Trump’s Fed Chair Nominee Kevin Warsh had to appear before the Senate today and was grilled by Senator Elizabeth Warren. This is what she lives for. She loves nothing more than to grandstand before these people and try to create a viral moment for herself. After all, it’s all about her.

She tried to corner him by asking for one thing on which he disagrees with Trump, as if that even matters.

Rather than taking her seriously, he just played games with her mind. She was not amused.

Although it was an official hearing, there may not be a vote anytime soon because Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) is vowing to block one until the Department of Justice concludes its investigation into whether Powell made false statements about the $2.5 Fed construction project.

You would think a hearing about the Reserve, interest rates, and economics would be dry, but Massachusetts Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren brought some unintentional humor to the proceedings by breaking out her cranky, hen-pecking attitude when it was her turn to ask questions.

She kept badgering Warsh to disagree with Trump on something — anything. He did finally come up with an answer, but it certainly wasn’t what she was fishing for. Well-played, Kevin…

Bruce Springsteen’s anti-Trump tour is not impressing anyone. He is even getting trashed by his own hometown newspaper over the high ticket prices and expensive ‘No Kings’ merchandise for sale in the lobby.

Like so many other people in the entertainment industry, Springsteen was ruined by his Trump Derangement Syndrome.

His image as someone who writes songs for the working man is forever tarnished and without that, his act is as good as dead.

Bobby Olivier, a food and culture Editor and a music reporter for NJ Advance Media, took Bruce Springsteen to task this week calling the rocker’s Prudential Center concert in Newark on Monday “all hypocritical crap. Profiteering over legitimate protest.”

“Springsteen’s artistic identity, as a bleeding-heart populist who sings for the destitute and downtrodden, has never been more disconnected from his economic behavior as a touring act or businessman. The blue-collar troubadour now charges exorbitant amounts for his tickets — up to $2,900 retail for the best seats in Newark Monday; prices he agreed to despite fan backlash,” Olivier writes at NJ.com.

“He’s selling ‘No Kings’ branded flags for $90 in the arena concourse,” Olivier says of Springsteen. “And last week, his merchandise distributor got an injunction passed to ban bootleg T-shirt sales outside the venue, even as crews of independent sellers — fine examples of working-class people he’s romanticized for 50 years — hawk merch at nearly every other Prudential Center show without issue.”

Springsteen brought his anti-Trump tirades to new heights in February when he announced his “Land of Hope and Dreams’ American tour,” which has seen the New Jersey native go on the attack against President Trump from Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Los Angeles, California, to Newark, New Jersey.

Springsteen probably should have just retired years ago instead of trying to become a liberal political activist.

At least then, his musical legacy would still be intact.

Last week, the Gateway Pundit ran a story about a new book from conservative analyst Mollie Hemingway, which claims that Supreme Court Justice Kagan exploded on Justice Breyer after the Dobbs decision about overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked. This is a continuation of that story but with so much more.

According to Hemingway, once all of the justices knew that Roe was going to be overturned, Justice Alito wrote the opinion and had it done in February. The liberal justices on the court dragged out the writing of their dissent for months, apparently out of spite.

Then the decision was leaked in May and all hell broke loose. Protesters descended on the homes of the conservative justices. A young man was arrested after being caught in a plot to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh and others.

The liberal justices put the lives of the conservative justices in danger, and they knew it! This is unreal.

Hemingway revealed all of this in an appearance on the Megyn Kelly podcast today.

MEGYN KELLY: And then there was an actual request by the majority to the dissenters saying, can you please hurry it up? Like, please, with alacrity, finish up your dissents. Because the longer it’s being held in abeyance, the more people think, maybe if I knock off one of these justices, I have a chance of saving Roe.

The lives of the majority, the conservatives, were actually in jeopardy. And we found out the hard way that was true with the guy who tried to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh and said he wanted to kill three of them. So the request was made to the dissenters, the liberals, like, please, get it decided.

Get your dissents written sooner rather than later. And they were basically told to F off. There was zero empathy by the dissenters for the safety of their colleagues in the conservative majority.

