A trauma surgeon who worked inside the Washington hospital that treated the first diagnosed COVID-19 patient in the United States dropped a political grenade on Capitol Hill Monday.

Dr. James P. Miller told Sen. Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) roundtable, “COVID-19 Hospital Protocols: Real Stories from Real People,” that the head of infectious disease at his hospital privately admitted he was working with state government to restrict the civil rights of unvaccinated Americans.

“The head of infectious disease medicine at my hospital privately told me that he was working with the state government to restrict the civil rights of unvaccinated people,” Miller said.

“Including their ability to drive and therefore work, by making their driver’s license renewal contingent on their COVID vaccine status.”

That is not a conspiracy theory from a comment section. That is a licensed physician and surgeon, under oath in the Senate, describing what he said he heard from the man running infectious disease at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, the same hospital that treated “Patient Zero” in January 2020.

In a sworn attestation Miller previously filed for criminal investigations, he identified that official as Dr. George Diaz and said Diaz told him unvaccinated people should not be allowed to engage in society or hold a driver’s license, and that Diaz claimed he was working with the Washington governor’s office to turn that view into state policy.

Those remain Miller’s allegations. Diaz was the public face of Everett’s first-case response and an early champion of remdesivir.

The hospital that launched the national panic, and the doctor who says the panic was manufactured.

Miller was a staff surgeon and ICU provider at the Everett hospital. He also contracted independently to perform ICU quality reviews. What he found, he told Johnson’s panel, was not a heroic system stretched to the breaking point. It was fraud, fear theater, and protocols that killed.

He said his reviews uncovered fraud extending to senior hospital leadership. He reported it. Then the retaliation started.

After federal authorities sent remdesivir to the hospital, Miller said medical leadership handed physicians “misleading and inaccurate information” about the drug. When a young trauma patient looked like a textbook candidate under the official guidelines, the infectious disease doctor on call told him privately not to give it to her, because, quote, “she seemed like a nice girl.”

“Any physician honestly reviewing the real-world data at that time could have recognized early that remdesivir caused more harm than good,” Miller testified.

“During COVID-19, I was a staff surgeon, ICU provider at the hospital where the first diagnosed COVID patient in the United States was treated. I cared for hundreds of COVID patients and also contracted independently to perform ICU quality reviews at the hospital, in addition to my surgical and ICU duties as a physician.

My reviews uncovered fraud extending to senior hospital leadership. I reported these findings. There were protocols put in place that caused—thank you—that caused demonstrable harm and increased mortality.

After our hospital was given remdesivir by federal authorities, we were provided misleading and inaccurate information about the drug by medical leadership. When I had a young trauma patient just after remdesivir was released, she appeared to be a perfect candidate based on the guidelines. The infectious disease doctor on call told me privately not to give it to her because, quote, “She seemed like a nice girl,” unquote.

Any physician honestly reviewing the real-world data at that time could have recognized early that remdesivir caused more harm than good.

I observed messaging by the hospital that falsely inflated COVID infections and deaths, contributing to public fear and generating misleading headlines. In my experience, we never faced shortages of equipment or staff. I witnessed nurses being sent home because there were not enough patients, while headlines about our hospital were simultaneously running, stating that we were overwhelmed by COVID patients.

I further observed that mask and PPE protocols initiated during COVID lacked scientific basis and did not medically work, but the mask and PPE protocols did dehumanize patients and staff.

I witnessed patients who died from trauma and other causes being reported as COVID-19 deaths on their death certificates. I watched previously compassionate and devoted doctors and nurses become cruel and ambivalent about the well-being of patients as the COVID experience evolved.

The head of infectious disease medicine at my hospital privately told me that he was working with the state government to restrict the civil rights of unvaccinated people, including their ability to drive and, therefore, work, by making their driver’s license renewal contingent on their COVID vaccine status.

Hospital leadership, including the chief medical officer of our medical group, endorsed the local medical establishment’s refusal to provide healthcare to unvaccinated patients. Primary care and urgent care physicians refused to see unvaccinated patients with the chief medical officer’s knowledge and approval, through policy.

In response, I opened a free clinic to care for those denied care through my local church. The church became a licensed clinic.

I observed that many of the alternative treatments that were censored by medical societies, pharmacists, social media, the press, and established health agencies were highly effective. Treatments including ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamin D, zinc, quercetin, and just physical exercise were highly effective at treating COVID.

When I advocated for patient care rather than harmful protocols and spoke against the fraud, I was targeted for removal through baseless disciplinary actions, with a stated goal of taking away my medical license and ability to ever practice medicine again.

I endured countless unfounded disciplinary hearings, show trials, and sham peer review procedures, which included the threat of me being arrested. This was all in retaliation for me speaking out.

I defeated every attack. I remained in good standing, and I told the truth.

I witnessed physicians and nurses who observed the harms done by the COVID protocols either remain silent or be forced out of our community.

The public health officials, hospital leaders, and physicians who implemented these treatments and protocols should be held accountable. The data were available, and the harms were obvious.

