Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) put her IQ on full display on Friday when she was asked about the Democratic Socialists of America’s (DSA) desire to abolish the Senate.

The Democratic Socialists of America recently unveiled their new “Workers Deserve More” platform, which includes abolishing the Senate and expanding the House of Representatives, replacing the Supreme Court and the President with Congressionally chosen leaders, ranked-choice voting in all elections, open borders and amnesty for all, and abolishing private businesses.

During a Friday appearance on Fox News, New York City DSA co-chair Gustavo Gordillo discussed the DSA’s vision, describing the democratically elected Senate as “a non-democratic institution.”

“It gives more representation to people in smaller states than to the 30 million people in California,” he said. He did not respond to Martha MacCallum educating him on the balance created by the Senate giving states equal representation, while the House of Representatives is apportioned based on a state’s population.

Instead, he noted that “most people are very unhappy with the political system” and demanded radical changes to the Constitution. “Back in those moments,” he said, referencing the abolition of slavery and granting women’s suffrage, “those were considered radical movements because those people dared to say we need transformative change in the United States.”

He then doubled down on abolishing or reforming the Senate and emphasized his focus on “short-term” change, including freezing rent and universal childcare.

WATCH:

Likewise, AOC tried to claim the Senate goes against democratic values, claiming that it emerged from Jim Crow segregation laws.

The Senate was created in the Constitution when it was ratified in 1788, and the first session was held in 1789. The Jim Crow era spanned from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century, beginning nearly 100 years after the Senate opened its doors.

But they apparently don’t teach that in arts degree programs.

“I don’t support the filibuster. I don’t support elements of this institution that we know, um, you know, were founded on, on, uh, on Jim Crow,” she said, wincing as if it was painful to think.

WATCH:

Meanwhile, as The Gateway Pundit reported, several other House Democrats wisely distanced themselves from the DSA’s radical agenda when confronted on Friday.

Hikers face grizzly bear encounter in Alaska – Screengrab Social Media/X

They kept their cool, and that just might have saved their lives.

Hiking is a great pastime and exercise, but it can also be dangerous, depending on where you are.

One of the most terrifying things that can befall hikers is to bump into a bear – and worse, a grizzly bear.

For three hikers in an Alaskan trail, the outdoor event turned into a horrific test of survival after their heart-pounding encounter with a grizzly bear.

The New York Post reported:

“The hikers rounded a corner and found themselves face-to-face with the bear, nicknamed ‘Scuba Sue’, while it was hunting for salmon along a narrow trail at the Anan Creek Wildlife Observatory in southeast Alaska.

Speaking on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’, the trio detailed how they relied on crucial park ranger safety protocols to stay calm after finding themselves trapped on the path.

’We’d actually been watching bears, hoping that there were salmon coming up the river. We saw about four or five bears earlier. Those were black bears. And then coming back on the trail, we had an unexpected encounter’, Dr. Michelle Lynn Thaller said. ‘Right around the corner came this grizzly bear’.”

Footage of the encounter shows the bear getting much closer than anyone would have wanted.

The group calmly talked to the bear, slowly backed away and allowed the animal to pass on the path.

“‘Oh, [I] was definitely terrified. And then we remembered what the rangers told us, which was what you said, to be big, talk to the bear, keep it calm and get out of its way’, hiker Tanya Thompson said.”

UNBELIEVABLE! Hunter Biden SLAMS Merrick Garland for Not Aggressively Prosecuting More Conservatives Following January 6: ‘The Single Greatest Mistake of My Father’s Administration’
July 18, 2026

Hunter Biden argues Merrick Garland’s biggest mistake was failing to prosecute conservatives more aggressively following January 6. (Screenshot: I’ve Had It/Youtube)

Disgraced Hunter Biden declared that what he considers the “single greatest mistake” of his father’s administration was Attorney General Merrick Garland’s failure to move more aggressively against conservatives following January 6.

The comments came during Hunter Biden’s appearance on the “I’ve Had It” podcast hosted by Jennifer Welch, where he launched into an extended attack on Garland while arguing the Biden Justice Department should have opened sweeping investigations much earlier.

“The single greatest mistake of my father’s administration was the leadership of Merrick Garland,” Hunter Biden said.

Hunter acknowledged that, ultimately, responsibility rested with then-President Joe Biden because he appointed Garland.

“The buck has to stop with my dad. He was the president. He chose him,” Hunter said.

He tried to thread the needle by claiming the “buck stops with my dad” because Joe Biden chose Garland, but quickly pivoted to the usual “church and state” separation nonsense at the DOJ, while simultaneously complaining that Garland didn’t go hard enough after conservatives from the very beginning.

