Republican Rep. Eric Burlison, who is on the House Oversight Committee, is demanding a full federal investigation into a disturbing wave of deaths and disappearances involving top U.S. scientists working on classified aerospace, defense, and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP/UFO) programs, calling the pattern “too coincidental” to ignore.

Burlison told Fox & Friends on Friday morning that his office had been tracking the cases for over a year.

The congressman stressed that the scientists had access to highly sensitive information and many reported feeling threatened before vanishing or turning up dead.

“This is too coincidental, and so we have to be investigating this,” Burlison said. “We need to have our nation’s top investigators, the FBI, and every agency looking into this matter.”

President Donald Trump announced Thursday that his administration is already reviewing the cases.

The list now stands at 11 high-level researchers. Many left behind phones, wallets, and other devices when they disappeared, a detail Burlison called highly unusual for individuals in national security roles.

The latest name drawing attention is Amy Eskridge, a 34-year-old aerospace researcher from Huntsville, Alabama, who died on June 11, 2022.

Authorities initially ruled her death a suicide by self-inflicted gunshot wound, but the case is now being re-examined due to the emerging pattern.

Eskridge was president of The Institute for Exotic Science, a company which she founded specifically to create a “public-facing persona” for disclosing anti-gravity technology and related breakthroughs.

She had been researching advanced propulsion systems, gravity modification, and topics involving UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

According to a report from the New York Post, in a 2020 interview, Eskridge explicitly warned that she felt escalating threats and said she needed to go public soon for her own safety.

“I need to disclose soon, man. I need to publish soon because it’s like escalating. It’s getting more and more aggressive,” Eskridge said.

“This has been going on for like four or five years, and over the past 12 months, it’s been escalating, like more aggressive, more invasive digging through my underwear drawer and sexual threats.”

She told associates that going public was safer than keeping the work private, stating, “If you stick your neck out in private… they will bury you, they will burn down your house while you’re sleeping in your bed and it won’t even make the news.”

Retired British intelligence officer Franc Milburn, who partnered with Eskridge to investigate the harassment, submitted findings to Congress in 2023.

Milburn concluded her death was not a suicide and alleged she had been subjected to multiple physical and psychological attacks, including a suspected “directed energy weapon” incident that caused microwave burns on her body, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

Eskridge’s father, Richard Eskridge, is a longtime NASA plasma physicist, adding another layer of high-level scientific connections to the case.

Other cases in the growing list include:

• Air Force Maj. Gen. William “Neil” McCasland, who disappeared from his Albuquerque, New Mexico home on February 27, 2026, after leaving all devices behind. He had previously been contacted about UAP research and appeared in WikiLeaks Podesta emails tied to UFO discussions.
• Melissa Casias and Anthony Chavez, both linked to Los Alamos National Laboratory (vanished in 2025).
• Steven Garcia, who worked security for non-nuclear weapon components (missing August 2025).
• Aerospace engineer Monica Jacinto Reza (missing June 2025).
• NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory engineer Frank Maiwald (died 2024).
• MIT physicist Nuno Loureiro (shot dead in December 2025).
• Caltech exoplanet researcher Carl Grillmair (killed February 2026).
• Novartis chemical biology team leader Jason Thomas (found dead in March 2026).

Burlison has not ruled out foreign adversaries such as China, Russia, or Iran as possible actors targeting America’s top scientific talent. He called for bipartisan support for a thorough probe to protect national security assets.

No official connections between the cases have been confirmed by authorities, but the timing, shared backgrounds in classified programs, and reports of prior threats have fueled widespread speculation, especially given the UFO and advanced propulsion angles.

The Justice Department on Friday removed a career federal prosecutor who was slow-walking charges against John Brennan.

Former CIA Director John Brennan is the “target” of the grand jury Russiagate probe in South Florida.

Last July, it was reported that former FBI Director James Comey and John Brennan were under FBI investigation over their involvement in Russiagate.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe referred Brennan and Comey for prosecution over the summer.

US Attorney Jason Reding Quiñones in the Southern District of Florida is in charge of the investigation.

On Friday, CNN reported that the DOJ abruptly removed the lead ‘career’ Miami prosecutor who was stonewalling and slow-walking charges against Brennan.

