A former employee of the Democrat-run Pulaski County clerk’s office in Arkansas walked out of court this week with no prison time after pleading no contest to a Class D felony for illegally altering election records.

Circuit Judge Karen Whatley on Tuesday approved a plea agreement giving 58-year-old Deborah Smith of North Little Rock a two-year suspended prison sentence and a $300 fine.

The Class D felony initially carried a maximum sentence of six years behind bars, according to Just the News.

In other words, an election worker deliberately manipulated more than 100 voter records, and walked out of court without spending a day in prison.

Smith worked in the clerk’s Voter Registration Department when the records were altered in October 2024.

The scheme affected 132 voters assigned to Precinct 051.02 in North Little Rock. Their precinct information was switched to Precinct 001.04 in Maumelle, meaning affected voters could receive ballots containing races from the wrong city while omitting contests in which they were legally entitled to vote.

The manipulation was discovered after early voting began on October 21, 2024, when a voter complained that a desired candidate was missing from the ballot.

Pulaski County Circuit and County Clerk Terri Hollingsworth acknowledged that an employee had changed the county’s electronic “street file.”

“We had a call that alerted us that a particular voter was not able to vote on a person that they wanted to vote for,” Hollingsworth previously told KATV.

By the time officials corrected the records, four of the affected voters had already cast incorrect ballots.

The Pulaski County Election Commission claimed those four ballots did not change the outcome of any race and moved forward with certifying the election.

But that does not erase the glaring security failure.

One employee was apparently capable of altering precinct information affecting 132 voters without another official stopping or approving the change.

Investigators later determined that Smith’s actions could not reasonably be dismissed as an innocent mistake. Altering the records reportedly required a deliberate 12-step process involving multiple computer screens, scrolling functions and a specialized device that produced a single-use security code.

System logs reportedly showed Smith using her personal username, password and identification number to change the precinct records. She clocked out just one minute later.

No motive has been publicly disclosed. Smith resigned after the suspicious changes were uncovered.

The Pulaski County Election Commission referred the case to the Arkansas attorney general’s Election Integrity Unit, the State Board of Election Commissioners and the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced Smith’s arrest in July 2025, saying investigators had determined that she “deliberately switched the voter registrations.”

Smith surrendered after authorities obtained a warrant charging her with one count of violating voter-eligibility laws.

Arkansas Secretary of State Cole Jester praised the prosecution at the time.

“In Arkansas, election security comes first. Intentional violations of election law should always be met with criminal charges,” Jester said, according to KATV.

Yet after all of that, the investigation, the arrest and the felony prosecution, the final punishment was a suspended sentence and a $300 fine.

The incident occurred inside an office headed by Hollingsworth, a longtime Democrat. Hollingsworth has not been accused of participating in Smith’s actions and her office reported the irregularity, corrected the records and sought additional security measures.

Still, the case exposes a shocking vulnerability inside the election system of Arkansas’ most populous county.

If a clerk’s employee can deliberately reassign 132 voters to the wrong precinct, what safeguards exist to prevent another insider from doing the same thing without being caught?

And what deterrent does a $300 fine provide?

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Arkansas officials were considering greater use of paper ballots as the state evaluated compliance with President Trump’s election-integrity order and its voter-verifiable ballot requirements.

This case involved voter-registration records rather than vote-counting machines, but the underlying lesson is the same: elections cannot be secure when critical systems can be manipulated by a single insider with inadequate oversight.

Americans are constantly lectured that concerns about election integrity are “conspiracy theories.”

Then cases like this happen. An election employee deliberately alters 132 voter records, four people cast the wrong ballots, and the punishment amounts to no immediate prison time and a fine smaller than many traffic tickets.

Gov. Wolf at Rally to End Gun Violence Urges Electeds: ‘Do Your Job. Protect Our Kids’” by Governor Tom Wolf, CC BY 2.0

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s administration is quietly attempting to erase women and mothers from the Commonwealth’s health code in the name of radical gender ideology.

Buried inside a sweeping 502-page regulatory proposal from the Pennsylvania Department of Health are multiple revisions that strike the words “woman” and “mother” and replace them with dehumanizing, gender-neutral terms such as “individual” and “postpartum individual.”

The changes were first uncovered by The Daily Wire. The proposed overhaul of 28 Pa. Code Chapter 27, which governs communicable and noncommunicable diseases, was published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin on August 8.

