In another humiliating blow to Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos, the Federal Aviation Administration has grounded Blue Origin’s massive New Glenn rocket following a spectacular mishap during its third flight.

The rocket successfully launched from Cape Canaveral on Sunday, April 19, and the booster even stuck the landing like a pro, but the upper stage completely botched the most critical part: putting a multi-million-dollar commercial satellite into the correct orbit.

The satellite is now a total loss, with its onboard thrusters unable to save it. It will deorbit and burn up in a fiery reentry.

Fox 35 reported:

The New Glenn rocket lifted off on Sunday without major issues, and its first-stage booster successfully landed on a drone ship, marking a technical achievement for Blue Origin. However, the payload — a communications satellite built by AST SpaceMobile — was placed into the wrong orbit, making it unusable.

The satellite, known as BlueBird 7, was intended to support direct-to-cellphone broadband service. Instead, it was deployed into a much lower orbit than planned, leaving it without enough propulsion to reach operational altitude. The satellite is expected to reenter Earth’s atmosphere and be destroyed.

The lost payload represents a financial setback worth hundreds of millions of dollars and sent the company’s stock (NASDAQ: ASTS) lower on Monday. AST SpaceMobile is competing with firms including SpaceX and Amazon in the satellite communications market.

The FAA wasted no time slapping a “mishap” label on the mission and ordering a full investigation. New Glenn is now grounded indefinitely until Blue Origin and the feds sort out what went wrong with the second-stage engines.

In a statement on Monday, Blue Origin CEO Dave Limp wrote on X:

“Now that we have a more complete view, we wanted to provide an update on our NG-3 mission. While we are pleased with the nominal booster recovery, we clearly didn’t deliver the mission our customer wanted, and our team expects.

Early data suggest that on our second GS2 burn, one of the BE-3U engines didn’t produce sufficient thrust to reach our target orbit.

Blue Origin is leading the anomaly investigation with FAA oversight to learn from the data and implement the improvements needed to quickly return to flight operations. We have been in steady communication with the team at AST SpaceMobile, we appreciate their partnership, and we’re looking forward to many flights together.”

The entire thing lasted roughly 11 minutes, straight up to the edge of space and straight back down.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Olaolukitan Adon Abel, the 26-year-old UK-born monster accused of going on a bloody random shooting spree that left a U.S. Department of Homeland Security employee and two others dead, was found unresponsive in his jail cell and pronounced dead Tuesday evening.

According to FOX5 Atlanta, citing the sheriff’s office, Abel was discovered in his cell at approximately 6:48 p.m. on April 21.

This occurred around the same time that the family of one of his victims held a vigil.

Staff attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at 7:17 p.m. Officials say there are currently “no indications of foul play,” but an internal investigation and medical examiner’s autopsy are pending.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the Department of Homeland Security has confirmed to Fox News that the savage behind a random, bloody murder spree in DeKalb County, Georgia, is a “United Kingdom national” who was fast-tracked into American citizenship during Joe Biden’s disastrous administration in 2022.

Olaolukitan Adon Abel was arrested after carrying out a vicious early-morning shooting rampage across three separate locations in DeKalb County on Monday, April 13th. He is now facing two counts of murder, aggravated assault, and multiple weapons charges.

According to authorities, Abel shot and killed one woman in front of a Checkers restaurant, then hunted down and brutally stabbed and shot to death 40-year-old Lauren Bullis while she was simply walking her dog in a quiet neighborhood. Bullis was an employee of the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General.

Abel also opened fire on a homeless man in front of a shopping center, shooting him multiple times and leaving him critically injured.

According to the Brookhaven Police Department:

The Brookhaven Police Department has arrested and charged Olaolukitan Adon Abel, 26, of Atlanta with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony in connection with the shooting that occurred earlier this morning at Cherokee Plaza, located at 3855 Peachtree Road.

On April 13, 2026, at approximately 1:59 a.m., Brookhaven officers responded to the Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center in reference to a person being shot. Upon arrival, officers located a 49-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, where he remains in critical condition.

Through the use of the Brookhaven Police Department’s Operation Plugged In Camera Network, along with coordinated law enforcement efforts, detectives were able to quickly develop leads and positively identify the shooter.

This afternoon, Adon Abel was taken into custody without incident by the Georgia Department of Public Safety in Troup County following coordination with Brookhaven detectives.

Further investigation has revealed that Adon Abel is also responsible for other shootings that occurred earlier in unincorporated DeKalb County.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. The Brookhaven Police Department is working closely with the DeKalb County Police Department and state partners to ensure all aspects of these incidents are thoroughly investigated.

DHS confirmed to Fox News that Abel had a lengthy criminal rap sheet long before this nightmare unfolded. Prior convictions include sexual battery, battery against a police officer, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Radical Democrat Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut is cheering for America’s enemies during active hostilities with Iran, and when called out, he pulled the classic leftist move, gaslighting, and deflection.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Murphy replied with a smug one-word “awesome” to a Lloyd’s List report claiming that at least 26 ships from Iran’s notorious “shadow fleet” had brazenly bypassed the U.S. naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz/Gulf of Oman area.

Murphy didn’t express concern for U.S. troops. He didn’t worry about Iranian oil money flowing to terrorists. He didn’t even pretend to support America’s interests.

He just typed “awesome.”

X users immediately unloaded on the Connecticut Democrat, calling the remark “literally rooting for the enemy” and “treasonous.”

