British newscaster Piers Morgan, 60, was hospitalized after a bad fall this weekend.

Morgan had to undergo emergency hip replacement surgery after he fractured his femur.

The 60-year-old said he tripped on a step at London restaurant.

Piers Morgan jokingly blamed Trump for his bad spill:

1. Tripped on small step.

2. In a London hotel restaurant. ()

3. Fractured femur.

4. So badly I needed new hip.

5. Recovering in hospital.

6. Crutches for 6wks

7. No long-haul for 12 wks.

8. New Year off to a cracking start!

9. I blame Donald Trump.

Piers Morgan posted a photo of himself from a hospital bed.

Morgan also posted an X-ray of his broken femur.

Amid findings of massive fraud and theft perpetrated by aliens in the United States, the US State Department has frozen immigration visa processing for immigrants from 75 countries, including Somalia.

The 75 nationalities have been identified as being at “high risk of public benefits usage.”

More from Fox:

Minnesota has become ground zero for some of the largest pandemic-era fraud cases in U.S. history, where Somali aliens have stolen billions of dollars intended to feed children and provide healthcare services.

This comes after the US also ended foreign aid to Somalia because of its thieving culture.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, the United States ended taxpayer-funded food aid to Somalia after local officials torched and looted the stockpiles of food stored in a US-funded World Food Programme (WFP) warehouse.

The Somali animals “illegally seized 76 metric tons of donor-funded food aid for vulnerable Somalis,” the State Department office of the Under Secretary for Foreign Assistance said.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained that US taxpayer-funded foreign aid “is not charity” and “should be spent in places and on things that further our foreign policy,” while announcing the Somali aid cut.

“The State Department will pause immigrant visa processing from 75 countries whose migrants take welfare from the American people at unacceptable rates. The freeze will remain active until the U.S. can ensure that new immigrants will not extract wealth from the American people,” The department announced on X last week.

“The pause impacts dozens of countries – including Somalia, Haiti, Iran, and Eritrea – whose immigrants often become public charges on the United States upon arrival. We are working to ensure the generosity of the American people will no longer be abused,” the statement continues. “The Trump Administration will always put America First.”

The State Department also said in a press release,

President Trump has made clear that immigrants must be financially self-sufficient and not be a financial burden to Americans.  The Department of State is undergoing a full review of all policies, regulations, and guidance to ensure that immigrants from these high-risk countries do not utilize welfare in the United States or become a public charge.

Effective January 21, 2026, the Department of State is pausing all visa issuances to immigrant visa applicants who are nationals of the following countries:

Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Burma, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Colombia, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, The Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyz Republic, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Republic of the Congo, Russia, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, and Yemen

News anchors discussing current events, with a backdrop of the Capitol building, highlighting political dialogue and analysis.

Deputy AG Todd Blanche was on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream. He talked about ICE agents and how they are being attacked by the radical left.

Blanche explained that federal law enforcement has the right to do their job under the law and that no one should interfere with them. He called out Governor Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for impeding ICE by encouraging unlawful behavior.

“What you just heard was a complete lie. That is absolutely not what is happening on the ground in Minnesota,” Blanche referring to a clip of Congresswoman Jayapal’s accusations against ICE.

Blanche explained that there are numerous law enforcement actions throughout the US tied to immigration, but you don’t see outrage, and cited Minnesota as an exception to that.

“These blatant accusations that they are violating the First Amendment or somehow committing crimes are not only completely false, but they are doing real damage to our law enforcement officers around the country,” Blanche said.

“There are thousands of immigration actions all over this country every single day, and nowhere do you hear this outrage, this made-up outrage from local politicians and activists, except for in Minnesota, and that should be telling to the American people,” Blanche continued.

“How does this impact operations there, and are you going to appeal that decision?” Bream asked regarding a judge restricting how ICE responds with non-lethal weapons.

“We are still looking at whether to appeal what that judge did at this point, but I’ll tell you it’s absurd for the media and some of these politicians to call what these folks are doing as peaceful protests. They are throwing rocks at ICE officers. They are standing in the roadway where they try to drive by. They are putting their vehicles in the roadway while they try to drive by,” Blanche explained.

“What should be happening is local leaders should be sending law enforcement out to stop the protestors from assaulting ICE officers for doing nothing except for their job,” Blanche continued.

“You have men and women who have families going out and doing exactly what they are supposed to do and being screamed at, pushed, assaulted, having rocks thrown at them. We will not tolerate that, and that’s been our position from the beginning and it will remain our position for the rest of this administration,” Blanche said.

Deputy AG Blanche called out Governor Walz and Mayor Frey for promoting the chaos that is in the streets of Minneapolis. He explained that no one, including politicians, has the right to interfere with federal agents doing their job.

“You saw the Governor and the Mayor actively encouraging, encouraging criminals to go out on the street and impede ICE. That is not allowed under our law. When a federal officer is out doing their job, they have to be allowed to do their jobs,” Blanche continued.

“No matter who you are, whether you are a Governor, a Mayor, or somebody out there on the streets assaulting ICE, you cannot under federal law, you cannot impede a federal officer doing their job,” Blanche said.

WATCH: Rachel Morin’s Senator Chris Van Hollen Calls for ICE to be Defunded – Says Illegals Pose “No Public Threat Whatsoever” and “ICE Agents Are the Ones Breaking the Law, Not the Peaceful Protesters”
January 18, 2026

Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) on Sunday called for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to be defunded and claimed that the violent rioters impeding ICE operations and assaulting law enforcement are “peaceful protesters” acting lawfully.