Hunter then launched into a full-throated defense of the J6 “insurrection” hoax, claiming it was a “concerted and planned effort” that began before the 2020 election, and bizarrely citing alleged Steve Bannon tapes from Mother Jones talking to Miles Guo the day before the election about the laptop and challenging the election results.

Hunter Biden:
The single greatest mistake of my father’s administration was the leadership of Merrick Garland.

Jennifer Welch:
I completely agree. I write about this in my book, Not Today, Fascist.

Hunter Biden:
The reason that we are in the situation that we’re in right now can almost—well, by the way, the buck has to stop with my dad. He was the president. He chose him. Now, once he chose him, he played by the, you know, a higher standard than the Marquess of Queensberry Rules. He played by the Constitution and the tradition that the president will never, you know, particularly since Nixon, involve themselves in any decision-making as it relates to anything at the Department of Justice.

So I guarantee you there was a division between church and state there. Um, but if Merrick Garland had started a completely 100% legitimate investigation rather than thinking, like, “Let’s not fan the flames,” like, what the—did you not watch what I watched? Did you not see these people storming the Capitol of the United States of America, beating cops and running congressmen and senators literally out of the building? You didn’t see that? You didn’t see a president and know that it was a concerted and planned effort on their part, beginning all the way back from the day before the election, when they knew they were going to—I mean, go back and listen.

Jennifer Welch:
They wanted to kill Mike Pence.

Hunter Biden:
Go back and listen to Steve Bannon talking to Miles Guo on the day before the election, saying exactly what they were going to do. There’s tapes. Mother Jones has these tapes that were leaked. You got to listen to the tape where he says, “This is what we’re going to do. First, we started with the laptop, and we, um, uh, you know, we took, I think, uh, license with the pictures, you know, because they did this whole thing where I was a pedophile in China and all this stuff that they put out there. And the next thing we’re going to do is we’re just going to say that the election was not legitimate. And we’re just going to say it over and over and over again.”

So we knew that it was a planned conspiracy that had a disparate number of actors all working inside and outside of the White House, at all levers of government.

Jennifer Welch:
It’s a layup.

Hunter Biden:
And he doesn’t do anything. He doesn’t do anything. The only way that we got to any prosecution of him as it related to January 6th is we had to wait for Congress to go through an entire series of hearings, and it lays it all out then, right? And we still don’t go after him. We don’t end up going after him and get Jack Smith until the documents case. And then they bring the documents case in Florida rather than in D.C. I mean, I don’t get it. I mean, I absolutely don’t get it.

WATCH:

The hypocrisy is staggering.

Hunter Biden is complaining that Merrick Garland was too soft on conservatives. Let that sink in.

Under Garland’s DOJ:

  • Over 1,500 January 6th defendants were charged, many for non-violent offenses like “parading” or walking through open doors after police waved people in. Many remain political prisoners years later.
  • Pro-life Christians praying outside abortion clinics were aggressively targeted with the FACE Act — several of those weaponized prosecutors were finally fired earlier this year.
  • Parents at school boards were labeled potential domestic terrorists.
  • Donald Trump was hit with multiple indictments by Garland-appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith.
  • The 2020 BLM/Antifa riots — which caused billions in damage, killed dozens, and saw police stations burned — were largely excused or ignored.

Yet Hunter has the audacity to claim Garland didn’t prosecute enough conservatives and that the J6 response was too slow and too restrained.

He even gripes that the documents case against Trump was brought in Florida instead of DC. That’s because that’s where the documents were, at Mar-a-Lago. The lawfare was obvious to everyone except the Biden family bubble.

The Biden administration and Merrick Garland’s DOJ did exactly what Hunter wanted in many ways: they used the machinery of justice as a political weapon against conservatives, Trump supporters, and political opponents. They just didn’t go far enough for Hunter’s liking.

Longshot Maine Senate Candidate Ashley Webb, who is running to replace former Senate Nominee Graham Platner, was reportedly revealed to have claimed he gets his monthly period through his rectum or the other “exit.”

If true, this guy should seek medical care immediately.

Webb, a transgender activist, went viral during a Democratic Party debate this week after claiming that his transparency makes him qualified for the seat. “I wouldn’t lie to the people, and I wouldn’t deceive the people,” he claimed while wearing a dress and pretending to be a woman.

At one point, he claimed the trans community is being “dehumanized,” adding, “They say that we want to hurt people.” He continued, “I don’t want to hurt anybody. I just want to use the bathroom, and if they want me to use the men’s room, I will, but I don’t want to be assaulted.”

