President Donald Trump has kept his commitment to seal the border upon resuming office in January 2025. Border crossings are down by more than 99 percent, an amazing difference compared to the previous four years.

Under the Biden regime, an estimated 15 million plus illegals came across an open border, which undermined the security of our country. That being said, law enforcement agencies like the Texas DPS are continually detecting and capturing illegal aliens.

Texas DPS Aircraft Operations Division used drone technology to detect and capture three illegal aliens from Mexico (one being a three-year-old child) crossing the Rio Grande earlier this week.

A DPS trooper with the Border Patrol located the illegals, one man, one woman, and a three-year-old.

After speaking with the mother, they discovered numerous wristbands, which the cartels use to know payment amounts and crossing areas. All three illegals were handed over to the Border Patrol.

Earlier this month, TGP reported that Texas DPS and their K-9 unit assisted the Border Patrol in capturing 14 illegal aliens in the brush.

An Indian national who overstayed his student visa to remain in the United States illegally has been sentenced to 18 years in federal prison for his role in a massive international fraud scheme that preyed on elderly Americans, stealing millions in cash and gold from their retirement savings.

Atharva Shailesh Sathawane, 23, from India, was convicted by a jury of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. He acted as a courier in the scheme, personally collecting and laundering over $6.6 million in cash and gold from vulnerable seniors across the East Coast.

Prosecutors revealed that Sathawane attempted to collect an additional $1.36 million in gold but was thwarted, once by a vigilant friend of a victim and again by his arrest during a law enforcement sting operation.

The fraud ring, orchestrated from India with domestic couriers like Sathawane, targeted elderly victims by posing as government officials or tech support personnel. They convinced seniors to liquidate their retirement accounts into cash or gold under false pretenses, such as protecting assets from supposed hacks or legal issues.

In total, the scheme defrauded at least 28 victims of approximately $15 million, with individual losses ranging from $50,000 to over $1.2 million.

One local victim, 84-year-old Gainesville resident Brian Oliver, lost $200,000 but played a key role in Sathawane’s arrest by alerting authorities. He described the scammers as “highly skilled manipulators” who exploited trust and fear.

U.S. Attorney John P. Heekin said in a press release, “Elder fraud schemes like this one are taking place every day in every state, but especially in Florida due to our large population of retirees, so it is of critical importance that we educate the public of these threats to prevent these fraudsters from continuing to victimize our seniors. I applaud the excellent investigative work by our state and federal law enforcement partners to uncover and dismantle this complex, international fraud scheme, which was made possible by the brave victims who came forward to report the fraud in the first place. Our hope is that these elder fraud schemes never occur, but the talented prosecutors in my office will aggressively pursue the heinous fraudsters, like this defendant, and seek maximum punishments when we catch them.”

Sathawane, who was living illegally in Gainesville, Florida, after his student visa expired, was arrested in a joint operation involving the FBI, IRS-Criminal Investigation, and Gainesville Police Department.

FBI Jacksonville Special Agent in Charge Jason Carley emphasized the prevalence of such schemes, particularly in states like Florida, which have large elderly populations.

“If anyone tells you to buy gold and hand it over to a stranger, it is not an investment, it is a scam,” said Carley. “Mr. Sathawane preyed on his victims’ trust and fear, convincing them to turn over their life savings in gold. Unfortunately, this is a growing trend. In Florida alone, victims lost more than 33 million dollars last year just to gold bar scams. This sentencing is just one step toward justice for the victims in this scheme and the FBI’s efforts to stop this from happening over and over again.”

In addition to the prison sentence, Sathawane has also been ordered to pay $4.36 million in restitution to 12 identified victims.

A leftist agitator who assaulted a brave Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer with a rock is facing 20 years behind bars.

The incident took place last June during a “No Kings” protest in Portland, where 25-year-old Robert Jacob Hoopes brutally attacked a member of federal law enforcement.

The Department of Justice said in a press release:

A Portland man pleaded guilty today after assaulting a federal officer at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in South Portland.

Robert Jacob Hoopes, 25, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault of a federal employee with a dangerous weapon resulting in bodily injury.

According to court documents, on June 14, 2025, Hoopes threw a large rock and struck an ICE officer in the head, causing a significant laceration over the officer’s eye.

