The Department of Justice has opened an investigation into major TV networks in the White House press pool over potential violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act, which prohibits anticompetitive business practices and monopolization.

The White House Correspondents’ Association has long come under fire for holding a monopoly on White House coverage, a point originally made by OAN’s Chanel Rion during the first Trump Administration.

CNN has been replaced by Real America’s Voice in the White House television pool several times during high-profile events and Trump’s trips on Air Force One since last month.

Trump has blocked CNN from accessing Air Force One several times since attempting to ban CNN, MS Now, and Politico from accessing the White House.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly granted a temporary restraining order reinstating their access to the White House grounds after the three outlets sued.

In the ongoing lawsuit, the outlets are now asking U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly for a preliminary injunction to extend their access to the White House until the case is resolved, as well as seeking restoration of their access to the President on Air Force One. On Thursday, Kelly temporarily extended his TRO until Tuesday, when he plans to make a final determination.

Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN initially banded together to boycott coverage of the President. They later decided to resume coverage, but only if one of the major networks was slated to provide a television pool feed. They have continued their refusal to cover the President when Real America's Voice is in the Pool instead of a mainstream media network.

The boycotts may have violated the Sherman Act, the Department of Justice said. The act prohibits businesses from conspiring with others to monopolize trade or commerce.

"Members of the television press pool have proudly boycotted covering White House events. Group boycotts among commercial competitors can violate the Sherman Act," a DOJ spokeswoman said in a statement.

“The Antitrust Division is simply investigating to determine whether these news organizations have violated the antitrust laws.”

Per the New York Times:

Officials from the Justice Department contacted networks on Friday and demanded communications and materials related to the White House TV pool, the people said. The pool is a longstanding system where the networks share the responsibility of providing footage of the president and distributing it to other news outlets.

Last month, the networks collectively suspended their pool footage of Mr. Trump for several days after the president barred CNN journalists from the White House grounds, which prevented CNN from participating in the pool.

The inquiry by the Justice Department is a profound escalation of the Trump administration’s ongoing battles with the White House press corps. It also follows a pattern of the Trump administration using the levers of government against its perceived foes in the media. The Justice Department has subpoenaed reporters from The New York Times and seized a laptop from a Washington Post journalist.

Kid Rock joined President Trump for a midterm rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, on Saturday.

President Trump held a midterm rally at the F&M Bank Arena for Senator Bill Hagerty, who is running for reelection, and Senator Marsha Blackburn, who is running for governor.

Kid Rock opened the rally by praising President Trump and slamming the rise of Islam and creeping Sharia.

“Literally, President Trump could walk across the Cumberland River, and tomorrow the headline would say President Trump refuses to swim,” Kid Rock said.

Kid Rock then slammed Islam as a cult.

“I oppose Islamist extremists whose end goal is to impose Sharia Law on this nation!” Kid Rock said.

The crowd erupted into chants of “USA! USA! USA!”

“No religious cult or ideology gets to override our Constitution,” he said.

“You will never have the right to force any American citizen to live under it. I guarantee you that!”

“We are not, and we never will be, ‘One Nation Under Mohammed’ — because we are – and we always will be – One Nation Under God!” he said.

President Trump revealed his next quest to change the name of a landmark by claiming one of the five oceans as American.

Trump said during a rally on Saturday in Clarksville, Tennessee, that he wants to change the name of the Atlantic or the Pacific Ocean to “Trump Ocean or Ocean of the Americas,” and the name of the Strait of Hormuz between the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman to the “Trump Strait.”

He also said that he wants a river, but left the Hudson River in New York off the table. “That’s too much. Henry Hudson, he did a good job sailing up that sucker a long time ago,” he said.

“We’re taking out more barrels of oil right now from the Hormuz Strait — we’re thinking about renaming it to the Trump Strait,” Trump said, causing the crowd to go wild with cheers.

“Well, I’m not going to do it; I wouldn’t want to do it. I’ll get Bill Hagerty and Marsha [Blackburn], she’ll come in from the governorship to do it. No, we’re thinking about doing it,” he added, noting that he already changed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and Lake Ontario to Lake America.