WATCH:

Now, Breitbart has discovered a Reddit page that appears to belong to Webb.

Per Breitbart,

Reddit posts reveal the extent of Webb’s gender dysphoria. Reportedly writing under the username sparky603, Webb initially announced his run for Senate last week.

“I’m a trans and intersex woman from Farmington, and I’m running the whole campaign myself — candidate and treasurer both, no big donors, no machine behind me,” he appeared to write, asking for signatures from registered Democrats across the state and admitting he is a “long shot in a crowded field.” A similar message was posted on a campaign website.

He appears to have spent a lot of time trying to explain his self-described transgender intersex condition on Reddit forums, explaining that his karyotype is XY, which means that biologically he is a man. However, Webb states he has external male parts but said he is “pretty positive I am the XX type, accept [sic] I got internal organs, unless what I am feeling are tumors that just happen to grow where those sorts of organs are usually.”

He claims to ovulate and get monthly periods despite no evidence of female organs, asserting that his bleeding comes through his anus.

In comments under a Reddit post about Montana banning people from using a bathroom that does not correspond with their gender, the user, believed to be Webb, claims that he’s a female.

“Pretty positive I am the XX type, accept I got internal organs, unless what I am feeling are tumors that just happen to grow where those sorts of organs are usually. Was also born with external male parts,” he writes. “My testosterone is at 429ng/dl and estrogen is at 285 pg/ml. The estrogen is not effecting my male parts. Male parts are normal size. I grew breast and wider hips during puberty.”

He went on to claim that in his mid-20s, he “started getting a monthly period, that I still have.” Yet, he claimed he has been misdiagnosed with appendicitis or kidney stones.

When asked about the claim by another user, he appeared to suggest that the blood finds “one of two exits”:

When I am having this monthly period pain and it is not to bad, I feel some thing in my right side about where my appendix is located and something above the bladder. When the monthly pain is real bad, I am feeling something in both my right and left side and above my bladder.

When you don’t have the proper hole, it finds one of two exits, the guy in China was lucky and the exit was his bladder, me on the other was not so lucky. My exit connection was made with my colon. Cause when I get this monthly pain, that is where the blood comes out of.

Intersex like us don’t get diagnosed till our 20’s as we tend not to be born with extra holes. I didn’t get diagnosed in my 20’s cause I was dealing with incompetent doctors who preferred to prescribe opiate pain killers rather than find the problem.

He goes on to claim that he’s “trying to get diagnosed” still and that “the pain is in my center it is right below my belly button.” He suggests that “pin pong ball sized” lumps in his side and pain below his belly button are a uterus and ovaries, if not tumors or lymph nodes.

JUST IN: State Department Issues Worldwide Travel Advisory Amid Escalations in Iran War, Says US Interests May Be Targeted
July 18, 2026

The US State Department issued a new worldwide caution travel advisory on Saturday, warning that Iran or allied groups may target US interests abroad.

This comes after the US launched a seventh consecutive night of attacks in Iran, hitting surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities, US Central Command announced last night after the six and a half hour mission.

CENTCOM also released footage from the strikes.

WATCH:

Trump said earlier this week that strikes would continue through the week, while threatening to escalate the war further by targeting Iran’s energy, oil, and transportation infrastructure next week.

The President has further refused to rule out a ground invasion of Iran and suggested that he would take over Iran’s oil export hub of Kharg Island.

Now the Department of State is warning of a “complex” security environment, with the potential for unforeseen escalation.”

“Flight cancellations and periodic airspace closures may cause travel disruptions. U.S. diplomatic facilities, including outside the Middle East, have been targeted,” the advisory notes.

“Groups supportive of Iran may target other U.S. interests overseas or locations associated with the United States and/or Americans throughout the world.”

The worldwide caution advisory reads:

Event: Due to heightened tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unforeseen escalation.

We remind Americans in the region of the continued need for caution and encourage them to monitor the news for breaking developments.  The Department of State advises Americans worldwide, and especially in the Middle East, to exercise increased caution. Americans abroad should follow the guidance in security alerts issued by the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. Flight cancellations and periodic airspace closures may cause travel disruptions. U.S. diplomatic facilities, including outside the Middle East, have been targeted. Groups supportive of Iran may target other U.S. interests overseas or locations associated with the United States and/or Americans throughout the world.

More from Fox:

Heavy US strikes in Iran are expected after two US service members were killed in action in Jordan this week.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Iranian airstrikes in Jordan left several US servicemembers injured. “Two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action,” U.S. Central Command announced earlier.
