An art dealer and Democratic candidate for Congress in California’s 40th district stumbled into a salient point for anyone advocating for in vitro fertilization that fails to draw a moral equivalency with abortion — both are about making choices and ending lives.

On April 15, Breitbart posted Esther Kim Varet’s interview with host Heather Renee on “The Happily Never After” podcast where she spoke about her experience with IVF.

When viewing the clip, her comments come off as incredibly jarring before even coming to that topic. Varet talks about having abortions as casually as one would mention what they had for breakfast.

It’s yet another reminder of how normalized child murder has become in left-wing circles.

“Both of my abortions were very early… the first one was definitely like, I would say, eight weeks, and the other one was at five,” she said.

“That’s obviously different from the decision I made when I was 41,” she said, speaking about her use of IVF.

“We had done IVF… I don’t know how controversial this is, but like, we have five other embryos on ice right now.”

Varet explained she and her husband wanted two children — a boy and a girl — before tying the conversation to another of the left’s favorite talking points — environmentalism.

“We’re big environmentalists. For us, philosophically, we don’t want to overburden our footprint,” she described.

Even as the correlation exists between having several children and overburdening society went unexplained, Varet then made a more logical point in what families are doing when they choose IVF.

“The irony is, so many people that want to wave their finger at you, I’m telling you, if you’ve gone through IVF, you’re doing the same thing,” she continued.

“You have embryos; you’re making choices.”

Although Varet’s view of children, specifically the casual ending of their lives, is morally bankrupt and even barbaric, she makes a point audiences need to see.

She wasn’t condemning IVF as being just as bad as abortion, but from a conservative viewpoint, that’s the takeaway.

You are throwing away life.

You are choosing whether children live or die, just as abortionists do.

Pro-lifers must realize this isn’t a topic that exists separately from the one they claim to care deeply about. It’s a blind spot they must address.

For the uninitiated, Mayo Clinic explains, “During in vitro fertilization, mature eggs are collected from ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab. Then a procedure is done to place one or more of the fertilized eggs, called embryos, in a uterus, which is where babies develop.”

What happens to the additional fertilized eggs? Herein lies the problem, as they can be discarded. That is, children can be discarded.

You’re creating life and destroying it. That’s an abortion.

The war on the First Amendment has just turned into an all-out assault on the Second.

Legendary investigative journalist James O’Keefe announced on Thursday night that police stormed his O’Keefe Media Group office and seized EVERY SINGLE ONE of his firearms.

This is the direct result of a Miami-Dade family court “domestic violence stalking” temporary restraining order pushed by none other than Matthew Tyrmand, a former Project Veritas board member.

Earlier this month, James was served with a restraining order while livestreaming from his West Palm Beach, Florida, headquarters on Tuesday.

“Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department just served me with a domestic violence restraining order from Matthew Tyrmand. The former board member from Project Veritas who said he wants to murder me,” James O’Keefe said.

“Despite admitting multiple times on hidden camera wanting me dead, Matthew Tyrmand filed a restraining order against ME in Miami Dade County,” O’Keefe said.

“Saying such things as: “I would kill him [O’Keefe]. Because he is one of the most evil people I’ve ever known,” he said.

“He even shot up my book with rifle bullets through my heart on the cover. The audacity of evil has no bounds,” O’Keefe said.

It can be recalled that the Project Veritas board conducted a coup and removed founder James O’Keefe as its Chairman in February 2023.

This was after James turned Project Veritas into a multi-million-dollar company through one of the most successful undercover operations in history.

Since 2023, James has been fighting to gain control over his Project Veritas. In the meantime, James started a new business, O’Keefe Media Group, and it has quickly grown into another successful media venture.

During the encounter in Miami Beach that was recorded by a camera, Tyrmand ‘admitted’ to being an FBI-Southern District of New York (SDNY) informant.

An illegal alien from Nicaragua has been arrested in Green Bay, Wisconsin, after he entered his ex-girlfriend’s home and savagely attacked her and her new boyfriend with a machete on Monday.

David Joel Mairena-Garcia, 29, faces two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide plus additional charges after the brutal attack that left both victims seriously injured.

Police say Mairena-Garcia used a key to enter the home and immediately began attacking the victims with a machete without saying a word.

Mairena-Garcia later admitted he “just wanted to kill them.”

The victims, a 26-year-old woman with whom he has a child and a 23-year-old man from Green Bay, both suffered machete wounds and were hospitalized following the attack.

It is unclear if the child was home during the brutal attempted murder.

