The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft joined Grant Stinchfield on Real America’s Voice on Friday night to discuss the likelihood that the weak Republican senators will pass the Save America Act.

It is truly shocking that 84% of the country, both Republicans and Democrats, approve of voter ID in elections.

Infographic highlighting public support for voter ID laws, featuring statistics from Harvard, Pew Research, Gallup, and Rasmussen on bipartisan favorability.

This isn’t good enough for the Republican Senators.

It is hard to believe we are watching this happen in front of our eyes.

These weak individuals should not be in government.

Grant Stinchfield: I don’t know what you think about my declaration, but Jim, this is not getting passed. I don’t see how it happens. I don’t think we have any fighters in the Senate. I don’t think they’re going to take it up. Please tell me I’m wrong, Jim. I beg you to tell me I’m wrong.

Jim Hoft: Well, I wish I could, Grant, but I’m right there with you. I don’t see this passing, and it’s not because they can’t, it’s because they don’t have the will. And Senator Thune, who is the majority leader there, the more he talks, the more, you know, I just— my jaw drops to the floor. I can’t believe what a weakling this guy is. He should be voted out of the majority leader role. He also should be voted out of the Senate. This guy’s a disgrace. I’m— I, you know, this is a— like you showed earlier, Grant, this is an issue that has 84% of the American public – Not just Republicans. This is all Americans, 84%. You can’t find an issue that has more agreement among the American people. And yet these weak Republicans can’t find a way to pass it. It’s a disgrace. I’m outraged. I’m at the point, you know, and I know a lot of Republicans are, where we’re thinking, why are we voting for these guys? They don’t do a thing that we ask them to do.

Young man in a dark sweater sitting at a desk, appearing thoughtful during a recorded interview, with a gray background and timestamp visible.
Nate Cavanaugh, a member of Elon Musk’s DOGE Small Agencies Team, testifies during a January 23, 2026 deposition about how he flagged National Endowment for the Humanities grants tied to DEI and LGBTQ themes for termination under President Trump’s executive orders.

A former member of Elon Musk’s government efficiency team is going viral online after explaining how he helped identify and flag “DEI” grants for termination during his time working inside the federal bureaucracy.

This comes after a massive batch of discovery materials released last week pulled back the curtain on how President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) moved rapidly to protect American taxpayer dollars.

The documents, stemming from a desperate lawsuit filed by left-wing academic groups, reveal the extent of DOGE’s “Small Agencies Team” in gutting the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), terminating a staggering 97 percent of the agency’s grants, according to Inside Higher Ed.

For decades, the NEH has served as a slush fund for far-left activists masquerading as “scholars.” That ended last January when President Trump signed a series of executive orders to shut off the tap for “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI), gender ideology, and radical environmentalism.

And leading the charge was one of Musk’s sharpest DOGE warriors – 28-year-old tech entrepreneur and patriot Nate Cavanaugh, co-founder of Special, who oversaw small agencies including the NEH.

Cavanaugh, who helped gut 97% of the agency’s grants and slashed 65% of its bloated staff in record time, didn’t hold back in his January 2026 deposition. A viral video of the exchange is blowing up on social media.

In the deposition, a sniveling attorney tried the guilt trip:

ATTORNEY: You don’t regret that people might have lost important income to support their lives?

NATE CAVANAUGH: No. I think it was more important to reduce the federal deficit from $2 trillion to close to zero.

ATTORNEY: Did you reduce the federal deficit?

NATE CAVANAUGH: No, we didn’t.

Classic. The left wants you crying over “lost income” for activists pushing prison abolition and queer theory, while Americans are $36 trillion in debt. Cavanaugh’s response? Priorities.

Then it gets even better. They showed him the “craziest” grants he and colleague Justin Fox flagged:

One: “This is a history of the HIV/AIDS prison movement and its legacies in the United States. My book project narrates how activists fought the convergence of HIV/AIDS and incarceration… and argues that this organizing holds legacies in the prison abolition movement… feminist and queer insights… LGBTQ studies.”

ATTORNEY: Why did you identify this as one of the craziest grants?

NATE CAVANAUGH: Um, because it references, um, feminist and queer insights into prison abolition and LGBTQ studies.

ATTORNEY: Any other reasons?

NATE CAVANAUGH: No.

Another: “Examining Military Service from the Margins: The Complicated Service Discussion Series will bring together veterans and community members to examine the experiences of service members who identify themselves as female, Black, Native American, LGBTQ, or an immigrant, and the dynamics, reasoning, and strength behind serving a country that does not always serve you in return.”

NATE CAVANAUGH: Yes… because it explicitly says LGBTQ.

The attorney kept pushing: Do you have any history in scholarly peer review?

NATE CAVANAUGH: No.

ATTORNEY: So this judgment call was made by you and your personal judgment… to cancel grants based on DEI?

NATE CAVANAUGH: Yes.

Then the killer line, the one proving these 20-something DOGE warriors have more sense than decades of D.C. bureaucrats:

ATTORNEY: Do you think it’s inappropriate in any way that someone in their 20s with no experience with grants or federal government was making personal judgment calls?

NATE CAVANAUGH: No, I don’t think it’s inappropriate.

ATTORNEY: Why not?

NATE CAVANAUGH: I think a person can have enough judgment from reading books and being well-informed outside of traditional experience to make judgment calls about obvious things like a grant that literally lists DEI in its description to know whether it violates an executive order.

ATTORNEY: What books would you have read that would have informed your opinion…?

NATE CAVANAUGH: There were no books.

