A lifelong Democrat who served on President Bill Clinton’s National Security Council and in the State Department under Madeleine Albright is issuing a stark warning that every American needs to hear.

Jamie Metzl, a human rights and civil rights advocate with deep roots in the Democrat Party establishment, took to X on Saturday and declared that the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) represent a clear and present danger, not just to his party, but to America.

According to Metzl, this is a highly coordinated, dangerous strategy by a small group of radical extremists who are actively working to hijack the Democrat Party, crash our economy, and completely dismantle our American system of government.

Look at what Metzl posted in his devastating exposé:

“I am a lifelong Democrat. I served on President Clinton’s National Security Council and in the State Department under Madeleine Albright. I am also a lifelong human rights and civil rights advocate.

But every Democrat and every American should recognize that the DSA represents a fundamental threat to our party and our country.

This is not a story about a few idealists seeking to reduce healthcare costs. It is about a small group of radical extremists pursuing a strategy to take over the Democratic Party and ultimately our country in order to impose an agenda that would devastate our economy and fundamentally dismantle our system of government.

Don’t take my word for it. Listen to the full conversation between Fox News’ Martha MacCallum and New York City DSA co-chair Gustavo Gordillo and judge for yourself.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Gustavo Gordillo went on national television and openly defended the DSA’s radical platform while demonstrating a shocking ignorance of basic American government.

He called the United States Senate an “undemocratic institution” because it gives equal representation to smaller states and large ones, revealing he does not even understand the fundamental difference between the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The DSA’s official “Workers Deserve More” platform, which The Gateway Pundit has extensively documented, calls for:

  • Eliminate the U.S. Senate.
  • Replace the President with an executive chosen by Congress.
  • Replace the Supreme Court with a judiciary subordinate to Congress.
  • Grant universal amnesty to all illegal aliens.
  • Defund the Department of Defense (which the platform refers to as the “Department of War”).
  • Close overseas U.S. military bases.
  • End American economic sanctions against foreign adversaries.
  • Abolish what it calls the “carceral forces of the capitalist state,” including sweeping police and prison reforms.

If implemented, these proposals would fundamentally transform the American system of government by eliminating the constitutional separation of powers established by the Founding Fathers.

The DSA has become increasingly influential inside Democrat politics, with many of its members and allies winning elected office at the local, state, and federal levels.

Socialism Fails: Why the Danish Model Won’t Work in the U.S.

Socialism Fails: Why the Danish Model Won’t Work in the U.S.

Socialism Fails: Why the Danish Model Won’t Work in the U.S.
July 19, 2026

The Danish system is not transferable to the United States because it was developed in a small, homogeneous, high-trust society. As immigration has increased, many of the social benefits associated with Denmark’s welfare model have declined, while the country’s high taxes have remained.

Denmark is regularly held up in U.S. political debate as proof that socialism works, with the country’s high taxes, universal healthcare, and generous benefits cited as a model the United States could adopt if it were only willing to embrace socialism the way Denmark has. The comparison usually comes with a pointed question: if socialism produces this standard of living in Denmark, why can’t the United States do the same?

The record of countries that have actually implemented socialism answers that question on its own. China, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, and Venezuela have all organized their economies around state or Communist Party control of production. All five rank among the world’s most repressed economies and least free societies. Denmark’s nominal GDP per capita is high at $77,046, but it still trails the United States’ $89,991. The other five countries badly trail both: China sits at $13,968, Venezuela at $3,736, Laos at $2,288, and North Korea at just $640.

Cuba’s official GDP per capita is reported at more than $7,000 per year. That figure is calculated using the government’s official exchange rates, which bear little resemblance to the rate used in everyday transactions. At market exchange rates, the average state worker earns only about $15 to $25 per month.

On political rights and civil liberties, Freedom House’s 2026 report rates China at 9 out of 100 and North Korea at 3, both among the world’s least free states. Cuba, Laos, and Venezuela are all rated “Not Free” as well. Socialism, in its actual historical applications, has consistently produced restricted freedom and a low standard of living for the citizens living under it.

