Minnesota Governor Tim Walz must resign from his position, given the widespread damage he has inflicted upon his state and the ability of law enforcement to safely carry out their jobs.

Tim Walz has a national reputation for incompetence.  He has presided over one of the most corrupt states in the nation.

He has overseen, without exaggeration, the greatest money-laundering operation which has come to light in modern American history – a fraud that has resulted in the funneling of billions of dollars of taxpayer money to stand up Somali-run shell companies.

In part to serve as a distraction for the rampant corruption found across Minnesota, Walz has pivoted to creating extraordinarily hazardous conditions that have led to the unnecessary deaths of two citizens who unlawfully obstructed ICE and Border Patrol agents from carrying out their responsibilities.

Walz stoked these dangerous conditions by turning Minnesota into a so-called sanctuary jurisdiction (a legal designation that is unconstitutional on its face), allowing hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants to infiltrate the North Star State, and particularly urban areas like Minneapolis and St. Paul, with impunity.

Once there, he imposed additional, makeshift burdens on ICE and CBP, further complicating a deportation campaign that is already rife with difficulties given the scale of the mandate coupled with the intense, continuing opposition by Democrats and their media allies.

Walz has compromised the lives of law enforcement agents by not cooperating with ICE and CBP, unlike what routinely takes place in red states such as Texas and Florida.

Red states deputize local law enforcement to clear the areas of traffic, congestion, and violent protestors, allowing ICE to do their duties and then move on quickly.

Rather than follow this effective model, Walz has instead gone out of his way to make the lives of federal law enforcement more difficult: he has permeated local police with progressive activists, making grounds for cooperation between federal and state officials almost impossible.

Instead of assisting federal law enforcement, Walz has withheld critical reinforcements that would have likely prevented the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

Now, ICE and Border Patrol agents are forced to enter these deep blue areas, which are already swarming with illegal aliens and violent protectors who are given the top cover of their political leadership, without the additional backup measures essential to carry out an efficient operation.

Beyond that, Walz’ incendiary rhetoric has the intent of inciting these agitators, many of whom are being funded by radical Left-wing organizations backed by George Soros and other prominent leftist NGOs.

Pretti, as a case in point, arrived at the scene of the crime threatening to “massacre” federal law enforcement agents.  This is not the rhetoric of a peaceful, law-abiding protestor.

These are the words of a trained agitator looking to incite violence and cause havoc.

Though Walz has made clear that he is a member of the far left, he has a bare minimum civic duty as governor of the state of Minnesota to discern between cases of constitutionally protected protest, and violent agitators, which do not receive the protective cover of the First Amendment.

Both Good and Pretti fall squarely in the latter camp.  They did not arrive at the scene to voice a fundamental right.  They wanted violence.

Good and Pretti were there as political operators, systematically carrying out the marching orders of their Democratic superiors.  People like Walz and their equally useless mayor, Jacob Frey, have socially engineered the conditions in Minnesota aimed at sowing maximum division and civil disorder.  These are not good faith actors.

They are not even pretending to be acting in the public interest.  When asked by a reporter if Walz would at least meet the Trump administration in the middle, rather than take the compromise, he doubled down on his vile, incendiary rhetoric.

He accused Trump, ICE, and DHS of engendering chaos in Minnesota, and took zero responsibility for the deaths for which he alone is at fault.

The reason Minnesota has been ground zero for radical political movements in recent years, from the riots that accompanied George Floyd’s death six years ago to the anti-ICE protests observed today, is because of unhinged zealots like Walz, who are leading the state of Minnesota into a dark place of national ruination and embarrassment.

Lest we forget, the cleanup by ICE agents is in response to a crisis devised by Democratic politicians who saw fit to open up America’s borders for four straight years under Biden, unleashing tens of millions of illegals all across the country, in the hopes of solidifying one-party Democrat rule and locking Trump out of power indefinitely.