MOLLIE HEMINGWAY: I mean, it’s just if you remember when the decision was leaked, excuse me, when the decision was leaked, almost immediately you had massive protests, not just at the Supreme Court, but also fire bombings of pro-life clinics and churches. And you had protests at the homes of the five justices who had voted to overturn Roe. Those protests were, you know, people were publicly putting out their addresses.

Some of these justices live with their young children. They immediately had to be put under security. They were wearing bulletproof vests.

They were dealing with things that nobody should ever have to deal with. And people were being kind of blase about it. Now, because a decision is not final until it’s publicly announced from the bench, even though there were five justices willing to overturn Roe and prepared to do that, it wouldn’t be final.

If one of them were killed, in fact, Roe would not have been overturned. It was clear that people were trying to either, God forbid, physically harm these people or otherwise intimidate them away from their decision. There are laws on the books against doing this.

This is such a damning indictment of the liberal wing of the court. It makes them look not only petty, but vindictive and vicious.

Virginia voters have passed the redistricting referendum that will benefit Democrats and disenfranchise millions of Virginia independents and Republicans.

Abigail Spanberger lied to the people of Virginia on the campaign trail, saying that she would not back this and it was almost the fist thing she did once in office.

This has massive potential to backfire on Democrats, much like the passage of Obamacare.

Democrats scored a major victory on Tuesday as a congressional redistricting referendum that could give Democrats a significant boost in the battle for the U.S. House of Representatives majority in this year’s midterm elections was passed by Virginia voters, the Associated Press reported at 8:49 p.m. ET.

The ballot measure gives the Democrat-controlled Virginia legislature — rather than the state’s current nonpartisan commission — temporary redistricting power through the 2030 election. It could result in a 10-1 advantage for Democrats in Virginia’s congressional delegation, up from their current 6-5 edge.

That would give the Democrats four additional left-leaning U.S. House seats ahead of the midterms as the party tries to win back control of the chamber from the GOP, which currently holds a razor-thin majority.

The standalone spring referendum capped months of political crossfire and court battles, sky-high early voting turnout, and tons of national attention and money poured into the ballot box showdown.

Even though a majority of voters gave the ballot initiative a thumbs up, it still faces legal challenges.

Obama is already celebrating, and lying about this.

New York City continues its tragic decline under the failed stewardship of buffoonish Mayor Zohran Mamdani, as spotlighted by a disturbing video showing three out-of-shape NYPD officers failing to restrain a subway thug.

The incident, which occurred on a subway platform in the Bronx, underscores how Mamdani‘s embrace of anti-meritocratic DEI hiring practices has eroded public safety and emboldened criminals.

The video, which was originally posted on Instagram, was reposted on X on Monday.

“Three NYPD officers are unable to take down one thug at the Tremont Avenue subway stop in NYC,” an X user observed.

“The thug falls or jumps down to the tracks, gets up on the other side, and walks away.”

Before walking off, the suspect berates and curses at the officers, repeatedly screaming, “Get the f*** off me!”

While casually walking away, the suspect derisively taunted an obese female officer as a “fat b****.”

The viral clip spotlights several disturbing themes underscoring the disastrous impact of left-wing social re-engineering agendas.

First, criminals no longer fear or respect law enforcement, which means there’s no deterrent to crime.

Second, many New York City officers are physically unfit to do their jobs.

Those of us who live in New York are used to seeing obese, lethargic officers who look as if they’re one doughnut away from a heart attack.

It’s inconceivable to imagine them chasing a suspect on foot or being able to physically restrain a criminal.

This is especially true of female cops, who’ve been hired en masse due to the Democrats’ DEI fetish, which has slashed standards amid leftist complaints that the fitness tests prevented women from being hired.

This dangerous trend has metastasized nationwide and around the world, making a laughingstock of the police.

Mamdani is escalating the harebrained diversity agenda by steering millions of tax dollars into expanding “racial equity” hiring practices.

There’s a dwindling supply of qualified NYPD officers, because many have taken early retirement or quit the force during the past few years — a catastrophic fallout of the Black Lives Matter riots, which demonized the police and handcuffed their ability to do their jobs.

Adding to the erosion of law and order in NYC and other Democrat-controlled big cities is the left-wing promulgation of “bail reform” laws that put criminals back on the streets shortly after they’re arrested.

This is a recipe for disaster that incentivizes more crime and jeopardizes public safety.
