Newly-released dashcam footage shows troubled singer Britney Spears arguing with California Highway Patrol officers before she was arrested for driving under the influence earlier this year.
Britney Spears was officially charged with a misdemeanor last month in connection with a DUI she got in March.
Britney Spears recently checked into rehab for drugs and alcohol after she was arrested for DUI in Southern California.
Britney’s manager, Cade Hudson, told TMZ that Spears is going to take steps to comply with the law.
“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time,” Hudson told TMZ.
Page Six obtained dispatch audio that revealed Britney Spears was swerving ‘in and out’ of lanes before she was pulled over.
“Black BMW sedan in and out of lanes… speeding,” the dispatch audio revealed.
TMZ previously reported that the 44-year-old was taken to a hospital to have her blood drawn after she was pulled over and arrested for driving while intoxicated in Ventura, California.
The dashcam video shows Britney Spears arguing with police and later claiming it’s “illegal” for them to take her blood.
Spears admitted to taking Adderall, Prozac, and Lamictal earlier in the day before her arrest.
The singer also told police she had a mimosa and a “baby champagne” in the morning.
Spears slurred her speech as she argued with police.
“You have to give blood, okay?” the officer told Britney after she was cuffed and placed in the back of the cruiser.
“That’s illegal!” Britney said. “What you guys are doing is illegal.”
“I don’t have a DUI! I wasn’t even drinking! I had a mimosa this morning!” she insisted.
A fire and explosion at a shipyard on New York City’s Staten Island has injured at least 16 people, including three with serious injuries, the New York Fire Department said.
Someone reported two workers trapped in a confined space at the dock at about 3:30 p.m. Friday, and responding firefighters found a fire burning in the basement of a metal structure at the dock, said Joanne Mariano with the fire department’s press office.
Crews were still fighting the fire when a major explosion occurred at the site roughly 50 minutes later, she said.
The fire was still burning and emergency workers had counted 16 people on site with injuries by 5 p.m., Mariano said, including two firefighters and one civilian with serious injuries.
The FDNY received a report of a fire and workers trapped in a basement about an hour before the explosion.

NY Giants Quarterback Jaxson Dart opens Trump Rally at Rockland Community College – May 22, 2026
President Trump delivered remarks at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, on Friday, and he was welcomed to the stage by New York Giants Quarterback Jaxson Dart, who came out publicly in support of the President.
Dart, the second-year NFL star and Giants’ starting quarterback, has not been a visible supporter of Trump in the past, but has hinted at his politics.
In September 2025, the 23-year-old spoke out against the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
“Praying for him and his family,” he wrote on social media following the horrific scene at Utah Valley University.
“Charlie did great things for our country!! Political Violence NEEDS TO STOP!! Pray for our country man. This is disgusting and sad.”
In another post, Dart wrote, “May God watch over him and his family!”
On Friday, Dart opened the rally for Trump in Suffern, describing it as an “honor” and a “privilege.”
“I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump,” he said before Trump appeared to the tune of Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA.
As Trump emerged on stage, attendees were heard chanting, “USA, USA!”
Trump shook Dart’s hand and hugged him before beginning his speech, where he described Dart as a “future Hall of Famer.”
He then gave a special hello to the crowd in New York, saying he loves the state, but “we gotta straighten this place out.”
911 Call for NASCAR Legend Kyle Busch Released … ‘Coughing Up Blood’ (AUDIO)

Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch passed away on Thursday.
He was 41 years old.
Earlier Thursday, the Busch family released a statement on Kyle Bushch’s deteriorating health and mystery illness:
“Kyle has experienced a severe illness resulting in hospitalization. He is currently undergoing treatment and will not compete in any of his scheduled activities this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We ask for understanding and privacy as our family navigates this situation,” the Busch family said Thursday morning.
On Thursday afternoon, NASCAR announced that Kyle Busch had passed away.
According to the Associated Press, Kyle Busch was found unresponsive in a racing simulator in Concord, North Carolina, the day before he died.
His cause of death is unclear at this time.
“On behalf of the Busch family, everyone at Richard Childress Racing and all of NASCAR, we are devastated to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Kyle Busch,” they said.

The 911 call revealed Kyle Busch was coughing up blood before he passed away.
“I’ve got an individual that’s shortness of breath, very hot, thinks he’s going to pass out and is producing a little bit of blood — coughing up some blood,” the 911 caller said.
