Austin Police on Sunday told residents to shelter in place amid reports of multiple shootings.

The Austin Police Department is looking for two suspects involved in as many as 10 shootings since Saturday.

Two of the shootings were at fire stations in South Austin.

At least four people are injured.

“SHELTER IN PLACE: Austin Police officers continue to search for suspects located to multiple shootings and have issued a shelter in place in the areas of South Slaughter Ln, East McKinney Falls Pkwy, North Ben White Blvd., and West Escarpment Blvd. Residents in the surrounding area are instructed to stay indoors until further notice,” The Austin PD said.

Austin Mayor Kirk Watson and Chief Lisa Davis provided a briefing on the developing situation.

Police described the suspects as two Hispanic males in their late teens.

The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects accused of multiple shootings on Saturday and Sunday.

The suspects have carried out up to 10 attacks, injuring as many as four people, according APD Chief Lisa Davis. One victim sustained serious injuries, and the other three have minor injuries.

According to police, there is no specific motive to the shootings, and they appear to be random. At least two of the shootings occurred at Austin fire stations, and most of the shootings have occurred in South Austin.

They are driving a black or dark blue 2012 Hyundai Sonata with a broken right passenger window, pictured below. Police said the suspects have been stealing and switching vehicles. The suspects may also be driving a gold Hyundai sedan, silver Mazda four-door or a white Kia Optima, police said. Davis has urged residents to not leave their vehicles unlocked.

After the state of Nebraska finally agreed to end in-state tuition for illegals, according to a report at Campus Reform, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln professor is unsurprisingly calling out state officials.

“Crystal E. Garcia, an associate professor in UNL’s Department of Educational Administration, wrote in a social media post that Nebraska students were facing “hits to supports” after state officials moved to end tuition benefits for illegal immigrants and the university dissolved its Office of Gender and Sexuality.”

In other words, DEI and pandering to Illegals or else.

“The comments came after the DOJ challenged Nebraska’s tuition policies in federal court. The DOJ argued that the state’s previous system violated federal law by allowing illegal immigrants to receive in-state tuition rates and financial aid benefits unavailable to some American citizens from other states.”

It shouldn’t have taken DOJ involvement to end this illegal and immoral practice in the first place.

“Nebraskans expect that illegal aliens won’t get the benefit of in-state tuition and financial aid, and federal law forbids it,” Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen said in a statement supporting the move. ”

This should hardly be a source of friction, as they are called illegal aliens for a reason; someone breaking federal law is clearly not entitled to special treatment.

The fact that many professors disagree is an indictment of our education system.

This professor who complained has a history of research focusing on “racially minoritized college students,” student affairs, and campus climate issues in higher education.”

Woke won’t go away so easily despite federal law.

The professor’s post also “referenced the university’s decision to dissolve its Office of Gender and Sexuality. The university recently announced that the office’s services and staff would be reorganized under Student Culture and Community, according to a university announcement.”

Clearly, despite the hard-fought efforts of the Trump administration to end DEI and enforce federal law regarding illegal aliens, the universities are resisting common sense.

Colleges clearly remain opposed to common sense and would, on the whole, prefer to engage in Wokeness.

Two Navy EA-18G Growler jets collided mid-air Sunday afternoon during the Gunfighter Skies air show at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, sending both crews ejecting and triggering a full lockdown of the military installation.

The shocking incident occurred in front of thousands of people who had packed the base for the first major air show there since 2018.

Video captured at the scene shows the two aircraft, part of the Navy’s VAQ-129 Growler Demo Team, coming together in close formation before slamming into each other.

Moments later, four parachutes deployed.

The base was immediately placed on lockdown while emergency responders rushed to the scene.

Kim Sykes, the marketing director with Silver Wings of Idaho, told the Associated Press that all four crew members ejected and landed safely.

The Gunfighter Skies 2026 air show, themed “Freedom Takes Flight,” was celebrating America’s 250th birthday and featured a mix of historic warbirds and modern fighter jets, including performances by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

The cause of Sunday’s collision remains under investigation.

High winds have been reported in the area all weekend, and some attendees noted that portions of the show had already been affected by the weather.

Embattled former FBI Director James Comey on Sunday called on the legion of Deep State prosecutors to “hang on” until Trump leaves office.

Comey appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday to trash the Trump Administration as he awaits his trial.

This is Comey’s third media appearance since a grand jury from the Eastern District of North Carolina indicted him on two felony counts:

COUNT ONE: Knowingly and willfully make a threat to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon, the President of the United States;

COUNT TWO: knowingly and willfully did transmit in interstate and foreign commerce a communication that contained a threat to kill the President, Donald J. Trump

James Comey has insisted that he is innocent.

On Sunday, Comey told the legion of Deep State prosecutors to “hang on” for 2 and a half more years so they can rebuild the Justice Department.

“If you’re bragging about forcing out career prosecutors and agents because the president doesn’t like a lawful investigation they conducted, something is seriously broken at the top,” Comey said.

“I’m urging them, hang on two and a half years, and then we can rebuild these institutions,” Comey added.

Comey’s call to the Deep State prosecutors comes after former CIA Director John Brennan admitted there is a “legion” of operatives in the DOJ and CIA resisting Trump’s orders.

“There’s still a legion of professionals in the law enforcement environment, Department of Justice, as well as the CIA and other places,” Brennan said last week to MSNOW host Nicolle Wallace.

“The ones who are refusing to follow politically motivated prosecutions, those who are refusing to support any type of political activities in the part of the Trump administration that are inconsistent with the authorities, the responsibilities of the intelligence community, law enforcement community, and Department of Justice,” Brennan confidently said to Nicolle Wallace.

“So, we have to rely on these individuals to stand up to their professional responsibilities and also to courts, to the judges…” Brennan said.

They don’t even hide it anymore.

The cooperation between the US and the new Venezuela continues to bear fruit.

54-year-old Colombian businessman Alex Saab, a close ally of former Venezuelan Dictator Nicolás Maduro, has been reportedly extradited to the US.

He had been arrested in February, in a joint US-Venezuelan operation, and was extradited to the US yesterday (16), less than three years after being pardoned by feeble Joe Biden.

Saab’s deportation was announced in a press release from Venezuela’s Ministry of Justice, which was shared on Instagram.

“Alex Saab, 54, a Colombian-Venezuelan businessman described by US officials as a close ally to Maduro was arrested in Caracas during a joint US-Venezuelan operation in February, according to a US law enforcement official.

‘The deportation was ordered considering that the aforementioned Colombian citizen is involved in the commission of various crimes in the United States of America, as is public knowledge and widely reported’, the statement continued.”

Alex Saab, Nicolás Maduro’s longtime financial frontman, has arrived at Opa Locka airport in Miami.
