Today on The Five, Greg Gutfeld took aim at CNN polling, specifically their polling guru, Harry Enten. Greg pointed out that Enten’s polling swings wildly from side to side, with news favoring Democrats one day and Trump or Republicans the next. It is a valid point.

From there, he pivoted to the midterms, suggesting that no one really knows what is going to happen and saying that if Democrats were presented accurately, they would never win.

Finally, he made a point about Democrats dishonestly representing themselves with certain credentials, whether it’s doctor, veteran, or something lese.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld called out CNN’s Harry Enten on Wednesday, claiming the data guru’s constant “shock” polls were “all a scam.”

Gutfeld’s remarks on The Five came during a segment on a recent poll discussed by Enten on Tuesday, where he pointed out that Democrats have gone from voters’ preferred choice to control Congress at plus-six points in March of last year to just plus-three points now…

Host Jessica Tarlov dismissed the numbers, noting, “There is a Harry Enten clip for everything.”

Gutfeld later uncharacteristically agreed with Tarlov, calling out Enten for constantly providing “shiny objects” for both political parties to grasp at.

“I am actually going to agree with Jessica. I am tired of Harry Enten,” said Gutfeld. “First of all, we aren’t babies where we can be abruptly entranced by a new shiny object, and in this case, it’s always the everyday; it’s a shock poll, and one provides dopamine for Jessica, the next day, a shower of serotonin for Jesse [Watters].”

Gutfeld claimed that Enten benefited from the “scam,” telling viewers to ignore his numbers.

“It’s all a scam! Don’t listen to it,” he said. “You never know how things are going to turn out because Republicans don’t talk about how they vote. That’s how Trump surprised everybody.”

The Democrats have not changed one thing since 2024. If they do somehow win back the House in 2026, expect to see an almost exact replay of what they did after winning back the House in Trump’s first term.

They have learned absolutely nothing.

One of the things you’ve heard a lot of in recent months is that voters like authentic candidates. People who are not acting but just being themselves is popular, largely due to Trump, who pulls this off effortlessly.

Democrats struggle with this. They come off as polished and rehearsed. They are perceived as saying things just to please the people in front of them at any given time, not because they actually believe what they are saying.

In the video below, Pete Buttigieg and another Democrat are seen being coached on how to appear authentic and normal. Buttigieg even cracks a joke about it at one point.

They’re so bad at this.

Democrats campaigning in Pennsylvania inadvertently posted a video online, giving a look behind the curtain of their 2026 midterm strategy and how they’re preparing to appear more authentic and win back voters who felt “left behind.”

The clip, viewed by Fox News Digital and not previously reported, shows Democratic Pennsylvania candidate Bob Brooks in a conversation with Biden-era Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who couldn’t even remember what district he was campaigning in. The pair received coaching from an off-screen staffer, urging them to stay on message.

“Think about your audience,” the staffer prompted. “Why is this race so important? We need to win the House [of Representatives] — all of that. Winning over people who feel like they’re left behind by the party, flipping the district. All of that, I think, is really strong, showing up for working people, affordability.”

The rare look at a behind-the-scenes campaign moment, filmed by Democratic campaign arm The Bench, highlights the efforts the party is taking to underscore affordability, appeal to everyday voters and come across as naturally as possible after losing swaths of their base in the 2024 election.

“We are going to have a really normal conversation with three cameras pointing at you,” the staffer joked.

“Everybody act normal,” Buttigieg chuckled.

When it comes to politics and the media, we live in very stupid times and this story is proof.

Now that Democrats have utterly failed to redistrict the state of Virginia, the liberal media outlet Politico is reporting that the Dems are pivoting to a ‘new’ strategy of demonizing Trump and blaming him for everything.

This is new? Really? That’s news to us. It sounds like the oldest Democrat strategy in the book. Haven’t they been doing this since at least 2015?

Democrats are changing their redistricting strategy — again.

Just two weeks after House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries promised to invoke “maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time,” his side has been forced to shift drastically into a defensive posture thanks to a pair of court rulings that moved the House map toward the GOP.

Now, with little to no chances left to redistrict ahead of November to counter GOP gains of 10 favorable House seats or more, Democrats are stuck doing something they know all too well: blaming President Donald Trump, and hoping it will spur voters to turn out for them in the midterms.

In statements and interviews since Virginia’s Supreme Court struck down state Democrats’ new congressional map and the high court narrowed the Voting Rights Act, the party is arguing that Republicans’ aggressive moves to dismantle Black- and Hispanic-majority districts in the South will outrage voters of color and spur them to the polls in record numbers.

“Given the highly unfavorable political environment confronting House Republicans, the extremists will not meaningfully benefit from their scandalous gerrymandering scheme,” Jeffries said in a Monday “Dear Colleague” letter. “Quite the opposite. Democratic enthusiasm and resolve have grown more intense.”

This story highlights one the biggest challenges that Democrats are having right now. They are not offering anything new to the American people.

Since the 2024 election, all they have done is stomp their feet and obstruct. There is no new plan, new ideas, or self reflection. They have not paused for a single minute to ask themselves why they lost so badly in 2024. It’s as if they don’t even want to know.

They’re like spoiled children who just want what they want and want it right now.

They haven’t earned the right to be in power again. They haven’t even tried.

On Tuesday morning, New York City’s ultra-progressive mayor, Zohran Mamdani, took to X to take quite a boastful victory lap.

“When we came into office, we uncovered a $12 billion budget deficit,” Mamdani posted to X. “Today, I’m proud to say we brought it down to zero.”

“We didn’t close the gap on the backs of working people,” he continued. “We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets and making historic investments in public housing. Call it Pothole Politics. Call it Democratic Socialism. It’s government that delivers for the people who make this city run.”

“That’s what New Yorkers deserve. And that’s what we will keep fighting for every single day.”

His post came accompanied with a slickly produced video, which you can view for yourself below:

In a vacuum, this certainly sounded like it should’ve been a good Tuesday for NYC residents. But shortly after Mamdani’s post went up, the New York Post came out with a blistering rebuttal of Mamdani’s claims — and a much closer look at the numbers that Mamdani largely avoided delving into.

Blasted for including “a menu of hidden fee hikes” in his budget plan, the outlet pointed out that this deficit “fix” from Mamdani was anything but.

And notably, some of the harshest criticisms lobbied against Mamdani came from a fellow Democrat.

“Banking on yet to be determined revenue-raising gimmicks and identifying fake savings are not wins,” an unnamed Democratic operative told the New York outlet.

The operative savagely added, “This budget plan is as real as Kim Kardashian’s lips.”

So why is this budget plan so inauthentic?

Critics argue that the holes in Mamdani’s budget vision become glaringly obvious once you look beyond the lofty rhetoric and into the actual revenue proposals being floated by City Hall.

According to city budget documents cited by the New York Post, officials are eyeing a laundry list of new fees, fines, and enforcement crackdowns to help plug fiscal gaps.

These include dramatically increasing ambulance transportation costs, charging New Yorkers for EMS responses even if they refuse hospital transport, issuing more bus lane tickets, ramping up enforcement against the trade waste industry and wholesale markets, raising tree replacement fees, and aggressively auditing property owners tied to the popular STAR tax relief program.

Perhaps adding taxpayer insult to injury, a pessimistic political insider told the New York Post: “There’s not enough savings at all.”

That’d be a sobering analysis even without the extra hikes and fees.

“The only good thing is he gave on property tax and the rainy day fund,” the insider said. “Otherwise, the budget is not where it needs to be at all.”

Other expected fallout from Mamdani’s budget plan includes slashing Department of Veterans’ Services events and cutting sanitation programs.
