A growing and deeply unsettling wave of violence targeting federal immigration officers is unfolding across the United States, and the numbers now paint a grim picture.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers, constantly maligned by globalist politicians and their press outlets, are facing a historic surge in assaults—many of them carried out using vehicles as weapons.

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), attacks against ICE officers have skyrocketed at an unprecedented rate in a mere year. Assaults are up 1,300 percent, vehicular attacks have surged by more than 3,200 percent, and death threats against officers have exploded by a staggering 8,000 percent.

Since January alone, more than 100 vehicle-based assaults against federal immigration officers have been reported nationwide—more than double the number recorded during the same period last year.

The most recent incident unfolded in Minneapolis, where an ICE officer narrowly escaped being run down during an enforcement operation. The confrontation escalated into a fatal shooting after a suspect allegedly used a vehicle as a weapon—an action federal authorities say left the officer with no alternative but self-defense.

Six months ago, the same officer nearly had his life ended when he was dragged by a car, sustaining injuries that required 33 stitches.

Less than 24 hours later, a similar attack occurred in Portland, Oregon. Two Venezuelan nationals attempted to run over a Border Patrol agent, prompting the agent to open fire to protect himself and others nearby.

DHS officials say both suspects fled the scene before later seeking medical treatment. One was wounded in the chest, the other in the arm. Both had entered the United States illegally and were released into the country under Biden-era border policies.

Federal records indicate that one of the suspects had ties to the violent Tren de Aragua gang and was allegedly involved in a prostitution ring and a prior shooting.

The other had already been arrested for DUI, unauthorized vehicle use, and was under a final order of removal that had never been enforced.

DHS leadership has been blunt about what they see as the root cause of the violence. Officials says that years of demonization of immigration enforcement—by globalist, open-borders politicians, left-liberal activist groups, and a hostile, mainstream press—have created an atmosphere where attacks on officers are increasingly normalized

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin warned that criminals are now “weaponizing vehicles” against law enforcement officers and emphasized that such attacks will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of federal law. Furthemore, she stressed that, despite the extreme violence they face each day, ICE and CBP personnel will not be deterred from removing dangerous individuals from American communities.

The trend extends far beyond two high-profile incidents. By late last year, CBP had already logged 71 vehicular assaults, up 58 percent from the year before. ICE recorded 28 vehicle attacks during the same period—up from just two the previous year.

Since then, DHS says the rate of vehicular assaults against ICE officers has nearly tripled again. What started off as sporadic resistance has morphed into a sustained and organized threat.
A review of recent cases shows a disturbing pattern.

In Maryland, an illegal alien from El Salvador rammed an ICE vehicle and endangered officers before fleeing the scene. In Illinois and Chicago alone, multiple coordinated ramming attacks occurred in a single day, some involving gang-affiliated suspects.

Florida, California, and other major enforcement hubs have also seen repeated incidents. In one case, an ICE officer was dragged by a vehicle during a traffic stop; in another, a suspect accelerated directly toward agents during an enforcement operation in Los Angeles.

Despite the danger, enforcement actions have continued—often under intense political pressure and legal scrutiny. In several cases, suspects charged with assaulting federal officers have seen charges dismissed or reduced, sending what DHS officials say is a dangerous signal.

Anti-American sanctuary policies and selective—or non-existent—enforcement of immigration laws have emboldened criminal aliens while tying the hands of officers tasked with enforcing federal law.

ICE and CBP officers on the front lines are protecting national sovereignty, public safety, and the rule of law—often at great personal risk. Many of the individuals involved in attacks had no legal right to be in the country and should never have been released in the first place.

When law enforcement officers are hunted with vehicles, threatened with death, and vilified by political elites, the issue is no longer immigration policy—it is national survival.

DHS has vowed to continue enforcing the law and defending its officers, regardless of political pressure. Whether the Trump administration is willing to confront the reality behind the numbers remains an open question.

It’s a technological ‘cat and mouse’ dispute.

As massive protests took to the streets of Iran for days on end, the Ayatollahs’ regime shut down the country’s internet completely.

That left the insurgents relying almost solely on the Starlink services made free by Elon Musk during the confrontations.

So the Iranian government started a two-pronged approach: begin cracking down and seizing all the Starlink terminals it could find, and at the same time, deploy military-grade level jammers to (so far, successfully) disrupt Starlink satellite service.

Both SpaceX engineers and Iranian protesters on the ground are now seeking ways to circumvent this censorship.

