President Trump on Monday announced that he spoke to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and that he is finally going to comply with federal authorities to apprehend criminal illegal aliens in the state of Minnesota. 

Hours after announcing that Tom Homan will travel to Minnesota tonight, Trump said Walz called him.

“It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength,” Trump said. “I told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Homan call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession.”

Trump continued, “He was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I!”

This is a reversal from Walz’s previous attacks on federal agents deployed to Minneapolis, when he called for continued chaos and declared that he’s “creating a log of evidence for the future prosecution of ICE agents and officials responsible for this.”

Anti-ICE rioters have taken over Minneapolis following the fatal CBP-involved shooting of 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, who federal officials say pulled a gun on agents during a struggle.

Anti-ICE rioters immediately began clashing with ICE and setting fires as law enforcement deployed crowd control measures following Pretti’s death. Thousands of anti-ICE rioters established an “autonomous zone” after overwhelming Minneapolis police and driving them out of the area.

Trump further called for Congress to “immediately pass Legislation to END Sanctuary Cities, which is the root cause of all of these problems.”

As Democrat lawmakers continue to fan the flames of unrest and encourage increased escalation of violence in Minnesota and across the country, former Minnesota Vikings star Jack Brewer suggests that the Democrats oppose ICE’s actions because they are “deporting” their supporters.

Brewer told Fox News Digital, “We’re deporting their voters. That’s part of what’s happening, and it’s blowing up their whole plan.”

“You can’t allow people to come into your country who don’t carry the same morals and values that you do. That’s what’s happening. Minneapolis is protecting these thugs. It’s unbelievable. These people are demonic.

I’ve done work in third-world countries for 25 years. The values are not the same… You cannot let people come into the United States who come from cultures like that, because they bring their culture with them. That’s what’s happening.”

Brewer suggested the citizens of the far-left city also need a mental health assessment.

“There is something wrong in Minneapolis. We need a city-wide behavioral health assessment. People have completely lost reality,” Brewer said.

“I hope President Trump sends in the National Guard. We need curfews. We need real consequences for attacking law enforcement. These men and women should be able to do their jobs and go home to their families safely.”

Brewer also had strong words for Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Rather than lead the city and encourage citizens to follow the law, Frey has increasingly thrown gasoline on a volatile situation.

The behavior of Frey and other Democrats in the state has been so concerning that last Tuesday, the Justice Department issued subpoenas to Frey, Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and other far-left Minnesota officials after a criminal investigation was launched into interference with ICE operations.

According to CBS News, the investigation centers around public statements made by Walz and Frey.

Although Brewer accepted a key to the city from Frey in 2018, he has a less favorable view of the far-left Mayor today.

“I wish I could lock the doors on that city and not let him back in if I had the power. What he has done is absolutely ridiculous,” Brewer said.

“He tap-dances for Somalis. He does anything to go against the culture of America and Christianity for them.”

Brewer has been unapologetically vocal about what has been happening in his home state.

Brewer provided concerning details about the rampant fraud he has witnessed involving ‘Somali elites’ and high-end businesses that he has watched ‘transform’ his home state.

A federal judge in Minnesota has issued a restraining order blocking the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from handling evidence in an ongoing investigation into an attack on federal agents.

The order comes amidst a firestorm of attacks from radical leftist politicians, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison, who have launched a coordinated campaign against the Trump Administration’s efforts to restore law and order in the Twin Cities.

On Saturday, U.S. District Court Judge Eric Tostrud, a Trump appointee, granted a temporary restraining order against the DHS and FBI to “immediately stop destroying, altering, or tampering with any evidence” connected to the deadly incident, including the shooting of a suspect identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti.

It can be recalled that Pretti approached Border Patrol officers while carrying a 9mm semiautomatic handgun and began forcefully resisting orders.

The lawsuit was filed by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, led by Attorney General Keith Ellison, who alleges that federal authorities removed evidence from the scene and took exclusive custody of key materials related to the shooting.

According to the court order, state officials were compelled to seek immediate judicial intervention to prevent the potential destruction or alteration of evidence by federal agencies involved in the shooting.

After reviewing the complaint and supporting filings, Judge Tostrud granted the TRO, explicitly barring federal officials and anyone acting on their behalf from destroying or altering evidence connected to the fatal shooting, including evidence already removed from the scene or placed under federal control.

The court also waived the bond requirement.

The judge has scheduled a court hearing on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul, where federal defendants will have an opportunity to object and argue whether the restraining order should remain in place.

Judge Tostrud has also given the Trump administration until midday Monday to respond to the order.
