Iran-Linked Terror Plot in Europe: Migrant Spy Ring Accused of Targeting Jewish Leaders in Germany
May 22, 2026

Federal prosecutors in Germany, according to various reports, have charged two men accused of participating in an Iran-linked plot to carry out violent attacks against Jewish leaders, in what officials describe as a chilling escalation of foreign-backed threats on European soil.

The case, naturally, has reignited urgent concerns across the continent about rising anti-Jewish violence, foreign intelligence operations, and the growing vulnerability of Europe’s Jewish communities.

According to prosecutors, a Danish national identified as Ali S. and an Afghan national, Tawab M., are accused of helping to prepare attacks targeting prominent Jewish figures in Germany. Both men face charges related to attempted murder.

Ali S. is also charged with acting as an agent for a foreign intelligence service. Authorities allege he was working on behalf of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.
Investigators say he maintained close ties with the elite Quds Force, a unit known for conducting operations abroad. The allegations point to a coordinated effort reaching far beyond Germany’s borders.

Prosecutors state that in early 2025, Ali S. was tasked with gathering intelligence on high-profile targets. Among them were Josef Schuster, president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, and Volker Beck, head of the German-Israeli Society.

Additional targets reportedly included Jewish businesses in Berlin. Investigators say the intent was to map out potential sites for attacks.

“All of this was intended to facilitate the planning of murder and arson attacks in Germany,” prosecutors said in an official statement.

Authorities allege that Ali S. scouted locations in Berlin and attempted to recruit accomplices. By mid-2025, he had allegedly established contact with Tawab M.

Prosecutors claim Tawab M. offered to help procure weapons. He is also accused of supporting plans to carry out a targeted attack.

The two suspects were arrested separately in Denmark. Ali S. was detained in June 2025, while Tawab M. was arrested several months later in November.

German prosecutors formally filed charges at Hamburg’s state court earlier this month. The case is expected to move forward in the coming weeks.

Following the arrest, Germany summoned Iran’s ambassador. The move underscored the seriousness with which Berlin views the allegations. Tehran, however, has rejected the accusations. Iranian officials described them as “unfounded and dangerous.”

The case comes amid a broader warning from German intelligence services. Authorities say Iran may expand covert operations across Europe
.
Germany’s domestic intelligence agency, the Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (the Office for the Protection of the Constitution), has cautioned that Jewish institutions and Israeli-linked sites could be at increased risk.

Officials have warned that Iranian dissidents living in Europe may also be targeted. Individuals labeled as “traitors” by Tehran are seen as particularly vulnerable.

Across Europe, law enforcement agencies are already investigating a pattern of incidents. These include arson attacks, vandalism, and small explosive devices targeting Jewish and Israeli-linked sites.

Investigators believe some of these attacks may be connected to proxy networks aligned with Iran. The scale and coordination of such activity remain under review.

At the same time, European officials are confronting a growing digital front. Authorities say networks linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have been spreading propaganda online.

According to European People’s Party (EPP) lawmaker Tomáš Zdechovský, thousands of accounts and websites tied to these efforts have been identified. Many have since been removed or blocked.

The Revolutionary Guards were designated as a terrorist organization by the European Union earlier this year. The move followed international outrage over Tehran’s internal crackdown.

The current case, for many onlookers, highlights a broader pattern. Europe is increasingly facing external threats that intersect with internal vulnerabilities
.
Many argue that weak enforcement and fragmented security responses have made the continent more exposed. They warn that foreign actors are exploiting those gaps.

The targeting of Jewish communities has drawn particular concern. Many see it as part of a wider trend of rising anti-Semitic incidents across Europe.

The case raises serious questions from a national security perspective. How effective are current measures in protecting vulnerable communities?

It also underscores the challenges posed by globalized threats. Intelligence operations, proxy networks, and ideological conflicts are increasingly crossing borders.

The stakes couldn’t be higher for policymakers. The need to balance openness with security has become more pressing than ever.

As the investigation continues, authorities say vigilance remains critical. They warn that this case may not be an isolated incident.

For Europe’s Jewish communities, the developments are obviously deeply troubling. The prospect of organized, foreign-backed violence has rightfully heightened fears.

Another corruption scandal has erupted inside the federal contracting world.

The Department of Justice announced Wednesday that two Florida defense contractors were arrested and charged in what prosecutors describe as a bribery and major fraud conspiracy that allegedly corrupted the competitive procurement process for a Department of War technology innovation project in the Pacific.

