Two female fighters face off during a weigh-in event, showcasing their competitive spirit before an upcoming match in a mixed martial arts promotion.

It took Ronda Rousey just 17 seconds to defeat Gina Carano during Saturday night’s Netflix MMA fight.

During the highly anticipated double-comeback fight streamed live on Netflix, Rousey charged out of her corner at the opening bell, immediately tackled Gina Carano to the mat at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, and locked in her trademark armbar.

Carano quickly tapped out, handing the former UFC champion a lightning-fast victory.

The bout was the headline event on the MVP MMA’s card, Netflix’s first-ever live mixed martial arts event.

After the fight, Rousey and Carano embraced in the center of the cage, exchanged warm words, and raised each other’s arms in a show of respect.

Rousey, who had not fought in nine-and-a-half years and was returning after focusing on family life following the birth of two children, called the finish “beautiful martial arts.”

“I was hoping to come out as unscathed as possible,” Rousey said. “I didn’t really want to hurt her. Luckily, it was beautiful martial arts, that’s what I think it was. It was art.”

Carano, 44, had been out of MMA for 17 years after transitioning to acting. She admitted she wanted the fight to last longer, but showed class in her defeat.

“I wanted that to last longer,” Carano said of the match. “I felt so ready. I’ve never felt that good. But I haven’t been here for 17 years … and I wanted to hit her.”

Rousey did not want the fight to last longer, saying, “Hell no. My husband and my kids are watching me. I don’t want to put them through anything more than I have to.”

Rousey announced that this was her final fight and that she is retiring on top.

Carano left the door open for future bouts, and promoter Nakisa Bidarian said he would love to feature her again.

Marco Rubio during an interview on NBC.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has seemingly poured cold water on his own presidential ambitions by indicating he would support J.D. Vance in 2028.

In an interview with NBC News, Rubio was asked about whether he would want to run for the Republican nomination himself.

He responded:

I’m going to be in this job for the next two and a half years. I’m going to do that job. I’m going to finish the job for this president. I’m enjoying it very much. I think we’re going to make a lot of good things happen.

JD is a very good friend of mine. If JD runs for president. I think he’d be a phenomenal candidate. I’ve said publicly, and I’ll say it again, I’ll be the first person to sign up and support him. I think JD would do great.

Rubio was then asked whether he would be interested in the job of vice-president:

I want to be the secretary of state, and I’ll worry about the future in the future. I’m not telling you that that’s what I’m aiming for.

You know, I’ve been doing this for a long time, too. I was in the Senate starting in 2010 so I’d like to do some other things with my life at some point, although public service is an honor to be able to be involved in.

Watch the clip below:

According to Real Clear Polling, Vance still remains the runaway favorite to take the nomination in 2028.

The latest polling average has Vance at a comfortable 40.5 percent, a 20.2 percent lead over Rubio.

In third place is Donald Trump Jr. on 11.2 percent, followed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on 8.2 percent, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on 3 percent and Tucker Carlson on 2.3 percent.

President Trump has given his endorsement to the pair running together, describing the pair as a “dream team” presidential ticket.

Kansas Judge Blocks Ban on Sex Change Treatments for ‘Transgender’ Kids, Claiming It Violates State Constitution and Parental Rights

Kansas Judge Blocks Ban on Sex Change Treatments for ‘Transgender’ Kids, Claiming It Violates State Constitution and Parental Rights

Portrait of a judge in formal attire with glasses, set against a dark background, showcasing professionalism and authority.

A Kansas state judge has temporarily blocked enforcement of a law banning sex change treatments for “transgender” minors, declaring the ban likely unconstitutional under the Kansas Constitution.

On Friday, District Court Judge Carl Folsom III issued a preliminary injunction halting the state’s 2025 ban, Senate Bill 63, known as the “Help Not Harm Act.”

The Republican-controlled legislature passed the measure over the veto of Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly. It prohibits doctors from providing puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or other gender transition treatments to anyone under 18.

The ruling was part of a lawsuit filed by two transgender teenagers, identified in court records as Lily Loe and Ryan Roe, and their parents.

The families, represented by the ACLU of Kansas and the law firm Ballard Spahr, argued the ban interferes with parents’ right to make medical decisions for their children.

In his opinion, Judge Folsom wrote that the Kansas Constitution protects “personal autonomy,” which includes “the fundamental right of parents to the care, custody and control of their minor children.”

The judge described genderbending care as “the treatment with the most evidence of being helpful to treat gender dysphoria” and said it is “harmful to withhold medical treatment or withdraw medical treatment in progress that is safe, effective, and medically indicated.”

The ACLU celebrated the ruling.

“This is an enormous relief to our clients and families across the state of Kansas,” said Harper Seldin, Senior Staff Attorney for the ACLU’s LGBT & HIV Rights Project, in a press release. “The medical care unjustly banned by this law serves as the foundation of young transgender people’s entire lives and helps give them the future all young people deserve. Any decision about this medical care should be between families and their doctors, and today’s order from the court restores that fundamental principle. We will continue to challenge this law until Kansas is a safe place to raise every family.”