Accountability is necessary if we’re going to maintain public trust and a functioning healthcare system.”

The Gateway Pundit has been screaming this for years while ABC tried to dress the same failed Ebola drug up as a “miracle cure.”

In December 2024 TGP reported that a coalition of more than 30 attorneys representing over 1,500 remdesivir victims sent ABC a cease-and-desist after the network’s medical drama portrayed the drug as a wonder treatment.

Those lawyers say patients were coerced under Emergency Use Authorization, denied informed consent, and left with kidney injury, liver damage, and death.

Nurses on the floor had their own name for it. As TGP reported in 2021 from a Cleveland Clinic whistleblower, staff called remdesivir “Run, Death Is Near.” Patients were intubated early, cheap generics were blocked, and a $5,000-a-bag antiviral that shut down organs became “standard of care.”

Even the World Health Organization eventually told hospitals not to use remdesivir in hospitalized COVID patients, citing little or no effect on mortality, a fact Fox News reported in November 2020. The federal machine kept pushing it anyway. Gilead cashed the checks.

Sen. Johnson has already put the body count on the record. In a July hearing with Anthony Fauci, Johnson cited adverse-event data showing remdesivir logged 2,751 reported deaths over 69 months, and he accused the NIH treatment panel of being stacked with members who had financial ties to Gilead. Fauci took the Fifth.

Ukraine claims it killed around 3,000 Russian soldiers in a secret operation that included dropping bomb-carrying robots behind enemy lines by drone.

The Telegraph reports that the mission, known as Operation Vivaldi, was carried out by Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps over several months.

The unit also claims it retook 48 square miles of Russian-occupied land.

According to the report, a large drone carries a small robot on wheels, loaded with explosives, 10 miles or more into Russian territory in the Donetsk region before releasing it.

The unit’s commander told The Telegraph that no other army had air-dropped ground robots behind enemy lines until now.

Operators then drive the robot, which is known as Gryphon, by remote control toward Russian troops preparing to ambush Ukrainian forces and detonate it.

The unit’s commander claimed Ukraine is the first country to use the tactic.

The drones needed to carry the robots are large enough that it is easy for Russian troops to spot and shoot down.

To get them through, Ukrainian forces jam Russian surveillance drones, hit enemy positions with artillery and drones to keep troops pinned down and fly only at night.

Some of the robots have reached as far as 12 miles behind Russian lines.

Once the robots strike, Ukrainian infantry move in on foot to capture the ground, then wait for drones and artillery to hit the next target.

Since Russia invaded the country in 2022, Ukraine has made heavy use of drones and unmanned ground vehicles. Both sides now rely on them, and they have changed how the war is fought.

Ukraine has developed its own drone industry and says it produces them in large numbers.

Its forces use small drones for reconnaissance and strikes, sea drones against Russian naval targets and ground robots to carry supplies and evacuate wounded soldiers.

As reported over the weekend, a woman in her 60s was found dead with multiple stab wounds and trauma to the head in Central Park on Sunday.

The victim was found in a gazebo near Central Park’s Boathouse, according to The New York Post.

On Monday it was reported that a suspect, a homeless man, was arrested and charged with murder.

“Police arrested Jonathan Robles, 36, Sunday night and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Authorities said Robles is a resident of the Barbour Hotel, a Midtown homeless shelter. He later surrendered to detectives and was being evaluated at a hospital ahead of an expected arraignment,” ABC 7 reported.

According to The New York Post, the victim was identified as a homeless artist named Lee Rogers.

Lee Rogers painted birds of Central Park and was known to the community.

The New York Times previously profiled Lee Rogers.

According to The Post, Lee Rogers and Jonathan Robles got into an argument before it escalated to violence.

Lee Rogers, 63, who buoyantly peddled intricate wildlife watercolors during her years of sleeping rough in the wooded Manhattan haven, died after being bludgeoned by a stick-wielding madman Sunday, law-enforcement sources said.

“She was like the Grandma Moses of Central Park,” said Robert DeCandido, a nature walk guide, referring to the 1950s American folk painter.

“When she did the bird feeders, the birders loved her. They would buy her artwork in the park,” DeCandido, who goes by “Birding Bob,” told The Post on Monday.

Sources said Rogers and Robles got into some type of argument that escalated into violence, although the details were unclear.

A 33-year-old Pakistani national has been federally charged after authorities say he ran an unauthorized website that dumped more than 5.1 million counterfeit U.S. Postal Service shipping labels into the American mail stream, and left the Postal Service holding the bag for more than $126 million.

According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Faheem Akram of Khanewal, Pakistan, operated LabelsBank.com, a site that was never authorized to sell USPS products. Investigators say the site sold fake postage at a flat cut-rate price, typically $2 a label, no matter the package’s weight, size, or destination.

Postal inspectors in Miami say more than 5,000 customers used the site.

According to NBC 6 South Florida, more than 5,200 buyers purchased the phony labels and shipped packages at rates far below what honest Americans pay. The website has now been seized and shut down.