Denmark is frequently described as a socialist success story, but the label does not match how the Danish economy actually functions. Socialism, in its standard economic definition, means state or collective ownership of the means of production, with government directing investment, pricing, and output. Denmark does not operate this way. It is a capitalist market economy with private ownership of firms, competitive markets, and free trade. It carries a large tax-funded welfare and transfer system layered on top. That is the same market foundation the United States has, just carrying a much heavier tax load.

According to the OECD’s Revenue Statistics 2025, Denmark’s tax-to-GDP ratio reached 45.2% in 2024, the highest in the OECD for the second consecutive year, up from 44.0% in 2023. By comparison, the OECD average was 34.1% in 2024, and the United States collected roughly 25.6% of GDP in tax revenue, near the bottom of the OECD. That revenue funds redistribution and social insurance, not state-run enterprise.

Denmark’s private sector remains dominant, and government involvement is concentrated in financing benefits rather than owning production. The result is a market economy with a Gini coefficient of 28.6, among the lowest measures of income inequality globally, and a poverty rate of about 4% as of 2021.

Supporters of socialism believe that Denmark’s positive outcomes result from the redistribution of wealth through taxation. However, the country’s success is more strongly rooted in its cultural and demographic characteristics.

On crime, Denmark’s homicide rate has run near 1.2 per 100,000 people. That is far below the global average of 7.4 and well under the roughly 5.76 per 100,000 recorded in the United States in 2023 among G7 nations.

Denmark ranks among the highest-trust societies in the world. Seventy-four percent of Danes say most people can be trusted, according to global trust rankings compiled from the Integrated Values Surveys, putting Denmark first worldwide alongside Norway and Finland. That trust extends to institutions. Perceived government corruption in Denmark sits under 20%, the lowest level recorded among OECD countries, per OECD social indicators.

A strong but balanced work ethic is another feature of Danish culture that makes the economic system work. Denmark’s employment rate stood at 77.0% in Q3 2025, compared with 71.7% in the United States the same quarter. Labor force participation shows the same gap. 82.4% of Denmark’s working-age population, ages 15 to 64, was in the labor force in Q3 2025, versus 75.1% in the United States.

On unemployment, however, the United States performs better. Denmark’s rate climbed to 7.4% in January 2026, its highest level since 2004. It eased to 7.0% by March 2026, according to Eurostat data. The US, by comparison, held at 4.3% in April 2026, per OECD data.

One likely explanation is that Denmark’s payroll taxes and mandatory employer contributions raise the cost of hiring, making firms more cautious about adding workers. At the same time, Denmark’s generous unemployment benefits reduce the urgency for unemployed workers to return to work. Together, these factors may help explain why Denmark’s unemployment rate is higher than that of the United States, where taxes are lower and the social safety net is less extensive.

The homogeneity of the Danish population was one reason its socialist policies were able to function as intended. However, as Denmark admitted larger numbers of immigrants from North Africa, Africa, the Middle East, and other lower-trust societies, crime increased and welfare dependency rose.

Denmark’s demographic composition has shifted substantially since 1980. African and Asian migrants rose from about 1% of the population in 1980 to roughly 6% by the mid-2000s, according to Minority Rights Group. By January 2005, non-Western immigrants and their descendants made up 5.9% of the population.

By January 2024, that figure had grown to 10% non-Western plus 6% Western, for a combined 16% of the population, according to Denmark’s own migration report to the OECD. The report describes the non-Western share as having “increased continuously since 1980.”

Over the same broad period, violent crime has moved in the same direction. Reported violent crimes rose over the 2012–2022 decade even as total reported crime fell, driven by a sharp decline in property crime. Immigrants and their descendants are markedly overrepresented in the resulting conviction and incarceration figures.

In 2022, of 17,240 penal code convictions among 15 to 79-year-olds, 29.7% involved immigrants or descendants, who made up only 15.2% of that population. That is a conviction rate roughly 2.4 times the native rate, with the widest gaps in homicide, robbery, and rape.

Non-Western immigrants specifically, 8.4% of the population, accounted for 14% of aggravated violence convictions and 24.3% of rape convictions. Their Denmark-born children, just 2.2% of the population, accounted for a further 15.6% of violent crime convictions and 8.1% of rape convictions, according to Ministry of Justice figures.

