SHOWDOWN: Trump Slams Cornyn For Delaying Todd Blanche AG Confirmation Over Weaponization Fund – Tillis Jumps in And Attacks Trump

President Trump on Friday slammed RINO Senator John Cornyn for delaying Todd Blanche’s confirmation for Attorney General over the defunct weaponization fund.

President Trump on Thursday announced a plan to circumvent RINO Senators Cornyn and Tillis after they tried to derail Todd Blanche’s confirmation for Attorney General.

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday evening postponed a key vote to advance Todd Blanche’s nomination for Attorney General.

The Senate Judiciary Committee was set to vote on Blanche’s nomination on Thursday morning.

However, Chairman Chuck Grassley postponed the markup vote as RINO Senators Tillis and Cornyn make demands from the DOJ on its language related to restricting Trump’s IRS agreement.

On Thursday morning, President Trump said he may temporarily withdraw Todd Blanche’s nomination until Senators Cornyn and Tillis leave office.

Cornyn and Tillis late Thursday evening continued to make demands as Blanche’s confirmation stalled.

Tillis lashed out at President Trump late Thursday.

“The president’s getting bad advice. He should listen to Blanche and others who think if it’s dead, it should be rendered completely dead,” a pompous Tillis told CNN’s Manu Raju.

Tillis attacked Trump’s ‘advisor’ who supposedly wants to bring back the weaponization fund.

On Friday morning, President Trump slammed Cornyn as he confirmed the weaponization fund is “dead.”

Full statement from President Trump:

John Cornyn never had a problem with the so called “Fund,” which will not benefit me, but rather the great American Patriots who were hunted down like dogs and whose lives were unfairly and illegally destroyed by the Crooked Joe Biden Administration, until after I decided to Endorse and Support his Republican Primary opponent in Texas, who easily won the Nomination for the United States Senate.

Perhaps there has never been a group of people treated so badly in our Nation’s history. They are suffering still, many ruined, and I felt that they should be given compensation for what has been done to them.

I gave up any payments for myself, which would have been substantial, including for the illegal and unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago, my home in Florida, even though many legal experts, and others, including John Cornyn, said it was a shocking and disgusting display of “weaponization” against me.

Such an event has never happened before, and hopefully will never happen again! I will always feel that these victims of government abuse should be paid back for what they were forced to endure, their lives have been ruined! Millions of people agree with me, as was proven in my landslide Presidential win, where this was a major subject of debate, and so did John Cornyn, until he lost his Election to an opponent that I Endorsed.

Todd Blanche, a good man, should be immediately approved as U.S. Attorney General. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

RINO Senator Thom Tillis jumped in and attacked President Trump on Friday morning:

The President made it clear today that the so-called Anti Weaponization Fund is still alive, which is exactly why we are attempting to formally end it. While I never disagreed that the Biden Administration pursued a number of vindictive prosecutions related to January 6, the criminals who assaulted police officers and defiled our nation’s Capitol are not “great American patriots” who are “victims of government abuse.” Anyone who attacked law enforcement should still be in prison, not getting a check from the federal government.

Senator Cornyn and I have been working with Acting AG Todd Blanche to end the Anti Weaponization Fund, and he has been forthright, thoughtful and patient. It’s a shame his confirmation has hit a snag only because an incompetent personal advisor to the President refuses to amend the bogus settlement. I will continue working in good faith to put an end this legal and political albatross and prevent any potential misallocation of taxpayer dollars.

Powerful Democratic Donors Terrified About 2028 Due to ‘Floundering’ DNC: Report

Powerful Democratic Donors Terrified About 2028 Due to ‘Floundering’ DNC: Report
July 31, 2026

The Democratic National Committee has had a no good, very bad year. That, of course, does not bode well for the 2028 presidential election cycle, and powerful Democrat donors have noticed.

According to Politico, the DNC’s embarrassing missteps under Chair Ken Martin have donors griping and looking for alternatives.

