A normalization of bilateral relations between the superpowers is what Globalists fear the most.

Here’s how it stands right now: Russia supplies Iran with weapons and targeting intel to help their recent strikes on US bases – or so Washington says.

But there’s also this: the US sells Ukraine weapons and supplies targeting intel to help their deep strikes on Russian infrastructure – or so Moscow says.

When you look at it like that, the détente process between the US and Russia doesn’t seem too promising – but it is a priority for both governments, so diplomats are plowing along.

Today (23), US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Russian ‌Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) gathering in the Philippines.

Rubio stressed that the US ‘remains prepared’ to play a ‘constructive role’ in ending to the war in Ukraine.

The New York Post reported:

“Speaking after the meeting, Rubio said President Donald Trump had made clear that the United States was ​prepared to help facilitate an end to a ‘senseless war’ if the ​opportunity arose.

[…] ‘We had a good conversation, a ​frank conversation’, Rubio said of his meeting with his Russian counterpart. He said ​he would not go into specifics about what was discussed.

‘The United States, the president’s been clear that … we are prepared to play a constructive role in bringing about an ​end to a senseless war, and we’re ready to do that’, Rubio ​said.”

While Lavrov restated ‘Russia’s readiness for a political and diplomatic settlement’, he kept on the Moscow line of adhering to the proposals advanced by Presidents Donald J. Trump and Vladimir Putin during their 2025 meeting in Alaska.

But Rubio does not seem to agree.

You can’t have a peace deal unless both sides agree to it. And the Ukrainians would not agree to it. And so that’s why that effort didn’t work.

It’s a hard path to peace in the Ukraine – and it’s an even harder one to renewed diplomatic and commercial ties between the superpowers.

But it’s a pass we must tread on.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro Challenges Presidential Election – Sues in Colombian Court to Annul Results

On August 7, Abelardo de la Espriella is set to be sworn in as the Colombian president in a process known as “empalme,” however, not without a challenge.

Outgoing president Gustavo Petro, who was not on the ballot and is termed-limited, has challenged the June runoff victory in the Colombian courts following the suspension of “empalme” by de la Espriella earlier this month, according to the AP.

On July 17, Petro sued in Colombia’s Council of State, sitting as its Administrative Litigation Chamber’s Fifth Section.  According to the filing, after translation into English, Petro is arguing that election authorities significantly reduced transparency and technical safeguards that were previously used to authenticate and verify official election documents.

Polling station documents, E-14s, no longer include key metadata, timestamps, document identifiers, and other digital features that allow independent verification.  Petro has asked the court to compel the production of records to include logs, hash values, version histories, protocols, and other system documentation, in order to determine whether the changes were properly authorized and whether they impaired the verifiability of the election.

Petro seeks the invalidation of the official results, or, alternatively, he is calling for a new canvass or judicial audit, a forensic inspection of the election systems, production of technical evidence, and targeted recounts and corrections where the court finds the results cannot be independently verified.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported last month that, immediately following the runoff election, Petro began to call into question the results on social media.

In one of many posts from June, Petro claims that “177,000 votes in favor of Abelardo” came from overseas voters, “especially in the US.”

More recently, President Petro took to X to claim that “they” took down pages where he had posted evidence of “algorithmic electoral fraud carried out in the US.”

In a translated video posted in June, he claimed that “the Bautista brothers’ software, as of the 2018 Council of State ruling stated – is vulnerable to internal and external actions against the vote.”  The video purports to show hash files being altered.  Here is the original video with English subtitles:

Last week, the State Department released a statement by the members of the Shield of the Americas.  In it, they reinforce support for the Colombian election, stating:

We observe with deep concern the recent statements and actions that, without duly substantiated grounds, cast doubt on the integrity of the electoral process in the Republic of Colombia and generate uncertainty regarding the normal course of the institutional transition.

In every constitutional democracy, the sovereign will of the citizens — freely expressed at the ballot box and formalized by the competent electoral authorities — constitutes the sole foundation of the legitimacy of public power.  Disregarding the results officially proclaimed by said authorities constitutes a serious disregard for the popular will and for the principles that underpin the Rule of Law.

