The leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, and Canada have now signaled they will join the United States in a coalition to secure and keep open the critical Strait of Hormuz, the vital oil chokepoint the bloodthirsty Iranian regime has turned into a terrorist kill zone.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the radical Islamic mullahs in Tehran launched a desperate campaign of economic terrorism after U.S. and Israeli strikes hammered their nuclear sites and terror infrastructure.

Iran mined the strait, attacked unarmed commercial vessels, targeted oil facilities, and effectively closed the waterway that carries nearly 20-25% of the world’s oil supply.

President Trump refused to let America shoulder the entire burden alone. He blasted the freeloading “allies,” took to Truth Social, and demanded that nations dependent on Middle Eastern oil step up and send warships.

“Hopefully China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others, that are affected by this artificial constraint, will send Ships to the area so that the Hormuz Strait will no longer be a threat by a Nation that has been totally decapitated,” Trump said.

He even threatened to “finish off” Iran and let NATO and Asia handle the mess if they wouldn’t get in gear. As we reported, the initial responses from Europe were weak and uninspiring, classic globalist foot-dragging.

Now, with Iran’s attacks growing more brazen and the Strait’s security directly tied to global oil flows, those same allies are signaling that they are prepared to stand with the United States.

That does not yet mean all seven countries have announced warship deployments.

The joint statement so far supports that they have formally backed efforts to keep passage open and are ready to contribute, while some governments are still working through what their exact role will be.

Britain, for example, has been publicly discussing possible deployments, including ships and mine-countermeasure assets, but final national commitments appear to remain in motion.

Read the joint statement from the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan and Canada:

“We condemn in the strongest terms recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the Gulf, attacks on civilian infrastructure including oil and gas installations, and the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iranian forces.

We express our deep concern about the escalating conflict. We call on Iran to cease immediately its threats, laying of mines, drone and missile attacks and other attempts to block the Strait to commercial shipping, and to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

Freedom of navigation is a fundamental principle of international law, including under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

The effects of Iran’s actions will be felt by people in all parts of the world, especially the most vulnerable.

Consistent with UNSC Resolution 2817, we emphasise that such interference with international shipping and the disruption of global energy supply chains constitute a threat to international peace and security. In this regard, we call for an immediate comprehensive moratorium on attacks on civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas installations.

We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait. We welcome the commitment of nations who are engaging in preparatory planning.

We welcome the International Energy Agency decision to authorise a coordinated release of strategic petroleum reserves. We will take other steps to stabilise energy markets, including working with certain producing nations to increase output.

We will also work to provide support for the most affected nations, including through the United Nations and the IFIs.

Maritime security and freedom of navigation benefit all countries. We call on all states to respect international law and uphold the fundamental principles of international prosperity and security.”

Trump’s leadership is once again proving that strength works. While the radical left and RINO warmongers screamed about endless wars, President Trump is forcing our so-called allies to finally pay their fair share instead of freeloading off the U.S. military for decades.

Iran Continues Decades-Long History of Executing Wrestlers

Iran executed 19-year-old freestyle wrestling champion Saleh Mohammadi on March 19, 2026, in a public hanging in Qom alongside Saeed Davoudi and Mehdi Ghasemi. The three had been arrested on December 18, 2025, and charged with moharebeh, waging war against God, in connection with the deaths of two police officers during protests on January 8. The regime frequently applies this capital charge in protest-related cases.

The Islamic Republic has positioned itself as the embodiment of divine governance on earth, a principle established in its constitution through the concept of velayat-e faqih, the guardianship of the Islamic jurist, which holds that the supreme leader rules as the representative of God and the Hidden Imam.

Under this framework, opposition to the state is framed as opposition to God’s ordained order, making moharebeh a charge applied to protesters, dissidents, and political prisoners. The charge carries the death penalty under the Islamic Penal Code of Iran.

Mohammadi turned 19 in prison on March 11 and was sentenced to death by a Qom court on February 4, less than three weeks after his arrest. He told the court his confessions had been extracted under torture. The court disregarded witness testimony from family members and CCTV footage that failed to place him at the scene and denied him independent legal representation.

These were the first announced hangings tied to the December 2025 nationwide protests against the regime. Iran Human Rights has warned that hundreds of detainees face charges that could carry death sentences. Iran executed at least 1,500 people in 2025, making it one of the world’s most prolific executioners after China.

The execution of Mohammadi follows a pattern of executing wrestlers that the Islamic Republic has maintained since its founding. Hooshang Montazeralzohour, a champion wrestler who represented Iran at the 1976 Montreal Olympics and the 1977 Summer Universiade, was arrested in 1981 and executed by firing squad alongside 29 others on charges of PMOI membership.