“We had the Gulf of Mexico, and I said one day — and everyone thinks I kid. I said one day, you know, I think we should name it the Gulf of America, right? And everybody smiled. ‘Oh, that’s so funny!’ I did it, right? It’s done,” he said.

“And look at Lake Ontario. Canada has been ripping us off for 50 years, charging us massive tariffs. Everyone says, like, ‘Oh, Canada’s so nice.’ They treat us terribly. They really treated us terribly. They’re not treating us terribly anymore. But I decided that Lake Ontario should be renamed to Lake America. So we’ve got the Gulf, we’ve got a beautiful lake.”

But we don’t have a river or an ocean, Trump pointed out.

“So we need a river, and we need an ocean,” he said.

“So I was thinking of either the Atlantic or the Pacific. We call it Trump Ocean, or Ocean of the Americas, something like that.”

Trump previously floated the idea on August 27, when he signed an executive order renaming Lake Ontario.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent torched Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren in response to her persistent requests for information about the Trump Administration’s monetary policies.

Elizabeth Warren has sent more than 100 letters to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent demanding information.

In her latest letter dated October 10, Elizabeth Warren accused Bessent of increasing costs: “The surge in Treasury yields is self-inflicted and follows the Fed’s decision to raise the federal funds rate by a quarter of a percentage point, driven by concerns about inflation.”

Of course, Elizabeth Warren never said a word about inflation during the Biden years.

Bessent hit back at Elizabeth Warren: “As the federal funds rate climbed from near zero to its highest level in 22 years, with inflation hitting a 40-year high, you were a cheerleader for the Biden Administration’s reckless spending.”

Secretary Bessent savaged Elizabeth Warren at the conclusion of his letter.

“Finally, my offer of a Foreign Exchange for Dummies tutorial still, and if you receive a passing grade to the Yale metric, not the Harvard curve, I would be happy to also include a Fixed Income for Dummies.”

In 2018, Senator Warren released a DNA study where she claims she is 1/512th 1/1024th Native American.

The Boston Globe later issued a correction to their initial report — The DNA test revealed that Elizabeth Warren is not 1/512 Native American, she’s 1/1,024. That’s 0.0009765625.

Warren actually has less Indian in her bloodline than most Caucasian Americans.

President Trump is calling BS on Texas Democratic Senate Nominee James Talarico’s story for why he hid from Texas voters for two weeks after ditching Texas and heading to the Empire State to raise money with Mamdani’s people and the gay Human Rights Campaign. 

On September 28, Talarico appeared at a fundraiser with TDS-infected actor Robert DeNiro and allies of NYC Mayor Zohran Mandani in New York. He was also raising money from the gay Human Rights Campaign in New York.

Two days later, on September 30, Talarico appeared virtually at a United States Hispanic Business Council forum, where he claimed he had a so-called flu diagnosis while broadcasting from a hotel room– somewhere.

“I was starting to feel kind of under the weather a few days ago, and last night it got so bad that I went to the urgent care here in Dallas,” he said, though he didn’t look like he was sick — surely not enough for urgent care.

“And I was diagnosed with the flu, and so uh I’m running a fever, and I’m my most contagious uh right now.”

Nearly two weeks later, he was still missing — until yesterday.

Trump was trolling Talarico for wearing a mask still during his rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, on Saturday, and he blasted him for disappearing with a fake flu.

“You know this guy, Talafreako, still wears the mask, and he had the longest flu ever recorded. He was away for like almost 14 days. He was missing in action,” Trump said.

“I don’t think it was the flu. Either that or it was a new strain of flu that keeps you out of commission for weeks.”

“But no, Talafreako, he was wearing a mask. Here’s a guy running in Texas against a very good guy, the greatest Attorney General that this country has seen in many, many years, actually. And Talafreako, a couple of months ago, was wearing a mask,” he continued.

“Look, anybody that’s wearing a mask, let’s say three months ago, you don’t want him to be in Texas, and you don’t want him to be in Tennessee.”

He explained that the Democrats will cheat to steal the midterm election.