A federal grand jury in the Southern District of Florida indicted Akram on one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States and to make and sell counterfeit postage stamps, five counts of making and selling counterfeit postage stamp labels, and four counts of wire fraud. As prosecutors note, charges are allegations. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

If convicted, he faces up to five years on the conspiracy and counterfeit-postage counts and up to 20 years on each wire-fraud count, according to NBC 6.

U.S. Attorney Jason A. Reding Quiñones, President Trump’s U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, did not mince words.

“The alleged scheme was simple but massive: sell counterfeit postage online at fixed, cut-rate prices, as little as $2 per label, regardless of a package’s weight, size, or destination, enabling customers to avoid legitimate Postal Service charges,” Quiñones said in a statement released by the Postal Inspection Service.

“The indictment alleges more than 5.1 million counterfeit labels and more than $126 million in losses. Through the work of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and our prosecutors, the website has been shut down, the domain seized, and federal charges brought against its alleged operator, a Pakistani national.”

Miami Division Postal Inspector in Charge Bladismir Rojo put the warning in plain English: “Our reach goes beyond our borders. If you are defrauding the Postal Service and targeting U.S. consumers by pushing phony postage, we will find you and bring you to justice.”

The Akram case is one slice of a much bigger hemorrhage.

A September 2026 audit from the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General estimated USPS lost $3.1 billion to counterfeit package labels from March 2024 through February 2026, and could lose hundreds of millions more if the leak is not plugged.

In fiscal 2025 alone, the agency lost an estimated $1.6 billion by accepting fake labels. Tracking data showed the overwhelming majority of those counterfeit labels still moved through the system for delivery.

ABC’s far-left daytime circus The View just did what Disney lawyers keep pretending the show never does: it used the public airwaves to pick a House race, name the Democrat, and tell people in a specific Florida district to go vote him in.

On Monday’s broadcast, co-host Ana Navarro, the network’s “Republican,” walked viewers through Florida’s 27th Congressional District, the South Florida seat she said she lives in, and then dropped the mask.

“So, anybody who lives in Coral Gables, in Miami, in Key Biscayne, in downtown Miami, pay attention to that race and go vote because it’s going to matter,” Navarro said. “And we can actually knock this woman out. There’s a great guy running, his name is Elliot Rodriguez. Give him a look.”

The “woman” is Republican Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar. The “great guy” is Democrat Eliott Rodriguez, the former CBS Miami anchor now running to flip FL-27.

Navarro also noted that Salazar won her last election comfortably but said the race has suddenly become much more competitive.

That assessment is based in part on Democratic-sponsored polling. A September survey conducted by Tulchin Research for the Democratic House Majority PAC showed Salazar at 47% and Rodriguez at 46%, while an August Bendixen & Amandi poll showed the two candidates tied at 45%. Those results should be viewed with their sponsorship in mind.

Salazar won reelection in 2024 with 199,159 votes, or 60.38%, compared with Democrat Lucia Báez-Geller’s 130,708 votes, or 39.62%, a margin of more than 20 percentage points, according to official Miami-Dade County results.

According to NewsBusters, the clip is one of the most overt examples yet of ABC News using a licensed broadcast program to electioneer. MRC associate editor Nicholas Fondacaro posted the excerpt and put it plainly: electioneering is a violation of ABC’s broadcast license.

The FEC defines electioneering as a broadcast, cable, or satellite communication that identifies a federal candidate, is distributed to the relevant electorate, and airs within 30 days of a primary or 60 days of a general election. For the November 3, 2026 general election, that federal electioneering-communication period began on September 4, 2026.

There is also “express advocacy,” which is even more direct: language unmistakably urging the election or defeat of a particular candidate. The FEC distinguishes that concept from the technical category of an “electioneering communication.”

Disney still wants you to believe this is “bona fide news.”

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr opened a public proceeding this year after Disney petitioned the Commission to declare The View a bona fide news interview program exempt from equal-opportunity rules. Carr’s point was simple: a show does not get the news exemption if its booking and commentary are “based on partisan purposes, such as an intention to advance or harm an individual’s candidacy.”

The Media Research Center has already dumped thousands of exhibits into that file. According to Fox News, MRC President David Bozell told Fox News Digital that broadcast licenses are a privilege, not an entitlement, and that ABC is operating like a partisan cable network on the public airwaves. Bozell’s letter to the FCC argued The View is not news. It is a Democratic operation.

The Gateway Pundit reported in June that MRC submitted 2,473 separate pieces of evidence documenting The View’s “pervasive bias” and, at times, “willful electioneering.” Monday’s segment belongs in that pile.

This is not the first time Navarro has used the show as a get-out-the-vote shop. In May she told viewers that if they wanted “abuses of power checked,” they had to “vote Democrats in in November, period.”

Whoopi Goldberg has run the same play, warning the audience that “our lives literally depend” on turnout. Disney still files papers in Washington calling this Meet the Press.