Because that effort failed and Trump returned to power, they have now returned once again to their playbook from 2020: riling up mentally unstable agitators who belong in a mental institution to create a fake narrative which posits that a majority of Americans oppose what is presently going on with federal deportation measures.  That is not true.

Nearly 80 million Americans re-elected President Trump on a domestic policy agenda that expressly called for the greatest deportation effort in our nation’s history.  The campaign is extremely popular.

What is going on in Minnesota right now, and across the country with deportation measures writ large, is exactly what the American people want.

Mass deportations and border security are policies supported by overwhelming majorities of the voting public.  No amount of gaslighting will change it.

Simply because Tim Walz, a radical, incompetent, buffoon, subscribes to the outdated, globalist doctrine of open borders, does not mean the rest of America must play along with his ridiculous charade.  Tim Walz abdicated his duties to Minnesota and his constitutional oath.

Each day he remains in office is another day that he puts more lives at risk, including protestors and federal law enforcement agents alike.

He must step down for planting the seeds of chaos to serve as a convenient distraction for the rampant criminal fraud that has spread like a cancer across the state of Minnesota, also his creation.

Minnesotans deserve better; Americans deserve better.  Tim Walz must go.

Media Claim: “ICE Drags Citizen in the Snow in His Underwear,” But There Is More to the Story

Media Claim: “ICE Drags Citizen in the Snow in His Underwear,” But There Is More to the Story
January 26, 2026

Law enforcement officials escort a shirtless man wrapped in a blanket out of a house during a snowstorm.

On January 18, 2026, ICE arrested ChongLy “Scott” Thao in St. Paul, Minnesota. The incident went viral because of footage showing Thao, a 56-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen, being led from his home in sub-freezing weather wearing only underwear and sandals with a small blanket over his shoulders.

The Thao family states that ICE agents forced their way in without a warrant, pointed guns at the family, including a 4-year-old, and refused to look at Thao’s ID. They claim he was driven to a remote location, photographed and fingerprinted, and only returned home after agents realized he was a citizen.

The facts are very different from the family’s claims and the media framing. First off, the agents had a warrant. They were using an administrative warrant rather than a judicial warrant, which is consistent with new ICE directives.

Under the directive signed by Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, ICE has been instructed that administrative warrants (Form I-205) are now considered sufficient for residential entry. If an individual with a final order of removal is believed to be inside and refuses to open the door, agents are authorized to use a necessary and reasonable amount of force to enter.

DHS described it as a targeted operation for two convicted sex offenders, Kongmeng Vang and Lue Moua. The reason agents used a battering ram to break in was because, according to the Associated Press, a family member alerted Thao that agents were banging on the door, but he told them not to open it.

Agents drew their weapons because the targets were dangerous criminals. Moua is described as “a violent illegal alien sexual offender” and a “child predator,” while Vang is described as a “criminal illegal alien” from Laos with a 2016 removal order and a history involving sexual assault and gang activity.

Because Thao matched the physical description of one of the targets, ICE protocol required agents to use a new mobile biometric app, Mobile Fortify, which captures fingerprints and facial photographs to verify identity. However, Thao refused. Consequently, he was taken into custody, photographed and fingerprinted, and then returned home.

Commenters on social media are outraged that Thao was taken out of the house in his underwear. However, there is no indication that agents stripped him. He was apparently already in his underwear when agents arrived. The half-naked aspect and the use of force are consistent with High-Risk Entry protocols. If agents believe a suspect is a convicted sex offender, they prioritize speed and tactical dominance over the suspect’s comfort.

However, he would not have been removed at all if he had allowed agents to fingerprint him at his home.

Media outlets are also outraged that this happened to a citizen. However, there was no way to verify his citizenship or identity until after the fingerprints were taken.

While media are framing this as a series of blunders, the reality is that ICE made only one mistake: Lue Moua, the man DHS claimed was living with Thao, has been incarcerated at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault since September 2024. However, Kongmeng Vang is not in jail.