“Iranian authorities cut the public’s access to the internet and telephone communications on January 8. The networks were later partially reinstated, but with severe restrictions. The Iranian regime has been facing a series of protests since late December. In an attempt to crush the movement, the Iranian government also tried to break the last international communication link available to Iranians: Starlink.

Starlink, which provides internet access through a constellation of satellites, was thought to be out of the Iranian authorities’ reach for censorship. However, in recent days, Starlink has been subject to a jamming campaign that has seriously impaired its use.”

Experts say that the worsening of the Starlink connection observed in Iran in recent days has resulted in a data ‘packet loss of 30 to 80 percent’, likely coming from a sophisticated form of jamming, an ‘active interference’.

“Active interference involves saturating a satellite’s transmission channel. If you send “noise” or a fake signal to a satellite for long enough, then it is possible to disconnect its associated terminals.

‘In theory, this could render the satellite unusable [for the terminal]. So you can just jam, one after another, all of the visible [Starlink] satellites’, says Badsi.”

The Cobra-V8, an Iranian electronic warfare system that is similar to the Russian-made 1RL257E Krasukha-4, might be in use to jam the transmission frequencies from Starlink terminals.

President Trump will participate in a ceremony this afternoon, where a four-mile stretch of Southern Boulevard between the airport in West Palm Beach, Florida, and his Mar-a-Lago resort will be formally renamed “President Donald J. Trump Boulevard.”

The “Southern Boulevard Dedication Ceremony” will be held at Mar-a-Lago.

Six months after Palm Beach County commissioners voted 7-0 to rename a stretch of Southern Boulevard after President Donald Trump, a dedication ceremony for the formal name change will take place today.

President Trump is expected to attend the ceremony today at Mar-a-Lago at 3:15 p.m. when the segment of Southern Boulevard between Kirk Road and South Ocean Boulevard — covering the highly visible route from Palm Beach International Airport to Mar-a-Lago.

The name change, backed by legislation signed last year by Governor Ron DeSantis, sparked heated public comment but ultimately passed with a 7–0 vote.

In the days after the vote last July, Palm Beach County drivers scrolling through Google Maps may have done a double-take when a familiar roadway suddenly carried a new name, “President Donald J. Trump Boulevard.”

President Trump thanked the Palm Beach County Commissioners, Governor Ron DeSantis, and Florida Legislators for the “wonderful honor,” noting that he is a “proud resident” of Florida in a July Truth Social post following the vote to approve the name change.

“I LOVE FLORIDA!” he added:

It has been brought to my attention that the Great State of Florida, which I won BIG three times, and where I am a proud Resident, has renamed an important four-mile stretch of Southern Boulevard, in Palm Beach County, to “PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP BOULEVARD.” Thank you to Palm Beach County, Governor Ron DeSantis, and all of Florida’s great State Lawmakers, on granting me this wonderful honor! I LOVE FLORIDA!

Previously, the Miami-Dade County Commission approved the city of Hialeah’s request for county recognition of President Donald J. Trump Avenue, following his landslide 2024 election victory, including in Miami-Dade County, where a Republican had not won since 1988.

President Trump on Friday confirmed to reporters that he no longer plans to strike Iran after the regime canceled the planned execution of protesters. 

Trump has repeatedly threatened to utilize the US military to free the people of Iran.

However, on Thursday, Trump told reporters he had been notified that executions of protesters had been canceled and suggested that military action may be off the table. “We’ve been told that the killing in Iran is stopping,” Trump told reporters, later revealing that “very important sources on the other side” informed the US of this.

When asked if military action is off the table, Trump responded, “Well, we’re going to watch and see what the process is.”

Then, on Friday, Trump confirmed that nobody had convinced him, but himself, that military action was unnecessary, and that the canceled hangings “had a big impact” on the decision.

A reporter asked the President if Israeli officials convinced him not to strike Iran, and the President replied, “Nobody convinced me; I convinced myself.”

“You had, yesterday, scheduled over 800 hangings. They didn’t hang anyone. They canceled the hangings. That had a big impact,” he added.

In response to another question, the President reiterated, “As you know, Iran canceled the hanging of over 800 people,” adding, “I greatly respect the fact that they canceled them.”

This comes after Trump on Sunday told reporters that the military is actively “looking at” potential action against Iran after repeatedly signaling that he plans to intervene with the ongoing political uprising and the Iranian regime’s murder of its citizens.

“The military is looking at it, and we’re looking at some very strong options,” Trump said in response to a question about a US response to the situation in Iran. “We’ll make a determination.”