One donor, for instance, described the DNC as “sort of floundering right now.”

And that might have been the most generous assessment Politico received from more than half a dozen donors, donor advisors, and bundlers — those who collect many individual donations — nearly all of whom spoke anonymously.

“Nobody wants to give [Martin] or DNC money at this point, but worry is focused on the day after the midterms, because the DNC is more of a presidential player,” a Democratic bundler said. “It’s beyond embarrassing and it’s not going to get better until he is gone.”

Meanwhile, one donor advisor warned that the DNC’s failures under Martin mean that contributions will dry up after the 2026 midterms. That could change, however, if the DNC replaces Martin.

“We need an overhaul, and I think that’s what my folks will be in support of. And if that happens, there will be end-of-year giving, December will be a boom,” the donor adviser said. “But if it’s Ken, and it’s just the same — same old nonsense — I can’t make the case.”

So far in 2026, the DNC has exhibited its apparent ineptitude in a variety of ways.

For instance, in May, Martin finally released the results of a long-promised 2024 election autopsy that he commissioned. That report, which Martin entrusted to a friend, came to the DNC in unfinished condition and with so many sourcing problems that Martin himself had to effectively disavow it.

Moreover, the DNC finds itself $2 million in debt compared to the Republican National Committee’s $128.5 million cash on hand. Things have gotten so bad, in fact, that earlier this month Martin reportedly threw a phone at an aide’s desk in frustration.

None of this has inspired donors’ confidence as they look to 2028.

“History is precedent and so if you struggle now, that suggests you might struggle later,” a Democratic donor told Politico. “They’re going to have about a dozen candidates running for president. If you look at the inability to competitively raise money, it does make one question if you have the ability to deal with the other problems.”

Democratic donor and attorney Bob Kerrigan even went on record to question the DNC’s purpose.

“There’s a more fundamental issue: What the hell do they do?” Kerrigan said. “They are all in the beltway bubble and they are all important and they collect all sorts of money but what do they do?”

Unfortunately for Democrats, this internal turmoil has beset the party at the same time President Donald Trump and the Republicans’ poll numbers have plummeted.

According to the RealClearPolling aggregate of polls, Trump’s approval rating has fallen below 40 percent.

Likewise, RealClearPolling’s Right Direction/Wrong Track barometer has Trump and the ruling Republicans more than 24 points underwater. Only 34.7 percent of respondents described America as moving in the right direction. By contrast, 59.1 percent of respondents described America as on the wrong track.

The DNC, however, does not appear poised to take advantage of those numbers.

And the same holds true for the party’s projected presidential contenders. In fact, earlier this year, CNN data guru Harry Enten characterized the likely 2028 Democratic field as a “clown car.”

Those early contenders may include former Vice President and 2024 presidential nominee Kamala Harris, Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.

President Trump holds a cabinet meeting at Camp David – July 31, 2026

President Trump on Wednesday told reporters at a cabinet meeting that he believes Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is to blame for a cyber attack in the state, not the Iranians.

A reported cyber attack targeted water systems in at least seven states, including Minnesota, this week. According to CBS, more than 30 water systems across Minnesota were impacted, and multiple federal agencies were investigating the cause.

The New York Times reported that Iran is a suspect in the hack, amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Early in the cabinet meeting, Trump briefly addressed the incident, dismissing the notion that Iran was behind the attack.

“Today, I just want to mention that today we heard in Minnesota there was a cyber attack, and they blamed it on Iran. I don’t think so,” the President said.

“I blame it on Minnesota because they’re grossly incompetent.”

“There was a cyber attack of 30 water plants, and I would blame it on Minnesota and the Governor, the corrupt governor of Minnesota,” he added, ridiculing the claim of Iranian interference.

Trump further noted, “Iran should be so lucky. Iran’s got bigger problems than worrying about Minnesota.

