CrimethInc., an extremely far-left decentralized Antifa anarchist collective, has launched its annual “Steal Something from Work Day” campaign with a new article openly encouraging workplace theft, and a special focus on nurses pocketing medical supplies to support “community defense” against federal immigration enforcement.

The April 15 post titled “Steal Something from Work Day 2026: Why Nurses Steal to Save Lives” frames employee theft as a “moderate option” in response to what the group calls intensified capitalist exploitation under the second Trump administration.

The article contrasts everyday workplace theft with more extreme tactics such as warehouse burnings and direct attacks on employers.

CrimethInc. has promoted the event for more than a decade, designating April 15, traditionally Tax Day, as a worldwide day of symbolic resistance.

The group maintains a dedicated site at stealfromwork.crimethinc.com and has made posters, pamphlets, and annual articles encouraging workers to “steal something from work” as a form of covert protest and wealth redistribution.

In the 2026 edition, the collective presents anonymous testimonies from two nurses who describe routinely taking medical supplies from hospitals.

One nurse in Minnesota explains using stolen items, including speculums, gauze, alcohol swabs, and other supplies, to build “medic packs” for protesters confronting ICE operations in the Twin Cities.

The nurse justifies the theft as “harm reduction” and “community defense,” referencing the deaths of anti-ICE agitators Renee Good and Alex Pretti as they attempted to impede immigration enforcement operations.

The nurse wrote:

“I liberate out of love, I expropriate in the name of harm reduction, I ‘steal’ in the name of all of the people killed by the state of so-called Minnesota. I take in hope that these medical items can help to save or ease the lives of community members, so we don’t have to experience once again the trauma we experienced when we lost Alex, Nicole, Amir Locke, Winston Boogie Smith, Philando Castile, George Floyd, and too many others. Death at the hands of the state is so pervasive and the price of medical supplies is just too damn high.”

The article divides nurse theft into four categories: medical supplies for community support, household items for personal or mutual-aid use, worker solidarity actions (such as sharing medications or covering shifts), and “stealing for patients” by providing extra or uncharged supplies.

It criticizes hospital executives for high salaries while nurses face low wages and workplace violence, citing examples such as saline bags costing pennies to produce but billed at hundreds of dollars.

CrimethInc. also endorses “time theft,” extending breaks or clocking out late, as long as it does not interfere with direct patient care, writing:

“When it comes to being good, don’t be afraid to be bad.”

The piece claims that “good people” can do harm through compliance with the system, while “bad” actions like theft can save lives by countering corporate greed. It repeatedly ties the campaign to broader anarchist organizing against ICE in Minnesota.

Workplace theft remains a criminal offense under state and federal law, regardless of political framing.

In September, President Donald Trump signed an executive order designating Antifa as a “domestic terrorist organization.”

The order described Antifa as “a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law” and stated that its pattern of political violence justified the designation.

Brazilian activist Thiago Avila is causing yet another scandal in the new, shady ‘Freedom Flotilla’ to Gaza.

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and her ‘Freedom Flotilla’ are back in the news for all the wrong reasons.

The boats have set sail from Barcelona last Sunday for another support voyage to Gaza, and are already shaken by yet another scandal, after one of its radical leaders is accused of ‘sexual misconduct’ with ‘at least three volunteers’.

Controversies are nothing new; in fact, since the flotilla has been accused of the use of recreational drugs, and last year, famously, the Islamist extremists clashed with the LGBT activists, leading Thunberg to resign from her leadership role.

And while some may be tempted to say this is nothing but Israeli propaganda, the allegations actually come from a Palestinian group.

Newly released text messages and court filings detail explicit communications between former U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema and her married Senate bodyguard, Matthew Ammel, including a request that he bring the drug MDMA on a work trip so she could “guide him through a psychedelic experience,” a photo of Sinema wrapped only in a towel, and the politician being confronted by his lover’s wife.

The messages were revealed in ongoing court documents in an alienation-of-affection lawsuit filed by Heather Ammel, Matthew Ammel’s estranged wife.

Heather Ammel discovered the exchanges on her husband’s phone and later confronted Sinema directly, according to filings obtained by TMZ.

One message from Sinema to Matthew read, “I miss you. Putting my hand on your heart.” Heather responded to Sinema, “Are you having an affair with my husband? You took a married man away from his family.”

TMZ reports:

Heather said before Kyrsten ruined her marriage, she had a “good and loving marriage and genuine love” with her husband.