We reject any action, statement, or decision that seeks to delegitimize the mandate conferred by the citizens, to discredit without basis the competent electoral authorities, or to obstruct the institutional transition, known in Colombia as the empalme process.  The transition between governments does not constitute a political concession, but rather a constitutional and institutional duty designed to guarantee the continuity of the State, democratic stability, and the effective fulfillment of the popular will.

We issue a firm call to all Colombian authorities to act in strict adherence to the Constitution, the law, and democratic principles; to respect the results officially proclaimed by the competent electoral authorities; and to guarantee a peaceful, orderly, and transparent transition, in accordance with the highest standards of the Rule of Law.

The radical left must hate her.

Sophie Cunningham received much attention last year when she stood up for her fellow basketball star, Caitlin Clark, and went after the girl who assaulted Clark in a game.  Cunningham was referred to as Clark’s bodyguard.

Caitlin Clark was harassed and attacked, and then, on one key play, Clark was poked in the eye by Connecticut Sun player Jacy Sheldon. Then, Clark was bumped into and punched in the back by another player, while another player from the Sun knocked Clark down to the floor. The Sun players were not kicked out, and Clark and a Sun player were charged with technicals.

The refs in the WNBA are the worst!

This view is much worse.  Clark was assaulted (again).

Then, with 47 seconds left on the clock, Clark’s teammate Sophie Cunningham got slammed into by Jacy Sheldon and was having none of it. Cunningham slammed Sheldon to the floor, and all hell broke loose. Cunningham, Sheldon, and another Sun player were kicked out of the game. BTW – Cunningham reportedly has a black belt.

The whole time that Cunningham held Sheldon, she was talking.

By the way, now Cunningham is a name every WNBA fan knows…

During the off-season, Cunningham attended a golf outing with Clark.  Clark was joined by her good friends and Indianapolis teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull as guest caddies.  Cunningham took a shot, and it was memorable.

Clark yelled “Man Down” after Cunningham reportedly hit the man with her drive.  It was hilarious as the injury was not severe.  Another man, seeing Cunningham running his way, fell to the ground as well.

Earlier this year, Cunningham went viral for pointing out a competitor.

This past week, Cunningham made the news again by speaking out against men in women’s sports.

What a beautiful and courageous girl Sophie Cunningham is.

Did you see President Trump’s nationally-televised address to the nation last Thursday?

You know- the one where President Trump exposed proof of massive election fraud, stolen elections, and foreign interference in our elections by China.

Oh right, you probably didn’t see it.

Because the liberal mainstream media refused to televise it. Yes, I said refused. ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN all said “NO” to the President of the United States. First they said “YES.” Then they found out it was about laying out proof of rigged and stolen elections. So, then they reversed their decision. They blackballed Trump’s address, so few could watch it.

This reminds me of the story of a professor in a college classroom. He’s tired of bad students cheating on his exams and getting A’s they don’t deserve. So, he announces to the class he has installed a new system that will prevent cheating.

He announces, “No one will ever be able to cheat again. My new system is foolproof.”

The response from the students in his classroom? One third of the students are outraged. They are screaming and cursing at the professor. They are breaking windows, throwing chairs and desks. Then they walk out of his classroom and announce they are never coming back.

What does this all tell you? It’s pretty simple. It’s pretty obvious- if you have a brain and commonsense…

The one-third of the students who are angry, hysterical, panicking, and rioting are the ones doing the cheating.

Why on earth would anyone be upset at honest and fair exams that prevent cheating, and preserve integrity- unless they’re the ones doing the cheating?

The cheaters have just been exposed.

That’s exactly what we just saw in response to President Trump’s address to the nation. Democrats across the country, and on social media, reacted with anger, and panic, and hysteria.

And more importantly, their PR partners in the mainstream media reacted to the President’s address by refusing to even allow the American people to see it. That’s “the tell” (as we say in poker).

No one would react like that, unless they’re the ones doing the cheating.

