A young NASCAR driver was indefinitely suspended for using a “gay voice” to mock another driver during a livestream.

22-year-old Daniel Dye was forced to apologize for ‘homophobic’ and ‘disparaging’ comments.

On Tuesday evening, Daniel Dye was penalized for ridiculing fellow driver David Malukas.

NASCAR.com reported:

Daniel Dye has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR after insensitive comments made during a recent livestream, officials announced Tuesday evening.

Dye, driver of the No. 10 Kaulig Racing Ram in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, was penalized under Section 4.3.C in the NASCAR Rule Book, which states in part, “NASCAR Members shall not make … a public statement or communication that criticizes, ridicules, or otherwise disparages another person based upon that person’s race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, or handicapping condition.”

Dye was discussing his experience around NTT IndyCar Series driver David Malukas while opening trading cards on a recent livestream, during which the 22-year-old Dye used language that officials deemed unacceptable, resulting in Tuesday’s suspension. Dye must complete sensitivity training before he may return to competition.

Kaulig Racing also announced in a statement that the team has suspended Dye effective immediately “after becoming aware (Tuesday) of comments he made on social media.”

AJ Allmendinger was later announced as the fill-in driver for Friday’s race at Darlington Raceway (7:30 p.m. ET, FS1, NRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). Allmendinger, who drives full-time for Kaulig in the Cup Series, has 14 career starts in the Truck Series, with his last coming in 2021 at Watkins Glen International for GMS Racing.

Daniel Dye was later forced to apologize to the LGBTQ community.

“I chose my words poorly and I understand why it upset people,” Daniel Dye wrote in a statement.

“I’m sorry to anyone who was offended. That’s now I want to represent myself,” he said.

“I have some close friends in the LBGT+ community who would never want to feel less of themselves because of what I said, and that’s exactly why I should hold myself to a higher standard,” he added.

According to Semafor, Joe Kent, the top counterterrorism official who just resigned in protest of the Iran war, is under FBI investigation for leaking classified information.

The investigation predates Kent’s departure, Semafor’s White House correspondent reported.

Joe Kent resigned on Tuesday and said the US started the war against Iran due to pressure from Israel.

“After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today,” Joe Kent said.

“I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran,” he said.

“Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby,” he said.

“As a veteran who deployed to combat 11 times and as a Gold Star husband who lost my beloved wife Shannon in a war manufactured by Israel, I cannot support sending the next generation off to fight and die in a war that serves no benefit to the American people nor justifies the cost of American lives,” he added.

President Trump was asked about Joe Kent’s resignation during an Oval Office meeting with the Taoiseach of Ireland, Micheál Martin.

“I always thought he was weak on security. Very weak on security,” Trump said.

“I didn’t know him well. But I thought he seemed like a pretty nice guy,” he said.

“But when I read his statement, I realized that it’s a good thing he’s out because he said Iran was not a threat,” Trump added.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) is now openly calling for Republicans to ram the SAVE America Act through reconciliation, a legislative maneuver that would allow passage with just 50 votes plus the Vice President.

Budget reconciliation is a special parliamentary process in the U.S. Senate that allows for the expedited passage of legislation regarding spending, revenue, or the debt limit, requiring only a simple majority (51 votes or 50 + Vice President) rather than the 60 votes usually needed to overcome a filibuster.

Created by the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, this process is limited to budget-related matters and cannot be used for general policy changes.

Although under the “Byrd Rule,” provisions must have a direct impact on the budget. “Extraneous” items that do not significantly impact spending or revenue are forbidden and can be stripped out.

Kennedy’s remarks come as frustration boils over among conservatives who have watched the critical election integrity bill stall despite growing national concern over voter confidence and election security.

Kennedy laid out the battle plan in crystal-clear terms:

Sen. Kennedy:
“I think we are, Mr. President—I know you are—we need to try to pass this legislation through reconciliation.

Now, you know how reconciliation works, Mr. President. It means we can pass this bill with 50 Republican votes and the Vice President to break the tie. That’s how we passed the one big, beautiful bill. I would hope to get some of my Democratic friends to support us, but we don’t have to have them.

That’s harder than I described because, as you know, Mr. President, there are parameters on reconciliation.

Anything you propose through reconciliation has to be paid for. We can find the money to pay for it. And anything you pass through reconciliation has to conform with the contours of the Budget Control Act. We call that giving a provision a “birdbath.”

And our parliamentarian decides what passes muster under the Budget Control Act and what doesn’t.

Now, we’ve got a lot of smart lawyers in the United States Senate. Every single one of them thinks they’re ‘Oliver Wendell Scalia.’

But we’ve got a lot of other smart lawyers in America. Here’s what I’m getting at: we have yet to try going to these smart lawyers—some in the Senate and some, believe it or not, not in the Senate—and saying, “Craft us a SAVE Act that will pass muster under the Budget Control Act and can be blessed by the parliamentarian.”

