IRS Threatens to Seize Tennessee Man’s Farm Over Interest Charged on Accidental Refund That He IMMEDIATELY Tried to Return
July 23, 2026

The IRS is threatening to seize a Tennessee man’s farm after charging him interest on a refund it accidentally sent him in 2022.

Wilson Perry Kirby, 76, received an accidental $20,000 refund from the IRS on May 10, 2022, and he immediately tried to return the unspent money through his accountant.

More than four years later and Kirby is still fighting the IRS!

The IRS is withholding Kirby’s $1,800 refund from 2025 and is now threatening to seize his Coopertown farm over interest charges up to $4,300.

“I’ve tried the president, governor, mayor. They don’t mind asking you to vote for them, but when you need help you can’t get a hold of nobody,” Kirby told WTVF.

Kirby said he thought the matter was resolved earlier this year when he heard from Senator Marsha Blackburn.

“Well, they called me right before I went on television this last time and said it was settled, from Marsha Blackburn’s office,” Kirby said.

Kirby said the letters from the IRS kept coming, and the harassing phone calls did not stop.

“I wish they would get it straightened out. And get one person to work on it, instead of sending these letters from all over the United States,” Kirby said.

Kirby said the years-long fight with the IRS has taken an emotional toll on him.

“I’ve cried, I’m ’bout to cry right now, I don’t know what I’m going to do,” Kirby said.

WATCH:

Tennessee GOP Senator Bill Hagerty said he has directed his office to look into the matter and offer assistance.

In a staggering display of far-left gaslighting and total lack of accountability, New Jersey Democrat Governor Mikie Sherrill is facing intense heat after serious voter roll irregularities, including thousands of non-citizens improperly registered to vote, came to light in the Garden State.

Instead of taking responsibility for the catastrophic failure inside her state’s government, Sherrill did what Democrats always do when caught flat-footed: she lashed out at President Donald Trump and even dragged Russian President Vladimir Putin.

You cannot make this up.

“We moved very quickly because the people of New Jersey obviously deserve accountability and transparency,” Sherrill told reporters during her press conference on the new legislation cracking down on surveillance pricing.

“We’re running an independent investigation right now to get to the bottom of exactly how this happened and what’s going on.”

Sherrill then pivoted immediately to attacking the Trump administration for demanding answers about the noncitizens who were placed on her state’s voter rolls.

“But, you know, it is not a surprise to me that the federal government—the Trump administration—wants to immediately weaponize this against people, as opposed to focusing on making sure that we’re running free and fair elections,” she said.

Apparently, investigating how thousands of noncitizens were registered and how hundreds of them reportedly voted is now considered “weaponization” by New Jersey Democrats.

Sherrill then made the outrageous claim that President Trump has done more to undermine American elections than Vladimir Putin.

“I would say again that Trump has done more to undermine our election system than anyone in my lifetime, including Vladimir Putin,” Sherrill claimed.

“He has attacked the 2020 election, which he ran. He has also sent out an insurrection against us when we were trying to certify that election. He then has defunded all of the ways in which we protect and keep our elections safe,” she continued.

“So, contrary to what he’s doing here in New Jersey, we are focused on running fair elections and getting to the bottom of what took place.”

WATCH:

New Jersey officials previously acknowledged that a massive failure in the state’s Motor Vehicle Commission system resulted in roughly 6,600 people who identified themselves as noncitizens being placed on voter rolls between June 2023 and June 2024.

Sherrill initially blamed a “serious software error” and pointed the finger at IDEMIA, the contractor responsible for transmitting voter-registration information from the Motor Vehicle Commission.

However, as The Gateway Pundit previously reported, IDEMIA fired back and said New Jersey’s own Division of Elections was ultimately responsible for reviewing the applications and determining voter eligibility.

“Information submitted by IDEMIA must still be validated and adjudicated by the Division of Elections,” the company said.

In other words, the information identifying these applicants as noncitizens was available, yet thousands were still registered.

The Department of Justice has requested the names, dates of birth, nationalities, addresses, registration information, and voting histories of the noncitizens involved. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon also announced that the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division was investigating the matter.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt blasted Sherrill over the scandal, saying the governor’s sudden admission was “not a coincidence” and warning that the actual number of noncitizens on the voter rolls may be substantially higher.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Leavitt said:

“She says it’s 6,600. We suspect it’s a heck of a lot more, not just in New Jersey but in states across the country.”

President Trump has cited the New Jersey scandal while calling on congressional Republicans to pass the SAVE America Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections.

Instead of welcoming federal assistance, releasing the records, cleaning up the voter rolls, and holding the responsible officials accountable, Sherrill is attacking Trump and shouting about Putin.

This is the Democrat playbook: When caught presiding over a massive government failure, blame Donald Trump.

ICE officers arrested a Southwest Airlines flight attendant who is a Jamaican illegal alien while he was on the job.

Lorenzo “Enzo” Thompson was taken into custody by New Orleans Enforcement and Removal Operations officers at Nashville International Airport on July 14.