According to the DOJ, Leonard Pick, 62, of Palm Beach Shores, and Brian Kent, 59, of Tampa, allegedly orchestrated a scheme involving bribery, fraudulent contracting practices, and manipulation of the bidding process tied to the U.S. Army Pacific Command’s Hawaii-Pacific Innovation Campus, a project intended to serve as a hub for testing cutting-edge military technologies.

Federal prosecutors say the alleged fraud struck at the heart of America’s defense procurement system.

According to the indictment unsealed this week in the District of Hawaii, these guys allegedly funneled approximately $1.25 million in bribes over five years to a U.S. Army employee while fraudulently jacking up government contracting costs to hide the payoffs.

Kent is also accused of pocketing an extra $680,000 by routing inflated contract funds straight into his personal consulting business.

According to the press release:

The Justice Department announced criminal charges against Leonard Pick, 62, of Palm Beach Shores, Florida, and Brian Kent, 59, of Tampa, Florida, for orchestrating a bribery and major fraud conspiracy that corrupted the competitive procurement process for a Department of War technology innovation lab in the Pacific. The defendants’ alleged conduct specifically affected the construction and operation of the U.S. Army Pacific Command’s Hawaii-Pacific Innovation Campus, which was intended to be a hub for testing new technologies for the Department of War.

The indictment, filed in the District of Hawaii on May 14 and unsealed today, alleges that, from January 2021 to October 2022, Pick and Kent conspired to bribe a U.S. Army employee with approximately $1.25 million over five years and fraudulently inflated government contracting costs to include the U.S. Army employee’s bribe payments. The indictment further alleges that, from approximately September 2020, up to and including October 2022, defendant Kent further defrauded the government by inflating government contract costs to include approximately $680,000 in payments intended for and sent to Kent’s personal consulting business.

“When defense contractors obtain government-funded work through bribery and fraud, they rob our military and the American people of the benefits of a fair, competitive procurement process,” said Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General Daniel W. Glad of the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division. “The Antitrust Division and its partners in the Procurement Collusion Strike Force will vigorously prosecute those that seek to profit at the expense of American taxpayers.”

[…]

Defendants Pick and Kent are each charged with one count of conspiracy to commit bribery and major fraud against the United States, one count of bribery, one count of major fraud against the United States, and one count of wire fraud. Kent is also charged with a second count of major fraud against the United States. The maximum penalty for conspiracy to commit bribery and major fraud is five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The maximum penalty for bribery is 15 years in prison and a fine of either $250,000 or three times the monetary value of the bribe, whichever is greater. The maximum penalty for major fraud against the United States is 10 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine. The maximum penalty for wire fraud is 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The fines may be increased to twice the gain derived from the crime or twice the loss suffered by the victims of the crime if either amount is greater than the statutory maximum fines. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

A Tennessee man who was thrown in jail for more than a month after posting a Facebook meme mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk has reached a massive settlement with local officials.

According to reports, 61-year-old retired police officer Larry Bushart will receive roughly $835,000 to $850,000 after suing Perry County officials over his arrest and 37-day incarceration tied to social media posts authorities claimed caused “fear” in the community.

Bushart was arrested in September after he refused to delete Facebook memes posted following Kirk’s assassination. One meme reportedly featured President Donald Trump alongside his remark after the 2024 Perry High School shooting in Iowa: “We have to get over it.” Bushart captioned the meme: “This seems relevant today…”

Despite the meme referring to the Iowa school shooting, Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems claimed local residents interpreted it as a threat against Perry County High School in Tennessee, according to AP.

According to The People:

Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems said that some in the county perceived the meme as a threat against a local school, also called Perry County High School. The sheriff’s office asked the police department in Bushart’s town to send an officer to his home. Bodycam video released by Bushart’s attorneys shows that Bushart and the responding officer were confused as to why he had been dispatched.

“So I’m just going to be completely honest with you, I have really no idea what they’re talking about,” the officer said in the video. “He had just called me and said that there was some concerning posts that were made on Facebook. I don’t know exactly what they’re referring to. They said that something was insinuating violence.”

“No it wasn’t,” Larry responded. “I’m not going to take it down.”

Authorities arrested Bushart on a felony charge of threatening mass violence at a school and slapped him with an eye-popping $2 million bond.

The charges were ultimately dropped in October.

Bushart, backed by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), sued the county, the sheriff, and the investigator for allegedly violating his First Amendment rights.

During his time behind bars, he reportedly lost his post-retirement job, missed his wedding anniversary, and was unable to be present for the birth of his granddaughter.