The plot thickens. Not only is there a connection between Thao and Vang, but Vang also previously lived at this address. DHS identifies Vang as the ex-husband of a Thao family member.

According to the family, Vang moved out when they divorced, which they say explains why he might be linked to the address in older databases. However, they insist he has not lived there for years.

There are a number of other odd details in the case that suggest there is more to the story. Thao’s son, Chris Thao, told the Associated Press that ICE agents stopped him on his way to work just before they went to detain his father. He said he was driving a car he had borrowed from his cousin’s boyfriend, and that the boyfriend’s first name matches that of one of the men DHS said it was seeking. Chris Thao said he did not know the boyfriend’s last name.

At this point, it is odd that ICE went to the address where they believed at least one of the offenders lived and found a Lao man with a similar description who claims to know nothing about the two men. Then there is the issue of Chris Thao and the borrowed car. ICE does not conduct routine traffic stops, which raises the question of why he was stopped and what the outcome of that stop was, or whether the traffic stop even happened.

Furthermore, how does Chris know the person well enough to borrow his car, but not well enough to know his last name? According to reports, Chris assured the agents that the boyfriend was not the person they were looking for. But how could Chris know this if he did not know the boyfriend’s last name?

Some media speculate that agents were following the car because the boyfriend has a similar name to the man they were looking for. But in that case, during the traffic stop, wouldn’t agents have run the plates and registration to find the address where the car was registered, and wouldn’t they have gone there instead of Thao’s house? If the car was the target, then how did agents end up at Thao’s house at all, given that the house appears to have no direct connection to the car?

Many of the facts of the case suggest that additional investigation will be needed and that the link between Thao and his address may help in the apprehension of the convicted sex offender Kongmeng Vang, who has an outstanding final order of deportation.

The media claims the incident represents a failing of ICE, or specifically of ICE intelligence, but looking at the facts, ICE went to the right house associated with Vang, a criminal who is still at large. The people in that house were related to Vang. The family said they will sue ICE for violating Thao’s rights as a citizen.

However, Thao was removed from the home only because of his noncompliance in allowing agents to definitively verify his identity using biometrics. Even with Thao refusing to open the door and rejecting the very identification measures that could have ended the ordeal, the family told reporters that the entire incident from start to finish lasted only one to two hours. Claims of overreach, failure to do due diligence, or violations of rights appear to lack validity.

Neonatal Nurse Pleads No Contest to 9 Charges of Abusing Infants – Will Serve Disgraceful Sentence Despite Damning Video Evidence

Neonatal Nurse Pleads No Contest to 9 Charges of Abusing Infants – Will Serve Disgraceful Sentence Despite Damning Video Evidence
January 26, 2026

A former nurse made a plea agreement, pleading no contest after a slew of child abuse charges were brought against her.

Erin Strotman, 27, worked in the neonatal intensive care unit at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, where from 2022 through 2024, she allegedly inflicted harm on nine children, adding up to 20 charges.

Judge Richard Wallerstein Jr. accepted the plea deal, which includes a maximum sentence of three years in prison despite such heinous crimes.

KVVU-TV reported the prosecution showed footage in court of Strotman “placing her full body weight on the infant who was crying in distress.” The case against her began in late 2024 when hospital staff found three pre-term babies had bone fractures that couldn’t be explained.

Strotman is currently on house arrest until her sentencing in June.

She cannot work as a nurse or in healthcare again, nor work around children or vulnerable adults.

Henrico Commonwealth’s Attorney Shannon Taylor commented on the case and vowed to achieve justice for the families of these children.

“I have always made it a priority to ensure that we would be able to ask the Court to hold Erin Strotman accountable for all of the families being impacted,” she said.

“We made a promise to these families that we would continue to work on this matter, and I intended for us to keep that promise.”

Three years would hardly be considered justice.

KVUE reported Thursday that Virginia Gonzales, a mother in Del Valle, Texas, pleaded guilty to two counts of felony child abuse, receiving 25 years in prison.