No one would object to fair and honest elections- free of fraud. Unless they’re the ones doing the cheating.

No one would object to allowing a President to expose the proof of cheating and foreign interference by our enemy, China, unless they’re the ones in conspiracy with China.

No one would object to simple ideas like Voter ID and proof of citizenship, unless they’re the ones using mail-in ballots with no Voter ID, and no proof of citizenship, to cheat and steal elections.

We caught them. The Democrats rigged and stole 2020, and many other elections too. And their partners in the media covered up the truth. They’re all in it together.

They’re not content with just mocking President Trump’s words. Or denying there is proof of stolen elections. They’re so scared and desperate, they don’t even want you to see or hear Trump’s speech.

They’ve decided to censor and silence the President of the United States.

The mainstream media made a conscious decision to hide a major Presidential address from the American people.

President Trump’s address was obviously very important to the nation, but the reaction by hysterical Democrats and the liberal mainstream media is “the tell.” They gave away the storyline. That reaction is…

STORY OF THE CENTURY.

They are scared to death that President Trump has “the goods” to prove 2020 was stolen…and many other House and Senate seats have been stolen…and there are foreign countries involved…and China has stolen the personal data of 200+ million voter…and China was behind the BLM riots in 2020 to create a crisis and influence the election…

The media clearly doesn’t want you to know any of that.

But it goes deeper than that. The media was not only a major player in this conspiracy to steal elections…and they led the cover-up after the fact…the propaganda and gaslighting…but worse, this means they’re guilty of making your vote meaningless. They violated your civil rights. They stole your voice.

And the media is scared to death if you find out, there will be a revolution in this country…

They will go to prison for fraud and TREASON…

No one will ever again trust what the media says.

And maybe, just maybe, the people they see as “peasants with pitchforks” will burn down their newsrooms.

Or certainly, at the very least, their ratings will go to 0.

The media has to cover up the proof. They have to cover up their involvement in this massive scam to rig elections. They’re in too deep. If the truth gets out, “the jig is up.”

And that’s precisely why President Trump needs to declare a National Security Emergency for Elections ASAP.

Because there is no other way to stop them.

Because they’re going to do it again for the midterms.

Because the bribed and cowardly RINOS in the US Senate will never allow the SAVE Act to pass.

Because even if the SAVE America Act, by some miracle, passes, it will be instantly challenged in court, and therefore never be in place for the midterms.

Because even if it was by some miracle in place for the midterms, it does nothing to stop machine vote hacking and fraud. We need to go back to paper ballots.

A National Security Emergency mandates all of that…and more. It’s the SAVE Act on steroids. And it cannot be challenged in court. It can only be overturned by a 2/3rds vote of both houses of Congress.

This is the solution we’ve been looking for.

The only solution that will prevent mass widespread cheating for the midterms.

So, forget the SAVE Act (at least for now). It’s not passing the US Senate.

There is no other choice to protect our votes…our voices…our freedom…our borders…our country…

The media just gave away the plot. There is only one solution at this late date…

President Trump must declare a…

NATIONAL SECURITY EMERGENCY FOR ELECTIONS.

Nigeria: At Least 12 Members of Christian Community Killed in Fulani Attacks Over Three Days

A Christian community leader who appealed for peace with Fulani Islamist herdsmen on July 21, 2026, was killed the following day in an attack by the same militant group. Two youths returning from an artisanal mining site were shot dead in the same attack, days after nine other members of the community had already been killed in a separate assault.

The killings are the latest in a wave of violence that has left Barkin Ladi Local Government Area in Plateau State among the hardest-hit parts of Nigeria’s Middle Belt this year.

The majority of Christians in Barkin Ladi and surrounding parts of Plateau State are farmers, but sustained attacks have displaced many from their land. Repeated attacks on people working in the fields have left many with no land left to farm. As a result of the ongoing violence, nationwide, more than 4 million people have been displaced, the majority of them Christian farmers.

Some communities have given up on farming altogether. Others cultivate only smaller plots close to their settlements rather than more exposed, fertile land farther away. A few communities have even abandoned tall crops such as maize because they fear the plants could conceal Fulani terrorists as they approach a village.