The pattern carries through to Denmark’s prisons. People of Danish origin made up only 50.4% of the population in closed prisons nationally, and just 33.9% in Copenhagen prisons, despite Danish-origin residents accounting for 84% of the national population and 72% of Copenhagen’s.

The welfare dependency gap is large and persistent. The employment rate for non-Western immigrants ran about 22% below that of ethnic Danes as of 2020, according to the Bertelsmann Stiftung’s Sustainable Governance Indicators report on Denmark. Earlier research found welfare dependency among non-Western immigrants “remains high after many years in Denmark,” with an employment rate around 47% versus 76% for natives.

A 2021 Danish Ministry of Finance analysis found that immigrants from the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Turkey cost the Danish welfare system a net 14,200 euros per person annually. By comparison, the average Dane contributed a net 1,100 euros, and a Western immigrant contributed a net 4,700 euros.

Denmark’s own policy response has been to cut benefits specifically for immigrants rather than for the population broadly. In 2002, Denmark reduced welfare payments for non-EU immigrants by roughly 50%. In 2015, it did so again, replacing standard unemployment support for migrants with a lower “integration benefit.” Both moves were a deliberate attempt to reduce the immigration incentive the Danish welfare system otherwise creates.

Returning to the comparison with the United States, one reason the United States does not seek to adopt the Danish model is that it functioned in a small, homogeneous society. Since the 1990s, as immigration has increased, the benefits of that model have steadily declined, crime has risen, and taxes have remained high. Taken together, there appears to be little about the Danish system to suggest that socialism works or that the United States should replace its current economic system with the Danish model.

James Carville Says AOC Will Not be the 2028 Democrat Candidate for President: ‘She’s Not Gonna Have Any Chance’ (VIDEO)
July 19, 2026

Screencap of YouTube video.

Longtime Democrat strategist James Carville is predicting that far left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will not be the Democrat nominee for president, during a recent discussion with Greta Van Susteren of Newsmax.

According to Carville, the Democrat nominee is chosen by southern black voters and he says that they are more conservative than most people realize.

He says that AOC has no chance at this, noting that he might be wrong.

Mediaite has details:

James Carville will not be betting on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) to be the Democratic nominee for president anytime soon.

The veteran Dem strategist told Newsmax anchor Greta Van Susteren on Thursday he believes AOC has no shot at being the nominee in 2028. Why? Because she’s too far left, he said.

“Let me say something very clearly: The Democrats — not even in ’72 – never nominate the most liberal candidate,” he said. “But that’s the fantasy of the right wing, that the Democrats are going to nominate the a socialist, urbanist, whatever [candidate].”

Carville continued:

I think AOC is remarkably talented, let me be very clear about that. Her staff work is pristine, but she’s not gonna run for president because she’s not gonna have any chance.

Remember who decides who the Democratic nominee is, and that is Southern Blacks. And I got news for you — they’re not that liberal.

This video is cued to begin at the 23:48 mark:

The DSA is going to push for AOC, or at least someone like her, to be the Democrat nominee, but if what Carville said here is correct, it could set off a civil war in the party.

What happens if Democrats keep South Carolina as the state for their first primary and the black voters there choose Kamala Harris to be the nominee again? None of the leftists in the DSA are going to accept that choice.

It would create a massive schism among Democrats and it could absolutely happen.

Democrat Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear Admits He Got Calls from “Agencies” Claiming Mitch McConnell Had “Passed” Before the Hospital Photo Dropped
July 19, 2026

Kentucky Democrat Governor Andy Beshear just admitted he received not one but TWO calls from agencies suggesting longtime Republican Senator Mitch McConnell was dead while the 84-year-old senator was hospitalized and largely silent for nearly a month.

The 84-year-old Kentucky senator was reportedly found unconscious in his D.C. home last month before he was hospitalized.

Conservative reporter Laura Loomer said a White House source told her that McConnell is being kept alive with machines and is “brain dead.”

In a recent interview with Katie Couric posted on Wednesday, Kentucky Democrat Governor Andy Beshear spilled the beans, according to Fox News.

