Journey keyboardist and guitarist Jonathan Cain took direct aim at Bruce Springsteen during a recent appearance on the “Complete Disaster Network” podcast, calling the singer and leftist activist an “annoying, bitter old man” for turning his concerts into political rallies against President Donald Trump.

Cain described himself as a “diehard conservative” who once identified as a Democrat and urged Springsteen to stop using the stage as a platform for political preaching.

“I used to be a Democrat back in the old days, but I just couldn’t go there anymore, you know?” Cain said.

“I’m a diehard conservative… And guys like Bruce Springsteen should shut up. You know, really, honestly, shut up, Bruce, you know? Him and who’s the other one? Robert DeNiro. I mean, who cares, guys? Do your art. I try to keep politics out of my music,” Cain said.

Cain said that he doesn’t like to hear either side preaching politics at concerts, but Springsteen’s statements have been particularly bad because it’s “kind of a diss to our country.”

“Now, people say, ‘Well, you’re a Christian, and you’re conservative,’ and I’m like, ‘So what?’ I don’t preach it on stage… I don’t spend 10 minutes, ya know, talking about it… And Bruce, I mean, what the heck? I used to like him, and now he’s just annoying. He’s an annoying, bitter old man. I mean, stop it. Really.”

Cain added, “You were born in the USA, weren’t you, dude? So act like it… But even that song, if you look at the lyrics, I mean, it’s a kind of a diss to our country.”

As The Gateway Pundit has extensively covered, the 76-year-old Springsteen used multiple stops on his tour to blast the Trump administration as “reckless and treasonous,” declare that America is living through “very dark times,” and claim American values are under unprecedented attack.

In one particularly fiery outburst, Springsteen delivered a profane six-minute anti-Trump meltdown at a Washington, D.C. concert, telling the crowd to “let them hear you at the f-cking White House!”

Springsteen has also dedicated performances to anti-ICE agitators who were killed while attempting to hinder immigration enforcement.

Even CNN is Laughing at Mamdani for Thinking He Has the Authority to Arrest Netanyahu in New York City (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has zero authority to arrest Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu and even the Democrat cheerleaders at CNN know it.

During a recent segment where they discussed the topic, legal analyst Elie Honig listed all of the reasons why Mamdani’s claims are utterly false.

He notes that all aspects of foreign policy and diplomacy are handled by the federal government, not local jurisdictions. He also points out that the arrest warrant that Mamdani is referencing in this case is from a body that is not even recognized by the United States.

The other people on the panel laugh along because they know Honig is absolutely right about this.

Partial transcript via the Vigilant Fox:

KEILAR: “Can Mamdani have Netanyahu arrested?”

HONIG: “Absolutely not. It is utterly RIDICULOUS for the mayor of New York City to even suggest that he might have the authority to order the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu or any visiting foreign head of state.”

“The mayor of New York City has ZERO law enforcement authority. He DOES NOT tell the Manhattan DA, the NYPD, who to arrest, who to indict.”

“So I know the mayor is having his best lawyers look at this right now. Let me save them some time. You DO NOT have the authority to do this.”

Watch the video:

This entire affair is about Mamdani’s hatred of Israel and his supporters in the ‘Free Palestine!’ mob.

It’s also a perfect reminder that Mamdani thinks being the mayor of New York City makes him as powerful as the President of the United States. It obviously doesn’t.

Trump Warns Democrat-Run States Are Going to Become ‘Ghettos of the Future’ as Rich People and Companies Flee

Donald Trump speaking during an interview, wearing a suit with a red tie, set against a formal background featuring decorative elements.

President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning that Democrat-controlled blue states are going to become “‘ghettos’ of the future” due to wealthy people and companies fleeing their high taxes and leftist policies.

Trump issued the warning in a post to Truth Social on Tuesday morning.

The post read:

“Rich people and Companies are pouring out of Dumocrat run Blue States at levels never seen before! If this trend continues, these States will become the “Ghettos” of the Future — No people, no money, no hope. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

The president also shared a Just the News report highlighting how Illinois is copying California’s business-repellent model of high taxes and poor economic management.

The report cited True Value Hardware’s decision to move its corporate headquarters from Chicago to Fort Wayne, Indiana, joining other major Illinois companies like Boeing, Tyson Foods, Morton Salt, and Caterpillar that have already left.

Recent IRS migration data confirms the trend Trump described.

The ten counties with the largest net losses of taxpayers to other states were all in California or New York.

Los Angeles County led with a net loss of 17,496 tax filers carrying nearly $1.9 billion in income. Queens County, New York, lost 17,109 filers, followed by the Bronx with 16,319.

Other hard-hit New York counties included Suffolk and Nassau.