In a statement after the settlement was announced, Bushart said:

“I am pleased my First Amendment rights have been vindicated.”

Tennessee Doubles Down on New Toxicology Law that Broke the Silence on Psychiatric Drugs & Mass Shootings

Republished with permission from AbleChild

Congratulations to Tennessee for taking the lead and setting a powerful example for other states to follow, proving that public safety should be the guiding light.  In the aftermath of the Covenant School mass shooting in Nashville, where three children and three adults were murdered, Tennessee was swept into a political storm that focused almost entirely on gun ownership while pushing urgent questions about psychiatry, toxicology, and transparency to the margins. What followed was a long, bruising fight over whether the state would accept a one-track narrative or demand full disclosure of the medical evidence surrounding mass violence.

Sheila Matthews of AbleChild and Amy Miller, a leading voice on medical freedom for over a decade in Tennessee, pressed the question many lawmakers and institutions did not want asked: what was in Audrey Hale’s system, what psychiatric treatment had been provided, and why was the public being denied access to potentially critical facts? Their position was simple and direct, no honest investigation of mass violence is complete if toxicology, prescription-drug exposure, and treatment history are ignored or withheld.

Long before Covenant, AbleChild had spent years in Connecticut and across the country challenging secrecy around psychiatric drugs and violence, especially after Sandy Hook. Working with CCHR, AbleChild sued for access to Adam Lanza’s toxicology records and pressed Connecticut officials, including State’s Attorney Stephen Sedensky’s office, to stop shielding critical medical evidence from the public. It also helped keep scrutiny on Dr. Paul Fox, Lanza’s treating psychiatrist, whose later criminal case intensified questions about the psychiatric system surrounding one of the most infamous mass killers in American history.

That national history gave force to the Tennessee effort. As anti-gun protests flooded the Capitol and calls for firearm restrictions dominated the debate, AbleChild’s position cut directly against the preferred script: if the goal is prevention, then the state must collect all the evidence, not just the evidence that serves politics. The proposed legislation focused on something basic but explosive, requiring blood testing for therapeutic levels of psychotropic drugs and other relevant substances in mass shooters so the state could no longer claim ignorance while refusing to examine the medical facts.

The first round was hard fought and unsuccessful. In 2023, despite the urgency of the issue, the committee chair did call the bill to be heard but the sponsor wasn’t there to present. It caused a little confusion and then the bill was withdrawn. The proposed bill stalled while the Capitol remained consumed by demands for more gun control. But the bill’s failure did not end the fight; it exposed how fiercely the political system resisted any inquiry that might shift attention from weapons alone to psychiatric treatment, institutional responsibility, and missing data.

Outside the legislature, pressure continued to build. The Tennessee Star played a central role in prying open the larger story, pressing for records, challenging what had been withheld, and keeping public attention on unanswered questions involving Audrey Hale, Vanderbilt, and the suppression of key information. At the same time, the legal war over Hale’s writings and manifesto became part of the same transparency battle, with court fights over whether the public would be allowed to examine the evidence for itself instead of being handed a filtered narrative.

By 2025, the pressure finally broke through. Tennessee passed a landmark law requiring blood testing for therapeutic levels of psychotropic drugs in dead mass shooters, making it the first state in the nation to mandate this kind of focused toxicological inquiry in mass-violence cases. The law made history because it forced the state to gather hard biological evidence instead of hiding behind ideology and slogans.

In 2026, Senator Rusty Crowe moved to strengthen the law further. The amendment broadened the standard from four or more killed to four or more injured, allowing the state to examine far more acts of mass violence instead of limiting review only to the deadliest cases. It also extended testing beyond perpetrators who died at the scene, allowing the killer or accused to volunteer blood or urine testing for therapeutic levels of psychotropic drugs and gender-related drugs. That change transformed the law from a narrow postmortem measure into a broader transparency tool.

What makes Tennessee’s violence bill a landmark is not only that it passed, but that it survived a political environment designed to crush it. This was a long-fought law because it challenged more than gun-policy orthodoxy; it challenged psychiatry, pharmaceutical influence, institutional secrecy, and the state’s power to control what the public gets to know after mass murder. From Sandy Hook to Covenant, AbleChild forced the same issue into the open again and again: if public officials truly want answers, then blood testing for therapeutic levels, treatment history, and drug exposure cannot remain off limits. Investigative journalist Kelly Patricia O’Meara’s landmark Insight magazine investigation, “Guns & Doses,” helped frame the national debate over psychiatric drugs and violence, and she now carries that work forward through her books, including her second book, Still Psyched Out—as a member of AbleChild’s Board of Advisors alongside Joe Hoft author of the Steal – Joehoft.com and contributor to the Gateway Pundit.  Many other volunteers and parents contributed to this effort.