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach immediately condemned the decision as “a stark example of judicial activism” in a statement provided to local station KSHB.

Kobach stated the judge “invented a new constitutional right” because the Kansas Constitution says nothing about such a parental right to obtain treatments that would otherwise be illegal for minors.

The state will file an immediate appeal, Kobach vowed.

The temporary injunction will remain in effect until the full lawsuit goes to trial.

A date for the trial has not been scheduled yet.

Senator Cory Booker discusses redistricting and its historical implications during a live news segment amid a crowd advocating for voting rights.

Sen. Cory Booker appeared on MSNOW Saturday from a voting rights protest in Montgomery, Alabama, and delivered exactly the kind of dramatic, race-obsessed rhetoric that has become standard inside the modern Democrat Party.

Booker was in Alabama as thousands of activists rallied against recent redistricting decisions and Republican-backed congressional maps.

The demonstration, billed as part of a national day of action, drew civil rights activists and Democrat politicians to Montgomery as left-wing groups accused conservative states of weakening Black political representation.

But Booker did not simply criticize redistricting. He compared today’s political fight over congressional maps to some of the darkest moments in American history.

“I’m here in Alabama because my roots are here,” Booker said. “I’m here because I know very consciously I’m the descendant of slaves in this country.”

Booker then invoked infamous Supreme Court rulings such as Dred Scott, Plessy v. Ferguson, and Korematsu, claiming Americans in past eras did not accept “limitations of our democracy” but instead fought for “bolder freedoms.”

That comparison is outrageous.

The current redistricting debate is not slavery, nor is it Jim Crow. It is not a government forcing Americans into separate schools, denying basic citizenship, or placing Japanese Americans into internment camps.

The issue is whether states can draw congressional maps in a way that heavily considers race—and whether Democrats can continue treating certain districts as guaranteed political property.

The Supreme Court recently allowed Alabama Republicans to pursue a congressional map more favorable to the GOP after a lower court had blocked the plan, while broader redistricting fights continue across southern states ahead of the midterms.

Booker still framed the issue as an echo of the post-Reconstruction era.

“We see legislatures like this one here drawing congressional maps … to stop African-Americans from having a voice in Congress,” Booker claimed.

That statement reveals the Democrats’ entire strategy. They do not argue as if Americans are individual citizens with equal rights. They argue as if racial groups are entitled to specific political outcomes, specific districts, and specific numbers of representatives.

Booker even said estimates show “10 to 25” Black representatives could be lost, as if Congress is supposed to be organized by racial quota rather than voters choosing candidates in lawful districts.

When asked whether Democrats could still win the House despite GOP gerrymandering, Booker insisted the issue was not partisan.

“I’m here in Alabama not because of partisan politics,” Booker claimed. “I’m here because I want to save our Democratic system.”

That is absurd. Democrats have gerrymandered aggressively for years in states such as Illinois, New York, Maryland, and California. They only discover moral outrage when Republican legislatures use the same political tools against them.

Even the interview itself was chaotic. Loud rally noise, music, and speeches could be heard in the background as Booker tried to turn a redistricting dispute into a civil rights crisis.

The truth is simple: Democrats are panicking because the Supreme Court is no longer rubber-stamping every race-based political scheme.

Booker’s MSNOW appearance showed the left’s redistricting argument for what it really is—a desperate attempt to use America’s painful history to protect Democratic power in the present.

Two men engage in a thoughtful discussion at a table, with one man in a blue sweater and glasses attentively listening while the other speaks.

A veteran CIA-funded physicist and longtime Pentagon extraterrestrial advisor has publicly claimed that the United States government has recovered bodies from at least four different extraterrestrial species in crashed UFO incidents.

Dr. Hal Puthoff, 89, a Stanford-trained quantum physicist who previously led remote-viewing programs for the CIA and advised the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP), made the explosive assertion during an appearance on Steve Bartlett’s “The Diary of a CEO” podcast this week.

“People who have been involved in recoveries have said there are at least four types. Four separate types,” Puthoff said. “Now I have not had direct access to that, but I believe the people whom I talked to — four separate types of life.”

WATCH:

Puthoff’s longtime collaborator, Dr. Eric Davis, another former AAWSAP insider, previously identified the four species as Grays, Nordics, Insectoids (also called Mantids), and Reptilians.

According to Davis, all four are humanoid in appearance with two arms, two legs, and a basic human-like body plan.

He describes them as follows:

  • Grays: Small, hairless beings with massive black eyes.
  • Nordics: Tall, human-looking entities resembling people from Northern Europe.
  • Reptilians: Scaly, lizard-like creatures that walk upright, often with tails.
  • Insectoids/Mantids: Bug-like humanoids that resemble praying mantises.

The claims echo 2023 congressional testimony from former Air Force intelligence officer David Grusch, who stated under oath that the government possesses “non-human biologics” recovered from multiple crash sites as part of a long-running secret retrieval program.
