The Gateway Pundit reported on Evan Barker, a former Obama intern and lifelong Democrat, who left the party after what she saw as a volunteer at the Democratic National Convention.

In 2024, in an op-ed for Newsweek, she expanded on why she became so “disenchanted” with Democrat leadership despite raising “tens of millions of dollars” for them and why she left the party.

Next week, Baker’s memoir, “Nothing Left: Confessions of a Democratic Operative,” is set to drop.

The Wall Street Journal’s Barton Swaim previewed the book noting:

Ms. Barker’s chronicle teems with people I would gently describe as not normal. One fellow consultant hires a “resistance artist” to paint a mural of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s face on the roof of his Washington condominium. Ms. Barker’s associates, including white men, vilify whiteness and maleness as a kind of daily religious ritual.

Most men in progressive circles participated in the bashing,” Ms. Barker writes. “They’d virtue-signal their disdain for their own gender by saying things like I want to elect more people who look like you, and less people who look like me!” The self-flagellation served mainly as self-protection.”

“People would confide in me, ‘I employ a lot of annoying m— f—’ and ‘No wonder the establishment thinks we are insane,’ ” Ms. Barker recalls, “right before hopping on a Zoom meeting to say their pronouns and bash white men.”

She doesn’t exempt herself from censure. Scanning the résumés of job applicants, she would search candidates’ names on the internet and discard the ones from white men. “I knew it was wrong,” she says, “but I had to do it.”

In an interview on Real America’s Voice, Barker shared, “This is not something that was ever publicly announced, right? So the general public doesn’t even know about this.”

“But like George Soros’s organization, for instance, they put out a pledge to only fund organizations in the Democratic Party that were led by people of color for 5 years, which is, I mean, I saw personally people that were turned down for jobs because the organization realized they needed to have the right identity leading their organization or they could be denied funding.”

“And it just, it had a real systemic effect.”

“I myself, I was pressured at times, there was a lot of social and peer pressure to not hire white men especially.”

“I feel very bad about this, but this book is called ‘Confessions of a Democratic Operative,’ so I have to confess my own sins too, right?”

“I, um, you know, I was in positions of hiring, and when I would get resumes, the very first thing I did is Google their names on the internet to see what their race was, to see if they were a man.”

“And if they were, I didn’t set up interviews with them. And this happened all throughout the Democratic Party.”

“There was a systemic push in the party to discriminate against white people.”

“And it was, it came down on high from the very highest levels of the party.”

Much has been written about the alarming rise of democratic socialism, aka communism, in America. Now, a new study has come out showing the group most susceptible to this brainwashing and explaining a key policy of the DSA.

On Tuesday, famed liberal pollster Nate Silver conducted a study to determine the strongest Democratic voting group in America, with a specific focus on Democratic socialists. He was inspired to do this after hearing how DSA-backed candidates like Graham Platner and Abdul El-Sayed claim to have the backing of ordinary working-class Americans.

But the data instead shows these socialist candidates actually perform best with college-educated voters. To be most specific, their strongest backing comes from voters with postgraduate degrees but lower-to-middle household incomes of $30K to $60K per year.

What is the most Democratic voting group in America? It’s voters with postgraduate degrees but lower-to-middle household incomes of $30K to $60K per year.

This is very much also the sweet spot for the DSA. In the group’s most recent member survey in 2021, 80 percent of members aged 25 or older had bachelor’s degrees, but 45 percent had household incomes below $60,000 per year.

This is unusual because education and income are usually substantially positively correlated. In the composite CES data, only 19 percent of Americans with bachelor’s degrees or higher had household incomes of $60K or below. The DSA rate is around twice that.

These voters aren’t necessarily “blue collar” in the sense of working with their hands. But that doesn’t mean they’re privileged. Common occupations among DSA members include teachers, nonprofit workers, social workers, and public-sector employees.

And guess what these overeducated leftists have in common? Lots of student debt.

Per Education Data Initiative, graduate student borrowers have an average outstanding debt of $106,129 based on 2025 data. This rises to a whopping $180,757 for those with doctorates.

When one combines this reality with sub-six-figure salaries, the natural recourse is for these voters to look for someone to save them instead of taking accountability.

This explains why socialist politicians like Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont have for years campaigned on canceling student loan debt regardless of income. They have access to the same data as Silver.

In addition, “cancel student debt” is an easy-to-remember and easy-to-explain slogan. The best leftist communicators in politics understand the best way to convert and maintain voters is with simplicity, not drowning in weeds with policy papers.

Thus, now you have an overeducated, entitled group of voters who are becoming a force in Democratic politics. Karl Marx could not have drawn it up any better.

Country music superstar Ella Langley suddenly finds herself in the company of legends.

But through no fault of her own, this development has apparently triggered the world’s most miserable people: Online liberals.

Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” held onto the No. 1 spot on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 for the 14th-consecutive week, tying a record previously shared by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey for non-holiday music and sending online liberals into fits of apoplexy. Langley, see, is apparently suspected of harboring conservative views.

But it’s the leftist reaction that’s truly crazy.

For one thing, her chart-topping juggernaut of a song sounds … well … like a typical country song.

Of course, Langley’s husky vocals bring something special to it. But this is not like Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North of Richmond” or Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town” — 2023 hits that had political and economic messages.

“Choosin’ Texas” has no political overtones at all.

