The senior Pentagon advisor caught on O’Keefe Media Group hidden camera bashing President Trump last Wednesday is no longer with the Department of Navy.

As previously reported, James O’Keefe wore a disguise (a mustache and pair of glasses) and went on a ‘date’ with senior Navy official Brandon Newsom.

“Meet Brandon Newsom, a senior official in the Office of the Secretary of the Navy for 16 years. He oversees corporate operations supporting Secretary Hegseth, including HR, IT, security, facilities, records management, and implementation of executive orders,” James O’Keefe said.

Brandon Newsom told James O’Keefe that he will make sure to undo whatever President Trump has done.

“I’ve seen some things. In true D.C. nature, you don’t always reveal everything in D.C,” Newsom told O’Keefe.

“I have the influence…., I can undo whatever’s been done,” Newsom told James O’Keefe.

Newsom also bashed President Trump: “I think Trump is a narcissist.”

“Yeah. I think it’s [War in Iran] completely stupid, but it’s driven on one man’s [President Trump] ego to me, in my own personal opinion,” he said.

“I mean, you could be a news reporter,” Newsom said to O’Keefe.

Newsom said he will seek to reverse the Pentagon’s monthly voluntary Christian prayer service.

“This begs the question: If a government director says he can slow or reverse a sitting President’s agenda, who really governs the country? Is it the individual Americans elect or the career officials who outlast every administration?” James O’Keefe said.

WATCH:

Last week, Brandon Newsom, was placed on leave.

“The Department of the Navy takes the conduct shown in this video extremely seriously. Such statements and apparent intent to leverage a position to undermine the policies and direction set by our elected leaders are inappropriate and incompatible with the standards expected of Department personnel,” Acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao said.

“Effective immediately, this individual has been placed on administrative leave while we determine next steps to ensure accountability and protect the integrity of our mission,” he said.

On Sunday, Hung Cao said Brandon Newsom is no longer with the Department of Navy.

“The individual is no longer employed by the Department of the Navy,” Hung Cao said.

Former Republican U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, host of the Matt Gaetz show on OAN, talked with former Top Gun fighter pilot and author Ed Rush about military strategies in Iran.

“I want to talk about Iran first. We’ve seen Uncle Sam dominate the skies over the Persian Empire. How do you see that impacting the military strategy at this stage of the war?” Gaetz asked.

“I mean, as a pilot, you know, it’s great to see air dominance. That’s literally the first thing you want to do when you take to war,” Rush said.

“As a Marine pilot, I could say that you know, there is only so much air power can do,” Rush continued.

“I do want to get into what you see as the limits of air power in this campaign to accomplish the objective?” Gaetz asked.

“The first you can do with air power is air superiority, and that’s like the most important thing to do first in war, cut off communication lines. Stop what’s called the CADS or the enemy IADS, integrated air defense systems,” Rush said.

“Make it so that you can fly anything, anywhere, including helicopters, drop troops off anywhere. That’s really like one of the first things you do in any sort of traditional combat, but then what you do is you start to take the ground. And that’s really where the air power begins to be very limited,” Rush explained.

“Once it comes to actually taking the ground, that’s where air power begins to get limited, and we’ve seen that, like in the last 30 years of war,” Rush continued.

“What do you think it will take to accomplish those objectives on the ground?” Gaetz asked.

“That’s really the question is like, what are the objectives? You know we’ve been to the bargaining table, I think three times now with the people, a group of people that you know, clearly lie for a living,” Rush commented.

Gaetz and Rush talked about the potential of the military to take Kharg Island. They discussed taking the island and the strategical difficulties of actually holding the island.

“I think you have to start taking at the very least some strategic targets like Kharg Island,” Rush said.

“I think at the very least start taking some ground that is important to Iran so that we can start to put a little stranglehold on their energy,” Rush commented.

“It would be the Marines that would do that. We all know it from the planning. It would be the Marines having to execute an amphibious assault on Kharg Island. I think they would be very effective at doing that. My concern is how we would hold Kharg Island? You have elevated positions in the Persian mountains. You have embedded missile systems there,” Gaetz commented.

“Should we think about taking Kharg Island and holding Kharg Island is two very different mission sets,” Gaetz explained.

“I think it’s one of the reasons why we haven’t done it, and basically the moment you take that island, the entire shift of the entire area of operations turns into that island,” Rush said.

Hawaii State Emblem

A family from California is claiming that a brutal attack at the swanky Kaanapali Alii resort in West Maui had anti-White motivations.

The family, who have not been named, says they were targeted as “haole boys” before being brutally attacked, leaving at least six people needing medical help, and one man was left with a large head wound which required more than a dozen staples to close the wound.

“Haole” is slang for Whites, especially in a Hawaiian or local Hawaii context. While it can be used in a less hostile colloquial way, it is often used as a racial slur as a pejorative, underscoring historical tensions over colonization, outsiders, or cultural differences.

One of the family members, Joseph Headfield, said the physical violence was preceded by racial threats from a woman he described as the group’s ringleader.

