The Arizona Police Association, one of the state’s largest law enforcement advocacy organizations, issued a statement late last week, rebuking Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes after she suggested that Arizonans would be justified in shooting and killing ICE agents. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Mayes, in a recent televised interview, suggested that you have the right to kill masked ICE agents in Arizona. “We’re a gun culture in this state,” she said. “You have these masked Federal officers with very little identification, sometimes no identification, wearing plain clothes and masks. And we have a Stand Your Ground law that says that if you reasonably believe that your life is in danger, and you’re in your house or your car or on your property, that you can defend yourself with lethal force.”

“You’re not allowed to shoot peace officers,” she added. “But how do you know they’re a peace officer?”

Even 12 News’s Brahm Resnik attempted to push back, noting the possible interpretation of a call for violence, but she doubled down.

Mayes tried to claim that she isn’t giving a “license” to Arizonans to kill ICE agents, but went on to suggest a possible legal defense for somebody who does. “It becomes, did they reasonably know that they were a peace officer, you know?”

Mayes’s police liaison, David Harvey, has since resigned from his position, likely due to her calls for violence against law enforcement officials.

“During a televised interview with 12News journalist Brahm Resnick regarding a potential ICE deployment in Arizona, the Attorney General was asked whether she had a message for protesters. She responded by urging them to remain peaceful, respectful, and restrained, stating she would ‘protect them. That message, standing alone, was appropriate,” the Arizona Police Association said in a statement condemning Mayes’s “reckless” comments.

“However, the interview quickly shifted to a discussion of Arizona’s self-defense and ‘stand your ground’ laws. In that context, Attorney General Mayes went on to describe scenarios under which a person could claim legal justification for shooting a law enforcement officer, specifically citing the possibility that ICE agents might not be easily identifiable due to masks or nontraditional uniforms,” the group adds, noting that Mayes’s comments are “deeply troubling and dangerous.”

The organization further notes that law enforcement officers, including those in Arizona and members of the Attorney General’s own security detail, sometimes wear plainclothes or nontraditional police uniforms with face coverings when necessary.

“Words from elected officials matter. It only takes one unstable individual to interpret such commentary as permission or encouragement to use deadly force against police officers,” the statement continues.

Phoenix, AZ— Arizona Police Association Executive Director Joe Clure issued the following statement regarding Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’ reckless comments regarding ICE operations and Arizona’s Stand Your Ground Laws:

“Law enforcement is inherently dangerous work. Recent public comments by Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes have the potential to make it even more dangerous.

“During a televised interview with 12News journalist Brahm Resnick regarding a potential ICE deployment in Arizona, the Attorney General was asked whether she had a message for protesters. She responded by urging them to remain peaceful, respectful, and restrained, stating she would ‘protect them. That message, standing alone, was appropriate.

“However, the interview quickly shifted to a discussion of Arizona’s self-defense and ‘stand your ground’ laws. In that context, Attorney General Mayes went on to describe scenarios under which a person could claim legal justification for shooting a law enforcement officer, specifically citing the possibility that ICE agents might not be easily identifiable due to masks or nontraditional uniforms.

“Even the interviewer expressed concern and attempted to redirect the conversation. Despite this, the Attorney General continued to outline how deadly force could be justified against law enforcement officers under those circumstances.

“This framing is deeply troubling and dangerous. Law enforcement officers at every level including state, local, and federal agencies do not always wear traditional uniforms. Officers across Arizona, including members of the Attorney General’s own investigative teams, routinely operate in plain clothes or wear protective face coverings when circumstances require it. This does not diminish their legal authority or status as law enforcement.

“ICE agents are sworn federal law enforcement officers carrying out the lawful duties of the federal government. Publicly speculating about how someone might legally justify shooting an ICE agent sends a dangerous and irresponsible message, particularly in an already tense and polarized environment.

“Words from elected officials matter. It only takes one unstable individual to interpret such commentary as permission or encouragement to use deadly force against police officers.

“As Arizona’s chief law enforcement officer, the Attorney General has a responsibility to de-escalate, not inflame. We find these remarks reckless, irresponsible, and dangerous to the safety of all law enforcement professionals in this state.

“The Arizona Police Association urges all elected officials, at every level of government, to stop politicizing law enforcement and immigration enforcement, and instead work collaboratively toward lawful, meaningful, and lasting solutions that do not place officers’ lives at greater risk.”