Fox 11 reports:

According to the complaint, Mairena-Garcia used a key to enter the woman’s home. He allegedly hit the male victim, a 23-year-old from Green Bay, with a machete in the shoulder, forearm and shin. Mairena-Garcia then allegedly beat his ex-girlfriend, a 26-year-old Green Bay woman. She suffered lacerations on her hand and neck, plus an injury to her head.

“David did not say anything, he just went in and started cutting them and attacking them with the machete,” the woman told police. She “stated David had already made several death threats to her by text message and in person.”

Victim-1 left the bedroom and briefly ran outside. During this time, David beat Victim-2 and then chased her out of the house. Victim-1 stated he ran down Edgewood Drive. After chasing Victim-1 down the road with the machete, David got into his vehicle (Victim-1 thought a black SUV) and left driving down Edgewood Drive.

Police used Flock cameras to track Mairena-Garcia and arrested him during a traffic stop.

The complaint says, “Mairena-Garcia stated he saw his “wife” and another male in his bed and he lost his mind and blacked out because of the rage. Mairena-Garcia advised all he was thinking was “just wanting to kill them.”

Mairena-Garcia fled the scene in a van but was stopped by police shortly afterward.

The attempted murderer led officers to the machete he had thrown from the vehicle during his escape.

Mairena-Garcia is in the United States illegally and now has an active ICE hold placed on him while he remains in Brown County Jail. His cash bond has been set at $750,000.

Court records show he already had a criminal history in Wisconsin prior to this attack, including three guilty verdicts for operating without a valid driver’s license and an open case for hit-and-run.

Law enforcement officials have not released further details on the victims’ current conditions.

RINO Senator John Cornyn’s team left up an old YouTube video on his official Senate channel where the Texas RINO openly pushes amnesty for illegal aliens, and it stayed there until conservatives unearthed it this week.

While Cornyn pretends to be a born-again border hawk in his desperate fight to survive a MAGA primary challenge, his own Senate YouTube page was still hosting a video that proves exactly where his heart lies: open borders, amnesty, and America Last.

The video, first highlighted by grassroots warrior Scott Presler, shows Cornyn advocating for policies that would reward lawbreakers with legal status.

His team “forgot” to scrub it from the official record… or maybe they just didn’t think anyone would notice.

The campaign ad was posted on YouTube in 2020 and was presented in Spanish.

An illegal alien from India has been arrested in San Antonio, Texas, after he emerged from the woods at Espada Park and randomly punched a mother in the face and began biting her three-year-old daughter’s face.

The mother described the unprovoked attack as being “like a scene out of a horror movie.”

The suspect, 24-year-old Atharva Vyas, was arrested on the scene Saturday afternoon after a brave bystander physically restrained him until San Antonio Police Department officers arrived.

According to police reports and court records, Vyas approached 27-year-old Gabriella Perez while she was at the park with her family.

Vyas grabbed her by the hair, punched her in the face, causing her to fall and drop her 3-year-old daughter.

The madman then jumped on the toddler and began biting her face, causing serious injuries, including the loss of two of her teeth and severe bite wounds to her face.

KSAT reports:

“He tried poking at (her) eyes with his thumb,” Perez said. “He hit me. He was a big man. I just remember laying there and looking for (her daughter) and I just see him on top trying to do the thumb.”

Perez said Vyas began biting her daughter’s face. She said it was like a scene out of a horror movie.

“I think when everyone was there, I got up and was like this is like a f—— zombie movie. Like what the heck,” Perez said.

The little girl is recovering but remains fearful, clinging to her mother and refusing to attend daycare or be separated from her.

Vyas faces multiple serious charges, including injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily injury, and illegal entry from a foreign nation.

He was booked into the Bexar County Jail.

Police have confirmed Vyas was a complete stranger to the victims with no prior connection, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover the child’s medical bills, dental work, therapy, lost wages, and ongoing medical needs.

In the fundraiser’s description, Perez wrote:

On 04/18/2026, my daughter and I experienced a traumatic attack that has changed our lives. The attacker targeted both of us, and my daughter suffered severe injuries to her face, including bites and the loss of two teeth. The emotional distress from this event has been overwhelming for both of us, and we are now focused on helping her heal physically and emotionally.

Since the attack, my daughter has needed constant care, comfort, and reassurance. She is unable to return to daycare or be left with anyone else, so I have had to take time away from work to be by her side.

We are reaching out for help during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount truly makes a difference, and if you’re not able to donate, sharing our story means just as much to us. Thank you for your kindness, support, and for keeping our family in your prayers as we focus on healing and recovery.
