Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat running for governor of Virginia refuses to give a definitive answer to the question of boys in girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms.

She was asked about this by a reporter last week and gave a Kamala-style word salad answer. Now she has done it again when asked by another reporter.

Republican candidate and current Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears has been hammering her on this issue and it’s easy to see why. Spanberger can’t answer the question because if she tells the truth, she knows she will turn off a majority of voters.

Abigail Spanberger was asked a yes or no question: Does she support biological boys playing in girls’ sports and using girls’ bathrooms? Instead, the Democratic Virginia gubernatorial hopeful gave a rambling answer before abruptly discussing rising costs.

“Do you support trans women playing in girls’ sports and being in girls’ restrooms?” ABC 13’s Alexia Stanbridge asked Spanberger on Tuesday. The reporter pointed to an ad by Spanberger’s opponent, Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, that accuses the Democrat of supporting biological boys in girls’ locker rooms.

“In Virginia, we previously, until very recently, had a process in place where on an individual, one-by-one basis, schools, parents, principals, coaches, were making decisions based on fairness, competitiveness, and safety,” Spanberger said. She spoke about the old policy at length before finally saying she thought that process was “working.”

Then she suddenly pivoted and started attacking Earle-Sears.

“What you don’t see my opponent talking about is her plan to actually lower costs, to address the issues that I am hearing about everywhere I go from families, from parents,” Spanberger said. “How do we ensure that we are lowering costs in health care, housing, and energy,” she added before pivoting to issues regarding Virginia’s academic achievement.

Voters made themselves pretty clear on this issue in the 2024 election, but Democrats do not care. If Spanberger wins, she will ignore public sentiment and forge ahead with the left’s agenda on this.

The Pentagon is about to ask for Trump’s approval to carry out the execution of Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter.

The shooting took place in November of 2009, during the first year of Obama’s presidency. Hasan was a U.S. Army psychiatrist described by others as anti-American. In the shooting, he killed 13 people and injured 30 others.

Since being convicted, he has been held at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.

Nidal Hasan, the one-time Army psychiatrist who gunned down 13 people at Fort Hood (now Fort Cavazos) in 2009, is out of appeals.

The U.S. Supreme Court this week denied Hasan’s final appeal, setting the stage for President Donald Trump to sign a death warrant and for an execution date to be set. The high court denied a defense writ of certiorari, which is essentially a request that the justices review the case.

It is almost impossible to imagine Trump not signing off on this. At the time of the shooting, it was the worst mass murder in the country since 9/11.

On Wednesday night, a man opened fire outside the main gate of the Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that an unnamed suspect opened fire outside of the main gate of the Nellis Base and then proceeded to point his gun at security officers at teh gate.

The move by the suspect prompted the base security on duty to fire back at the suspect, which resulted in the suspect being shot in the leg.

Authorities did not release the name of the suspect but did reveal he was taken to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Per The Daily Mail:

A gunman opened fire outside of an Air Force base in Nevada linked to Area 51, according to police.

The unknown suspect ‘fired rounds’ at the main gate of the site and was ‘behaving erratically’ around 12.30 am Wednesday in Las Vegas, a Nellis AFB spokesperson told the Daily Mail.

Security officers then ‘challenged the suspect who pointed his firearm at them,’ the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.

The alleged gunman was shot in the leg and taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries after a tourniquet was applied.

In a Facebook post, Nellis Air Force Base announced that it has since opened its main gate again this morning.

Area 51, one of the United States’ government’s most secretive military sites, operates under the jurisdiction of Nellis Air Force Base.

Mysteries have long surrounded the site due to the military testing advanced aircrafts at the location, which in turn has sparked UFO rumors.

Last year, while being interviewed by Joe Rogan, President Trump discussed the topic of Area 51 and UFOs.

Dr. Ben Carson is the newest member of the Trump administration.

On Wednesday, former Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, was sworn in as the national adviser for nutrition, health, and housing at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins shared that Carson’s role will be to oversee Trump’s new Big Beautiful Bill law, which aims to ensure Americans’ quality of life, from nutrition to stable housing.

After being sworn in, Carson shared, “Today, too many Americans are suffering from the effects of poor nutrition. Through common-sense policymaking, we have an opportunity to give our most vulnerable families the tools they need to flourish.”

During the memorial service, Carson highlighted that Kirk was shot at 12:24 p.m. and then continued to share the Bible verse John 12:24, which reads, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”

As reported earlier, former FBI Director James Comey is expected to be indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia in the next few days.

Comey will reportedly be charged for lying to Congress in a 2020 testimony about whether he authorized leaks to the media.

Officials in the Eastern District of Virginia are still fighting to stop Comey from being charged after Trump fired US Attorney Erik Siebert.

President Trump last week fired Erik Siebert as the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia because he refused to bring charges against Letitia James, Comey, Schiff and others.

On Saturday evening, President Trump announced that he had appointed Lindsey Halligan – his personal attorney who defended him against the Mar-a-Lago raid – as US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Now, with just days to go before the statute of limitations runs out to charge Comey for lying during a September 30, 2020 testimony, Lindsey Halligan is reportedly gearing up to indict Comey.

Prosecutors reportedly gave newly sworn-in Halligan a memo defending James Comey and explaining why charges should not brought against the fired FBI Director.
