Rep. Thomas Massie has conceded his race in Kentucky’s fourth congressional district.

As reported earlier in the evening, Massie lost to former NAVY Seal Ed Gallrein in Tuesday’s primary election by a decisive margin.

During his concession speech, Massie said he was unable to Gallrein because he was in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.

“Listen, I would have come out sooner but I had to call my opponent and concede and it took a while to find Ed Gallrein in Tel Aviv.”

”I have called and conceded the race. We have been honorable the whole time and we are going to stay that way.”

“Welcome to the most expensive congressional primary ever, in the 250 year history of this country.”

”It is not just the most expensive, this thing went on longer than Vietnam.”

”It started nine months ago. They didn’t even have a candidate and they decided they wanted to take me out.”

President Trump has yet to formally respond to Massie’s defeat except for posting an image on Truth Social celebrating Gallrein’s victory.

Trump had long called for Massie’s ouster after the Kentucky Republican repeatedly tried to stymie efforts to pass legislation on the grounds of his supposed libertarian principles.

In a rare post on X on Tuesday, Trump described him as a the “worst Congressman in the History of our Country.”

Massie’s defeat follows the crushing loss delivered to Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, who voted to impeach Trump in the wake of the January 6th protests.

Cassidy not only lost, but he finished dead last, a humiliating outcome for a two-term incumbent.

Two “fans” of an accused murderer made statements so outrageous this week that even the defendant disavowed them.

Ashley Rojas and Lena Weissbrot call themselves “Mangionistas” on social media, a nod to Luigi Mangione, the young man accused of gunning down United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in a pre-dawn attack on Dec. 4, 2024.

In a video interview with the New York Daily News Monday, the two voiced disdain for Thompson and expressed glee over the insurance executive’s death, saying Thompson’s children “are better off without him.”

“I’m saying f*** Brian Thompson. I don’t give a f*** he died,” Rojas told the Daily News.

Weissbrot then taunted the victim’s family.

“His children are better off without him,” she said. “They need to learn to not be like their dad. And enjoy the blood money, kids.”

“He’s responsible for more deaths than Osama bin Laden,” Weissbrot added, comparing Thompson to the Al Qaeda leader responsible for the 9/11 terror attacks, “and I remember Americans celebrating when Osama bin Laden was killed. It’s not like we don’t understand heroic violence or when violence is good. That’s, like, as American as America gets.”

When jury selection for Mangione’s trial begins in September, Weissbrot, Rojas, and their fellow “Mangionista” Abril Rios said they plan to set up tables outside the courthouse to educate the public on jury nullification, which occurs when jurors believe the defendant committed the crime in question, but vote to acquit anyway.

Mollie Crane-Newman, the Daily News’ Manhattan Courts reporter, posted a 94-second video of her outlet’s interaction with the “Mangionistas” on the social media platform X.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the video had more than 4 million views.

Through his legal team, however, Mangione disavowed his fans’ comments.

“These individuals do not represent the views of Luigi, nor the tens of thousands who have shown their support from around the world,” attorney Karen Friedman Agnifilo said in a statement.

“The only people who speak for Luigi are his attorneys. We condemn these vile and irresponsible statements that have no place in the discourse around these cases.”

Fox News noted that Rojas and Lena Weissbrot made their statements while wearing press badges issued by Democratic Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s Office of Media and Entertainment.

The outlet quoted mainstream journalists as expressing dismay that the social media influencers were issued press credentials.

“Why are activist morons impersonating reporters?” the New York Post’s Miranda Devine asked.

Investigative journalist Michele McPhee commented, “I cannot believe they were issued press passes! Incredibly dangerous. And what exactly are their qualifications? We really need to stop treating influencers like journalists.”

Fox even quoted Mamdani himself questioning the wisdom of issuing media credentials to “Mangionistas.”

“Those three individuals should not have received press passes,” he said.

“There is a good-natured debate to be had about where a press pass should extend and where it shouldn’t. However, the three people that we are talking about don’t fall within that debate,” he said.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy lit up a Senate hearing Tuesday in a blistering exchange with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), turning what Democrats hoped would be an ethics ambush into a full-blown counterattack over the senator’s own campaign funding.

Gillibrand, the radical left New York senator who loves lecturing everyone else about “ethics,” tried to play gotcha over Duffy’s “Great American Road Trip” – a seven-month, family-friendly project promoting America’s 250th anniversary (America250).

The trip was sponsored by private companies like Boeing, Toyota, United Airlines, Shell, and Enterprise through a nonprofit partnership.

No taxpayer dollars funded the Duffy family’s costs, and it was pre-cleared by ethics officials. But that didn’t stop the insufferable Democrat from grandstanding.

But when Gillibrand pressed the issue, Duffy didn’t just defend himself, he went straight for the jugular.

GILLIBRAND: “Your [America250] road trip was paid for by companies you oversaw!”

Duffy wasn’t having any of it. He flipped the script faster than a liberal flipping positions on borders, and DEMOLISHED her with cold, hard facts about her own sleazy cash grab from the trial lawyers she’s supposed to oversee.

DUFFY: “Do YOU have jurisdiction over law firms? You received $7 MILLION DOLLARS from the TRIAL BAR!”

GILLIBRAND: “Oh my god!”

DUFFY: “You receive $7 MILLION DOLLARS, and you have jurisdiction on the trial bar! Want me to go on the list of WHAT ELSE you received?”

Gillibrand desperately tried to redirect.

GILLIBRAND: “This hearing is about YOU!”

DUFFY: “I didn’t make any money [on the road trip]. Maybe YOU should answer for getting $7 MILLION from the trial bar! $7 MILLION. That goes in state dinners, to put your ad on TV, that’s all to YOU! YOU spend that money.”

The Democrat tried one last desperate attack, whining about Duffy “using his position for political ways.”

DUFFY: “$500K from the TRIAL BAR to fly you on a PRIVATE JET! They paid for you to fly. Answer to that. I made NOTHING. They put your face on TV, your dinners, your vacations. I make NOTHING on this. I make no money.”

Mic drop. Duffy EXPOSED Gillibrand as the ultimate swamp creature, raking in millions from the very special interests she regulates while pretending to clutch her pearls over a patriotic road trip that celebrates America.

Congressman Thomas Massie lost his primary election to Trump-endorsed Ed Gallrein on Tuesday evening amid Trump’s RINO revenge tour.

Earlier Tuesday, President Trump slammed the Kentucky lawmaker in a rare X post.

“Horrible Congressman Thomas Massie put out an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country,” Trump said on Tuesday.

“I endorsed Ed Gallrein, a true American Patriot, which Massie knows full well, so the statement that he put out is fraudulent, just like HE is fraudulent. WITHDRAW YOUR FAKE STATEMENT, MASSIE, RIGHT NOW! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump said.

The outlets called the race as Gallrein was ahead by nearly 10 points.

President Trump earlier this year launched a revenge tour to oust RINOs – and so far, he has largely succeeded.

Several Indiana state senate RINOs recently got ousted after they refused to redraw their state’s congressional map.

On Saturday night, RINO Senator Bill Cassidy lost his primary, so Trump is on a roll.

Trump celebrated the win on Tuesday.