Tennessee’s bill broke the silence on psychiatric drugs and mass shootings because it refused to let the state separate violence from the medical evidence that may surround it. And with Crowe’s 2026 amendment, that fight entered a new phase—one aimed not merely at asking harder questions, but at making sure those questions can no longer be buried.

JUST IN: ‘Fauci Minion and Gain-of-Function Cheerleader’ Jeff Taubenberger Ousted as NIAID Acting Director After White Coat Waste Project’s Year-Long Crusade
May 22, 2026

Image featuring two medical professionals against a backdrop of virus illustrations, highlighting discussions on public health and infectious diseases.

Former Anthony Fauci minion and gain-of-function defender, Dr. Jeffery Taubenberger, has stepped down as Acting Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

Taubenberger, who was quietly installed in April 2025 as Fauci’s successor amid the Trump administration’s overhaul of the federal health bureaucracy, reportedly left his post about two weeks ago.

The departure was publicly confirmed on Thursday during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on the NIH’s 2027 budget when Sen. Tammy Baldwin noted that Taubenberger would not be testifying as planned.

The move comes as part of a sweeping leadership purge at NIAID, where eight of the top ten officials have now been pushed out or reassigned since President Trump took office.

Despite that, Taubenberger’s departure doesn’t appear to be the typical voluntary retirement or bureaucratic shuffle.

Taubenberger’s ouster is more likely the direct result of relentless pressure on the agency, or worse, a cover-up.

No group has been more vocal, or more effective, in demanding Taubenberger’s removal than the White Coat Waste Project (WCW), the taxpayer watchdog organization famous for exposing Fauci’s beagle torture scandals and Wuhan lab funding.

WCW has been hammering Taubenberger’s appointment as a disastrous “vetting failure” since it was announced in late April of last year, just weeks after the Trump team began cleaning house at NIH.

WCW President Anthony Bellotti laid out the damning case in a powerful op-ed for American Greatness on May 1 titled “Fauci’s Lab Leak Henchmen Are Finally Facing Accountability.”

Bellotti detailed how Taubenberger, a longtime Fauci insider and intramural researcher at NIAID since 2006, was not just a passive holdover but an active participant in the COVID lab-leak cover-up machine.

Taubenberger, according to Belotti, co-led efforts with indicted Fauci aide David Morens to undermine Trump’s 2020 ban on gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Additionally, Taubenberger co-authored papers with Morens and Fauci that dismissed the lab-leak theory as “thoroughly discredited” and promoted the natural-origin narrative while protecting EcoHealth Alliance and its Chinese partners.

Emails obtained by WCW through FOIA requests showed Taubenberger was looped in on communications bragging that their work “defends Peter Daszak and his Chinese colleagues.”

WCW has repeatedly highlighted his “Beaglegate”-style experiments, including funding for maximum-pain beagle tests sourced from Ridglan Farms and other grotesque taxpayer-funded abuse.

Taubenberger also resurrected the 1918 Spanish flu virus from a dead body for gain-of-function-style work as emblematic of the reckless “science” he championed.

Bellotti’s op-ed explained:

As recently as 2022, Taubenberger and Morens collaborated with another Fauci-era holdover currently in NIH senior leadership—Matthew Memoli—on taxpayer-funded vaccine tests that infected mice, rabbits, and ferrets with various flu strains, including the deadly 1918 Spanish flu that Taubenberger infamously resurrected in irresponsible gain-of-function experiments.

White Coat Waste has documented how, under Taubenberger, NIAID has continued to dole out new funding for Fauci’s risky bat virus labs and barbaric Beaglegate tests, including one at the University of Missouri that infests puppies purchased from the infamous Ridglan Farms with mutant ticks and denies pain relief.

This hasn’t gone unnoticed. Lawmakers, including Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Rand Paul (R-KY), and Representatives Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and Nancy Mace (R-SC) have called out the NIH for not cutting Fauci’s animal labs, citing White Coat Waste’s investigations. Gosar and 11 Republican colleagues have even submitted language for the 2027 NIH appropriations bill that would condition new spending on cutting off all active Fauci-era NIAID grants.

Under Taubenberger’s watch as Acting Director, NIAID, with its staggering $6.6 billion budget, continued bankrolling risky bat virus research, dangerous virus experiments, and the same cruel animal labs that defined the Fauci era.

