President Trump just dropped a political hand grenade into Washington.

He tapped Bill Pulte to serve as Acting Director of National Intelligence, and the reaction from the media, Democrats, and the intelligence establishment tells you everything you need to know. They are furious.

Why? Because Pulte is doing exactly what many Americans have demanded for years. He’s cleaning house.

Within days of taking over, reports indicate dozens of employees inside the Office of the Director of National Intelligence were either fired or sent packing as the administration moves to shrink what President Trump has called a bloated intelligence bureaucracy.

And here’s the kicker. Almost immediately, anti-Pulte leaks started pouring out of the intelligence community. The same people who claim to be defending democracy are running to the media to undermine the man tasked with reforming their agency. If there was ever proof that the swamp still exists, this is it.

To me, those leaks are not an argument against Bill Pulte. They’re the strongest argument for him.

The intelligence community was never supposed to operate as an independent power center. It exists to serve the American people, not protect itself. Yet every time someone comes along promising accountability, downsizing, and reform, the knives come out.

The media says Pulte is dangerous. Democrats say he’s unqualified. Washington insiders are panicking. Frankly, that makes me like the appointment even more.

The Radical Left just got hit with another major blow to their favorite election fraud vehicle.

During testimony before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday, U.S. Postmaster General David Steiner confirmed that the United States Postal Service will refuse to deliver mail-in and absentee ballots in any state that fails to comply with President Trump’s March 31, 2026 Executive Order on election integrity.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, President Trump signed the landmark “Ensuring Citizenship Verification and Integrity in Federal Elections” executive order directing the Postmaster General to establish strict new rules for election mail.

The order requires states to submit detailed manifests, including voter names, addresses, and unique barcode identifiers, at least 60 days before federal elections so USPS can verify eligibility and track ballots.

States that refuse to hand over the lists or follow the new security standards (special “Official Election Mail” envelopes with intelligent mail barcodes) will simply not have their ballots delivered by the Postal Service.

Steiner made it crystal clear under questioning from Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI):

“If a state refuses to turn their absentee voter list over to the federal government, will the Postal Service still mail their ballots under this proposed rule?”

Steiner: “Under our proposed regulation, no.”

He added that USPS would inform non-compliant states: “We would tell the state that we need the manifest.”

The proposed USPS rule, published in early June and flowing directly from Trump’s executive order, turns the Postal Service from a passive mail carrier into an active enforcer of basic election integrity.

No more flooding the system with ballots to phantom voters, non-citizens, or people who never requested them. No more untrackable mail-in chaos that Democrats weaponized in 2020 and beyond.

Democrats on the committee immediately melted down, claiming the rule is an “unconstitutional overreach” and a “backdoor way of trying to influence this election.”

All 49 Senate Democrats (plus two independents) have now signed letters demanding Steiner withdraw the rule. They’re panicking because this directly threatens the loose, fraud-friendly mail-in systems they built in deep-blue states.

It can be recalled that the New Jersey Democrats have fired off a letter demanding that the United States Postal Service ignore the President’s executive order aimed at stopping non-citizen voting and cleaning up the mail-in ballot chaos that plagued our election.

The letter, led by far-left Rep. Nellie Pou (D-North Haledon), was signed by the entire New Jersey Democratic congressional delegation – including Senators Cory Booker and Andy Kim, and Reps. Frank Pallone, Donald Norcross, Bonnie Watson Coleman, Josh Gottheimer, Robert Menendez, LaMonica McIver, and Herbert Conaway.

These Democrats are outraged that Trump is finally doing what he promised: protecting the sacred right to vote for American citizens only.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) didn’t just talk, they delivered. Literally.

On Wednesday, the NRCC sent flowers and a condolence card straight to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ Washington, D.C. office.

The gesture came after a brutal night in New York, where three House candidates backed by Jeffries were steamrolled by candidates endorsed by radical NYC Mayor and Democratic Socialists of America leader Zohran Mamdani.

It was a clean sweep for the socialist slate:

• In NY-10, former City Comptroller Brad Lander crushed two-term incumbent Dan Goldman.
• In NY-13, democratic socialist Darializa Avila Chevalier ousted five-term incumbent and Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Adriano Espaillat.
• In NY-7, state Assemblymember Claire Valdez defeated the establishment pick in another decisive victory for the Mamdani machine.

All three races featured candidates who had Jeffries’ support or came from the Democrat establishment wing he represents. All three went down in flames to Mamdani-backed progressives and open socialists.

In a statement provided to Fox News, NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella didn’t hold back.

“Three losses in one night is tough. We wanted so-called ‘Leader’ Jeffries to know our thoughts are with him, his candidates, and whatever remains of his influence in the Democrat Party.”

Last night’s results send a clear message: the radicals are winning the battle for the soul of the Democrat Party. And Hakeem Jeffries just got the funeral arrangement to prove it.

Sad but true that the modern Democrat Party officially belongs to Zohran Mamdani, Bernie Sanders, and AOC.

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), Chairman of the Senate Republican Steering Committee, invited President Donald Trump to attend Wednesday’s Senate GOP luncheon specifically to discuss the SAVE America Act, the most important piece of legislation in American history.

Scott is a close and loyal ally of the president. He lost the race for Majority Leader to Thune and Cornyn in late 2024. Notably, Scott did not even request a blessing from top Senate GOP leadership before inviting the president. He simply did what needed to be done, according to Fox News.

Scott teamed up with Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, advocating that the Senate approve the SAVE America Act. It requires proof of citizenship to vote. This advocacy is driving Thune and other members of the GOP brass batty since the bill failed twice. Scott and Lee want the Senate to get onto the SAVE America Act and stay on it until the measure passes. But few understand how exhaustion somehow conjures a majority of senators to suddenly support the bill.

Moreover, the president demands that they eliminate the filibuster. If the SAVE America Act doesn’t have the necessary votes to pass, there’s no way it commands 60 yeas to break a filibuster.

So expect some intense discussions Wednesday over what the president wants the Senate to do. Thune has tried to tell the president repeatedly what the Senate is capable of, based on the various parliamentary equations.

And there’s fear among Republicans that the president may attempt to sow discord about the midterm election outcomes if Democrats flip the House and/or Senate — and Republicans never passed the SAVE America Act.

Trump sports plenty of supporters in the Senate, but he’s frustrated Senate Republicans by repeatedly yanking the legislative rug out from under his own party for weeks now.

On Wednesday, Trump walked out of a closed-door Senate Republican lunch after pressing lawmakers to move forward with the SAVE America Act.

Earlier in the day, Trump escalated the pressure campaign by abruptly canceling a planned signing ceremony for a bipartisan housing bill, declaring that Congress should focus instead on passing the SAVE America Act. Trump called the legislation a “National Emergency” priority and signaled he is unwilling to continue business as usual while election integrity reforms remain stalled in the Senate.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:

“Today’s Housing News Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until such time as we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT, which I consider to be a National Emergency. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