As a result, many have turned to artisanal mining to support their families. However, the mining sector is largely controlled by armed groups, who extort Christian miners for the right to work the sites or kill them as they return from the mines in the evening.

Boss Pam Fom, community chairman of Urwababuje Community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Plateau State, said the attack began around 12:30 p.m., when local youths went out for artisanal mining just past a nearby river.

On their way back, they were ambushed by armed Fulani militants who had come to water cattle at the river and had concealed armed men among the animals. Two youths returning on a motorcycle were blocked on the road; when they tried to turn back, they were shot and killed at close range.

Fom said another group of youths mining nearby was accompanied by an army officer who “didn’t respond, intervene, or fire his rifle” during the shooting. Instead, the officer moved victims toward town and made a phone call. It was the youth leader, Fom said, who alerted security agents, who then arrived at the scene.

The militants attempted to move on the remaining youths at the mining site but the youths fled; the attackers then drove their cattle back toward their camp at the base of nearby hills.

The incident is the latest in a pattern of near-daily violence across Plateau State, where a coalition of indigenous youth groups reported at least 50 people killed and hundreds displaced in a single week in mid-July 2026 alone, including a December 2025 mining-site killing in Tosho, Barkin Ladi, that left 12 dead.

Fom called on security agencies to “live up to their responsibilities,” saying his account of a soldier standing by during the shooting echoes a broader pattern of complaints against the military task force responsible for the area. Operation Enduring Peace, a joint military operation covering Plateau and neighboring states, was launched in 2025 as a rebrand of the longer-running Operation Safe Haven, which had patrolled the region since 2010.

Despite that presence, residents have repeatedly described soldiers failing to respond during attacks, even when stationed nearby.

In one case in Mangu Local Government Area, a youth leader said residents ran to a nearby military checkpoint as gunmen attacked their village. They pleaded with roughly ten soldiers stationed there to intervene but were told it was not their line of duty.

In April, residents in the Gashish district of Barkin Ladi similarly accused security personnel of routinely failing to respond to distress calls during attacks. They said the troops arrived only after the violence had ended to make arrests. The frustration led residents to destroy a military checkpoint in protest.

The Berom Youth Moulders-Association has also issued a vote of no confidence in Operation Enduring Peace personnel, accusing them of negligence.

Fom noted that the militants in question have grazed in the area for a long time without prior confrontation. He said his community has never fought with or provoked them. Despite this, he said, the militants continue to destroy farmland.

Fom added that his community, already displaced once by herdsmen from its original village, has been followed to its current location. He said the attacks have cut off access to both farming and mining, the community’s main sources of livelihood.

His account of ongoing conflict over mining and grazing land comes months after Governor Caleb Mutfwang, following a wave of attacks in the same LGA, banned night mining statewide and prohibited both night grazing and grazing by underage herders. The measures reflected the government’s acknowledgment that mining sites and grazing routes have become flashpoints.

He identified an area called Blaborak, just across from the community, as a staging ground the militants use to plan attacks. He appealed for government surveillance of the site so that both grazing and farming could proceed without conflict.

Fom stressed that his community has never denied herdsmen the right to earn a living or interfered with grazing. He added that nine community members had been killed shortly before this latest incident, and that the community had “not finished mourning” those deaths.

He said the community wants peaceful coexistence but warned that separation may be the only option if the killings continue. “If push comes to shove, the only option will be death,” he said.

Fom added that the people of Plateau are peace-loving and that their parents had always counseled against revenge attacks or responding to provocation. He said the security response time has been fair, but that more must be done to stop the killings and allow residents to pursue their livelihoods safely.

The killing comes amid renewed federal attention to Plateau’s security crisis. In April 2026, Governor Mutfwang led a state delegation to meet President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa to seek federal intervention. The meeting produced a peace and security report recommending measures extending beyond military deployment, including assistance for displaced persons and livelihood restoration.

Plateau’s chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria has also said it is a shame that a state historically known for peace continues to experience unchecked violence.
