California Governor Gavin Newsom recently told CNN that in order to win elections, Democrats need to be more ‘culturally normal.’
He emphasized that Democrats need to spend less time talking about gender and pronouns and more time focused on the issues that matter to most Americans, like the economy, jobs, housing, etc.
While Newsom is making a valid point for once, his party is simply not capable of doing this. They have made it clear that things like ‘trans rights’ are more important to them than housing or any other pressing issue.
Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., told CNN’s Dana Bash that Democrats will need to be more “culturally normal” on issues like transgender athletes in women’s sports if they want to win voters.
The “Inside Politics” host aired the rest of her lengthy interview with the California governor and potential 2028 presidential candidate about his new book, “Young Man in a Hurry,” on Monday. One of the topics included whether he still believed transgender athletes were being used as a “wedge issue” in the party.
“From a tactical perspective, from the prism of purely politics, there’s no doubt that the Democratic Party needs to be, dare I say, more culturally normal. I believe that – less prone to spending a disproportionate amount of time on pronouns, identity, politics, more focused on tabletop issues, things that really matter, the stacking of stress in terms of electricity bills and childcare costs and healthcare and obviously housing costs and how easily we get trapped in that, how I’ve fallen prey to that,” Newsom said.
Newsom claimed to have spoken from his experience being at the forefront of Democrats defending the issue and after receiving backlash for his more moderate position, arguing that there needed to be more nuance.

Think about what the Democrat National Convention is going to look like for 2028. Does Gavin Newsom really believe that it won’t be full of trans activists and candidates pledging to support them? Of course it will.
Newsom’s instincts may be right here, but that is simply not where his party is today. They can’t make it through an election speech without sounding downright abnormal to most Americans. The gender issue is a hill their party will die upon.

Bill O’Reilly spoke to Leland Vittert of NewsNation tonight about Trump’s ‘State of the Union’ address tomorrow night and touched on the fact that a number of House Democrats are boycotting the speech in favor of purely partisan events sponsored by far-left groups.
O’Reilly correctly casts this as childish on behalf of Democrats but goes further, suggesting that these Democrats are beholden to the donors who are bankrolling them. He suggests that this is the real reason they are not attending, despite their claims.
Of course, most Trump supporters do not mind the idea of these people skipping the event. It will be better without them there. All they do is sit there, looking angry and trying to make the whole thing about them.

“So they’re not going to be there, all of these a bomb throwers, Trump haters.”

If Democrats are incapable of respecting the office of the President of the United States, they probably should just skip the event. Average Americans are sick to death of the childish tantrum they have been throwing for the last ten years.
Let them go to off-site rallies with activists instead, until they finally learn to behave properly.
AMAZING: CNN’s Fareed Zakaria Admits Far-Left Governance is Ruining America’s Blue Cities (VIDEO)

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria recently had a moment of clarity and admitted that one-party rule by the far left is ruining American cities. He devoted an entire monologue to it and sounded more like someone on FOX News than CNN.
He kicked it off by focusing on Zohran Mamdani but eventually got around to mentioning Chicago and Los Angeles as examples as well.
He notes the massive taxes that people pay in New York and the awful return that they get for the price. He touches on education, housing and more.
It’s pretty amazing for someone on CNN to admit all of this.
Zakaria opened with Zohran Mamdani’s New York, calling it “a prime example of a problem Democrats seem unwilling to confront.” That’s a pretty remarkable admission from a CNN host, but I assure you, he was just getting started.
“Blue cities are out of control,” he said, “promising more, spending more, delivering less, and pushing off the fiscal problems to some future day.”
He then turned to Los Angeles, and the numbers he cited are staggering. Zakaria noted that the city’s homelessness budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 alone totals roughly $950 million. Not the cumulative total over several years. One year. And what has all that money bought? He explained that the LA Homelessness Services Authority reported that homelessness increased by 9% countywide and 10% within the city in 2023. A 2024 AP account found that homelessness had surged by 70% countywide since 2015 and by 80% within the city.
“All this amid public frustration, despite billions spent,” Zakaria said…
Then Zakaria asked the key question Democrats never ask: “What is the theory of good government here?” His answer was cutting. “If the answer is keep adding programs, the city will keep producing unaffordability, because unaffordability is what happens when government becomes a machine that grows faster than the society it governs.”

