Fahima Egeh Mahamud, former CEO of Future Leaders Early Learning Center in Minneapolis, pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States. She admitted to schemes that fraudulently obtained more than $4.6 million from Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) through false claims and approximately $850,000 by falsely claiming to serve thousands of meals daily (at times up to 60,000 per month) through the federal Feeding Our Future nutrition program.

Prosecutors noted that her center received the highest amount of CCAP funding in Minnesota in 2025 (around $3.7 million that year alone, with over $10 million across recent years). Much of the money was allegedly used for personal gain, including real estate purchases, while minimal or no services were provided. Mahamud reportedly attempted to flee the country, booking a flight to London on the same day she notified the state of the center’s closure.

The daycare, located near George Floyd Square at 36th and Chicago Avenue, gained national attention after appearing in a viral December 2025 video by independent YouTuber Nick Shirley. His investigation into apparently empty or minimally operational taxpayer-funded facilities prompted intensified state and federal scrutiny across Minnesota. The center closed in January 2026.

Under her plea agreement, Mahamud faces a recommended sentence of 27–33 months in prison. She has been released on conditional bond pending sentencing, which has not yet been scheduled.

Mahamud’s case is part of the massive Feeding Our Future scandal, one of the largest pandemic-era fraud schemes in the U.S., involving roughly $250–350 million in alleged losses from federal child nutrition programs. Netflix has sparked a national uproar after using its website to trash “Gone With The Wind,” which is universally regarded as one of the greatest movies ever made.

As TGP readers know, “Gone with the Wind” is a 1939 epic historical romantic film set during the 1800s. The movie showcases the ups and downs of Scarlett O’Hara’s life, played by Vivien Leigh, in the years leading up to, during, and after the American Civil War.

“Gone with the Wind” won eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It is also the highest-grossing film of all time when adjusted for inflation.

But instead of highlighting the impeccable acting, vision, and writing that have made “Gone With The Wind” an enduring masterpiece, Netflix whipped out the race card in its summary of the film.

Around the world, new initiatives are popping up to establish initiatives regarding euthanasia and assisted suicide, despite the real tragedy that those policies are imposing on the societies that have adopted them.

Now, the culture of death is making a landing in France.

French lawmakers voted today (15) to approve a bill creating a ‘legal right to assisted dying for adults with incurable ​illnesses.’

This is the culmination of what the press calls ‘an intense ethical and political debate.’

As it happens in the infancy of such laws, the legislation imposes ‘strict conditions’ to allow a person to receive a lethal substance.

In France’s case, the substance could be self-administered (assisted suicide) or, if the person is physically unable to do so, administered by a doctor or nurse (euthanasia).

Soon, new legislation gets tacked to it, and before you know it, you have children who are mildly depressed, taking the easy way out, cheered by the ‘doctors.’

The debate has divided French society, with all the MSM and celebrities pushing hard for this.

Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche on Wednesday morning faced Senate Judiciary Committee members in a confirmation hearing.

President Trump last month announced that he nominated Todd Blanche to serve as Attorney General.

Blanche, a former federal prosecutor in New York, was chosen to serve as the Acting Attorney General after President Trump fired Pam Bondi in April.

Prior to serving as Acting Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General, Blanche served as President Trump’s personal attorney in New York.

President Trump praised Todd Blanche on Tuesday evening ahead of the hearing and called on the senate to confirm him as the next US Attorney General.

“Todd Blanche is doing a PHENOMENAL job as Acting Attorney General of the United States. Under Todd’s incredible leadership at DOJ, Murder is down to the LOWEST level since 1900, and we just saw the biggest one year drop in RECORDED HISTORY,” Trump said on Tuesday evening.

“Violent Crime arrests are UP 100%. Robberies, Carjackings, and Assaults, are all CRASHING. More than 500 million deadly doses of Drugs have already been seized, saving countless innocent lives. This is what happens when you unleash LAW AND ORDER on our streets, instead of protecting vicious Criminal Thugs, and releasing dangerous Illegal Aliens into our Communities like the Dumocrats did for four disastrous years under Sleepy Joe Biden,” the president said.

As expected, Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse immediately attacked Blanche and other officials appointed by President Trump.

Sheldon attacked FBI Director Kash Patel and tried to bait Blanche.

Blanche also called out Senator White House for “cherry picking” comments from judges.

“I appreciate the handpicked words that you have behind you right now,” Blanche said.

“But that’s not reflective of the 100,000 indictments and informations that have been filed to do the work,” Blanche said.

“While cherry picking a few isolated words from district court or magistrate judges in certain districts is something that you’re entitled to do, it’s absolutely false to suggest that this Department of Justice is not executing as we should, and doing the right thing every single day,” Blanche said.