High-income residents and businesses are heading to states with low or no income tax, like Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.

Recent proposals have added to the pressure for high earners to leave the blue states.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Gov. Kathy Hochul advanced a “pied-à-terre” tax targeting luxury second homes worth $5 million or more, expected to raise around $500 million annually from affluent owners.

Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo has publicly criticized such policies, warning that demonizing corporations and the rich is actively chasing wealth and businesses to southern states.

State University of New York System Implements Mandatory Tutoring Program Because ‘Record Number’ of First Year Students Are Failing Math and Writing
July 21, 2026

The State University of New York (SUNY) is implementing a mandatory tutoring system because a record number of first year students are failing reading and math. This problem is widespread and not isolated to New York.

Part of this problem is due to what happened during Covid-19, when school systems across the country shut down for months and conducted classes via Zoom. Students everywhere fell behind and never caught up.

It is also due to the fact that so many schools have abandoned basic elements of education in favor of pushing woke garbage about social justice, race, and gender.

The College Fix reports:

SUNY institutes mandatory tutoring, extra class time due to ‘record’ number of first-years failing math, writing

Due to a “record” number of first-year failures in freshman writing and math courses, the State University of New York system now will require students to have weekly meetings with a one-on-one tutor, and will add additional time to classes in the latter category.

According to the Times Union, SUNY reported that a quarter of its freshmen failed the introductory math course, and 22 percent flunked English.

This fall at SUNY Albany, selected first-years will have to get tutored in writing for an hour each week, and for 90 minutes in math/science. “Hundreds” of high-performing students have been tapped to help with the effort.

Dean for Undergraduate Education JoAnne Malatesta said that the assisting students, who “did well” in the writing class, will “direct freshmen to the tutoring center and encourage them to go to the professor’s office hours.”

Some 375 student tutors also will hold “90-minute ‘supplemental instruction’ sessions” each week in math and science that freshmen are “expected” to attend.

Malatesta said similar sessions in the past have led to “significant gains” in academic performance.

At Hudson Valley Community College, officials are capping the total number of students per class and adding an hour per week of instructional time. It also “restructured” its “Enhanced English Comprehension 1” last fall semester by limiting class size to 15 and having instructors “oversee” student writing for two hours a week outside of class.

The most maddening thing about this is that if you interviewed one of these students who are failing at math and writing, they could probably explain to you why they think there are really multiple genders and how the United States is an evil empire.

These students were cheated of an actual education and most of them probably don’t even know it.

Trump Admin Wins HUGE Court Battle Over Mail-In Ballot Rule that Requires States Submit Voter Lists and Ballot Barcodes Before Postal Service Will Deliver Federal Ballots
July 21, 2026

Stacks of United States Postal Service mail trays on a table, ready for sorting and delivery in a postal facility.
Mail-in ballots in a postal bin.

Here is some good news out of the courts.

The Daily Signal is reporting that the Trump administration and the US Postal Service have won a key court fight over mail-in ballot oversight.

For years, Republicans have been demanding answers on how mail-in ballots are handled, tracked, and counted in this country. And for years, the DC establishment and the failed mainstream media told us there was nothing to see here.

Now, a court has handed the Trump administration and the USPS a victory on ballot oversight. This is horrible news for Democrats, who continue to obstruct and block any move by President Trump to secure our elections. Why is that?

The ruling says that states must submit their mail-voter lists at least , and every ballot envelope must carry a uniquely serialized barcode so each ballot is tracked outbound and returned.

Postmaster General David Steiner was asked point-blank whether USPS would carry a state’s ballots without the list: “ , .”

M.A. Rothman reported on this latest ruling.

The NAACP sued over this new requirement by the Trump administration – and they lost.

According to The Daily Signal.

The appeals court found the Postal Service made a “strong showing that they will likely succeed” and that the new policy would be “neither constitutionally nor prudentially ripe for review.” The court also said the policy was not affected by the NAACP settlement. Further, the panel found it could cause “irreparable harm” if the Postal Service is unable to finalize and implement the rule before the November midterm elections…

…However, the Trump administration still must clear another hurdle. In a separate lawsuit, U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani on June 25 sided with Democrat-led states that argued the Postal Service rule would interfere with states’ rights to oversee elections. The two lawsuits were argued on different grounds, but Judge Emmet Sullivan’s pause on the USPS rule remains in place.

On March 31, President Donald Trump issued a March executive order that directed his administration, primarily the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice, to compile a list of confirmed U.S. citizens from each state who would be legal voters. The DHS was instructed to use federal data to help state election officials verify eligible voters. The executive order also directed the U.S. Postal Service to only deliver ballots to voters on each state’s approved mail-in ballot list. The order directed the Postal Service to propose a final rule by Aug. 3.