Van Hollen represents Maryland, where Rachel Morin, a Maryland mother, was horrifically raped and murdered in 2023 by a Salvadoran illegal alien. It’s people like her murderer that he wants to keep in the country. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Rachel’s mother, Patty Morin, lashed out at Van Hollen while speaking at a White House press briefing last April, telling reporters, “To have a senator from Maryland, who didn’t even acknowledge or barely acknowledged my daughter and the brutal death that she endured, leaving her five children without a mother and now a grand baby without a grandmother, so that he can use my taxpayer money to fly to El Salvador to bring back someone that’s not even an American citizen.”

The Maryland Senator told ABC’s This Week guest host Jonathan Karl that he will not vote for “one dime to support this lawless, brutal Trump ICE operation,” while claiming that the rioters are being prevented from “engaging in protected peaceful protest.” He continued, “My view is there has to be dramatic change. I don’t foresee this administration doing that at this moment. So, I’m saying I won’t provide any funding.”

This is the same Democratic Party playbook from 2020: Defund the police and refer to violent rioters and insurrectionists as “peaceful protesters” as they destroy American cities.

Van Hollen further agreed that the Democrats’ messaging to abolish ICE could be problematic. Still, he claimed that “what’s happening right now is the ICE agents are the ones breaking the law, not the peaceful protesters.”

“I believe we should not be funding an ICE operation that is completely lawless. It needs dramatic reform,” he added, while claiming that the illegal aliens being apprehended “posed no public threat whatsoever.”

Transcript below:

Karl: You have said that you won’t vote for a single dollar to fund Trump’s ICE operations until there are reforms. So, what are you demanding? And is that leverage that can actually work?

Van Hollen: Well, what — it — what I’m saying is exactly as you quoted, that I am not going to cast a vote, not one dime, to support this lawless, brutal Trump ICE operation. So, what I’m saying is unless there are significant reforms to rein in this lawless ICE operation and there was a federal judge that just this week said that ICE agents were violating people’s constitutional rights, right? They were preventing them from engaging in protected peaceful protest.

So, my view is there has to be dramatic change. I don’t foresee this administration doing that at this moment. So, I’m saying I won’t provide any funding.

Karl: I don’t hear you saying what I’m hearing from a lot of others in the party, and the protesters certainly, to abolish ICE, but we are hearing those calls. And I want to read you what your colleague Ruben Gallego said about this. He said, “Clearly, ICE is an absolute problem. They’re out of control, moving way too fast. The last thing we need to do again is to make the same mistake when it comes to defund the police rhetoric.”

Are you worried that these calls to abolish ICE could be problematic for — for the party? I mean, people might not like what they’re seeing ICE doing, but they think our immigration law should be enforced.

Van Hollen: Well — well, yes, but what’s happening right now is the ICE agents are the ones breaking the law, not the peaceful protesters. So, I believe we should not be funding an ICE operation that is completely lawless. It needs dramatic reform. You know, Donald Trump said he was going to go after the, quote, “worst of the worst”.

If you look at their own data, 80 percent of the people they’re apprehending around the country posed no public threat whatsoever. Instead of addressing that problem, they pulled down the data so we can no longer see it. And what happens if — he seemed to back off the Insurrection Act, although even as he did it, he said, “I’ll do it if I need to.” And we know that troops have been put on standby, active duty troops have been put on standby.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Democratic Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego told CNN’s Jake Tapper, “I think ICE needs to be totally torn down,” and likened the agency to a “third-world police force” and President Trump’s personal “goon squad.”

Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego on Sunday said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement is Trump’s personal “good squad” and should be “totally torn down.”

“I think ICE needs to be totally torn down. It has to be, you know, created in the image of what people want,” Gallego told host Jake Tapper on CNN’s State of the Union.

It should be remembered that more than 77 million Americans voted for Donald Trump to surge ICE into cities and execute mass deportations. Most people want this.

Gallego then accused ICE of not going after criminals, using warrants to arrest illegal aliens, or being focused on national security.

Instead, it’s a “goon squad that has come from Stephen Miller and Donald Trump,” he said.

He further likened the agency to a “third-world police force.”

What we’re seeing right now is not what we want from ICE. And we can create and have a force that’s actually focused on immigration and on security and not this type of intimidation that’s happening right now,” Gallego said.

WATCH:

Gallego: I think ICE needs to be totally torn down. It has to be, you know, created in the image of what people want, right? And what does that look like? From my experience running in Arizona, in a very hard, hard state when it comes to immigration and immigration issues, people want immigration enforcement that goes after criminals, and focuses on criminals, and immigration enforcement is actually focused on security, and not the goon squad that has come from Stephen Miller and Donald Trump. One that issues warrants, one that doesn’t have people masked and acting like, you know, we’re a third-world police force. What we’re seeing right now is not what we want from ICE. And we can create and have a force that’s actually focused on immigration and on security and not this type of intimidation that’s happening right now.

This comes as leftwing rioters take over Minneapolis, repeatedly clashing with and assaulting law enforcement following the shooting death of Renee Good, a deranged leftist who attempted to run down an ICE agent in her vehicle.

President Trump has placed 1,500 active-duty troops on standby to potentially quell the riots in Minnesota.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey responded to the move on Sunday, declaring, “We’re not going to be intimidated” and threatening more violence until ICE leaves the city.
