President Trump on Wednesday announced on Truth Social that Israel hit a “major facility known as South Pars Gas Field in Iran,” prompting Iran to launch retaliatory attacks on Qatar’s liquid natural gas facility at Ras Laffan Industrial City.

Qatari officials said Iran’s attacks caused “extensive damage” to the area of the world’s largest liquefied natural gas export facility, describing the move as “dangerous escalation, flagrant violation of state sovereignty, and a direct threat to its national security and regional stability.”

Trump’s statement confirms reports that Israel launched the initial attacks on the South Pars gas field.

Per the New York Times:

Iran and Qatar on Wednesday accused Israel of attacking a giant offshore natural gas field that the two countries share, sending the prices of oil and natural gas soaring on what would be a sharp escalation of strikes on energy infrastructure in the war against Iran.

Iran uses most of its natural gas domestically, meaning that the strikes will most likely have a limited effect on the global supply of gas, which is used in power plants, home furnaces and heavy industry. But the attacks signal that the Persian Gulf’s extensive energy facilities may be at growing risk.

Iran’s oil ministry said on social media that airstrikes had damaged a number of its facilities connected to the South Pars gas field. It appeared to be one of the most significant energy sites to be hit since the U.S.-Israeli air war against Iran began nearly three weeks ago.

Iranian state media reported that oil and petrochemical facilities in the southern city of Asaluyeh, a key hub for the country’s energy industry, were also hit by an airstrike.

This sent oil prices surging over $110.

Per CNBC, “Brent crude prices, the international benchmark, surged more than 7% to $111.23 by 4:52 p.m. ET.”

Notably, this comes after Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said the Strait is open to all except “those who are attacking us and their allies” and threatened to attack American energy infrastructure in the Middle East if the US or Israel targets its oil and energy infrastructure. Trump has threatened to attack Iran’s energy infrastructure but suggested he is saving those targets “for later.” He further threatened neighboring Gulf countries, from which missiles are being launched.

Israel recently attacked Iranian oil depots, leading to shock from American officials. War Secretary Pete Hegseth recently told reporters last week that Israel was pursuing “different objectives” in this attack.

And now, Trump says Israel executed another attack, which the US “knew nothing about” and that “Qatar was in no way, shape, or form, involved with it, nor did it have any idea that it was going to happen.”

“Unfortunately, Iran did not know this, or any of the pertinent facts pertaining to the South Pars attack, and unjustifiably and unfairly attacked a portion of Qatar’s LNG Gas facility,” he added. “NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar – In which instance the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before.”

Trump further said he does not “want to authorize this level of violence and destruction because of the long term implications that it will have on the future of Iran.” However, “if Qatar’s LNG is again attacked, I will not hesitate to do so,” he said.

The far-left blue city of Seattle is bleeding businesses as companies flee to locations that don’t charge crazy levels of taxes. As a result, the percentage of empty office buildings in the city has risen to more than a third. That is unbelievable.

And yet, the people who live there just keep voting for leftist political leaders who only make the problem worse. Mayors are supposed to try to attract businesses to their cities, not cause them to run away to other locations.

As technology allows more and more companies to have remote employees, the competition among cities is only going to become more fierce.

Seattle’s downtown office market is facing one of the steepest declines in the nation.

According to a new CoStar analysis, Seattle leads the country in falling office rents, with vacancies hitting record highs. Experts warn the slump could reshape Seattle’s commercial real estate, cutting into property values and city tax revenues while raising questions about the future of downtown.

“Though the amount of space available to lease has leveled off latelydue to planned demolitions and conversions removing someproperties from the market, the region’s vacancy rate continues torise more quickly than that of the rest of the country,” the analysis found. “Seattle’s officevacancy rate stands at 17.3% and is projected to peak at 18.3% in 2026.”

According to the study, the steepest drops in office space usage occurred in Seattle’s downtown, Belltown, and Queen Anne neighborhoods. Some suburban locations managed flat-to-slightly positive rent growth, but this growth has done little to offset the broader downward trend.

But the study also believes office vacancies throughout Seattle can improve over time.

“The leveling off of availability signals a likely improvement in vacancy rates in the near future,” the study shared.

Things are not likely to improve. In fact, it could get much worse. Watch below as Glenn Beck talks about how Seattle now wants to tax the owners of empty office buildings for the crime of being empty.

If they actually do this, it will make the problem far worse.

Glenn is right about all of this. If Seattle wants to reverse this trend, they have to make the city attractive to businesses, not punish the owners of office buildings for the faults of the city.

Comedian and podcaster Adam Carolla recently called out the hypocritical left over their selective hatred and how they decide who to hate based solely on how people feel about President Trump.

