Parents and students must understand that when they take out massive government loans to pay for college, this is part of what they are paying for. The exorbitant salaries of these pointless employees.
The University of Minnesota pays its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) staff members more than $1.4 million annually, according to publicly available state payroll records.
Despite federal executive orders restricting DEI offices and activities, the University of Minnesota maintains an Office for Equity and Diversity, which consists “of over 15 offices and major initiatives.”
“Equity and diversity is fundamental to everything we do at the University of Minnesota,” the office’s website says.
Record from 2025 list Vice President for Equity and Diversity Mercedes Ramírez Fernández ($391,759), Associate Vice President for Equity and Diversity and Faculty Development Keisha Varma ($238,540), Associate Vice Presidents Tina Marisam ($230,444) and Malinda Lindquist ($196,267), and Chief of Staff Elizabeth Martinez-Podolsky ($164,800).
What exactly do these people even do, sit around and complain about white people all day?
The median annual salary for a full-time worker in America is around $65,000.
Some of these DEI hires are getting around six times that much.
If young people are wondering why college is so expensive, maybe the insane, wasteful spending has something to do with it.
Newsom’s Wife Wiretapped in Sprawling Corruption Probe

Investigators have extensive wiretap evidence and may soon charge several individuals in a sprawling corruption probe involving Gavin Newsom and his wife Jennifer Newsom.
It was reported earlier this month that the FBI used a Democrat insider as an informant to infiltrate Governor Gavin Newsom’s inner circle before the corruption probe expanded into the governor and his wife Jennifer Newsom.
Recall that Newsom’s former chief of staff, Dana Williamson, was indicted on federal wire fraud charges last year.
Last month, Newsom fumed as he announced the corruption probe had expanded, and he and his wife are now under investigation.
Newsom said federal agents have contacted people and organizations close to him and his wife, Jennifer Newsom.
“Today, my wife and I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime – they are simply trying to find one,” Newsom said in a video posted to X last month.
“If he can’t intimidate me, he’ll go after the mother of our children,” Newsom said.
People close to the Newsoms have been subpoenaed for records, according to the governor.
According to Semafor, there are several investigations related to Newsom and they are focused on Jennifer Newsom’s taxes (+ his chief of staff).
Contrary to Newsom’s claims, the investigations did not originate from main DOJ in DC, but are out of Sacramento and involve whistleblowers, Semafor reported.
Earlier this month, the New York Post reported that Democrat insider Alexis Podesta wore a wire and recorded conversations during the corruption probe into Dana Williamson.
The investigation is much bigger than previously reported.

Senator John Fetterman, D-PA, blasted his own party for shifting further to the left and electing socialist candidates in different states across the country.
The Gateway Pundit spoke to Fetterman on Capitol Hill about midterm strategies, and he went scorched earth.
In an exclusive interview with TGP, Fetterman lays out his simple midterm strategy and message for Democrats:
“My strategy should be not be weird, Don’t be communist, Don’t be weirdo socialists, don’t praise Mao, and don’t do crazy sh*t.”
Fetterman is referring to Mao Zedong, the founder of communist China, who is responsible for the deaths of 40-80 million people, many of which died during the Great Chinese Famine at the height of his reign. Controversial socialist influencer, Hasan Piker hailed Mao as a “great leader.”
Despite torching his own party for being “weirdo socialists,” Fetterman told TGP he is still confident that Democrats can have a successful midterm years just as long as they “stop saying crazy shit or supporting kinds of things like that.”

Fetterman recently threatened to leave the Democratic Party if they continue to turn their backs on Israel, but did not go into detail on whether he would join the Republican Party or just be an independent.
Various GOP Senators, including Senate Majority Leader, John Thune, R-SD, have invited Fetterman to join the GOP. This move would give Republicans 54 seats in the upper chamber and make up the missing vote of Mitch McConnell, who has been “hospitalized” for over a month.
Fetterman also publicly attacked socialist New York City Mayor, Zohran Mamdani, D-NY over the latter expressing desire to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Fetterman called Mamdani a “clown” and said the reason he wants to arrest Netanyahu is because he “killed a lot of people that Mamdani admires, like that Sinwar, or Nasrallah or Khamenei in Iran.”
Mamdani had a massive victory, last month, as three Democratic House candidates that he endorsed all won their respective primaries in New York, even ousting two entrenched Democratic incumbents.
The New York Primaries were a significant blow to House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, D-NY.
With this devastating loss for the Minority Leader and with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, facing a potential 2028 primary challenge from either Mamdani or socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, it’s no wonder why Fetterman is becoming frustrated with his own party.
The rise of socialism in the modern Democratic Party continues, as Democratic socialists continue to win elections across the country, and Fetterman is having none of it. Democratic Socialists also ousted a 30-year Democratic incumbent in Colorado, which shocked the nation.
Will Fetterman leave the Democratic Party? If so, will be become a Republican? Independent? Form his own party? Only time will tell, but one thing for certain is that Fetterman remains one of the few moderate Democrats left in Congress, as the party continues to embrace socialism and communism.
Report: Ilhan Omar’s Sister Incorporated Her $20 Million USAID-Linked Consulting Firm Using the Exact Same Home Address as ‘Feeding Our Future’ Scandal

