The Pentagon is actively considering suspending Spain from NATO as part of an effort to pressure countries that have refused to support U.S. operations in the war against Iran.

According to an internal memo reported by Reuters. the Pentagon has outlined options to penalize countries seen as falling short of alliance obligations.

This includes limiting U.S. access to military bases, airspace, and overflight rights, described in the memo as “the absolute baseline for NATO.”

Among the measures under review is removing such countries from key alliance roles, with Spain specifically cited as a potential target.

Spain’s socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sacnhez has repeatedly declined to allow its territory to be used for offensive operations against Iran.

The country hosts several major U.S. military installations, including the naval base at Rota and the air base at Morón.

The proposals are being weighed at senior levels within the Pentagon and reflect mounting fangern Washington over what officials view as insufficient support from some NATO allies during a major conflict.

U.S. officials have also raised the possibility of reassessing diplomatic backing for certain European territorial claims, including the British-controlled Falkland Islands, as part of a wider pressure strategy.

The North Atlantic Treaty does not include a formal mechanism for expelling member states, meaning any suspension would likely be limited in scope and largely symbolic.

Sánchez downplayed the reports and repeated his mantra of following so-called “international law.”

“We don’t base our decisions on emails; we base them on official documents and government positions, in this case of the United States,” Sánchez said.

“The Spanish government’s position is clear: full cooperation with our allies, but always within the framework of international law.”

He added that Spain is “fulfilling its responsibilities without fail” and remains a “loyal partner” within NATO.

PResident Trump recently cut off all trade ties with Spain.

“Spain has absolutely nothing that we need,” he said shortly after the war broke out.

“We’re gonna cut off all trade with Spain. We don’t want anything to do with Spain.”

This is a shocking story that every American needs to read.

More importantly, this is a story that President Trump and whoever is his new Attorney General of the United States needs to study.

This is a massive Obama and Hillary criminal conspiracy case we’re handing you, wrapped in a bow, ready for prosecution.

I’ve got the whistleblower and witness for you. His name is Bradley Birkenfeld. And he’s not just any whistleblower.

Brad is single-handedly responsible for uncovering the largest and longest-running tax evasion in IRS history.

He’s also the only whistleblower in the history of America to recover $40 billion for the US Treasury and US taxpayers.

That’s more than all the IRS whistleblowers in American history COMBINED.

And because of that, President Trump, my great friend Brad Birkenfeld, is the most deserving candidate for a pardon in the history of presidential pardons. Hint, hint.

Get ready. Here’s his remarkable story.

Brad was a successful Swiss private banker with many of the wealthiest American businessmen and women as his clients. These wealthy Americans were hiding their money offshore, in Swiss banks, to evade U.S. taxes.

After resigning from his comfortable job at UBS in Switzerland, Brad made the decision to voluntarily walk into the DOJ in Washington, DC, to reveal the secret numbered bank accounts of 19,000 Americans hiding tens of billions of dollars at UBS in Switzerland.

It turns out that most of them were large donors to Obama, Hillary, and the Democrat Party.

In one remarkable act, Brad brought down the entire veil of hundreds of years of Swiss banking secrecy.

Do you remember who the leaders of America were back in 2009 when Brad was negotiating with the DOJ? President Obama, Vice President Biden, and Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.

Brad naturally assumed he would be celebrated, thanked, and protected by the U.S. government for risking his life and giving up his lucrative banking career to help the US government collect tens of billions of dollars in stolen tax money.

Instead, the Obama Department of Justice persecuted and prosecuted Brad, putting him in prison for thirty months. Why would they do that?

To protect thousands of Democrat donors in these files of tax cheats. They didn’t want the files. They wanted to protect their big Democrat donors. They wanted to shut Brad up.

As a result of Brad’s testimony and evidence handed to the DOJ, not only was $40 billion recovered by the IRS, but 130 Swiss banks signed formal agreements and were fined by the US government to end their decades-long criminal conduct.

Three IRS amnesty programs were implemented, resulting in over 100,000 (and counting) US citizens now in tax compliance.

UBS agreed to a deferred prosecution agreement, paid a $780 million fine to the U.S. Treasury Dept. (a slap on the wrist to them), and agreed to release the names of only 4,700 American tax evaders. That’s out of 19,000 tax cheats on Brad’s file.

So, where did the other 14,300 names of tax cheats go? Obama sent Hillary Clinton to Switzerland to negotiate a deal with UBS to erase those names- and in return, Obama and Hillary gave UBS a sweetheart deal.

How evil and criminal was the Obama/Hillary cabal in Washington DC? On the very day my friend Brad was sent to prison (and remember, he is the hero who handed in these names of tax cheats), Obama was playing golf with the Chairman of UBS.