CNN host Jake Tapper barely pushed back after the liberal guest incited violence and falsely claimed ICE agents will soon be putting people in concentration camps.

“They take people to ports here which literally was built as a concentration camp and Alligator Alcatraz, which we can all agree is a concentration camp,” the guest said.

“I’m not saying they’re putting people in ovens yet, but these are concentration camps,” said Jamie Schwesnedl, co-owner of Moon Palace Books in Minneapolis.

Tapper lightly brushed him off.

On Sunday, Minnesota’s unhinged Democrat Governor Tim Walz made similar claims.

Tim Walz compared President Trump’s immigration enforcement operations to the Nazis’ arresting Anne Frank.

“Allow our children to go back to school. We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside,” Walz said.

“Many of us grew up reading that story of Anne Frank. Somebody’s going to write that children’s story about Minnesota,” he said.

Walz also urged Trump supporters to jump ship and join leftists in opposing ICE operations.

“You’re allowed to decide at any point that you are not with this anymore,” Walz said.

“If you voted for the administration, heck even if you thought Operation Metro Surge was a good idea and sounded like something we could do about it a month ago, you’re still allowed to look at what’s happening here in Minnesota and say this isn’t what I wanted or what I want,” he added.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will deliver a press briefing this afternoon amid the chaos and organized insurrection in Minneapolis, days after a leftwing terrorist was shot by a Border Patrol agent. 

Border Patrol fatally shot a man, identified as 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, during a struggle on Saturday morning after the suspect pulled his gun on agents, sparking riots and further attacks on law enforcement.

Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino told reporters on Saturday that the incident occurred while federal agents were attempting to arrest Jose Huerta Chuma of Ecuador, an illegal alien who had a record of domestic assault to intentionally inflict bodily harm, disorderly conduct, and driving without a valid license.

Meanwhile, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz responded to the incident, making no mention of the gun-wielding individual obstructing law enforcement. Instead, he claimed that Minnesotans, who were rioting at the time, were “peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights,” and he declared that he’s “creating a log of evidence for the future prosecution of ICE agents and officials responsible for this.”

Anti-ICE rioters immediately began clashing with ICE and setting fires as law enforcement deployed crowd control measures following Pretti’s death. Thousands of anti-ICE rioters established an “autonomous zone” after overwhelming Minneapolis police and driving them out of the area.

Federal agents have been under siege, facing violent attacks, including one incident where a rioter bit an agent’s finger off.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump responded to the chaos on Sunday with a list of demands for Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and democratic Mayors and governors across the country.

Trump further called for Congress to “immediately pass Legislation to END Sanctuary Cities, which is the root cause of all of these problems.”

A act of pure anti-Christian evil and animal cruelty happened over the weekend by a monster who almost certainly had no business being on the streets to begin with.

As KOMO News reported, a thug walked up and stabbed an innocent person and his dog at a nearby corner store after learning his victim was a Christian. The incident reported happened Sunday morning at nearby corner store in Parkland, Washington.

After being knifed, the victim called 911 at 6:24 a.m. to report the incident. Police discovered he and his dog were severely injured when they arrived on scene.

When deputies arrived, the victim was in serious condition and told deputies the unknown man had come up to him and asked what religion he was.

The victim answered the man and said something about being a Christian, and the man then attacked and stabbed the victim and his dog before fleeing southbound on Park Ave. S.

He was able to provide a description of the suspect before being taken to a local hospital. The victim’s dog, also seriously injured, was taken to a local animal hospital for immediate surgery.

Police were initially unable to locate the suspect but later encountered him at the 800 block of 112th St. S. The man then broke into a nearby home.

A police spokesperson revealed the man then approached the deputies with multiple knives and resisted arrest. Cops then gunned him down in self-defense.

Authorities do not know the identity of the suspect at this time and are asking the public for help.

“If there are any witnesses, they’ll talk to people that live here in the area to find out if they know anything, if they heard anything, if they saw anything,” Sgt. Charles Porche, the acting public information officer with Pierce Co. FIT, told KOMO News.

According to the outlet, the area in Parkland has seen a rise in crime in recently and many residents are scared to walk at night.

“We’re looking for a route out of here,” Christopher Dotson, a father with young childrensaid to KOMO News. “It’s better to be somewhere safe, and kids can ride scooters and come out and do normal kid stuff without having to worry about who’s going to get shot or if you’re going to get caught in the crossfire.”