The Shapiro administration apparently believes the words “mother” and “woman” are now too offensive for Pennsylvania’s official health regulations.

You simply cannot make this up. Under the proposed changes:

  • “Pregnant woman” becomes “pregnant individual.”
  • “Mother of a newborn” becomes “postpartum individual.”
  • “Mother of stillborn” is replaced with “case of stillbirth,” while references to the mother are changed to “postpartum individual.”
  • A “mother’s medical record” becomes a “postpartum individual’s medical record.”
  • Language referring to medical professionals attending women during childbirth is rewritten to say they attend “individuals.”

The proposal even changes the health code’s definition of perinatal HIV exposure. The existing language referring to a “pregnant woman or mother of a newborn” would be replaced with “a pregnant or postpartum individual.”

In another section governing syphilis testing following a stillbirth, the word “mother” is repeatedly crossed out and replaced with “postpartum individual.”

This is not merely an effort to simplify outdated legal language. The proposal deliberately removes sex-specific terms from regulations dealing exclusively with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, biological realities unique to women.

Pennsylvania Republican State Senator Michele Brooks reportedly blasted the changes, pointing out that the Department of Health managed to inject radical gender language into hundreds of pages of new government mandates.

Women become pregnant. Mothers give birth. No amount of bureaucratic wordplay from the Shapiro administration can change those basic biological facts.

But this is what the radical left does. First, it demands that Americans accept absurd terminology. Then it embeds that terminology into government regulations, schools, hospitals, and official records. Finally, it treats anyone who refuses to participate in the fantasy as a bigot.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that New York Democrats passed legislation replacing “mother” and “father” with “gestating parent” and “non-gestating parent”.

Now Shapiro’s Pennsylvania is following the same disturbing playbook.

The proposed Pennsylvania regulations are not yet final. According to the Independent Regulatory Review Commission, the proposal was formally received on June 4, published on August 8, and remains open for public comment through September 21, 2026.

The broader proposal updates disease-reporting requirements and other public-health provisions. Yet somewhere inside that massive regulatory rewrite, Shapiro’s health officials decided it was necessary to scrub “woman” and “mother” from provisions specifically addressing pregnancy and childbirth.

That decision was ideological, not medical.

Mothers are not “postpartum individuals.” Pregnant women are not faceless “individuals.”

This is not inclusion. It is the deliberate erasure of women, motherhood, and biological reality by a Democrat administration captured by the most radical elements of the gender-identity movement.

ANGEL MOM FIGHTS BACK: Grieving Virginia Mom Leads Recall of Soros-Backed Prosecutor Steve Descano After Illegal Alien with 30+ Arrests Is Charged in Daughter’s Bus-Stop Murder
August 28, 2026

A grieving Virginia mother is taking the fight directly to Fairfax County’s soft-on-crime political machine after her only daughter was brutally stabbed to death at a bus stop.

Cheryl Minter is leading a campaign to recall Democrat Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano, arguing that his office repeatedly failed to hold her daughter’s accused killer accountable before the deadly February attack.

Stephanie Minter, a 41-year-old mother from Fredericksburg, was found suffering from multiple stab wounds inside a bus shelter near Richmond Highway and Arlington Drive on February 23.

Despite desperate lifesaving efforts, Stephanie was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fairfax County police identified Abdul Jalloh, a 32-year-old Sierra Leone national with no fixed address, as the last person seen with Stephanie after the two exited a bus. Jalloh was arrested the following day and subsequently charged with second-degree murder. He remains jailed without bond, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the Department of Homeland Security identified Jalloh as an illegal alien who entered the United States in 2012 and accumulated more than 30 arrests.

His criminal history reportedly includes charges involving rape, malicious wounding, assault, identity theft, drug possession, trespassing, and multiple alleged stabbings.

An immigration detainer was lodged against Jalloh in 2020, and an immigration judge reportedly ordered his removal to any country other than Sierra Leone.

Yet he remained in the United States and on the streets.

According to FOX 5 DC, prosecutors dropped many of the cases against Jalloh. In 2023, a malicious-wounding charge was dropped after prosecutors said they could not secure the victim’s participation. Less than a month later, an aggravated-malicious-wounding charge was reduced, and Jalloh ultimately served seven months of a two-year sentence.