Carolla focused mainly on Elon Musk and RFK Jr., noting that both men were beloved by people on the left for years and only became objects of leftist hatred after they began working with Trump.

This actually happens all the time. If someone on the right suddenly doesn’t like Trump anymore (looking at you MTG) they are suddenly presented as heroes on CNN and MSNOW.

Carolla really nails this.

Comedian Adam Carolla said the left’s about-face on Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Elon Musk showed they were dishonest brokers during a Monday episode of “The Adam Carolla Show.”

Kennedy and Musk have both faced harsh attacks from the left since they aligned with President Donald Trump. Carolla noted on his show that both men had histories of championing traditionally left-wing causes.

“The two biggest tells from the retards on the left is … Kennedy Jr. and Elon Musk. That’s how I know you guys are lying and you have Trump derangement syndrome and we never have to fucking listen to you ever again,” Carolla said. “Because … both guys formerly darlings of the left and the Democrats. One’s a Kennedy, by the way, who made his bones suing Monsanto and all these other big chemical companies and defense contractors and Union Carbide for polluting the environment.”

“So this guy, I mean, you want to talk about a guy who was built in a Democratic pop-a-boner lab, you have a guy with the last name Kennedy, so he already comes from royalty,” he continued. “And he makes his life work suing huge corporations that pollute the environment. So, you love this guy. The other guy invents an electric car, which you love. So, you love Kennedy and you love Elon Musk. And nothing bad was ever said about any of these guys.”

Democrat Party mouthpiece Jon Stewart is clearly beginning to get nervous about the governor race in California this year. He made that clear during a recent conversation with one of the many Democrats running for the job.

In California, they have a system where the two top primary vote-getting candidates rise to the final election. That could mean a Democrat vs. a Republican, or it could mean two candidates of the same party.

This year, there are so many Democrats running that they could end up completely fracturing the Democrat vote and sending two Republicans to the final race, which would be absolutely hilarious.

Naturally, Jon Stewart is terrified of this prospect.

Comedian and The Daily Show host Jon Stewart is worried that there are too many Democrat candidates in the race for California Governor and the left’s crowded field will allow a Republican to sneak in and win the race.

Stewart invited San Jose’s Democrat Mayor Matt Mahan onto his show to talk about his race for California governor this year, and when Stewart asked Mahan why he is running for the Golden State’s top office, the mayor reeled off a one-liner in reply, Fox News reported.

“Well, Jon, I just didn’t think enough people were running for governor,” Mahan joked…

“So there are like, two or three Republicans running and like, eight or nine or 10 or 11, or 20 Democrats?” Stewart said exaggerating just a bit. “It’s a great plan, and it so smacks of the Democratic Party to split the vote into such fractious fiefdoms that the only two people standing are the two Republicans.”

“So smart, so typical!” Stewart added.

Mahan then added that so far “undecided” is beating all the candidates, which made Stewart’s funk even worse.

How satisfying would it be to see Republicans take control of California in a year when the left is convinced that they’re going to flip Texas blue?

The fact is that California desperately needs new leadership. The state is bleeding population for the first time in history, their taxes are the highest in the country, and people are still struggling to rebuild from fires that happened over a year ago. Electing another Democrat governor at this point is only going to make things worse.

During a recent public appearance, New York’s Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul admitted that the state is in dire straits due to the fact that so many wealthy people have fled to other places. She is begging them to come back and help fund the state’s ‘generous’ welfare programs.

One of the main points of separating the country into states was to inspire competition. The idea was that states that delivered more for less would benefit from increased population and the tax dollars that went with it.

Hochul is admitting that New York is losing this race. Red states like Texas and Florida do not need to beg people to move there. People do it voluntarily because it’s a better deal for their hard work and tax dollars.

Politico reports:

A state budget fight over raising taxes on rich people and corporations is becoming a litmus test for how power is wielded in the Empire State’s capital — and pitting Gov. Kathy Hochul against New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Democratic state lawmakers this week formally proposed tax hikes that Hochul does not want, but are central to the democratic socialist mayor’s costly agenda…

The governor on Wednesday told POLITICO she wants “a system in place where it’s not just taxing for the sake of taxing” and to avoid further erosion of New York’s wealthy tax base.

“I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs that we have in our state,” she said.

In other words, Kathy Hochul is already running out of other people’s money.

It’s the same thing we see happening to California. You can only tax people at an extremely high rate without delivering for so long. Eventually, people are going to pack up and move to a state that charges lower taxes and delivers more services and freedom.

Hochul’s biggest problem right now is NYC Mayor Mamdani. Just as she is begging people to return to the state, Mamdani is doing everything he can to raise taxes on people living in the city. That’s just going to drive more people away.