Blue cities are out of control, promising more, spending more, delivering less and pushing off fiscal problems to some future day.
Democrats in city halls should stop governing as if the goal is to announce new entitlements, and instead make government work.
Zohran Mamdani’s proposed budget for New York City is bigger than the budget for the entire state of Florida, yet Florida is producing better results and people are flocking there to live.
Someone needs to share this video with Mamdani. Maybe he’ll learn something.
Suspect Seen in Chilling Porch Video Approached Nancy Guthrie’s Door Before the Night of Her Abduction

There is a new development in the Nancy Guthrie case.
According to Fox News, the man seen in the chilling porch doorbell footage approached Nancy Guthrie’s front door the night before her abduction.
The photos released by the FBI of the suspect on Nancy Guthrie’s porch were taken on two different days. In the first photo, the suspect is not wearing a backpack.
84-year-old Nancy Guthrie was abducted from her Pima County, Arizona, home on February 1.
One of Nancy Guthrie’s Nest doorbell camera images released by the FBI was taken on a different date than the others, a source with knowledge of the investigation confirmed to Fox News Digital Monday.
The new details indicate the masked suspect scouted the home in advance of the 84-year-old Guthrie’s suspected abduction on Feb. 1.
The source declined to specify what day the earlier image was taken, citing the active investigation.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos tells Fox News that the information did not come from him.
Authorities have alternately asked for neighbors to check their home security systems for the entire month of January, the night of Jan. 11, and the hours surrounding Guthrie’s disappearance, between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
The suspected scouting visit was first reported by ABC News, citing unnamed sources.

The FBI last Sunday said the gloves found a couple of miles from Nancy Guthrie’s home match the glove to the person seen in the chilling porch doorbell video.
One of the 16 gloves matches the glove seen on the subject in the Nancy Guthrie surveillance video.
DNA from an unknown male was recovered from the glove and was sent out to a lab for processing.
The DNA found on the glove that was found a couple of miles away from Nancy Guthrie’s home was run through CODIS (Combined DNA Index System) and did not trigger a match.
The DNA that was submitted to CODIS was from the set of gloves found 2 miles away. It did not trigger a match in CODIS & did not match DNA found at the property. The DNA found at the property is being analyzed & further testing needs to be done as part of the investigation.

Lara Trump blasted Democrats during a recent appearance on FOX News.
She was talking about the latest attempt on Trump’s life, the gunman who sneaked into Mar-a-Lago and was shot by the Secret Service. She criticized the constant rhetoric from Democrats comparing Trump to Nazis, Hitler, and so forth.
The thing about this is that it really seems like Democrats know exactly what they’re doing here. It seems completely intentional.
President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, expressed concern about the president’s chances of surviving assassination attempts on Monday after U.S. Secret Service agents shot and killed a man attempting to force his way into his Mar-a-Lago residence.
Two agents and a deputy from the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office on Sunday “confronted” the individual, who was armed with a shotgun and possessed a gas can, according to a press conference held by federal and local law enforcement officials following a statement from the U.S. Secret Service. The president’s daughter-in-law argued on “Fox & Friends” that incendiary rhetoric about the president led to the incident, which followed two assassination attempts on him during the 2024 presidential campaign.
“[W]henever you just casually throw around terms like Nazi, like fascist, like Hitler and racist, what do you think the consequences of that ultimately will be?” she said. “We are better than this as a country.”
“And I’ll tell you as a family member, I keep wondering how many chances does one man get? He’s not gonna be lucky enough at some point,” she continued. “Thank God he wasn’t at Mar-a-Lago and the First Lady wasn’t there this weekend. But you don’t get lucky every single time, guys.”

Democrats, on the other hand, are basically encouraging violence against Trump and members of his cabinet. They have been doing it since his first win in 2016.