This was a plea deal for Gonzales, 33, after her malnourished 7-year-old was found by her grandmother locked away in Gonzales’ home. The girl suffered permanent brain damage from starvation, weighing just 29 pounds.

A daycare worker in Montgomery County, Tennessee, was given a 20-year sentence after abusing a 13-month-old in her care. Footage during her trial showed the worker, Sarah Fuson, slamming the child’s head into a cot, WKRN reported in December.

Both women hurt children much like Strotman did, but their sentences were significantly longer.

There should not be any hope for people like this to ever get a light sentence.

Twenty years should a minimum.

Three years is unimaginable after hurting someone so young and vulnerable.

A senior figure at the very top of China’s military has been abruptly removed amid allegations he passed highly sensitive nuclear information to the United States.

Zhang Youxia, long regarded as the operational leader of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), was dismissed on Saturday for a “serious violation of discipline.”

According to The Wall Street Journal, the 75-year-old general is accused of sharing classified details relating to China’s nuclear weapons programme with Washington.

The allegations were reportedly laid out during a closed-door briefing attended by senior PLA officers.

The meeting took place only hours before Beijing publicly confirmed that Zhang was under formal investigation.

Officials at the briefing are said to have accused Zhang not only of leaking state secrets, but also of accepting bribes in exchange for promoting a senior officer to the defence minister.

He was further alleged to have formed “political cliques” within the military, a charge that often signals concerns over loyalty rather than corruption alone.

Evidence presented at the meeting was reportedly supplied by Gu Jun, a former executive at China National Nuclear Corporation, which oversees both civilian and military nuclear programmes.

Gu himself is under investigation as part of a sweeping corruption probe targeting China’s defence and nuclear sectors.

Officials told the briefing that the inquiry into Gu had uncovered a major security breach inside the nuclear establishment, to which Zhang was allegedly connected.

Zhang’s downfall is particularly striking given his status within the PLA.

He was one of the few remaining senior commanders with direct combat experience, having fought in China’s brief but bloody war with Vietnam in 1979.

He had also survived multiple previous military purges that hollowed out the PLA’s upper ranks over recent years.

Widely seen as “untouchable,” Zhang was a childhood acquaintance of Xi Jinping and had long been viewed as politically secure.

Since taking power, Xi has more than doubled China’s defence budget as part of his ambition to build a “world-class” fighting force by 2049.

U.S. intelligence assessments suggest he has also ordered the military to be ready for a potential invasion of Taiwan by next year.

A Dangerous Year for Taiwan: Converging Pressures Raise the Risk of Chinese Invasion

However, repeated removals of senior commanders have raised questions about both their unity and readiness.

In October, nine generals were dismissed, including former Central Military Commission vice-chairman He Weidong.

‘Operation Overlord’ protest on French Beach – Social Media/X

The ‘invasion’ turned out to be a mere PR exercise.

Yesterday, France’s Intel Service and massive police numbers mobilized to counter a ‘D-Day style invasion’ protest by British protesters against the small boat illegal invasion.

Daily Mail reported:

“The French authorities imposed a sweeping ban on gatherings between Calais and Dunkirk on Saturday, and threatened to arrest and deport anyone arriving from the UK.

British protest leader Daniel Thomas, an ex-convict banned from France after harassing charity workers last month, appeared to have slipped into the country via Belgium.”

The ‘Operation Overlord’ did not draw 15,000 ‘proud Englishmen’ to France to ‘stop the boats’ – the weather didn’t permit crossings.

Only a small group arrived on a beach and waved flags.

A simultaneous protest in Dover turned out to be a small gathering in a pub.

“According to critics, French officials seemed markedly more concerned by the arrival of British protestors than they are by the tens of thousands of migrants setting off for England in dinghies every year.

[…] As well as large squads of Police Nationale officers, and gendarmes, those looking to stamp out British protests around Calais included ‘multiple members of the DGSI’, or General Directorate for Internal Security.”
