A Louisiana pastor beat up a man who threatened to rape and kill his wife and grandchildren.

Pastor Tony Spell from Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge was arrested on Tuesday and charged with second-degree battery after he pummeled a 20-year-old man who lives across the street from the church.

The 20-year-old reportedly threatened the pastor’s family while he was in the front yard fixing a church bus.

After he bonded out, Pastor Spell went straight to his church and told congregants that he ‘laid hands on the sick,” referencing scripture.

“In my name, they shall lay hands on the sick. And they shall recover. So today, I fulfilled the scripture. I laid hands on the sick. I don’t know how much recovery they’re going to have, but I laid hands on the sick,” Pastor Spell said from the pulpit to applause, WAFB reported.

WAFB reported:

Speaking from the Life Tabernacle Church, where he serves as faith leader, Pastor Spell repeated the alleged threats he says the neighbor hurled at his family.

Pastor Spell said the neighbor told him, “I’m going to rape your wife. I’m going to rape your children, and the next time you’re out of town, I’m going to kill them. Now what are you going to do about it?”

Church members also alleged the neighbor had bullied and yelled insults at them, which included racial slurs.

According to a source with the Central Police Department, Spell’s claims and complaints have not been fully investigated. Sources tell WAFB that police have only received one incident report involving Spell’s family and the neighbors.

In his first church service after being released from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, Pastor Tony Spell spoke from the pulpit, alluding to the confrontation as “domestic terrorism.”

Pastor Tony Spell was arrested for second-degree battery on Tuesday, June 23, accused of attacking a 20-year-old man who lives across the street from the church.

Pastor Spell bonded out and went straight to his church.

Video shows Pastor Spell approaching the 20-year-old man and quickly taking him to the ground.

The pastor repeatedly punched the man and threw his phone in the street.

The young man was taken to the hospital and received stitches on his chin.

Not everyone is upset about the communist takeover of the Democrat Party.

Over on ‘The View’ of ABC News today, the absolutely idiotic hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin praised the development and seemed excited to welcome their new communist overlords into power.

Joy Behar even tried to claim that trash collection and fire departments are forms of democratic socialism that already exist.

Behar opened the praise by touting how erudite New Yorkers supposedly were. “Obviously, New Yorkers aren’t watching Fox constantly and so they’re – and they’re not afraid of the term democratic socialism,” she proclaimed.

She then proceeded to falsely suggest that first responder services, trash collection, and the Ponzi scheme known as Social Security were successful democratic socialist policies in action:

If I fall down, I want an ambulance. If my house is on fire, bring your hose. You know what I mean? (…) I’m not scared of the term. I think they’re scared of the term in this country! But Social Security is a democratic socialism. Partly unemployment insurance is. The people who pick up your garbage, the people who take the fire out of your house. All of these are democratic socialism…

Farah Griffin tried to warn her co-hosts of the extremists they were cheering: “These candidates that were endorsed by DSA, the Democratic Socialists were extreme candidates. And I’ve seen this happen in my party where the extreme right-wing takes over and you can’t get your party back.”

Up next was Hostin, who made it clear she loved the leftist extremism and declared it America’s cultural and political future. “I think that New York is the nation’s cultural and political capital and that’s just a fact. And the Democratic Socialists of America is a force to be reckoned with at this point,” she said.

As the Gateway Pundit recently reported, multiple members of Antifa were just sentenced to a collective 450 years in federal prison for the 2025 attack on an ICE facility in Texas.

Eight members of the group were sentenced to 50 years each. The ringleader got a sentence of 100 years.

People on the radical left are outraged about these sentences because they are not accustomed to seeing their side held accountable by law enforcement, but the media spin has been something to behold.

The same media that called the Tea Party dangerous and racist back in 2010 are now actively trying to spin this major news about Antifa.

Had this attack been carried out by members of the Tea Party or any conservative group, the media would have offered this story as proof that the right is dangerous, but because it’s the radical left, they try to spin it.

And they think no one sees this.

Republican Rep. Randy Fine of Florida was asked by a reporter on Tuesday for his thoughts on the DSA wins in New York City this week and gave a very blunt response.

Fine pointed out that these people are getting elected to Congress with the intention of destroying the United States of America, and of course, he is right.

One has to wonder how any of these people are even going to swear an oath to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States when they are part of an organization that wants to tear it up and rewrite it.

Fine made the remarks while discussing the future of the Democratic Party and rising concerns over antisemitism.

The DSA and the radical left are playing for keeps.

People in the GOP had better start listening to people like Rep. Fine.

The radical communists of the DSA have taken over the Democrat party. With last night’s election in New York City, it’s hard to see how that party will ever be the same again.

Last night after their wins, a group of DSA supporters were seen at a victory event chanting ‘You’re Next’ at Democrat House leader Hakeem Jeffries when he appeared on TV.

The Democrats gave birth to this movement and they can no longer control it. It will come for almost all of them, eventually.

Tuesday’s democratic socialist victories led by Mayor Zohran Mamdani further energized a movement of young Democrats hungry for change. But they also unnerved some Black and Latino New Yorkers who say gentrification threatens to leave them politically and literally homeless.

A viral video of a crowd erupting into boos and chants of “You’re next” when House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ face flashed on a television screen at a watch party in Brooklyn for Claire Valdez struck some as particularly offensive. Jeffries is the first Black person to lead a party in either chamber of Congress, and could become the next speaker of the House.

“To be shouting ‘you’re next’ — a majority white audience to a Black man — just harkens back to some dark times in history,” said Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, who endorsed Valdez’s opponent Antonio Reynoso.

Shabazz Stuart, a Brooklyn resident who also supported Reynoso, the Brooklyn borough president, said he heard the chant of “you’re next” as not targeted only at Jeffries but as a way of putting the establishment “on notice.”

“It can come across as ‘we’re all next, right?’” he said. “And it can come across as we’re losing the city that we grew up in, and that’s what people fear.”