“The Justice Department has removed the career Miami federal prosecutor leading the investigation into John Brennan, after she resisted pressure to quickly bring charges against the former CIA director and prominent critic of President Donald Trump, according to people briefed on the matter,” CNN reported.

“Maria Medetis Long on Friday notified attorneys representing people involved in the case that she was no longer handling the investigation, the people familiar with the matter said. She has led the politically sensitive probe for months amid demands from Trump to prosecute Brennan and other critics,” the outlet reported.

CNN reported that career prosecutors in the South Florida office are pushing back and claiming there isn’t a strong enough case to bring charges against Brennan.

“The career prosecutors and investigators handling the case have for months pushed back against demands to quickly bring charges against Brennan, CNN reported, and have signaled to Justice Department officials they don’t believe the case is a strong one. Still, they have continued to work toward possibly bringing it in federal court in Washington, DC,” CNN reported.

Brennan was also separately referred for prosecution by House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan.

Chairman Jordan referred Brennan to the DOJ for knowingly making false statements during a May 2023 interview with the House Judiciary Committee.

A massive scandal may be unfolding in Utah that could have influenced a highly critical case involving redistricting.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, an activist judge on The Utah Third District Court struck down the all-Republican congressional map crafted by the Republican-led state legislature last November, labeling it an unconstitutional “gerrymander” and replacing it with a map drawn by left-wing plaintiffs.

Despite this ridiculous ruling, both the Utah Supreme Court and the federal courts refused to intervene, guaranteeing a Democrat pickup in heavily Republican Utah this year.

The Utah Supreme Court previously declared in July 2024 that Utah lawmakers violated Proposition 4 with their map. Proposition 4 is a left-wing ballot initiative approved by Utah voters that purported to ban gerrymandering.

Now, KSL News revealed that a man named Tobin Hagen has alleged that his ex-wife, Utah Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen, was engaging in an possible romantic relationship with David Reymann, one of the leftist attorneys who successfully argued in favor of giving the Dems a congressional seat.

Tobin Hagen says that he discovered text messages between the two which began somewhat innocently but then became sexual in nature.

The alleged relationship seemingly started no later than February of 2025, when Tobin Hagen discovered the messages.

An attorney received the allegations from Tobin Hagen via Facebook and filed a complaint with the Judicial Conduct Commission in December 2025.

The allegations originally come from Hagen’s ex-husband, Tobin Hagen, who said he suspected the justice began having an inappropriate relationship with Reymann, one of the attorneys representing the plaintiffs in the lawsuit over Utah’s redistricting maps.

Tobin Hagen allegedly described the circumstances surrounding his divorce proceedings to another attorney, including allegations that Diana Hagen had exchanged text messages with Reymann, which Tobin Hagen said began as “silly” and then became “more suggestive.”

The case, League of Women Voters of Utah v. Utah State Legislature, is arguably the highest-profile legal case to reach the Utah Supreme Court in years. The justices issued a unanimous ruling in July 2024 saying lawmakers overreached by changing Proposition 4, an anti-gerrymandering ballot initiative.

Attorney Michael Worley said he received the allegations from Tobin Hagen through a Facebook message, and Worley later filed a complaint with the Judicial Conduct Commission in late December 2025, saying he felt his role as an attorney of the bar required him to disclose the information. Tobin Hagen did not approve of the complaint being filed with the commission, according to documents, but “acknowledged its accuracy.”

Justice Hagen, not surprisingly, has called the allegations “false.”

KSL News notes that the Judicial Conduct Commission investigated the allegations and interviewed Tobin Hagen but decided to sit on their hands.

But Justice Diana Hagen’s troubles are not over. Utah Governor Spencer Cox, Senate President Stuart Adams and House Speaker Mike Schultz told KSL in a joint statement on Thursday that an investigation is coming:

An initial review by the Judicial Conduct Commission and the court left important questions unresolved. Allegations of this nature, especially involving public officials, must be examined with transparency and accountability to establish the facts and to maintain public confidence.

We will move forward with an independent investigation to ensure the facts are fully examined. This process will be conducted objectively and thoroughly, because maintaining trust in our institutions is essential.