White Coat Waste also teamed up with investigative journalist and friend of President Donald Trump, Laura Loomer, to sound the alarm.

In May 2025, just weeks after Taubenberger’s appointment, WCW Senior Vice President Justin Goodman appeared on Loomer’s show Loomer Unleashed to blast the decision.

Loomer highlighted Taubenberger’s role in digging up a corpse to extract the 1918 flu virus for gain-of-function research and questioned why animal abuse projects like “Monkey Island” and dog tick experiments were still being renewed under the Trump administration.

“What happened to cutting waste, fraud, and abuse?” Loomer demanded.

The segment went viral, racking up hundreds of thousands of views and putting the White House and new NIH leadership on notice.

WATCH:

Fast-forward to a year later, this month, and WCW was back on Loomer’s show.

In a May 13 segment, Goodman joined Loomer again to expose how Fauci-era holdovers like Taubenberger and NIAID animal testing czar Nicole Kleinstreuer were still greenlighting cruel pet experiments, including NIH-funded kitten torture at Auburn University and smuggling Ebola-like viruses into the country.

WATCH:

Loomer also quoted WCW directly, urging RFK Jr. to send the list of “anti-Trump, pro-Fauci NIH officials” packing.

Taubenberger’s departure was announced just over a week later.

Daily Caller investigative reporter Emily Kopp credited WCW and Laura Loomer with playing a pivotal role in forcing the administration to act.

In a statement provided to The Gateway Pundit, WCW’s Justin Goodman celebrated the news:

“Good riddance. White Coat Waste has been calling for Jeff Taubenberger’s scalp for over a year as he kept Fauci’s shameful legacy alive by bankrolling more barbaric animal labs and dangerous virus experiments. Taubenberger is a COVID lab leak cover-up co-conspirator, gain-of-function animal experimenter, and maximum-pain beagle lab funder. We’ve been sounding the alarm about Fauci-era holdovers like Taubenberger and Nicole Kleinstreuer undermining President Trump’s proposed NIH reforms, and we are proud that the administration is listening and finally starting to clean house. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Jeff.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier this month, an NIH whistleblower sent a letter to WCW that has blown the lid off senior officials operating in “full coverup mode” to shield Fauci’s former top virologist, Dr. Vincent Munster, amid two horrifying scandals at Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana.

Munster, a longtime Fauci-funded bat-virus mad scientist, has deep ties to gain-of-function research just like Taubenberger, including co-authoring the rejected 2018 DEFUSE proposal, a blueprint for engineering coronaviruses eerily similar to COVID-19.

The FBI has launched a criminal investigation into Munster for smuggling deadly human pathogen samples, including monkeypox virus, from Africa in his luggage. According to the whistleblower letter, the German-born researcher had attempted to transport “dozens of vials” of viral hemorrhagic fever (VHF) samples back into the United States in January.

The whistleblower said that NIH officials kept the entire incident quiet, refused to inform the broader RML campus, and quietly banned Munster and his colleagues from the facility. They said the decision to downplay the smuggling came directly “from the main NIH campus in Bethesda” and that senior officials are now operating in “full coverup mode.”

The same letter alleged that a separate lab accident at RML, first exposed by White Coat Waste in January, involved a staffer being bitten by a macaque monkey infected with Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF), a deadly foreign virus. The bite reportedly penetrated the worker’s protective suit.

Instead of being transparent with RML employees, the incident was allegedly hidden from most of the campus, and the exposed staffer was quietly “flown out” to avoid drawing attention.

Laura Loomer connected the dots in a post on X, writing, “Taubenberger — Fauci’s hand-picked Acting Director of NIAID since April 2025. As the top boss overseeing RML and all NIAID intramural research, he bears direct responsibility for the culture of secrecy and risk that allowed this to happen (and allegedly get covered up). This is the same guy who kept gain-of-function-style work alive, defended risky narratives, and resisted full MAHA reforms.”

“Now, right as an emerging Ebola outbreak is being discussed in Congress — with real-world cases popping up and fears of spillover into the US from Africa— Taubenberger suddenly steps down?” Loomer continued.

Whether cover-up or the agency succumbing to external pressure, Taubenberger’s exit, alongside the broader NIAID purge, sends a clear message that the swamp creatures who lied about COVID origins, tortured animals with your tax dollars, and pushed dangerous experiments are no longer untouchable.

Unfortunately, as WCW has warned, dozens of Fauci loyalists still lurk in the shadows at NIH.

It is well past time to get them out.