White House officials ripped him for gleefully regurgitating Iranian propaganda while U.S. forces are actively engaged. Even some on the left couldn’t defend it.

So what did Murphy do? He tried the oldest trick in the Democrat playbook, gaslighting the American people.

In a desperate follow-up post, Murphy wrote:

Then, when a Fox News reporter confronted him directly, Murphy doubled down on the absurdity.

He complained that “Twitter has become kind of a cesspool” and claimed he “probably should give up on sarcasm on Twitter” because “sarcasm is not something I guess that’s allowed on Twitter any longer.”

Republican House Majority Whip Tom Emmer on Tuesday criticized his fellow Minnesotan, Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, about her updated financial filing with the Ethics Committee.

“Ilhan Omar is even more clueless than I thought if she thinks this financial disclosure revision clears her of suspicion,” Emmer told Fox News.

Omar submitted new financial documents to the committee in hopes of avoiding a scandal. Emmer said that in doing so, however, she only raised further concerns among lawmakers.

“She can backtrack, obfuscate, and distract all she wants, but she’s made clear who she is: A fraud-enabling, racist antisemite who espouses anti-American rhetoric every chance she gets,” Emmer proclaimed.

“She should be held accountable to the fullest extent,” he continued. “My colleagues on the House Ethics Committee have my full backing for any and all investigations into Ilhan and her potential misdealings.”

An amended filing reviewed by The Wall Street Journal showed Omar and her husband’s assets between $18,004 and $95,000 — much less than her earlier disclosure, which estimated their assets to be valued between $6 million and $30 million.

“The amended disclosure confirms what we’ve said all along: The congresswoman is not a millionaire,” Omar spokesperson Jacklyn Rogers told the outlet.

She also said the filing was corrected “as soon as the discrepancy was identified,” with the amended filing showing Omar reporting between $102,503 and $1,005,200 in income from 2024 assets that she and her husband own.

Further documents showed $213,200 in money going to her husband from his venture capital management firm and $3,000 from a winery.

A 2025 email between the Minnesota Democrat’s husband and his accountant estimated the value of the venture capital firm to be $7.9 million, and the winery clocked in at $1.5 million, though he is reported by The Wall Street Journal to own around one-third of both businesses.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer of Kentucky went after Omar Sunday during an interview with “Fox & Friends Weekend.”

“We’re not supposed to do that [investigate it] on the Oversight Committee, but because she’s a person of interest in the Somali fraud, I’ve been trying to get that,” he said, referencing Omar’s link to people who’ve been associated with the recent fraud in Minnesota.

Omar has been the target of heavy backlash for how quickly her net worth jumped after she joined Congress.

Vice President J.D. Vance, who was put in charge of tracking down nationwide fraud, has promised to investigate her.

“So we actually think that Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America,” Vance said in March. “And I talked to [White House deputy chief of staff] Stephen Miller about this actually recently. We’re trying to look at what the remedies are.”

He added, “That’s the thing that we’re trying to figure out is what are the legal remedies now that we know that she’s committed immigration fraud? How do you go after her? How do you investigate her? How do you actually do the thing? How do you build the case necessary to get some justice for the American people?”

The saga of the New York trials of Harvey Weinstein is a bit convoluted, so bear with us: in 2020, disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was convicted of rape and a criminal sex act, resulting in a 23-year prison sentence.

That verdict was later overturned by New York’s Supreme Court due to the improper use of uncharged accusers’ testimony.

So, he got a retrial in 2025, in which he was convicted of one count of first-degree criminal sexual act (involving Miriam Haley in 2006).

Weinstein was also acquitted of a similar count involving another woman, and a mistrial (hung jury) was declared on the third-degree rape charge involving Jessica Mann.

So, now, a THIRD trial is taking place on the sole count of raping Jessica Mann.

In the meantime, he was tried in 2022 in Los Angeles and convicted on three counts (forcible rape, forced oral copulation, and sexual penetration) against one unnamed victim.

This led to a 16-year sentence in 2023, which is to be served after the New York term.

Today, Manhattan prosecutors told the jury that Harvey Weinstein ‘wielded his power like a weapon’ against a ‘fragile and sheltered young woman’ who claims he raped her 13 years ago.

NBC News reported:

“It was his world and everyone was just living in it,” Assistant District Attorney Candace White told jurors during opening statements, presenting the disgraced Hollywood tycoon as a bully who ‘expected everyone to fall in line’ with his every demand.

The trial revolves around allegations from Jessica Mann, a former aspiring actor who claims Weinstein sexually assaulted her at the DoubleTree hotel in midtown Manhattan in 2013. He has vehemently denied Mann’s accusations and all allegations of nonconsensual sex.

‘Jessica naively believed that she had an opportunity’ for professional advancement after first meeting Weinstein, White said, arguing that the movie mogul feigned interest in her acting career and preyed on her vulnerability.”

Defense lawyer Jacob Kaplan rebutted the prosecution’s allegations, saying Weinstein and Mann had a lengthy ‘consensual sexual relationship’, and accusing the actress of having ‘slept her way into Hollywood’.

“’She was always in control of her actions’, Kaplan said.

Kaplan highlighted emails the two exchanged, which he characterized as ‘verbal snapshots’ of a ‘supportive’, ‘caring’ and ‘mutually beneficial’ relationship that spanned four years. ‘He didn’t rape her at any time’, Kaplan said.”
