Journalist Mark Halperin is not impressed with the mainstream media’s coverage of Dr. Fauci this week. You might even say he is disgusted.

Halperin talked about it with two guests on his 2Way program and although he mentioned several news outlets, he really saved his anger for Brian Stelter of CNN, who made sure to write about how ‘MAGA media’ was treating the story.

It is truly remarkable, the way that Fauci became such a celebrity among members of the media and they’re still showing their devotion to him today.

Halperin also points out how the Fauci coverage mirrors the way the media treated Joe Biden and the cover-up of his mental acuity.

Journalist Mark Halperin, host of “2Way,” likened the mainstream media coverage of Anthony Fauci’s diaries to the press’ coverage of former President Joe Biden’s mental acuity on Wednesday, and said they were present at the creation of the cover-up.

“I could spend this entire hour talking to you about the media coverage of this thing,” Halperin said during a conversation with Larry O’Connor and Kevin Walling during “The Morning Meeting” podcast. If you read the stories in the so-called mainstream press about the Fauci Diaries, you will see an exact parallel to the Biden acuity situation. They were present at the creation of the cover-up. They were present, engaged in non-stop bias, pro-Fauci, anti-Trump, and they’re — they’re just sustaining it.”

“There’s no consciousness raising,” he continued. “There seems to be no awareness. And this goes across a range of things. It goes across the question of whether Dr. Fauci lied, whether Dr. Fauci helped fund the gain-of-function research, and it also goes to Dr. Fauci’s insane obsession with fame and celebrity. There’s no other way to describe it.”…

“Brian Stelter, this should be Christmas for him,” Halperin continued. “This should be the greatest day of his life to get to write about all the connections between Fauci and the media here and the ethics involved in people secretly being friends with him and helping him and then praising him on TV. Brian Stelter in his career has written many corrupt sentences to protect the liberal side of the house, many.”

US forces launched a second consecutive night of strikes against Iran this evening in response to Iran targeting US troops in the Middle East on Tuesday. 

“U.S. forces began launching strikes against Iran at 8 p.m. ET today. The strikes are a powerful response to yesterday’s attempted Iranian attacks on U.S. forces based in the Middle East,” US Central Command announced in a statement.

This comes after President Trump told Fox’s Trey Yingst earlier, “We’re going to beat the f*cking sh*t out of them.”

Trump added, “We’ll be hitting them hard. They’re going to get a beating.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday, Iran launched a “surprise” missile attack against a US base.

Just days earlier, President Trump called off the nearly two-week-long bombing campaign against Iran to continue negotiations on Friday.

Trump had said on Monday, “We are in very deep talks with Iran. If they don’t work out, we will go back to very strong military action.”

US forces responded last night to the attempted missile strikes by Iran, which US Central Command said were “successfully intercepted.”

The US military carried out a joint strike with Saudi Arabian Armed Forces against “Iran-aligned terrorists,” CENTCOM announced.

“U.S. and Saudi fighter aircraft struck multiple terrorist logistics and weapons sites across eastern Iraq in a strong response to over 30 IRGC-directed aerial drone attacks in the last 72 hours,” CENTCOM said in a press release.

The co-owner of the Seattle Storm on Tuesday berated and allegedly made the teen girls cry for supporting women in women’s sports.

The two teen girls were sitting up front and wore XX-XY T-shirts and carried a sign thanking Sophia Cunningham for speaking out in support of women.

Celeste Keaton, a lesbian, allegedly made mocking gestures and insulted the girls who were wearing XX-XY T-shirts at the game.

You would think the owner of a “womens” basketball team would understand how unfair it is to allow men in women’s sports.
But, sadly no.

Co-owner Celeste was not alone.

An unhinged disgusting man also abused the girls calling on security to “take the trash out!”

Last night, my wife and I went to our first WNBA game in Seattle to watch the Storm take on the Fever. It was definitely a different experience, but we ultimately had a good time. Let me tell you why it felt different. For a lot of the people in attendance, it didn’t seem like it was about basketball. It felt like it was about politics. The Seattle crowd was incredibly sensitive anytime Caitlin Clark or Sophie Cunningham touched the ball. They booed relentlessly every time either of them touched the ball, scored, or did anything significant. To me, it didn’t feel like normal sports rivalry. If it were just about basketball, the entire Fever team would have been treated the same way. It felt like something deeper.

In my opinion, a lot of the hostility toward Caitlin Clark comes from the attention she receives, her elite talent, and the fact that she’s become the face of the league. As for Sophie Cunningham, I think much of the backlash stems from her outspoken belief that biological men do not belong in women’s sports or women’s spaces such as bathrooms and locker rooms. The WNBA has a serious challenge on its hands. The league is making more money and attracting more fans than ever before, but it also seems to be struggling to adapt to its rapidly growing audience and the different viewpoints that come with it.