PMOI stands for the People’s Mujahedin Organization of Iran, also known by its Persian acronym MEK (Mujahedin-e Khalq). It was founded in the 1960s as an opposition group combining Islamist and Marxist ideology and participated in the 1979 revolution against the Shah. It quickly fell out with Khomeini, was banned, and the regime declared membership a capital offense.

Throughout the 1980s, the regime used PMOI membership charges, whether real or fabricated, as the primary legal mechanism to execute political prisoners, including athletes and the tens of thousands killed in the 1988 massacre.

The 1988 massacre, carried out under a fatwa from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini, was the regime’s deadliest single episode of political killing. Death Commissions operated across Iran, targeting primarily PMOI supporters. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch estimate between 2,800 and 5,000 were killed; the PMOI puts the figure at 30,000.

Navid Afkari, born July 22, 1993, became the most internationally recognized of these cases. A Greco-Roman wrestler, he was arrested during the 2018 protests in Shiraz, convicted of murdering a security guard, and executed on September 12, 2020, despite calls for clemency from IOC President Thomas Bach and then-U.S. President Donald Trump.

In a recording smuggled from prison, he stated: “I’ve exhausted all resorts to the justice system of the Islamic Republic. They’ve rejected my requests for a retrial. The Islamic Republic of Iran is about to execute an innocent person.” His brothers Vahid and Habib were sentenced to 54 and 27 years respectively. The family was forced to bury him in secrecy under security supervision in his village near Shiraz.

Sculptor Reza Olia of the National Council of Resistance of Iran created a statue of Afkari, stating: “I offer the statue of the national hero Navid Afkari to the people of Iran.” A memorial to Afkari, surrounded by roses and red flowers, the symbol of the Iranian resistance, was displayed at a Free Iran summit on a rooftop overlooking the U.S. Capitol, attended by Iranian-Americans and addressed by Sen. Marco Rubio.

On the fifth anniversary of the execution, the U.S. State Department stated that Afkari’s case reflects a broader pattern of systematic impunity for torture, forced confessions, and executions carried out without due process.

Saleh Mohammadi’s execution on March 19, 2026, follows the same pattern applied across five decades: athletes are selected as high-profile targets, charged with involvement in the deaths of security personnel, subjected to torture to produce confessions, denied independent counsel, and executed despite international condemnation.

Victor Davis Hanson Puts Iran Operation Into Historic Perspective – Compares Trump to Churchill (VIDEO)
March 19, 2026

Screencap of YouTube video.

Conservative historian and scholar Victor Davis Hanson just put Operation Epic Fury into historic perspective during an appearance on FOX News and compared Trump to Winston Churchill in the process.

Hanson makes the point that when Churchill was trying to warn the world about Germany, he was largely ignored by other leaders and suggests that a similar thing is happening with Trump and Iran.

He also points out that all of Trump’s recent predecessors have said that they wished they had dealt with the problem of Iran while they were in office. The difference is that Trump is actually doing it.

Transcript via Overton News:

HANSON: “In 1939 Churchill had warned everybody about the threat of fascism on the continent…nobody listened to him.”

“Then after the war broke out, nobody called on him and then finally he came in and from May 10th of 1940 he was saying to everybody, these people want to take over the continent.”

“He was the voice in the wilderness.”

“That’s what Trump is trying to do, trying to say to the American Democratic party, what’s left of it, you don’t understand what’s going on here.”

“You Europeans don’t understand, you people in the Middle East don’t fully understand what this regime is about.”

“When people say we did not have an imminent threat, we didn’t have an imminent threat when they took our hostages, when they blew up our barracks.”

“Nobody said we better attack Iran because we need an imminent threat when they blew up our embassy, they always acted spontaneously with surprises and we never knew what they were going to do.”

“The idea you have to have a telegraphed imminent threat, it’s not the nature of that regime.”

“It’s lying, disguise and dissimulation. That’s their pattern for the last 47 years.”

“But nobody’s taken them seriously.”

“Every president’s said we’re going to deal with this, all seven of them and all seven did not.”

“And then all seven of them when they got out of office said I regret that I didn’t”

“He’s the first one that warned the world and said he’s not going to be one of those presidents.”

Watch the video below:

The only reason Democrats are not getting behind this effort is because they do not want Trump to have another victory. They care more about that than they do about America’s national security or peace in the Middle East.

SUCCESS: DHS Celebrates Ten Straight Months of Zero Illegal Aliens Released at the Border
March 19, 2026

During Trump’s 2025 State of the Union address, he pointed out that when it came to closing the southern border, all we really needed was a new president. He was absolutely right.

