar threw grenades at the soldiers, an Israeli tank fired on his position, and a drone later confirmed his death in the rubble.

Ismail Haniyeh, political leader of Hamas, was assassinated on July 31, 2024, in Tehran, Iran. He was killed inside an IRGC guesthouse after attending Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s inauguration. The operation, believed to have involved either a missile strike or a remotely detonated explosive hidden in his bedroom, exposed major gaps in Iran’s ability to protect high-value figures.

Mohammed Deif, Hamas’s top military commander, was killed on July 13, 2024, in al-Mawasi. Israel dropped eight 2,000-pound bombs on a designated “safe zone,” targeting Deif and Khan Younis Brigade commander Rafa’a Salameh. Intelligence reportedly came from a local postman who had spotted Deif. Israeli quadcopters then struck rescue teams arriving at the scene, killing two civil defense workers.

Mohammed Sinwar, Yahya Sinwar’s brother and a senior Hamas commander, was killed in May 2025 during an Israeli strike near the European Hospital in Khan Younis. The attack, which killed 28 people, targeted Hamas tunnel networks believed to run beneath the hospital complex.

Marwan Issa, deputy chief of Hamas’s military operations, was killed on March 10, 2024 in a precision airstrike in Nuseirat. A central figure in Hamas’s command structure, Issa had survived previous attempts before being eliminated.

Saleh al-Arouri, deputy chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, was assassinated in January 2024 in Beirut. His death, in an Israeli airstrike, marked an escalation in targeting Hamas leadership outside Gaza and preceded the wave of high-profile killings that followed.

Rafa’a Salameh, commander of the Khan Younis Brigade, was killed on July 13, 2024 alongside Mohammed Deif in the al-Mawasi strike. Salameh was a veteran operative who played a central role in the 2006 cross-border abduction of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and later assumed command of the Khan Younis Brigade in 2016 after Mohammed Sinwar.

According to Israeli assessments, these targeted eliminations have systematically dismantled Hamas’s command structure, leaving the organization without its founding leadership and key operational commanders. The methodical nature of these strikes—spanning from Gaza to Tehran to Beirut—demonstrates Israel’s determination to hold Hamas accountable for the October 7 massacre while severely degrading the group’s ability to plan and execute future operations.

This campaign represents one of the most comprehensive efforts to decapitate a terrorist organization’s leadership in modern warfare, fundamentally altering Hamas’s operational capabilities and command hierarchy. The elimination of figures like Sinwar, who masterminded the October 7 attacks, and Deif, the architect of Hamas’s military wing, has left the organization struggling to maintain coherent leadership and strategic direction in the face of Israel’s ongoing military pressure.

Hamas won the 2006 Palestinian legislative elections, taking 74 of 132 seats. On October 7, 2023, they carried out a large scale attack that killed about 1,200 people in Israel and resulted in roughly 251 hostages taken, and Gazans danced in the streets to celebrate.

Between 2011 and 2021, OECD data show that member states donated approximately $26.7 billion to Gaza. Over 16 years, Hamas spent tens of millions of dollars designing, digging, and cementing an extensive subterranean tunnel system rivaling London’s Underground or Paris’s Metro.

Hamas has an investment portfolio worth about $500 million and an annual military budget estimated at as much as $350 million. Since October 7, estimates show Hamas has funneled nearly $1 billion into its war machine, much of it tied to aid manipulation and illicit economic activity. According to UNOPS, nearly 90 percent of humanitarian aid shipments entering Gaza have been looted or diverted before reaching civilians.

As of September 2025, about 65,000 Gazans have died, and many face hunger despite the fact that Hamas fighters appear to be eating well. Hamas has not surrendered and is still holding 47 men and women captive in Gaza.

Far-Left CNN Analyst Van Jones Reveals the ‘Shocking’ Message Charlie Kirk Sent to Him the Day Before He was Assassinated
September 20, 2025

A long-time political foe of Charlie Kirk’s was left floored by a message he received from the conservative icon the day before the assassination.

Far-left CNN analyst Van Jones went on Instagram Saturday and shared a message from Kirk, where the TPUSA founder kindly invited him onto this show for a conversation regarding crime and race.

The post reads as follows:

Hey Van, I mean it, I’d love to have you on my show to have a respectful conversation about crime and race.

I would be a gentleman as I know you would be as well. We can disagree about the issues agreeably.

What makes this message even more surprising is that Jones and Kirk were not only far from friends, but they had been feuding at the time over the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.

“Charlie Kirk and I were not friends. At all,” Jones told the New York Post. He added that the message “shocked” him.

Jones went on to tell the Post he was undecided whether he should share the message, but ultimately decided it was “important” to put out, given the current political situation.

Jones also added this on his Instagram page:

When our public dispute started going sideways, what was Kirk’s response?

He pushed for more conversation, not more silencing or censorship.

He pushed for more civility, not more stridency or venom.

For all our differences, neither Charlie nor I ever wanted to see the other person harmed or silenced.

If Jones had truly known Kirk, he should not have been shocked to begin with. Kirk treated others with politeness and grace even when they did not agree.

Independent journalist Tayler Hansen has retraced the exact route Charlie Kirk’s accused assassin, Tyler Robinson, allegedly took to get to the roof and fire the shot that has shaken the world.

Kirk, 31, was assassinated last week while speaking at Utah Valley University. He was struck by a single fatal bullet to his neck, said to have been fired from a rooftop 130 yards away.

In the days that followed, numerous theories and suspicions spread across social media regarding Robinson’s alleged positioning and whether he could or couldn’t have easily obtained roof access.

Hansen walked his known route to find out for himself.

“From how he entered the campus, where he was caught on security cameras, to the spot where he took the fatal shot that killed Charlie Kirk, the exit he used to flee afterward, and where he stashed his rifle,” Hansen wrote in a post with the video.

WATCH:

In the footage, Hansen only passes three noticeable security cameras.

He opens the door to the building without a key fob or being stopped and questioned. He walks right up to the roof area where Robinson allegedly took the shot from without any difficulties.

Speaking to The Gateway Pundit, Hansen said, “After extensive research and conversations with Law Enforcement involved in the manhunt for Tyler Robinson, the ALTR Media team was able to successfully recreate and map his route around the UVU Campus. Most noteworthy, there were only three cameras the entire route, and the public received footage or still pictures from all of them.”

“It was surprisingly easy to get onto the roof in a timely manner, LE told me that Tyler was on campus roughly 30 minutes prior to the shooting, and actually ran into a group of students and hesitated briefly right outside the doors he entered before climbing the stairs leading to the perch he eventually used to murder Mr. Kirk,” Hansen continued.

Hansen added, “I did this for the sake of transparency but more importantly to dispel the insane and baseless theories we are seeing surrounding the tragedy, hopefully this video can be used to bring people back to Earth.”

Hansen also recently released drone footage from the area, which shows the location of Kirk’s tent, the shooter’s position, and the route he took to flee after the attack.

Robinson has been charged with capital murder and will be eligible for the death penalty if convicted.