WATCH:

Later, Trump was asked a shouted question about whether Iran was behind the cyber attack as he dismissed the press, and he went off on the “grossly incompetent” governor, Tim Walz.

“I think the governor is behind it. I don’t think there was an Iranian cyber attack. I think that Minnesota ought to get its act together. It’s one of the worst-run states,” Trump said before saying that his White House anti-fraud task force, led by Vice President Vance, continues to find  “tremendous corruption in Minnesota.”

A new report from Vance, Trump said, reveals “Massive future things having to do with corruption in Minnesota are happening right now.

WATCH:

Trump: No, I think Minnesota is behind it. You know who’s behind it? Minnesota, because they’re grossly incompetent. I think the governor is behind it. I don’t think there was an Iranian cyber attack. I think that Minnesota ought to get its act together. It’s one of the worst-run states. JD will tell you. He found tremendous corruption in Minnesota. And by the way, just gave me a report. Massive, massive future things having to do with corruption in Minnesota are happening right now.

The 27-year-old, whose real name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, came under fire earlier this month for declaring, “This is the Islamic Republic of New Yorkistan,” while celebrating Egypt’s World Cup win over Australia.

“Islam will be in every household, Inshallah. The whole world is Muslim. Welcome to Mamdani’s New York,” he said after screaming “Allah Akbar” and saying “f*ck you” to the camera.

“You see this city? You see how it looks? Inshallah, your city looks just like this, too.”

Musk previously called for Sneako’s deportation in response to Alex Jones, writing, “Deport him NOW!!”

“Yes!” Musk chimed in.

In a now-deleted tweet, Sneako responded to the invasion of Spain on Thursday, writing, “The rest of Europe next inshallah.”

Drew Pavlou posted a screenshot of the post, writing, “Sneako needs to be deported,” which elicited a response from Musk.

‘NOT SURE’: Will Trump Backtrack on Licensing Patriot Missiles to Ukraine? President Says US Must Be ‘Cautious With These Advanced Weapons’

Another ‘big victory’ in the MSM that did not materialize.

Lately, we see a tendency by Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky and his Globalist backers (Emmanuel Macron, Friedrich Merz, NATO’s Mark Rutte) to take what probably amounted to evasive answers by US President Donald J. Trump and turn it into wholehearted promises.

The supposed new Trump support for Ukraine in the war, so far, amounted to meetings and photo-ops.

That appears to be exactly the case with the much advertised and celebrated ‘decision’ to license Ukraine Patriot air defense missiles.

This was lauded in the MSM as something that would imminently tip the scales of the war – despite the fact that even if everything progressed rapidly, it would take two, maybe three years to start producing these.

It also doesn’t hurt pointing out that no amount of air defense missiles will help Kiev on the seemingly impossible task of conquering back the 20% of territory now incorporated by Russia.

But after all the hoopla, Trump has told FT that he has not decided whether to allow Ukraine to produce Patriot surface-to-air interceptor missiles.

Financial Times reported:

“The US president said in a phone interview with the FT on Thursday that he was ‘not sure’ whether Washington would grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot missiles, adding that ‘we’re looking at it’.

‘It’s a very extraordinary weapon, and we have to be a little bit careful of who we license to. We don’t really license equipment’.”

Ukraine needs the Patriot air-defense system to try to intercept Russian ballistic missiles targeting its cities.

“Persuading Trump to consider allowing Kiev to produce the missiles represents a significant achievement for Zelensky”, FT writes.

So, now, it’s not actually getting the license, building the factory and finally the missiles that is the ‘achievement’ – it’s getting Trump to even consider it.

“Following the White House meeting on Tuesday [28], Zelensky said Trump ‘accepted that he will give us licenses.’ Zelenskyy added that he had recently met producers of the Patriot system: ‘I had [a] meeting with the representatives of production.  I hope that we will do co-production. This is very important’.”

“Very simply put, we want the war in Ukraine with Russia ended. I’m not looking for missiles. We’re looking for peace.” DJT