Not all of Jalloh’s previous cases occurred under Descano. A 2018 forcible-rape charge, for example, was dropped under Descano’s predecessor. Descano’s office has also said it convicted Jalloh in a separate 2023 malicious-wounding case and later sought to have him detained and his probation revoked.

But 7News reported that Fairfax County police warned Descano’s office in writing at least three times that Jalloh could eventually kill someone.

Now Stephanie is dead, and her mother is demanding accountability.

“Thirty times the system had a chance to stop him. Thirty times,” Cheryl told Fox News Digital.

“This was not an unavoidable tragedy,” she added. “It was the predictable consequence of decisions made by Descano.”

Cheryl’s recall campaign has already collected more than 12,000 signatures and is working toward approximately 30,000. The public petition supporting the effort to recall Descano can be found here.

Under Virginia law, organizers must collect valid signatures from registered voters equal to 10 percent of the votes cast in the previous election. The petitioners must then file allegations establishing legal grounds for removal and prove those grounds before a circuit court judge.

In other words, gathering the signatures does not automatically trigger a traditional recall election, but it could force Descano to answer for his record in court.

Descano, whose campaigns received substantial backing from George Soros’ Justice and Public Safety PAC, has defended his policies as fair and lawful.

His office told Fox News that it is currently prosecuting Jalloh for Stephanie’s murder. Jalloh was recently indicted, and his trial is reportedly scheduled for January 2027.

The Gateway Pundit reported in May that Descano was called to testify before a House Judiciary subcommittee examining the consequences of Fairfax County’s sanctuary policies.

Descano insisted that his office does not provide “sanctuary or safe harbor” to illegal immigrants and claimed it routinely prosecutes immigrants who commit crimes.

The Trump Justice Department also opened a civil-rights investigation into Descano’s plea-bargaining, charging, and sentencing policies. Investigators are examining allegations that his office offered preferential treatment to illegal-alien defendants. The department emphasized that it had not yet reached any conclusions.

For Cheryl Minter, however, this is not an abstract policy dispute.

It is about a daughter she will never see again, and a criminal-justice system that had dozens of opportunities to prevent the nightmare her family is now living.

“Stephanie was my world. She was my only daughter,” Cheryl said.

Now this grieving mother is fighting to ensure another Fairfax County family does not pay the same unbearable price.

The public petition supporting the effort to recall Descano can be found here.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Department of Health and Human Services has released an explosive government-commissioned study examining the relationship between radical transgender ideology, left-wing authoritarianism, and the justification of political violence.

The HHS study, titled Where the Clinic Meets the Movement: Does Gender Ideology Arm Left-Wing Authoritarian Psychology?, surveyed 1,208 American adults.

Researchers from Rutgers University, the Manhattan Institute, and the Network Contagion Research Institute found that people who more strongly endorsed so-called “gender-affirming” positions were also more likely to display left-wing authoritarian attitudes and consider political violence justified.

The report marks a dramatic departure from the politically protected “science” Americans were fed under the Biden regime, when federal health agencies treated radical gender ideology as unquestionable dogma and smeared dissenters as hateful extremists.

Kennedy’s HHS allowed the evidence to be released, and the findings are devastating.

According to the official HHS announcement, the researchers developed a five-question Clinical Gender Affirmation Scale, or CGAS, using positions drawn from guidance published by the American Psychological Association, American Psychiatric Association, World Professional Association for Transgender Health, and American Academy of Pediatrics.

The questions measured agreement with claims that:

  • Failing to affirm a person’s claimed gender identity causes psychological harm.
  • People should be supported in expressing a transgender identity.
  • Using a person’s chosen transgender name is necessary.
  • Using preferred pronouns is necessary.
  • Parents should support their children’s transgender “exploration.”

Researchers compared the results with established measurements of left-wing authoritarianism and respondents’ willingness to justify six examples of political violence:

  • Killing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk
  • Killing President Donald Trump
  • Killing UnitedHealthcare executive Brian Thompson
  • Setting fire to ICE buildings
  • Damaging property belonging to wealthy people
  • Committing violence against police officers

The results were shocking.

Support for the gender-ideology positions was positively associated with justification for violence in all six scenarios.

Those associations remained statistically significant even after researchers controlled for respondents’ left-wing political identity.

The strongest adjusted association involving the gender-affirmation scale concerned justification for killing Charlie Kirk.

