Virginia Democratic Governor Abigail Spanberger erupted in anger on social media Friday after the Supreme Court refused to reinstate the state’s new congressional map that Democrats openly designed to flip up to four House seats in the 2026 midterms.

The high court’s one-sentence order left in place a 4-3 ruling from the Virginia Supreme Court that struck down the redistricting amendment on procedural grounds, meaning the state will use its existing 2021 congressional districts for the upcoming elections.

Spanberger took to X to lash out at both the state and federal courts, claiming they had “nullified an election” and the votes of more than three million Virginians.

The Supreme Court of the United States has now joined the Supreme Court of Virginia in choosing to nullify an election and the votes of more than three million Virginians.

These Virginians made their voices heard — casting their ballots in good faith to push back against a President who said he’s “entitled” to more seats in Congress before voters go to the polls.

As Governor, I will make sure voters know when and how to cast their votes this year. Because our votes are how we choose the representation we deserve.

Spanberger later shared a link on her personal campaign account directing supporters to donate to Democratic congressional candidates via ActBlue.

The redistricting drama began when the Democrat-controlled Virginia General Assembly pushed through a constitutional amendment allowing mid-decade redrawing of congressional maps.

Voters approved the measure by a slim 51.7% to 48.3% margin on April 21.

The new map was widely viewed as a heavy partisan gerrymander that would have shifted Virginia’s congressional delegation from its current 6-5 Democratic advantage to as many as 10-1.

However, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled earlier this month that Democrats violated the state constitution by failing to follow proper procedural timelines for placing the referendum on the ballot, specifically, the second legislative vote came too late, after early voting had already begun.

Democrats filed an emergency appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court, but the justices declined to intervene in a brief, unsigned order with no noted dissents.

With the May 12 deadline for map changes long passed, the state will be forced to proceed with the existing 2021 maps for the 2026 midterms.

Texas DPS commonly uses a brush team to go after illegals trying to avoid detection while hiding in the brush.

TGP reported last month that the DPS, and Border Patrol captured five illegals, two of them considered special interest illegal aliens from Azerbaijan hiding in the brush in Starr County.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution gives the federal government the authority and responsibility to protect the US from an invasion.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

Republican Sen. Tim Sheehy weighed in on the revelation in a post on X.

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God referred to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas using a racial slur during an appearance on The Daily Show this week.

Charlamagne, whose real name is Lenard McKelvey, made the remark during his recurring “In My Opinion” segment while discussing comments from Sen. Chris Coons about President Donald Trump and speculation over a possible third term.

“Mr. Coons’ is actually my nickname for Clarence Thomas,” Charlamagne said.

He then argued that Trump’s comments about remaining in office should not be treated as harmless jokes.

“Nope. Jokes about abusing power don’t hit as hard when you’re actually abusing power, okay?

”It’s like breaking out a whoopee cushion after you already shit your pants in the middle of a meeting. Nobody’s in the mood to laugh, okay?” he said.

Charlamagne went on to say that even if Trump is joking, repeated rhetoric can take on a life of its own.

“Even if Trump is kind of joking, he’s doing it in a way that’s becoming real,” he said.

The comment marks the second time in recent weeks that The Daily Show has aired racially charged remarks directed at Thomas.

Last month, guest host Josh Johnson referred to the justice as an “Uncle Tom” while discussing a Supreme Court ruling involving congressional redistricting.

Thomas was born into extreme poverty in segregated Pin Point, Georgia, where he was raised largely by his strict grandfather after his father left the family.

Growing up in Jim Crow, he briefly trained for the priesthood, then attended Holy Cross and Yale Law School.

He went on to serve in the Reagan administration, lead the EEOC, and sit on the powerful D.C. Circuit Court.

Thomas was nominated to the Supreme Court in 1991 and survived an explosive confirmation battle in which Democrats attempted to discredit him with claims of sexual assault.

He has since become one of the most influential conservative justices in modern history.

South Carolina’s Lancaster County Council voted unanimously last week to deny a conditional-use permit for a proposed Islamic Mosque and community center in the Indian Land area after angry residents passionately spoke out against it.

The rejection came after more than two hours of intense public testimony in which multiple residents warned that the mosque would import Sharia law and represent an ideological takeover incompatible with American values.

One resident went viral after she declared, “This is not about a place of worship; this is not about religion; Islam is not a religion, it’s a takeover.”

She went on to read a passage from the Quran, which states, “Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.”

“I just want to say this is not about a place of worship. This is not about religion. Islam is not a religion; it’s a takeover. And if you’ve done any studies, if you listen to any of the news media, you will find out that that is true,” she added.

Neighbors speaking out against it raised both practical and ideological concerns.

“We do not want Sharia law in this area,” another resident said during the meeting.

Council Chair Brian Carnes repeatedly tried to steer testimony back to land-use and infrastructure issues such as traffic and compatibility with the residential neighborhood, reminding speakers that the proceeding was quasi-judicial and could not consider religious beliefs directly.

Despite this, multiple residents made their cultural and ideological objections explicit.

Wilfredo Rivera, who lives next door, said the applicant never disclosed the mosque plans when purchasing the property.

Others warned that the already-congested smaller roads in the rapidly growing area near Charlotte would become unbearable.

The applicant, Arafath Mohammad of Waxlan Investments LLC, had purchased the 5-acre residential property in January and sought permission to build or convert it into a roughly 3,000-square-foot mosque and community center.

South Carolina has a long legislative history of resisting Sharia law in state courts. In 2016, the state House passed a bill explicitly banning Sharia from judicial consideration.