“It had been a month before anything had been put out, not even an official statement from Senator McConnell. In fact, I’d gotten two calls from different agencies, not state agencies, suggesting he’d passed,” Beshear said. “So, this rampant speculation that was out there, it needed to end.”

The Democrat governor claimed the calls came from “different agencies” but refused to name them. He also noted they were not state agencies.

Beshear had been publicly demanding updates and even sent a letter to McConnell’s office. Now he reveals he was being told the senator might already be gone.

Meanwhile, Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin added fuel to the fire, then quickly backtracked.

Johnson initially told Real America’s Voice he had “heard from some other sources” that the hospital photo “was an older photo.”

Johnson also questioned whether McConnell himself had authored the accompanying statement.

Hours later, however, Johnson reversed course, telling NewsNation to “discount all that” and acknowledging he had no evidence supporting the rumor.

Johnson wished McConnell a full recovery so the Kentucky senator could return and help advance President Trump’s agenda.

McConnell was hospitalized after a fall on June 14 that left him briefly unconscious. For weeks his office released almost nothing of substance. Speculation exploded.

On July 12, McConnell’s office finally released a statement saying he suffered a fall, developed mild pneumonia, and was undergoing rehab.

Doctors ruled out heart attack, stroke, tumors, hemorrhages, broken bones, or concussion. The statement came with a photo of McConnell in a hospital bed next to his wife Elaine Chao, holding a copy of that day’s Washington Post sports section.

Attorney for the influencers released a blistering statement Saturday night after Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Miami.

The United Kingdom, a corrupt and fallen nation that jails its own citizens for tweets while ignoring the rape gangs it found too inconvenient to prosecute, conjured up a wave of charges against the Tate brothers and sought their extradition after U.S. Marshals arrested them in Miami.

Influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate, dual U.S.-British citizens and vocal Trump supporters, were taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Miami under a sealed warrant just before Andrew was set to co-host a bareknuckle boxing event. British prosecutors immediately announced they are seeking extradition on original charges plus a raft of additional counts.

The brothers deny all allegations against them. They are expected to challenge the extradition request in federal court.

Joseph D. McBride, attorney for Andrew and Tristan Tate, released a blistering statement that cuts straight through the propaganda:

“The world knows Andrew and Tristan Tate are innocent. Their enemies know it best of all. That is exactly why they have been attacked.

Last night, the United Kingdom, a corrupt and fallen nation that jails its own citizens for tweets while ignoring rape gangs it found too inconvenient to prosecute, conjured up a wave of charges against the Tate brothers. This is not law enforcement. This is a political hit ordered by a dying empire that fears two free men with a microphone more than it fears actual criminals walking its streets.

Understand what Britain just did. There is a long-standing agreement between the UK and Romanian governments that the UK would not seek extradition while the Romanian proceedings are pending. Those proceedings are ongoing right now. That agreement exists because no nation gets to trample the judicial sovereignty of another for political convenience. The UK shredded its own word the moment it became useful to shred it. That is who they are.

And the timing is no accident. For years, I have been litigating a defamation lawsuit in Palm Beach, Florida, that has absolutely destroyed the baseless allegations against the Tate brothers, piece by piece, under oath, on the record. That case goes to trial within six months. The UK knows it. They watched their lies get demolished in an American courtroom, and they panicked. This extradition demand has one purpose: to kidnap Andrew and Tristan through paperwork before an American jury exposes the truth to the entire world.

Worse, our understanding is that this arrest was greenlighted by a low-level functionary at the Department of Justice who never got approval from leadership. Think about that. Two men who came to this country openly, lawfully, and peacefully were thrown in a cage on the say-so of a bureaucrat freelancing with the full force of American law enforcement.

We are confident that once a competent judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority, Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free. America does not do Britain’s political dirty work. Not here. Never.

America is watching. The world is watching. And we will win.”

In March 2024, Romanian authorities arrested them again at the behest of UK officials over decade-old allegations.

In February 2025, after Romanian authorities lifted travel restrictions, amid reports of Trump administration interest in the case, the brothers flew to Florida on a private jet.

The left and legacy media immediately demanded they be barred or investigated. Now the UK has escalated with additional charges dating back to 2010-2017 while Romanian proceedings remain active.
