Kid Rock appeared on Watters’ World on Monday night and reacted to the media coverage of the assassination of Charlie Kirk and called the mainstream media ‘public enemy number one.’

It is impossible to disagree. The media’s coverage of this, with few exceptions, has been terrible. If they’re not blaming Kirk for his own murder, they’re complaining about people losing their jobs for gleefully cheering his assassination. The same media that was fine with Cancel Culture for years is suddenly defending free speech.

After offering some kind words about Kirk and his family, Kid Rock talks about the narrative that the media has been pounding out daily for years, that Trump is a Nazi, that his supporters are Nazis.

Lots of people wonder what it is going to take for the media to change. There are two possible scenarios. The first is that people tune them out completely and they realize that if they don’t change, they might lose their jobs. The second is that Democrats continue losing elections. if Democrats lose the 2026 midterms and the 2028 election, the media might start to get the message.

US eyes on the military drill – sitting on ‘the best seats’.

While the peace process in Ukraine is frozen, the negotiations for the normalizations of diplomatic and economic between the US and Russia also have lost momentum – but the signs already show improved ties between the Donald J. Trump administration and Russia and Belarus.

Evidence of that is the presence of military observers in the Zapad-2025 joint military exercises between Russia and Belarus.

The drill commenced on September 12, scheduled to run until September 17.

The strategic drills will be held across training grounds in both countries, the Baltic Sea, and the Barents Sea, involving up to 13,000 troops, along with aircraft, naval vessels, and advanced weaponry.

The Telegraph reported:

“Soldiers from the United States have watched Russian war games, in what Belarus described as a surprise appearance.

[…] An American presence at the event would signal a further easing of tensions between Washington and Minsk.

The Belarusian defense ministry published a video on Monday that showed two American servicemen as part of an international group of military observers at a training ground. They were greeted by Viktor Khrenin, Belarus’s defense minister, and the two Americans appeared to respond in Russian while shaking hands with the minister.

Mr. Khrenin said: ‘We will show whatever is of interest for you. Whatever you want. You can go there and see, talk to people’.”

One of the military personnel observing the exercises was reportedly Lt Col Bryan Shoupe.

The American servicemen declined to speak to reporters, and the US has yet to comment.

President Trump late Monday evening announced he filed a $15 billion libel lawsuit against the New York Times and several reporters, including Michael Schmidt.

The lawsuit was filed in a Tampa, Florida, federal court.

President Trump accused the newspaper of being a virtual “mouthpiece” for the Radical Left Democrat Party and said they gave Kamala Harris the single largest illegal campaign contribution ever.

“Today, I have the Great Honor of bringing a $15 Billion Dollar Defamation and Libel Lawsuit against The New York Times, one of the worst and most degenerate newspapers in the History of our Country, becoming a virtual “mouthpiece” for the Radical Left Democrat Party. I view it as the single largest illegal Campaign contribution, EVER. Their Endorsement of Kamala Harris was actually put dead center on the front page of The New York Times, something heretofore UNHEARD OF! The “Times” has engaged in a decades long method of lying about your Favorite President (ME!), my family, business, the America First Movement, MAGA, and our Nation as a whole. I am PROUD to hold this once respected “rag” responsible, as we are doing with the Fake News Networks such as our successful litigation against George Slopadopoulos/ABC/Disney, and 60 Minutes/CBS/Paramount, who knew that they were falsely “smearing” me through a highly sophisticated system of document and visual alteration, which was, in effect, a malicious form of defamation, and thus, settled for record amounts. Earlier this summer Paramount and CBS were forced to pay millions of dollars to President Trump and agreed to change its editorial policy in a settlement.

President Trump previously filed a $20 billion lawsuit against the network’s parent company, Paramount, for deceptively editing a ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

Trump will be paid $16 million up front, according to Fox News.

Last October President Trump sued CBS News for $10 billion (now increased to $20 billion) for deceptively editing its ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

President Trump this summer also sued Rupert Murdoch and The Wall Street Journal for lying about a birthday card he sent to Jeffrey Epstein.

Bill Maher had Charlie Kirk on his podcast just a few months ago and Kirk clearly made an impression on him.

During a newer episode with Billy Corrigan of Smashing Pumpkins, Maher noted that people on the right are more willing to engage with and talk to others. He took a few swipes at the left for not being more open in the same way.

Maher is right and this is something we have seen growing on college campuses for years. Leftists on college campuses do not want to have a debate. They want to silence their political opponents. Conservative speakers have been ‘shouted down’ on college campuses repeatedly over the last decade.

This is one of the reasons that the left despised Kirk. Because he was willing to go into this territory and talk to people. Bill Maher seems to get this.

Liberal host Bill Maher mourned the killing of conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, contrasting conservatives who embrace dialogue with far-left activists who, he argued, seek to silence it.

“Look, I might drink a little more than usual today,” Maher told guest Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins. “Because I don’t know when this is airing, but this is a s— day. A guy who sat there – Charlie Kirk – got shot today, and I can’t stop thinking about it.”…

He went on to highlight the divide between conservatives and the far left on the issue of political dialogue:

“They’re the people who don’t want to talk,” Maher said. “Charlie Kirk was always willing to engage – I talked to him here. Say what you want about right-wingers, but they’ll talk to you. The left has more of a, ‘I won’t talk to you. You’re deplorable. I can’t break bread with you.’ Right-wingers don’t have that attitude.”

Maher emphasized that disagreement does not negate humanity. “Now again, I didn’t vote for them. Charlie Kirk and I certainly don’t agree on much politically. But he sat here. He’s a human being. He’s not a monster.”

Maher doesn’t always get it right, but he is correct on this one.