According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, citing the Department of Homeland Security, Thompson is a Jamaican national who entered the United States lawfully on April 17, 2021, at the Miami Port of Entry on a visa that authorized him to stay only six months. That authorization expired on October 16, 2021. He never left.

For nearly five years Thompson remained in the country illegally, secured employment as a Southwest Airlines flight attendant, and continued working in a position that places him in the cabin with American passengers until ICE finally caught up with him.

Thompson’s union, TWU Local 556, which represents more than 21,000 Southwest flight attendants, immediately circled the wagons.

In a statement, the union said it was in contact with his family and legal counsel and vowed to stand with “our members.”

“TWU Local 556 has been made aware that one of our Members was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while at work.

Our priority is, and always will be, standing with and supporting our Members. Every Member deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and we are committed to ensuring this Member and their family know they are not alone during this difficult time.

TWU Local 556 has been in communication with the Member’s family. We are also working with the attorney retained by the Member, as well as TWU Local 556’s legal counsel, to understand the circumstances and provide appropriate support.

Many Members have inquired about how to help. We understand family and friends have set up a fund to assist with legal expenses, and it is being shared publicly on social media by other Members.

TWU Local 556 will continue to monitor the situation closely and remain engaged as we learn more. We appreciate our Members’ concern and support, as we all hope for a swift resolution to this situation.”

Left-wing advocacy groups and the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement quickly launched a GoFundMe, claiming Thompson has no criminal record, holds a “valid work visa,” and was “following every legal step toward citizenship.”

DHS records tell a different story: visa overstay, illegal presence for five years.

“TWU Local 556 member Lorenzo “Enzo” Thompson was detained by ICE on July 14, despite having no criminal record. Enzo was following every legal step toward citizenship. He had a valid work visa and was a dedicated flight attendant, touching countless lives with his kindness.

Today, we stand with our brother Enzo and his union family. Together, we reaffirm our commitment to standing by workers and their families through every challenge.

Every contribution makes a difference. Please support Lorenzo’s legal defense fund to help him obtain the legal representation he needs and continue the fight for his release.”

Fresh Attacks on Tankers: The Houthis’ Path Into Iran’s War

Fresh Attacks on Tankers: The Houthis’ Path Into Iran’s War
July 23, 2026

On July 22, 2026, Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis claimed responsibility for an attack on two Saudi oil tankers, the Encelia and Layla, transiting the Red Sea. The group said the vessels had violated a blockade it declared against Saudi Arabia on July 20.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the tankers were targeted for violating the blockade imposed by the group’s armed forces. The attack marked the Houthis’ first strike on commercial shipping in recent months, opening a new front in the U.S.-Iran war.

The blockade followed the Yemeni government’s bombing of the Houthi-controlled Sanaa airport to prevent an Iranian aircraft from landing. The incident was part of some of the worst violence Yemen has seen in four years.

The Houthis initially remained on the sidelines after the U.S.-Israeli campaign against Iran began with the opening strikes on February 28, 2026, which killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Hezbollah and several Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces militias joined the fighting within two days by striking Israel and U.S. bases. The Houthis held back longer, a delay analysts attributed to a calculated decision made in coordination with Tehran rather than reluctance to fight.

That changed on March 28, when the Houthis resumed attacks on Israel that had been paused since the October 2025 Gaza ceasefire. They launched ballistic missiles and formally joined the war. Military spokesman Yahya Saree announced the strikes on Al Masirah, saying they would continue “until the aggression against all fronts of the resistance ceases.” Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said his group stood with Iran and was ready to act “whenever developments require it.”

Al Jazeera’s analysis at the time described the relationship as one of coordination rather than pure subordination. It said the Houthis were trying to avoid a broad confrontation that could drain their resources and manpower inside Yemen. The same Stimson report noted that Israel had already eliminated much of the Houthi leadership, including the group’s chief of staff, in strikes in August 2025. As a result, Iran had to weigh the benefits of Houthi involvement against the risk of further decapitating an ally, as had already occurred with the IRGC and Hezbollah leadership.

The blockade traces to a July 13 escalation at Sanaa airport. An Iranian Mahan Air flight sought to carry a Houthi delegation home from Tehran after attending Khamenei’s funeral. Yemen’s internationally recognized government said it rejected Iran’s request for the flight, accused the Houthis of trying to bring the aircraft in without authorization, and struck the runway to block the landing. The plane diverted to Hodeidah.

Yemen’s Defense Minister, Gen. Taher al-Aqili, said the strike was meant to stop the delegation’s return, adding that Yemeni patience had run out. A Critical Threats Project analysis found that the Houthis imposed the blockade on July 20 only after it served their own objectives against Saudi Arabia. A separate analyst told The Hill that “Iran is not a bystander” in the episode because Tehran had facilitated the delegation’s flight.

The Houthis retaliated the same day with a missile and drone strike on Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia. The Washington Post called it the sharpest such escalation in years, though it reported no casualties. Saree, speaking on Al Masirah, warned airlines to avoid Saudi airspace “until the siege on Sanaa airport is lifted.” He also declared the de-escalation phase of Yemen’s war over.