Later that same day, he and two other individuals were seen using an upended stop sign as a makeshift battering ram, which resulted in significant damage to the main entry door to the ICE building.

On August 5, 2025, a federal grand jury in Portland returned a two-count indictment charging Hoopes with aggravated assault on a federal employee with a dangerous weapon and depredation of federal property.

Hoopes faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release. He will be sentenced on May 12, 2026, before a U.S. District Court Judge.

As part of the plea agreement, Hoopes has agreed to pay full restitution, estimated to be over $7,000. The FBI is investigating the case. The U.S. Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the case.

Hoopes, who describes himself as a “Quaker pacifist,” was originally charged with felony aggravated assault of a federal officer using a dangerous weapon, along with a separate count of depredation of federal property exceeding $1,000.

The property charge was later dismissed as part of a plea deal. He was taken into custody by the FBI during a raid at the home he shares with his girlfriend, who also has ties to Antifa.

Journalist From German Broadcaster Deutsche Welle Arrested in Turkey for Allegedly Insulting President Erdogan

Erdogan shows his heavy hand in leading his country.

Turkey is showing true nature of its regime.

On Friday, it was reported that Turkish authorities have arrested investigative journalist Alican Uludag over the charges of “insulting” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in social media posts.

“The reason for his arrest was a post published on X about a year and a half ago. In it, the reporter criticized the Turkish government for releasing potential ISIS fighters and accused the Turkish government of corruption.” NEXTA.

Associated Press reported:

“Uludag, who works for German broadcaster Deutsche Welle’s Turkish service, was taken from his home in Ankara late Thursday on suspicion of insulting the president and disseminating misleading information through his posts on X.”

Criticize Erdogan from inside Turkey is very risky.

“The journalist, known for his reporting on the judiciary and corruption cases, was later transferred to Istanbul, where prosecutors charged him with insulting the president — an offense that carries a maximum prison sentence of four years.”

Alican Uludağ expresses unwavering commitment to justice for Sinan Ateş and his family, emphasizing resilience against threats and the importance of speaking out.

“Uludag denied the allegations during questioning, insisting that his posts were legitimate criticism made in his capacity as a judiciary reporter, according to court documents published by Cumhuriyet newspaper.”

Press freedom advocates criticized the arrest, describing it as “an attack on media independence and democratic norms.”

“Deutsche Welle’s director‑general, Barbara Massing, demanded his release, calling the arrest ‘a deliberate act of intimidation’.”

Minnesota lawmaker Leigh Finke discusses age verification for adult content, arguing it can be educational for queer youth during a legislative session.

When you hear about so-called “trans rights” what they really mean is they want the ability to mutilate innocent children and show minors graphic pornography.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, “Consumption of pornography is associated with many negative emotional, psychological, sociological, and physical health outcomes. These include increased rates of depression, anxiety, acting out and violent behavior, younger age of sexual debut, sexual promiscuity, increased risk of teen pregnancy, child sex abuse, sexual trafficking, and a distorted view of relationships between men and women.”

The Gateway Pundit reported,

In a contentious hearing at the Minnesota State Capitol on Thursday, Democratic State Representative Leigh Finke, the state’s first openly transgender legislator, voiced strong opposition to a bill requiring age verification for websites containing material harmful to minors, claiming porn can be “educational” for queer kids.
Finke argued that such restrictions could block access to “educational” content for queer children.

House File 1434 (HF 1434), introduced by Republican Rep. Ben Bakeberg, aims to protect minors from explicit online content by mandating age verification on websites where at least one-third of the material appeals to a “prurient interest” in nudity, sex, or excretion, or depicts sexual conduct in a patently offensive way.

The bill defines “harmful to minors” based on standards lacking serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value for youth.

It would allow the state Attorney General to enforce and create a private right of action for parents or guardians to sue noncompliant sites for up to $10,000 per violation, plus actual damages and attorney’s fees.

Finke claimed that the vague definition of “prurient interest” could be interpreted to include “the very existence of transgender kids.”

The representative also claimed attorneys general in other states with similar laws are “almost jubilant” about using them to ban children from accessing material that “could be educational if they are queer.”

Reports indicate that children in America are being exposed to pornography at shockingly young ages.

This is not “educational” it is evil.