This is how crimes are covered up among friends in Washington DC.

Instead of making Brad a national hero, Obama’s DOJ forced Brad to accept one charge of conspiracy to commit tax fraud and put him in prison for 30 months. This was their way of shutting him up.

In all these years since my friend Brad exposed this massive criminal conspiracy and 19,000 tax cheats, the only person to go to prison is Brad Birkenfeld.

Hillary Clinton was sent to Switzerland to “negotiate” the deal with UBS. She made sure all the Democrat tax cheats’ names were erased from the infamous list Brad handed to the IRS. But Brad knows how many names were on the list- they were his clients.

I’m no lawyer, but this sure looks like proof of a massive crime and government conspiracy carried out by Obama and Hillary. And Brad is ready today to testify as a witness/whistleblower.

Once out of prison, Brad told his side of the story in the worldwide best-selling book: “Lucifer’s Banker Uncensored” published in eight languages- with the Foreword by Peter Schweizer exposing the ingrained corruption of Obama and Clinton.

It’s time to right a terrible injustice, Mr. President.

First, it’s time to call for a Special Counsel to prosecute Obama and Hillary for carrying out this massive criminal conspiracy.

Think about this for a moment…

Is it a crime to cover up the largest and longest-running tax evasion in IRS history? By any standard, that’s a clear-cut case of fraud.

Is it a crime to erase the names of 14,300 Democrat donors in a file of 19,000 tax cheats? By any standard, that’s a clear-cut case of fraud.

Is it a crime to only collect the $40 billion from GOP donors? Because not a dime was ever collected from the 14,300 Democrat donors. How could the IRS collect any money from Democrat tax cheats when their names were erased?

So, in effect, Obama and Hillary stole an estimated $100 billion from the US Treasury and U.S. taxpayers (you and me) by not going after the taxes owed by their cronies. Democrat donors got away with fraud. By any standard, that’s a clear-cut case of fraud.

Is it a crime to offer a sweetheart deal to UBS if they would agree to allow Hillary to erase 14,300 names from the files? By any standard, that’s a clear-cut case of fraud.

Finally, is it a crime to destroy the life of my friend Brad in order to silence him? You’re damn right it is.

Democrats put Brad in prison for the same reason they have now put Tina Peters in prison. To cover up their crimes. To silence witnesses. To send a message to future whistleblowers- if you report a crime by Democrats, we will destroy your life.

Finally, President Trump, please reward Bradley Birkenfeld with a Presidential Pardon in order to recognize that our US government, the DOJ, and the Obama Administration committed a terrible injustice when they put Brad Birkenfeld in prison. Brad is a hero, not a criminal.

There are many Americans worthy of a pardon, but no one in history has ever recovered $40 billion for the American people (and taxpayers).

Every American taxpayer owes a great debt of gratitude to Brad. 40 billion gratitudes- to be exact!

By the way, the IRS officially recognized Brad as the hero of this story. They designated him as a “whistleblower.” While Obama was persecuting Brad and putting him in prison, on the day Brad walked out of prison, he was handed a check from the IRS for $100 million dollars- his reward for the monies recovered.

Now that’s a happy ending!

But there is only one way to give this story the happy ending of all happy endings- send Obama and Hillary to prison.

Said Mansour Rezk Abdelrazek (also spelled Saeid Mansour Abdulraziq) is an Egyptian Christian convert from Islam currently on trial in Cairo on terrorism-related offenses. If found guilty, he could face the death penalty. Under Egypt’s counterterrorism law, founders and leaders of terrorist organizations are subject to the death penalty or life imprisonment.

He converted to Christianity in 2016 and joined the Russian Orthodox Church in Egypt, enduring family rejection, societal hostility, and police intimidation for sharing his faith publicly.

In 2018, he traveled to Russia, where he sought asylum and began publicly criticizing Islam. His online posts angered segments of Russia’s Muslim community, leading to his arrest and a one-year prison sentence. Russia then revoked his asylum and deported him to Egypt in 2024.

That deportation violated international law: the UNHCR had previously determined Abdelrazek qualified for international protection, and a Russian court had issued a binding order on July 17, 2024, prohibiting his deportation. Rights advocates condemn the move as illegal refoulement.

Upon arrival in Egypt, Egyptian authorities held him incommunicado for approximately ten days, then interrogated him about his religious beliefs, pressured him to reconsider his faith, asked him to monitor other converts, and ordered him to delete his social media accounts. Authorities released him with instructions not to speak publicly or proselytize.