Instead, Langley — an Alabama native — sings in the voice of a woman from Tennessee who realizes that her man’s heart lies with a Texas woman. Readers may watch the song’s video below.

Despite its conventional theme, that song, beautifully sung, has made history. For comparison’s sake, Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” sits in second place on this week’s Hot 100 Chart.

Who sits in third place? You guessed it: Langley with “Be Her.” And incredibly, the country music superstar’s “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” a duet with Morgan Wallen, is at No. 7 this week.

So it’s Langley’s overall work, as opposed to the unique popularity of one song or another, that appears to be driving her success. But why? One user on the social media platform X has a theory.

“The visceral reaction from the Left over Ella Langley is not complicated. They hate Whites, they hate beauty, they hate anything wholesome, and they especially hate America because it is all of those things. Langley represents something they thought they killed,” the user wrote.

Why would a bitter liberal refer to the singer as “Ella Magaley”? After all, evidence for her political leanings remains fairly scarce.

According to the black culture news-focused website Blavity, Langley performed at Kid Rock’s Rock the Country music festival, which also featured Aldean. In the liberal mind, of course, one must not associate with any artist who supports President Donald Trump, let alone two of them.

Moreover, as Sky News Australia commentator Kinsey Schofield noted in April, leftists tried to cancel Langley after online sleuths noticed that she followed “The Charlie Kirk Show” on TikTok. Recall, of course, that demon-possessed leftists celebrated the conservative activist’s assassination in September 2025.

Older men, to be clear, probably have no business writing about contemporary music. After all, I confess that until today I had never heard of Langley.

The exercise, however, has not been in vain, for anything that irritates liberals is, by definition, a good thing.

And that means that Langley has earned herself a new fan.

President Trump on Saturday zinged CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during his speech at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, slamming her for being a nasty leftist and saying she looks like a transgender.

This shouldn’t offend anybody, by the way. Trans women are women, right?

Trump went off on Collins, first taking aim at her winning the award for Excellence in Presidential News Coverage by Visual Journalists. He slammed the award as “a fake” and “all about me,” and saying she doesn’t deserve to win.

Collins won the award for her coverage of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s famous February 2025 visit to the White House, where Trump and Vice President JD Vance sent him home packing.

Collins won the award and a $5000 prize for “uniquely covering the presidency from a journalistic standpoint,” as seen in the clip below:

“I want to personally congratulate CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on receiving her award. It was all about me. It’s a fake— she shouldn’t get the award. It was a fake, but I didn’t mind. I said, ‘Kaitlan, congratulations,’ but it was fake. There’s no question about it,” Trump said.

“But she’s a young, attractive woman. She never smiles. I said, ‘Kaitlan, do you ever smile? Smile. You have a nice position, you’re at CNN fake news, you should be a happy person. Just smile, Kaitlan, just smile. But we attack.”

Then, Trump took aim at her appearance, noting her striking resemblance to trans Bud Light influencer Dylan Mulvaney, who caused the company’s share price and sales to plummet when they went woke. Collins has also been compared to conservative activist Scott Pressler in the past.

“I thought Caitlin had really made it big with a major new sponsorship, but then I informed her that it wasn’t her on the Bud Light can. It was Dylan Mulvaney,” the President joked.

Predictably, none of the leftist reporters laughed.

“Dylan Mulvaney cost Bud Light $35 billion in market cap. That was the worst commercial ever made, by the way, for those few people that want to hear that. Most people don’t care, but I would. I wouldn’t want to hire Dylan anytime soon,” Trump added. “Think of it, they hired Dylan Mulvaney, and their market cap has gone down by $35 billion! Who wrote that commercial?”

This may have been one of Trump’s all time greatest hits.

Trump has previously attacked Collins relentlessly for her nasty attitude and refusal to smile. Last month, the President tore into the leftist journalist during an Oval Office press conference, blasting her as a “corrupt reporter,” and noting, “She’s a young, beautiful woman, never smiles. I never see a smile on her face.

In what appears to be another case of left-wing indoctrination at a young age, Campus Reform is reporting, “George Washington University is offering a free summer program that grooms local middle school students for progressive activism…”

“The Civic Changemakers program, operated by the university’s Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service, pairs middle school children with adult college students, includes field trips and workshops, and culminates in an activism project.”

It’s bad enough that college students are being indoctrinated in Woke ideology across the country, but this reveals the left is targeting students as young as middle school for leftist brainwashing.

Rather than teaching basic academics, this program focuses on left-wing activism and controversial issues.

This is hardly the first time this has been tried either.

“A 2020 university report described students participating in lessons centered on the Black Lives Matter movement and helping “children learn social justice.”

This is precisely what students don’t need: BLM indoctrination, more math, less BLM.

George Washington University is also one of the schools still focused on DEI despite everything the federal government has done to end DEI.

“The university renamed its annual Diversity Summit as the “OneGW Summit: Community, Culture & Inclusion,” while continuing to promote programming focused on diversity, inclusion, equity, identity, and community engagement.”

This is a trick other schools have tried that is continuing DEI under another name.

This is unacceptable and a slight against the American public.

Schools should promote academics and learning, not indoctrination and BLM.

Sadly, schools have begun brainwashing at a young age in liberal ideology, as if college wasn’t early enough. George Washington University should live up to its name and promote American values.