She said after Matthew took a 2023 trip with Kyrsten — in his role as her bodyguard — he appeared “uncomfortable.”

She recalled meeting Kyrsten at a U2 concert while with Matthew. Heather said the politician told her, “I feel like I already know you, because I’ve heard so much about you from Matt.”

She said she personally witnessed Matthew receive texts from Kyrsten, including one that had a photo of Kyrsten “wrapped in a towel.” She says the picture “showed her bare upper back with cupping bruises.” In another alleged message, Heather said Krysten asked Matthew to bring MDMA (aka molly or ecstacy) on a work trip, so “she could guide him through a psychedelic experience.”

Heather said the former senator also texted her husband during Biden’s State of the Union address to say she wasn’t attending, because “she didn’t need to listen to some old man, President Biden, talk about the legislation that she wrote.”

She also claims Matthew and Kyrsten “messaged about having sex missionary style with the lights on[.]”

The lawsuit, filed in late 2025 and moved to federal court in North Carolina in January, accuses Sinema of intentionally interfering in the Ammels’ 14-year marriage.

Heather Ammel claims Sinema pursued the relationship, sent romantic and “lascivious” messages via Signal, showered her husband with gifts, and contributed to the marriage’s breakdown.

The lawsuit seeks more than $25,000 in damages.

Sinema has admitted in a sworn declaration filed in March that the relationship “became romantic and intimate” at the end of May 2024 while Matthew Ammel was on her security detail in Sonoma, California.

She said the relationship became physically intimate over the following months in California, New York City, Washington, D.C., Aspen, Colorado, and Phoenix, Arizona.

The Ammels separated in November 2024 and later divorced.

Sinema’s attorneys have filed a motion to dismiss the case, arguing the North Carolina court lacks personal jurisdiction because Sinema has no significant ties to the state.

In her declaration, Sinema denies sending the towel photo or any message about bringing MDMA. Her legal team maintains that any communications occurred after the marriage had already ended or while Ammel was no longer living with his wife.

On Friday, Heather Ammel’s attorneys filed new documents challenging Sinema’s motion to dismiss, urging the federal judge to keep the case alive.

Sinema left the Senate in 2025 after announcing she would not seek re-election. She has not issued any public statement on the latest text message revelations.

The case remains pending in U.S. District Court in North Carolina. No trial date has been set, and Sinema’s motion to dismiss is still under consideration by the judge.

While speaking at a political event in Phoenix and later on social media, Trump made clear that he had rejected a recent offer of assistance from NATO regarding security in the Strait of Hormuz. The strategic waterway, which handles roughly one-fifth of global oil shipments, had been disrupted for weeks during the ongoing war in Iran.

“Now that the Hormuz Strait situation is almost over, I received a call from NATO asking if we would like some help,” Trump said. “I told them I would have liked your help two months ago, but now I don’t want your help anymore.”

Going even further, the president described the bloc as “absolutely useless when we needed them.”

“We have to rely on ourselves,” he said, adding that America cannot “rely on outside countries and sources.”

Trump also pointed to the alliance’s financial dimension, noting that the United States has spent enormous sums in support of NATO over the years. “We’ve spent close to a trillion dollars…” We’re always helping them,” he added, reinforcing his longstanding critique of the bloc’s deeply imbalanced burden-sharing.

Starmer, for his part, has described the effort as a “peaceful and defensive” operation designed to reassure global markets and maintain the flow of trade. However, the initiative quite notably excludes direct US participation, underscoring the growing divergence between Washington and its allies.

Macron emphasized that the mission would be “neutral” and independent from the broader conflict, a stance that appears intended to distance Europe from the escalation led by the United States. Military planners are expected to meet in London to develop operational details.

Still, questions remain about Europe’s actual capacity to deliver on such ambitions. Analysts have pointed out that European naval forces are limited, with few countries able to commit significant assets to sustained operations in the region.

The United Kingdom, for example, has deployed only a single major warship, while France—despite possessing the EU’s most capable military—has committed a modest number of vessels. Other nations, including Germany and Italy, have signaled willingness to contribute but claim to face legal and logistical constraints.

Within Europe, there is disagreement over whether the United States should play a role in any future mission. Some leaders have argued that American involvement remains essential, while others have suggested that a European-led approach would reduce the risk of further escalation.

Such discussions for Trump, however, appear beside the point. In a characteristically blunt post, he dismissed NATO outright, writing that he told the alliance to “stay away” unless it intended to “load up their ships with oil.”