Another stunning connection has emerged between Rep. Ilhan Omar’s family and the sprawling Feeding Our Future fraud scandal that robbed American taxpayers of hundreds of millions of dollars intended to feed needy children.
Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, registered her consulting company at a Minnesota residence connected through business records to several major figures in the Feeding Our Future operation, according to an investigation by The Daily Wire.
Noor founded Grit Partners Consulting, a health and leadership consultancy focused largely on projects in Africa.
Noor’s website claims that she has “secured more than $20 million in funding for health initiatives” and consulted on projects backed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USAID, GAVI, and the World Bank.
The website does not say that Grit Partners itself received $20 million from USAID. Rather, Noor claims to have secured more than $20 million for health initiatives while consulting on projects supported by multiple agencies and organizations, including USAID. Noor’s website
But it is the address used to incorporate her company that is now raising serious questions.
According to The Daily Wire’s investigation, Grit Partners was registered at a home on Hyacinth Way in Lakeville, Minnesota.
That address reportedly belongs to Mashah Ahmed Ali and his wife, Ister Ahmed Afraa, also known as Ismahan Afraah.
Afraa’s business history intersects with multiple individuals and entities tied to the Feeding Our Future scandal.
The Daily Wire reported that Afraa established Sunrise Business Center with Hanna Marekegn, who pleaded guilty to participating in the Feeding Our Future fraud operation.
Marekegn admitted to helping steal millions of dollars while falsely claiming to provide meals to thousands of children. She also admitted that accusations of racism were used to pressure state bureaucrats when they questioned the operation’s obviously suspicious numbers.
Afraa also incorporated Sunshine Care Center MN, according to the report. State health records reportedly listed Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock as the contact person for Sunshine Care Center.
Bock was sentenced in May to 500 months — more than 41 years — in federal prison for leading the massive scheme.
According to the Justice Department, Feeding Our Future fraudulently obtained and distributed more than $240 million through over 250 meal sites.
The same Hyacinth Way residence was also used as the registered address for Diversity Childcare Center LLC, with Afraa listed as its manager in Minnesota state records. The Daily Wire reported that state records likewise identified Bock as a contact for that operation.
Another figure connected to Afraa is Sahra Mohamed Nur — not to be confused with Ilhan Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor.
Nur was sentenced to 51 months in prison and ordered to pay more than $5 million in restitution after pleading guilty to wire fraud and money laundering.
Nur operated S & S Catering, which claimed to have served more than eight million meals through the federal food program. The Justice Department said the company received more than $16 million in Feeding Our Future reimbursements based on fraudulent claims.
Afraa reportedly operated a company from Nur’s home, while the two women were associated with similarly named property companies.
This is quite the web.
When The Daily Wire contacted Mashah Ahmed Ali, he claimed he had never heard of the businesses registered at his home or the companies associated with his wife.
“There must be some sort of scam going on, I have no idea,” he told the outlet.
Ali reportedly refused to provide contact information for his wife. Afraa and Noor did not respond to The Daily Wire’s requests for comment.
To be clear, the shared address and business associations do not by themselves prove that Sahra Noor or Grit Partners participated in the Feeding Our Future fraud. Neither Noor nor Grit Partners has been publicly charged in that case.
But the newly uncovered connections demand an explanation — especially as Ilhan Omar continues to stonewall Minnesota lawmakers seeking records about her own dealings with individuals involved in the scandal.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Omar’s name appeared repeatedly in court exhibits from Bock’s criminal case, including an email chain titled “Ilhan’s Office.”
Another email reportedly carried the subject line “help with USDA food program,” while investigators recovered a text-message exchange between Omar and Bock during a search of Bock’s home.
Omar also promoted the federal food program at Safari Restaurant, one of the scheme’s major fraudulent meal sites, and her campaign received contributions from multiple Feeding Our Future defendants.
Minnesota’s House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee invited Omar to testify and requested her communications with Bock, Safari Restaurant personnel, her former staffer Guhaad Hashi Said, and numerous other Feeding Our Future defendants.
Omar failed to appear and did not provide the requested records by the committee’s May 5 deadline.
Omar has denied having any knowledge of the fraudulent scheme.
“Any claim that I had knowledge of this scheme is flat-out false,” Omar said in May.
She defended the bipartisan MEALS Act, which she introduced during the pandemic, and said she was grateful that Bock and others were being held accountable.
But Omar’s denial does not answer the committee’s questions, and it certainly does not explain why her sister’s company was incorporated at a residence connected through public records to several central figures in the largest fraud scandal in Minnesota history.

President Trump weighed in on the LeBron James-Michael Jordan debate on who will go down as the GOAT in the Oval Office on Friday.
Trump reasoned that James is either a “racist” or he just “doesn’t like Trump” after noting that Jordan is “a really good guy.”
James, a notorious Trumphater and China lover, has put himself at the forefront of political and social issues like Black Lives Matter. He has previously said that he, at one point, wanted “nothing to do with white people.”
Fox’s Peter Doocy asked the President if he thinks Michael Jordan or LeBron James is the best basketball player of all time.
“Well, Michael Jordan is a guy that’s a friend of mine, I play golf with him, he’s a really good guy,” Trump said.
“I think LeBron is maybe he’s a racist, or maybe he doesn’t like Trump, I don’t know. I only like people that like me,” he continued.
“So, I would say Michael Jordan all the way.”