We sat down in our seats, which were amazing by the way, and looked across the court to see two young women wearing XX-XY Athletics shirts and holding signs thanking Sophie for speaking out. We paid attention to them a little during the first quarter, but we got so caught up in the game that we didn’t notice them again the rest of the night. Hearing that one of the Storm’s owners allegedly confronted them and ruined their experience is a really bad look for the league if that’s what happened. The WNBA should look into it. I’ve also read that people tried to trip them as they walked to their seats and were cussing at them. If that’s true, that’s unacceptable. Those seats aren’t cheap. Let people enjoy the game and support the players they came to watch without being harassed.

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday evening postponed a key vote to advance Todd Blanche’s nomination for Attorney General.

The Senate Judiciary Committee was set to vote on Blanche’s nomination on Thursday morning.

However, Chairman Chuck Grassley postponed the markup vote as RINO Senators Tillis and Cornyn make demands from the DOJ on its language related to restricting Trump’s IRS agreement.

Per Grassley’s spokesperson: “Chairman Grassley works to set President Trump’s nominees up for success in committee, not failure. Senators Cornyn and Tillis want written assurances from the Department of Justice regarding the Trump-IRS settlement. Tomorrow’s markup is postponed as work continues to secure sufficient support in committee to favorably report Attorney General-nominee Todd Blanche, who is highly qualified for the job.”

On Tuesday, after whining about the push to cancel August recess over the SAVE America Act, Cornyn went after President Trump’s nomination for Attorney General, Todd Blanche.

“There is no “deal” on Blanche nom. They know what they have to do,” Cornyn said in a post on X.

CNN’s Manu Raju caught up with Cornyn later and asked him about the DOJ’s effort to resolve his concerns about the $1.8 billion weaponization fund.

Cornyn and Tillis are demanding that the DOJ submit in writing Todd Blanche’s commitment to scrap the weaponization fund.

The RINO Senators said that Blanche’s testimony was not enough.

The Trump administration scored another major immigration victory on Tuesday after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit cleared the way for the Department of Homeland Security to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for South Sudan and Ethiopia.

In a decisive ruling, the First Circuit reversed a lower court order that had temporarily blocked the administration from ending the designation, concluding that the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision in Mullin v. Doe foreclosed the legal arguments relied upon by the plaintiffs.

The appeals court held that the Supreme Court’s June 25 ruling made clear that the TPS statute bars judicial review of all non-constitutional challenges to the Homeland Security Secretary’s decisions regarding TPS designations and terminations.

“Previously, upon the government’s motion… we denied an administrative stay of the district court’s order postponing the termination of Temporary Protected Status (‘TPS’) for South Sudan,” the First Circuit wrote. “Upon further briefing, we now reverse the postponement order in light of Mullin v. Doe.”

The court explained that the Supreme Court held that “the TPS statute’s judicial-review bar applies to all non-constitutional claims” challenging the Secretary’s TPS determinations, and those were the only claims supporting the district court’s injunction.

As a result, the First Circuit granted the Trump administration’s request for summary reversal, denied its request for a stay as moot, and sent the case back to the district court for proceedings consistent with the Supreme Court’s decision.

This ruling dismantles another activist-judge roadblock erected against the lawful termination of a TPS designation that DHS determined no longer met statutory conditions.

Former Secretary Kristi Noem and current Secretary Markwayne Mullin had moved to end South Sudan’s designation after a review of country conditions, with termination originally set for January 5, 2026.

A single district judge in Massachusetts, Clinton appointee Patti B. Saris, had previously stayed that termination at the request of African Communities Together and several anonymous “Doe” plaintiffs, keeping roughly 200-plus South Sudanese TPS holders shielded from removal despite the administration’s determination.

Just as it did in the South Sudan case, the appeals court reversed a lower court order that had postponed the TPS termination for Ethiopia, concluding that the Supreme Court’s decision in Mullin v. Doe foreclosed the plaintiffs’ legal claims.

The court wrote that it was reversing “the postponement order in light of Mullin v. Doe,” explaining that the Supreme Court held “the TPS statute’s judicial-review bar applies to all non-constitutional claims” challenging the Homeland Security Secretary’s decision to terminate a TPS designation. Those statutory claims were the sole basis for the district court’s injunction.

The immediate effect is that DHS is no longer blocked by this injunction from ending TPS for South Sudan. The case now returns to the district court, where any remaining constitutional claims, if preserved, will be evaluated under the Supreme Court’s decision in Mullin.