MIC DROP. No need for woke indoctrination manuals when you can read plain English and spot taxpayer-funded degeneracy a mile away.

Crash Between Car and Fuel Tanker Sparks Massive Fire on I-471 in Kentucky — Children Hospitalized, Highway Shut Down
March 14, 2026

Fire and smoke engulf a roadway at night, with flames visible and emergency lights illuminating the scene.

A terrifying late-night crash in Northern Kentucky turned a major interstate into an inferno Friday evening after a passenger car collided with a fuel tanker, triggering a massive fireball that shut down the entire highway and sent three people, including two children, to the hospital.

The fiery crash occurred around 10:10 p.m. Friday on Interstate-471 southbound near the Memorial Parkway exit in Newport, according to local officials, WLWT reported.

Authorities say the collision caused the fuel tanker to overturn, spilling its highly flammable contents onto the roadway.

The fuel quickly ignited, sending towering flames and thick black smoke into the night sky as emergency crews rushed to the scene.

According to a statement from the City of Newport, two children, ages 6 and 12, were transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with minor injuries following the crash.

An adult woman who was traveling in the car was also hospitalized with minor injuries.

The tanker driver, a 47-year-old man, was treated at the scene and released. Officials reported no additional injuries.

WLWT reported:

Officials said the flames traveled through the highway drainage system to the sewer below, but no significant damage was reported.

All lanes on Interstate-471 have been closed as fire crews responded to the scene and will remain closed as crews clean up the area.

Campbell County Emergency Management, state highway officials and many other departments responded to the scene.

March 14, 2026

RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) on Wednesday flat-out admitted she won’t vote for the SAVE America Act, adopting Democrat talking points and claiming the bill would disenfranchise voters in her state.

Murkowski is one of the 25 GOP Senators who are not on record supporting a “standing filibuster” to pass the SAVE Act. RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune refuses to whip the votes from Republican Senators to support a standing filibuster and pass the SAVE America Act.

The SAVE America Act, “as it’s drafted,” she says, “is gonna disenfranchise an extraordinary majority.”

While I support citizenship voting and voting ID, I wanna make sure that it’s implementable.”

Lindell TV reporter Alison Steinberg confronted Murkowski earlier this week.

WATCH:

Steinberg: Where do you stand on the SAVE America Act? Do you support getting this legislation passed to protect our elections?

Murkowski: Uh, not as it is drafted, no.

Steinberg: Why not?

Murkowski: The implementation in a rural state like Alaska is gonna disenfranchise an extraordinary majority, and while I support citizenship voting and voting ID, I wanna make sure that it’s implementable.

However, the implementation of the SAVE Act, summarized, is no ID, no vote.

The Act requires voters to have just one of the following in order to register:

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Steinberg also confronted RINO John Cornyn over his “pro-amnesty, red flag laws, anti-border law” record, and Cornyn lost it, accusing her of “being paid by the Paxton campaign!”

“I’m just a concerned American citizen representing millions of other Americans,” she responded before Conrnyn attacked her again. “You’re a paid influencer because none of that’s true, and you know it,” he said.

Actor Nick Offerman Attacks Co-Star Dennis Quaid as ‘Crazy’ for Not Hiding His Trump Support

Actor Nick Offerman Attacks Co-Star Dennis Quaid as ‘Crazy’ for Not Hiding His Trump Support
March 14, 2026

Speaker discussing topics on stage, wearing glasses and a plaid shirt, with a microphone in hand and a can of beverage nearby.

Actor Nick Offerman couldn’t believe one of his own would dare support President Donald Trump.

Offerman — known for his role as Ron Swanson on “Parks and Recreation” — recently sat down with “Lovett or Leave It” host Jon Lovett to discuss his 2025 film “Sovereign,” which centers around a father and son who find themselves at odds with a police chief.

According to IMDb, Offerman plays father Jerry Kane, with his co-star Dennis Quaid taking on the role of Chief John Bouchart.

On the topic of Quaid, Offerman brought up the former’s politics — his pro-Trump politics — with Lovett.

“He unfortunately is a crazy Trump guy with a Gospel record.”

“In the film or real life?” Lovett quipped. “In real life.”

“Right after we finished the movie, he suddenly came out with a Gospel country record and went on Tucker Carlson and f***ing Hannity to, like, play his Trump Gospel songs. And we were like, ‘What?’ He’s a hero of my life, I’ve looked up to him. He’s a great actor,” Offerman said.

“Dennis, like, kept it under wraps until last year.”

Offerman is acting like Quaid revealed he used to be a serial killer or a cult leader.

Per American Songwriter, Quaid did release a Gospel album, “Fallen: A Gospel Record for Sinners” last July, and has done interviews with Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity in 2024.

Offerman’s comments are indicative of his — and Hollywood’s — level of insulation from the outside world.

Living and working in the liberal bubble, he’s baffled someone he works with and admires could support Trump.

The timing here is noteworthy. According to Fayetteville Flyer, “Sovereign” was in production in February 2024. This was an election year.

Moreover, it was the same year Quaid starred in “Reagan,” a biopic about the 40th president, a Republican.

Quaid, like so many others that year, did not hide his politics as there was a more widespread acceptance — or in the least tolerance — of anyone pro-Trump.

Playing arguably the most beloved Republican president in recent memory likely had Quaid answering questions about his own positions just as Trump was trying to return to office — the Hannity interview addressed just that.

Offerman acts like a shockwave just hit him, but he might want to get used to it.

As leftist insanity continues to warp the Democratic Party into a less serious, outright deranged alternative, he’s likely to have more co-stars doing the same.