And some of my colleagues—those ‘Oliver Wendell Scalia types’—they say, “Kennedy, you know you’ll never be able to do that.”

They don’t know. I’ve been here 10 years. I’ve seen things pass muster—survive a birdbath—that I didn’t think had a hope in hell. And I’ve seen provisions fail the parliamentarian’s judgment under a birdbath that I thought were slam dunks.

You don’t know until you try, and we haven’t tried. And if this bill is as important as everybody says it is—and I think it is—because we’re not just talking about voting, we’re talking about the confidence, the trust of the American people in our elections— If this bill is as important as we say it is, we should try it through reconciliation.”

Democrat Senator Alex Padilla (CA) walked away as a reporter questioned him about the O’Keefe Media Group’s undercover cash for ballots video on Skid Row.

The O’Keefe Media Group on Tuesday released part one of its investigation into a California elections fraud cash for ballots scheme.

James O’Keefe and his team of journalists went undercover on Skid Row in Los Angeles, posing as homeless people.

‘Petitioners’ told the undercover journalists that they are paid between $7-$10 per signature. Some of them earn up to $1,000 per day.

“California NGOs Encourage Fake Addresses To Homeless People To Sign Petitions & Register Voters, A State & Federal Felony. Footage Shows 28 Instances Of Cash Changing Hands For Ballot Signatures & Voter Registration Forms,” they said.

“Many of the petitioners had no understanding of the petitions’ purpose they were advertising. Circulators also instructed individuals to use fake addresses. “Oh, you can just fake an address.”” OMG reported.

“Weingart Center, which received hundreds of millions in public funding, is on tape directing people to where the fraudulent petitioners are located, and directing homeless individuals to petitioners & coaching plausible deniability,” OMG said.

One petitioner impersonated a police officer and appeared to threaten James O’Keefe.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, LA DA Nathan Hochman, the California Secretary of State’s office and Governor Newsom have all confirmed they are aware of O’Keefe’s undercover sting.

A Lindell TV reporter caught up with California’s Democrat Senator Alex Padilla and asked him for comment on James O’Keefe’s video.

Padilla ignored the Lindell TV reporter and scurried up the steps.

Padilla’s handlers tried to block the reporter from asking simple questions about rampant voter fraud in California.

A major investigation by The New York Times has raised child asexual abuse allegations against Cesar Chavez, the leftist labor activist long celebrated as a civil rights figure.

The report outlines claims from multiple women who say Chavez abused them while they were minors during the 1970s, when he was at the height of his national influence.

Two women, Ana Murguia and Debra Rojas, allege they were targeted as young teenagers while their families were closely involved in the United Farm Workers, the organization Chavez co-founded.

Both described a pattern of manipulation and abuse, they say, that continued over a number of years.

According to the investigation, their accounts are supported by interviews with more than 60 individuals, as well as internal union records, emails, photographs, and archival materials.

The report suggests the allegations were not isolated incidents but part of a broader pattern of behavior involving women connected to the movement:

Ms. Rojas said she was 12 when Mr. Chavez first touched her inappropriately, groping her breasts in the same office where he’d meet with Ms. Murguia.

When Ms. Rojas was 15, he arranged to have her stay at a motel during a weekslong march through California, she said, and had sexual intercourse with her — rape, under state law, because she was not old enough to consent. (Ms. Murguia said Mr. Chavez molested her but never had intercourse with her.)

The abuse allegations appear to be part of a larger pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Chavez, much of which has never been publicly revealed.

The Times investigation found that Mr. Chavez also used many of the women who worked and volunteered in his movement for his own sexual gratification.

In a separate allegation, his close ally and longtime activist Dolores Huerta said Chavez assaulted her in the 1960s.

“Unfortunately, he used some of his great leadership to abuse women and children; it’s really awful,” she said.

“I can no longer stay silent and must share my own experiences.”

Dolores Huerta, the labor activist who co-founded the United Farm Workers with Cesar Chavez, said Wednesday she was “manipulated and pressured into having sex” with him.

The United Farm Workers has since announced it will cancel events honoring Chavez, describing the allegations as “profoundly shocking.”

The organization said it would take time to review the claims and ensure support is available for those affected.

Public officials have also begun reassessing Chavez’s legacy. Streets, schools, and institutions bearing his name are now under review in several states as pressure builds for a broader re-evaluation.

Chavez, who died in 1993, remains one of the most prominent figures in modern American left-wing activism.

As co-founder of the United Farm Workers, he led high-profile strikes and national boycotts that brought widespread attention to the conditions of agricultural laborers across the United States.

Over time, his image became heavily institutionalised through school names, public holidays, and political recognition, cementing his status as a central figure in progressive politics.

He was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton and has been widely honored by Democratic leaders, including having his likeness displayed in the Oval Office.