In July 2025, he asked a lawyer to help him obtain new identification documents reflecting his Christian faith. He was arrested on July 15 at the Al-Matareiah police station in Cairo. On July 22, Egypt’s State Security Court charged him with “joining a terrorist organisation,” “stirring unrest,” and “spreading false news.”

His trial opened April 21, 2026, before Egypt’s First Criminal Terrorism Circuit in Badr. His legal team submitted motions requesting time to prepare a full defense; the court granted the adjournment and scheduled the next hearing for June 15.

Prosecutors accused Abdelrazek of establishing and leading an unlawful group, joining a banned organization, financing it, promoting beliefs deemed harmful to national unity and social peace, showing contempt for Islam, and challenging its fundamental principles. Apostasy, leaving Islam for another faith, is not formally codified as a crime in Egypt, but is often prosecuted under broadly defined security charges. The pattern spans multiple cases and years.

Abdulbaqi Saeed Abdo, a Yemeni refugee and Christian convert, was arrested in December 2021 after joining a Facebook group for Christian converts and appearing on a Christian television channel to discuss his faith. The government held him for over two and a half years without formal charges or a court hearing, citing him as a “security risk” and granting his lawyers minimal access.

He was eventually charged under Article 86 of the Egyptian Criminal Code with joining a terrorist group, under Article 98(f) with contempt of Islam, and under Article 161 with discrimination against Islam. In May 2024, prison authorities placed him in solitary confinement after a fellow prisoner reported him for copying Bible verses on scraps of paper.

In January 2025, Egyptian authorities released Abdo and, in coordination with Canadian and UNHCR officials, facilitated his transfer to Canada. Egyptian judicial authorities did not drop the charges.

Security forces detained Nour Fayez Ibrahim in 2022 after he created a Facebook group debating monotheistic religions. Egypt’s Supreme State Security charged him with “leading a terrorist group” and “showing disrespect to Abrahamic religions,” renewing his detention in 45-day increments pending investigation before the Supreme State Security.

Dr. Augustinos Samaan, 37, a Coptic researcher with a PhD in comparative religion, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on October 1, 2025, by special-forces officers who confiscated his laptop, phone, books, and personal papers. Following national security interrogation that reportedly included torture, he was initially charged with joining a terrorist organization and spreading false news; prosecutors later amended the charges to “contempt of religion” under Article 98(f).

On January 3, 2026, a court sentenced him to five years’ imprisonment with hard labor in a secret proceeding held without notifying his legal counsel or family, without public proceedings, and without granting the defense access to the case file. His lawyers arrived at court three days later expecting a routine detention-renewal hearing and learned only then that the case had already been decided.

Amnesty International reported that security forces arrested Sherif Gaber, 32, a blogger and YouTuber, at his Cairo home on November 3, 2025, and subjected him to enforced disappearance for approximately 56 days before bringing him before a prosecutor. Authorities had targeted Gaber repeatedly since 2013; between 2013 and 2024, courts sentenced him in absentia in three separate trials to one, three, and five years in prison on “contempt of religions” charges.

Between mid-July 2025 and January 1, 2026, Egyptian security forces arrested at least 29 people across six governorates for posting online content that diverged from state-sanctioned religious narratives or for membership in social media groups discussing atheism and agnosticism.

At least four detainees reported torture following arrest, at least 11 were denied legal counsel during interrogation, and one died in custody during that period. Coptic Solidarity identified the structural mechanism: Egypt’s Article 98(f) “contempt of religion” statute functions in practice almost exclusively to shield Islam from critique and is not applied equally to other beliefs, with Egypt treating freedom of religion not as an individual right but as a managed state privilege.

Abdelrazek is scheduled to appear before Judge Mohamed Saeed El-Sherbiny, a jurist associated with severe sentencing in high-profile and politically sensitive cases. Authorities have refused to grant defense counsel access to the case file or supporting evidence.

During his detention, according to USCIRF, authorities and inmates physically and psychologically abused Abdelrazek for his conversion. He has reportedly been coerced into undergoing painful removal of a Christian tattoo and was suspended for hours in a “crucifixion” position. He is held in Cairo’s 10th of Ramadan Prison, where he has reportedly been deprived of basic necessities including adequate food, clothing, and medical care.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has designated Abdelrazek a religious prisoner of conscience, asserting that he is detained for his religious conversion and activity. The USCIRF annual Egypt report pairs his charges with a broader documented pattern of criminalizing belief through the frequent combination of “contempt for Islam” charges with terrorism or banned-group allegations.

Egypt’s population is approximately 111 million, roughly 90% Sunni Muslim and 10% Christian. Egypt ranked 42nd on Open Doors’ 2026 World Watch List of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.