“There were three females, one of which was the ringleader,” Headfield told Hawaii News Now.

“She got up in people’s faces, said, ‘We’re going to beat up your boys tonight. We’re going to beat up the haole boys.’”

According to local reports, a brawl broke out around 10 p.m. on July 17 at the Kaanapali Alii resort. The visitors from California, ranging in age from 17 to 62, relayed to police that they were assaulted after a group of young people allegedly threw chairs and attacked members of their family.

Per The New York Post:

Relatives told HNN the confrontation was the culmination of an evening of escalating tensions, alleging a group of Maui youths had been harassing visitors earlier near Whalers Village before the violence erupted at the resort.

Police arrested a 20-year-old Makawao man on suspicion of assault.

He was later released as detectives continued their investigation.

Although the family believes the incident was racially motivated, police have not classified the assault as a hate crime.

July 26, 2026

On Saturday, 12-year-old Jacob Freytes, the son of a retired NYPD sergeant, jumped on his bike and set out for a local store to purchase a ball, something that happens thousands of times a day for children across the country.

But in Mamdani’s New York, a simple right of passage turned tragic.

Freytes, who was struck by a stray bullet during the senseless shootout in a gang-infested area of The Bronx.

He was rushed to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Per The New York Post:

The 12-year-old son of a cop was fatally gunned down by random shots fired into a crowd outside a Bronx bodega Saturday — where the youngster was seen on heartbreaking video staggering inside clutching his injured chest before collapsing onto the floor.

The gunfire erupted after a brawl broke out on Elliot Place near the Grand Concourse at about 5:30 p.m., injuring two people and killing the 12-year-old who was an innocent bystander, police said.

The young boy had stopped by the Wanda Deli Grocery on Elliot Place to purchase a ball when he was struck by the stray bullet, the United Bodegas of America said.

Two others were injured and are in stable condition.

Surveillance footage shared by the United Bodegas of America via The Post shared disturbing video of the incident.

A man suspected of the shooting has been arrested.

45-year-old William Ferrer has been charged with murder in the case, which police believe may have been a gang-related shooting.

Ferrer, who has a rap sheet dating back to 1999, was arrested outside his home on Sunday.

Police Commissioner of the City of New York, Jessica Tisch, shared, “NYPD detectives have arrested William Ferrer for the murder of 12-year-old Jacob Freytes and the shooting of two others in the Mt. Eden neighborhood of the Bronx.”

“Jacob was an innocent bystander on his bike when he was taken from his family yesterday in an act of senseless gun violence.”

“Ferrer, a 45-year-old male from the Bronx, was apprehended outside of his home this morning. He is being charged with Murder in the Second Degree, Manslaughter in the First Degree, Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.”

“No arrest can ever ease the pain of this unimaginable loss, but the NYPD will continue to do everything in our power to seek justice for Jacob.

A reality TV ‘star’ went on TV this weekend to whimper about her ‘disgusting‘ experience at a U.S. detention facility before she was deported from the country.

On Saturday, TMZ spoke with Natalya Scudder, who has starred in both Season 7 and Season 8 of “Below Deck,” where she spoke about her last experience in America.

Scudder, a native of Perth, Western Australia, told the outlet that she was trying to land at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) recently before getting yanked away by security.

“I basically got pulled from like this main waiting area to behind the scenes of the airport,” she told TMZ.

She added that the man “was taking longer than usual” in the immigration line.

Scudder was later informed that immigration authorities were detaining her for making profits on American soil by monetizing her social media content, including her OnlyFans account, while using the wrong visa.

The actress stated that she found the experience completely humiliating.

“Whatever you think’s deleted on your iPhone, it’s not deleted,” Scudder said. “Every single thing you’ve ever screenshotted, taken a picture of, Googled.”

“It’s really embarrassing just having everyone kind of stare at you and laugh when they come out of this room and gaze over,” she added.

Immigration officers then took Scudder to a detention facility, where the dirty bedding and showers repulsed her.

“There were dirty blankets on the floor, stains on the wall,” Scudder said. “There’s a shower, but there’s no towels.”

“I go to (the staff) and ask, ‘How do I shower?’ “She continued. “And they say, ‘Oh, you just wash yourself and dry yourself with your dirty clothes and put them back on.’”

Scudder also revealed that she had asked for a blanket because she was “freezing,” but was informed that “This isn’t the Beverly Hills Hotel.”

Scudder said the authorities told her she was going to spend “1 to 5 days” in lockup. She ended up being detained for 30 to 40 hours.

The actress went on to add that she had an anxiety attack before falling asleep at 3 am.

Then, she said the staff shook her to wake her up for her official interview. But she quickly discovered that a happy ending was not in store.

After her ‘tough’ experience, authorities promptly put Scudder on a 17-hour flight back to Australia.

Scudder closed the TMZ interview by saying that while she still loves the United States, she wants other influencers to be careful when traveling there and have the proper work visa.