The study found correlations ranging from 0.23 to 0.35 between its gender-affirmation scale and support for the six violent scenarios. The relationship involving left-wing authoritarianism was even stronger, ranging from 0.47 to 0.54.

The gender-affirmation scale also reportedly accounted for 31.5% of the variation in left-wing authoritarianism scores.

The researchers concluded that radical gender ideology could function as an “ideological accelerant” by telling authoritarian leftists who their enemies are, portraying political disagreements as existential threats, and providing moral justification for coercion or violence.

“This study raises important questions about what happens when ideology is given the authority of medicine,” Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Brian Christine said in the HHS announcement.

The report does include an important limitation: It measured whether respondents believed violence was justified. It did not determine whether they had committed violence or intended to commit it.

The cross-sectional survey also does not prove that gender ideology causes political violence. The researchers acknowledged that radical gender beliefs could strengthen authoritarian attitudes, left-wing authoritarians could be attracted to gender ideology, or another factor could influence both.

A second preregistered experiment is being designed to investigate whether exposure to gender-ideology messaging can directly cause the attitudes identified in the first survey.

Still, the results expose a glaring double standard in American academic research.

For decades, left-wing academics obsessed over supposed authoritarian tendencies among conservatives while refusing to apply the same scrutiny to their own political movement.

Now, the Kennedy-led HHS is forcing the establishment to confront evidence that authoritarianism and support for violence are hardly confined to the political right.

Progressive Leader Describes How the Left Is Going to Use a Number of “Wargames” Before Midterm Election to Take Over Congress – Plan Involves Marc Elias and Norm Eisen
August 28, 2026

Progressive leader, Ian Bassin, tells how the left is running wargames against Republicans before the election. The enemy of the left is always Republicans and ordinary Americans.

They may be stone-cold crazy and communist sympathizers but they sure are organized.

Far left leader Ian Bassin told viewers this week on “The Court of History” how the Democrats are role-playing wargames before the midterm elections so they can take over Congress.

The wargames involves progressive heroes Marc Elias and Norm Eisen, two of the most ruthless, Trump-hating worms on the planet.

Attorney Jeff Clark tweeted out this video of former Clinton crony Ian Bassin earlier on Thursday.

Ian Bassin is the leader of the wargames. Bassin is also the co-founder and executive director of Protect Democracy, a nonprofit worth millions. Ian says he established in 2017 to safeguard U.S. elections and counter disinformation. In reality the far-left activist group harasses conservative leaders through lawsuits and destroys their careers. The Gateway Pundit was previously sued by this shady group.

Here is what Bassin had to say about wargames.

Ian Bassin: So that’s kind of what these are designed to do. And so everybody got assigned a role, right? Some people played themselves, some people played other actors in the system, the Attorney General, et cetera. And then we walked through a set of scenarios. And look, the scenarios we do—

Sidney Blumenthal: Who are the actors? What are the roles? Tell us what the roles are as you remember them.

Ian Bassin: Yeah. So you have people playing roles as the leadership in the Congress, right? You have people playing roles as the leadership in the administration, right, the Attorney General, Director of National Intelligence, the Secretary of Homeland Security. You have people playing roles of who’s out in the civil society ecosystem, the nonprofit litigators who are going to litigate, the governors and secretaries of state of key states, maybe the people who spread conspiracy theories online, sort of big influencers online. What are they going to do? Foreign actors, right? Someone could play a nefarious foreign actor. What is Russia going to do in the middle of all this? What is Iran going to to do, right? And so you create all of those roles.

Sidney Blumenthal: And the roles are taken by the senators themselves?

Ian Bassin: Yeah, and we had a couple of other people participate who work on election protection or experts on it. Norm Eisen, Marc Elias, Vanita Gupta, Sky Perryman. There were some other people participating. And we give people a little bit of of, you know, how to get into character, right? I would encourage people, you know, this is your chance to do method acting. So, you know, if you’re gonna be playing a conspiracy-minded online influencer, Get into the mindset of that person. If you’re going to be playing the acting director of national intelligence, get into the mindset of that person. We had people playing the FCC or ABC News just to see how everything interacted.

And, of course, the mainstream media will run with their BS for the next 10 weeks before the midterm elections.

This clip was via the JournolLawfareTM Show named, “The Court of History.”

Far-left anti-Trump influencer Brian Krassenstein may have turned another social-media stunt into a potential legal nightmare after appearing to claim that he donated money to a newly designated terrorist organization.