DHS is pointing out that we are now at ten straight months of zero illegals aliens released at the border.

Remember Joe Biden and Democrats trying to pretend that they needed new legislation in order to do this? It was all a lie. Trump got the job done and didn’t need any of the things Democrats claimed were necessary.

DHS put out this press release:

Tenth Straight Month of Zero Illegal Aliens Released at the Border

Today, the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced its tenth consecutive month of zero releases at the border, continuing its trend of historically low border crossings. February data also showed that CBP recorded its highest single month of drug seizures since October 2021.

“Ten straight months of ZERO illegal aliens released at the border. President Trump promised to secure the Border, and that is a promise we delivered,” said Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. “We have the most secure border in American history. Our borders are CLOSED to lawbreakers.”

“February marks the tenth straight month that U.S. Border Patrol has not released a single illegal alien into the interior of the United States — a clear reflection of the enforcement-first posture restoring integrity to our nation’s borders,” said CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott. “While threats to our national and economic security continue to evolve, so does our resolve to meet them, as we carry out our mission of protecting the homeland while facilitating lawful travel and trade.”

The sustained decline in illegal border crossings and apprehensions—now at levels not seen in over three decades—shows the impact of robust enforcement policies. With daily apprehensions down 95% from the previous administration and 13 consecutive months of fewer than 9,000 southwest border apprehensions, the border remains more secure than at any point in history.

Meanwhile, Democrats continue to push utter nonsense like suggesting that Thomas Paine, a major figure in the American Revolution, was an undocumented immigrant.

Sure, Rep. Raskin. Thomas Paine was just like someone who sneaked across our southern border.

These people are insane.

MSNOW Cutting Some ‘News’ Shows to Focus on Anti-Trump Resistance Programming

MSNOW Cutting Some ‘News’ Shows to Focus on Anti-Trump Resistance Programming
March 19, 2026

MSNBC’s new name will be MSNOW – Screencap of Twitter/X video.

MSNOW, the left wing network formerly known as MSNBC, is dropping the charade of being a ‘news’ network to focus on their real money maker, which is anti-Trump resistance TV shows.

This is actually a smart move for them.

People who watch MSNOW are not going there for news, they watch to have their anti-Trump biases confirmed. They watch to cheer on as the hosts insult Trump and all things Republican.

NewsBusters reported:

Rating MS DOWN? MS NOW Shakes Up Network Line Up, Anchors Out

After being cast out into the wilderness by NBCUniversal last year, things didn’t appear to be going well for the rebranded “MS NOW.” On Wednesday, a shakeup was announced that saw daytime completely reshaped with two anchors losing their seats with at least one already announcing that she had quit, Morning Joe experiencing some shrinkage, while a new face would appear during the 11th Hour, among other shifts.

Going down the line up, first, Morning Joe will be losing an hour. After spending some time at an inflated four hours of Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski shrieking at the camera, the purported preferred morning show for Washington D.C. insiders would be returning to just three hours.

Anchor Stephanie Ruhle will be leaving The 11th Hour and taking over that lost hour from Morning Joe, as well as the following one. Meaning her time slot would be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

One of the more noteworthy line items in the shakeup was Ana Cabrera losing her position as an anchor of the 11a a.m. slot, and her announcement that she would be leaving the company.

FOX News has more details:

MS NOW leans into its liberal identity by rolling back on straight news programs, insiders say

One network insider told Fox News Digital that MS NOW is veering away from the “Andy Lack nonsense” of the editorial programming separations between daytime and primetime, referring to the network’s former chairman during its MSNBC days from 2015-2020.

“Both internally and to the viewer, the distinctions are less clear than they used to be, including the distinctions between perspective and news,” the MS NOW staffer said. “The sort of the general weakening of CNN has caused MS NOW to lean more into what it is and what its viewers like.”

The insider pointed to the success of “Deadline: White House” hosted by Nicolle Wallace, highlighting how her 4 p.m. show earns viewership that rivals the network’s primetime programming.

“What we’re finding is you can achieve that in different parts of the day if you don’t pretend to be CNN for half your lineup,” the MS NOW staffer said. “So, I think what you’re going to be seeing is changes to shows that just seem like news, right?

“The Ana Cabrera, Chris Jansing thing — those are disappearing. I think you’re gonna see that throughout the lineup. Everything’s going to feel a little more MS NOW all the way through.

MSNOW knows which side of their bread is buttered. They’re leaning into the programming that their fans demand.

FOX News still dominates cable news ratings, but as you can see from the numbers below, some shows on MSNOW are pulling in decent returns.

CNN is completely lost.