Houthi Political Bureau member Mohammed al-Bukhaiti said the strikes on Sanaa “will not pass without response and punishment.” The Saudi-led coalition said only that it had intercepted a ballistic missile threat aimed at the kingdom’s southern region, without confirming the original Sanaa strike. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei called the Sanaa strike a “clear violation of international law and the UN Charter.”

Tehran resumed its own blockade of Iranian ports on July 14, and CENTCOM said it had begun redirecting and disabling non-compliant commercial vessels as Brent crude climbed toward $100 a barrel amid the standstill in the Strait of Hormuz.

That same weekend, Jordan’s military intercepted three missiles fired from Iran, and Iranian strikes killed two U.S. soldiers stationed in Jordan.

The broader collapse driving this escalation traces to a memorandum of understanding the U.S. and Iran signed on June 17, 2026, which triggered a 60-day negotiation window and called for renewed U.S. strikes if Iran violated its terms. That framework broke down after Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz on July 6-7 for not sticking to a route Iran had unilaterally approved, prompting dozens of U.S. strikes inside Iran.

President Trump said afterward that he considers the MoU with Iran “over,” and Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said Tehran has likewise suspended all its own commitments under the deal. As of July 22-23, the US military carries out strikes on Iran even as Tehran continues to threaten and attack shipping in the Strait, to coerce commercial vessels into following its preferred routes and fee structure.

Reuters reported on July 23, that Iran flew Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders and missile-related equipment into Houthi-held Yemen on July 13, about a week before the blockade declaration, to help bolster the group’s ability to threaten Red Sea shipping.

President Trump warned that the U.S. would hold Iran responsible for any further Houthi attacks on Saudi vessels, calling the group Iran’s “Surrogate and/or Proxy” and threatening “major military punishment” against both. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the same day that the Houthis had largely stayed out of the broader conflict until now, but “got snookered” by Iran into targeting Saudi Arabia.

MI COUNTY CLERK DROPS BOMBSHELL: 1,062 NON-Citizens Found in Jury Pool List – 40 Are Registered to Vote In ONE County!
July 23, 2026

Macomb County Clerk Anthony G. Forlini is once again exposing a serious and ongoing problem in Michigan’s election system under Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

From January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, Forlini’s office identified more than 1,000 prospective jurors who self-reported that they are not U.S. citizens. Of those individuals, 40 were found registered to vote in Macomb County’s Qualified Voter File.

Five of them even have a voting history.

This chart was provided in a press release by Macomb County Clerk Anthony Forlini.

The Clerk’s Office referred these findings to the Michigan Bureau of Elections on January 13, April 28, and July 10, 2026.

In January 2026, The Gateway Pundit reported that Forlini had identified 239 non-citizens in the jury pool over just four months. Of those, 14 had been registered to vote at some point, and several appeared to have voting histories — including one who voted multiple times.

“It is unconscionable that this problem continues,” Forlini said. “To provide greater transparency, our office posts a running tally of these findings on our website so the public can stay informed and lawmakers can better understand the scope of the issue as they consider reforms.”

Under Michigan law, only U.S. citizens are eligible to vote or serve on a jury. Yet non-citizens continue to receive jury summonses because the jury pool is generated from the Secretary of State’s driver’s license database, which includes non-citizens.

A defiant Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson refuses to remove NON-citizens from Michigan’s voter rolls. Why?

The jury pool is generated from the Secretary of State’s driver’s license database, which includes individuals who are not U.S. citizens,” Forlini said. “Our staff spends a considerable amount of time verifying the citizenship status of those who self-report. Cross-checking those records against the Qualified Voter File helps identify potential registration issues that should be reviewed. Michigan residents deserve confidence that only eligible citizens are participating in our elections and jury system.”

Forlini also voiced support for the Department of Justice’s review of Michigan’s voter rolls.

Harmeet Dhillon V. Jocelyn Benson

“I support the Department of Justice’s review because the integrity of our elections deserves a thorough examination whenever credible concerns are identified,” he said. “Our office documented instances where individuals who identified themselves as non-U.S. citizens also appeared in the Qualified Voter File, and we referred those findings to the Michigan Bureau of Elections. Following the facts and correcting any weaknesses strengthens public confidence in our elections.”

Despite repeated referrals from Forlini’s office, the problem persists under Michigan’s dirty Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson. Michigan residents are left wondering how many more non-citizens remain on the state’s voter rolls — and how many have already cast illegal ballots.

Anthony Forlini is the Republican candidate for Michigan Secretary of State. Should he trust Jocelyn Benson to run a free and fair election given her history of cheating? Should he be concerned about his fate as Michigan’s next secretary of state that lies in the hands of Jocelyn Benson, who is overseeing both his and her own election in November 2026?

The same Michigan Secretary of State who is blocking the US Department of Justice’s demand that she turn over Michigan’s voter rolls to ensure no non-citizens are registered to vote is also running for governor in the upcoming election she’s overseeing.

Nothing to see here…