Assistant Secretary of State for Global Public Affairs Dylan Johnson issued a blistering warning after Krassenstein allegedly posted, and then deleted, the message, “Donated thanks.”

“Donating money to a specially designated global terrorist is a federal crime,” Johnson wrote on X.

“You can be prosecuted and sentenced to 20 years in federal prison and fined up to $1 million. So, maybe talk to a lawyer before listening to this moron.”

Johnson later posted a screenshot of Krassenstein’s alleged deleted message and demanded answers.

“Why did @krassenstein tweet (and then delete) that he donated to a designated terrorist organization?” Johnson asked.

After posting, “Donated, thanks,” the far-left troll quickly backtracked and urged his supporters to hold off on making donations.

“Update: please hold off on the donations as the Authoritarian regime will use it to have you arrested. Hold your money until the designation is officially removed (which it almost certainly will be) and then donate double,” he wrote.

Krassenstein’s post came after the Trump administration designated the Italy-based Autistici/Inventati, or A/I Collective, as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the State Department accused the far-left collective of operating sophisticated digital infrastructure for violent Antifa cells and other extremist organizations.

Secretary Marco Rubio announced on X:

“Far-left terrorism poses a profound threat to the United States and the broader West. Today, the United States sanctioned several transnational far-left terrorist networks, including Autistici/Inventati – a major far-left tech collective whose services are used by the most active and violent Antifa cells in the United States and across the world.

There will be no refuge for violent extremists who wage war on our civilization and plot to undermine law and order, destroy critical infrastructure, assault political opponents, or conspire to conceal their crimes from authorities. We will use all the tools and authorities at our disposal to fight terrorism and protect our way of life from terrorist coercion.”

According to the Trump administration, A/I provides encrypted email, secure chats, web hosting, video-conferencing systems, anonymity tools, and other digital services to violent left-wing networks operating in the United States and Europe.

The Treasury Department said the collective exclusively provides services to ideologically aligned groups, including the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, a designated terrorist organization responsible for thousands of deaths.

Treasury designated A/I under Executive Order 13224 for allegedly providing material and technological support connected to terrorism.

The designation blocks the group’s property and financial interests under American jurisdiction and generally prohibits US persons from conducting transactions with it.

Under 50 U.S.C. § 1705, a willful violation of applicable sanctions can carry a fine of up to $1 million and a prison sentence of up to 20 years.

Krassenstein subsequently denied that he had actually completed a donation. He claimed he was not “falling into” Johnson’s “trap,” but vowed to raise money for A/I if the terrorist designation is removed.

Read his full statement below:

Krassenstein: This is what they stand for.

What do you stand for?

Do they sound like terrorists to you or perhaps the people banning them and intimidating those who support them are the terrorists.:

“A/I was born over 20 years ago to provide internet support (through website hosting, e-mail accounts, mailing lists, chat, blogs, and much more) to activists and collectives coming from the world of grassroot and social movements. Our principles are fairly straightforward: the world should not be run on money, should be rooted in solidarity, community, mutual help, equal rights and freedom, and social justice. Easy, isn’t it? We support individuals, collectives, communities and groups whose political and social activities fit within this worldview and who share with us some fundamental principles: anti-fascism, anti-racism, anti-sexism, anti-militarism.

On top of that, one has to share our basic attitude towards money and the capitalistic world: a deep feeling of uneasyness and unrest. Our resources live thanks to the donations of the community who uses them. The work the collective does to keep it all running is strictly voluntary. We don’t host commercial projects, that we are sure will find more suitable servers than ours. We don’t host institutions and political parties that should be able to run their own servers with the money they have instead of preying a self-managed and voluntary-run network like ours.”

An No I didn’t donate to them. I’m not falling into your trap now that it’s official, but as soon as the designation is removed (which it will be) I will raise as much money as I possible can for them. That’s a promise.

This is the same Brian Krassenstein who previously declared “I am ANTIFA” after President Trump moved against far-left domestic terrorism.

The same Krassenstein brothers who spent years as professional #Resistance reply guys, got banned from Twitter for operating fake accounts, and had hundreds of thousands of dollars seized by federal investigators years ago in a civil forfeiture case tied to online investment schemes.

No criminal charges were filed, but the pattern is familiar: loud, reckless, and always certain the rules don’t apply to them.
