Rahm Emanuel knows his way around Democrat politics. He was chief of staff in the Obama White House and served as mayor of Chicago. During a recent appearance on CNN, he spoke about the DSA victories in New York City this week and he made a very good point.

These wins didn’t really help the Democrats to grow. They only took blue seats and made them darker blue.

There are plenty of reasons for conservatives to dislike Rahm Emanuel, but he is exactly right about this.

The way you create a majority, either in the legislative body or win the presidency, is moving red areas to blue, not blue areas to cobalt blue or to midnight blue. And that’s all that happens.

Take a look in Omaha. We’ve lost three times with the most progressive candidate. We finally got a person like Denise Powell, and we’re in a position to finally flip a seat. That’s how you build a majority.

And if you also look presidentially, seven states, 500,000 voters across those states, Caitlin, have decided the last three presidents. None of those states — Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, the industrial Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania — they’re not electing socialists.

Rahm is going to run for president in 2028. This has been obvious for months.

What Emanuel is going to find is that his party has changed drastically since the Obama years.

Democrat primary voters are not too keen on Israel or the Jewish people who support it.

A house in Washington state exploded this week when it caught on fire because there were hundreds of pounds of fireworks inside at the time. It was complete destruction, as you’ll see below.

Unfortunately, some firefighters were injured in the massive blast.

Investigators suspect the fire was started by a careless smoker.

Hundreds of pounds of fireworks explode, destroying homes and injuring firefighters

A massive explosion of hundreds of pounds of fireworks this week rocked an island community in Western Washington, destroying several homes and injuring five people, including three firefighters, according to officials.

The fire was likely caused by someone smoking too close to where stored fireworks were kept at a home in the Lagoon Point neighborhood, Central Whidbey Island Fire & Rescue Chief Jerry Helm told FOX 13.

“They’re kind of like a little ticking time bomb, and you’re not sure when they’re going to go off,” Helm said of fireworks.

Three firefighters were injured in the explosion after they responded to a call of a house fire in the neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, the Island County Sheriff’s Office said in a Thursday release.

Two of the firefighters are now recovering at home and the third is expected to leave the hospital soon.

Two civilians took themselves to the hospital before first responders could evaluate them, the release said.

The sheriff’s office said it will determine after the investigation if any criminal charges are warranted.

During a recent podcast appearance with a host from MSNOW, California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized conservative media outlets. Newsom suggests that the right has an entire system of media that creates narratives and carries talking points for Republicans. He then claims that liberals have nothing like that.

This is laugh-out-loud ridiculous.

Liberals have the entire media, with the possible exception of FOX News, which Newsom uses repeatedly to make his asinine point.

Outlets like CNN, MSNOW, the traditional networks, and all of the major newspapers frame the news in ways that try to give the Democrats an advantage every single day.

Newsom is saying, with a straight face, that Democrats don’t hav the same friendly media ecosystem that Republicans do.

No, seriously.

“I mean Trump is triumphed 24/7 on these grievance networks and they come in … look, you’ve got The Daily Wire, goes to the California Post, the California Post goes to the New York Post, New York Post goes to The Five. The Five goes to the lineup of the primetime news hosts … goes right to the f***ing Oval Office,” Newsom said. “Then we’ve got Fox & Friends … then you’ve got Chris Rufo, one of the greats … it’s this circular ecosystem, this sewer that has a presidential seal and gold leaf now.”

“With respect, I don’t see that on MSNBC,” Newsom added. “I sure as hell don’t see it on CNN. I don’t see it anywhere.”

President Trump savaged John Bolton after the former National Security Advisor pleaded guilty on Friday to a felony count of unlawfully retaining national defense information.

The plea was made in federal court in Greenbelt, Maryland, before U.S. District Judge Theodore D. Chuang.

The judge set the sentencing hearing for October 28.

Bolton, 77, had faced an 18-count indictment that had accused him of both transmitting and retaining highly sensitive, classified materials during and after his time in the Trump administration.

Bolton served as national security advisor from April 2018 until September 2019.

John Bolton is facing up to 10 years in prison and agreed to pay a $2.25 million fine.

President Trump trashed Bolton in a late night Truth Social post.

“John Bolton, a very dumb, unbalanced, and unskilled former representative of the United States of America, just pleads guilty! He is a terrible person, a lunatic who only wanted to start trouble and wars, and who was a needless pusher of death and destruction wherever he went. Hopefully, he will be dealt with harshly! President DJT” President Trump said in a Truth Social post.

The FBI raided John Bolton’s home last summer.

FBI agents were sent to Bolton’s home because he sent “highly sensitive” classified materials to family members from a private, unsecured email server while he was working at the White House during the first Trump Administration.

“Investigators reopened a dormant probe into Bolton’s alleged use of a private email to send classified national security documents to his wife and daughter from his work desk before his dismissal by Trump in September 2019, according to a senior US official,” The New York Post previously reported.

The investigation into John Bolton began in 2020 when he used classified information to write his book titled, “The Room Where It Happened.”

The Biden Administration halted the investigation into Bolton, but FBI Director Kash Patel revived it and ordered the raid on the former NatSec Advisor’s home.

The New York Times previously reported that the US Government actually discovered John Bolton’s classified emails while gathering information from an “adversarial country’s spy service.”

Documents previously released revealed that John Bolton stored classified information about WMDs and the United Nations.

“Categories of potentially classified records that the FBI reported finding at Bolton’s office included: travel memo documents with a “secret” label; confidential documents from the U.S. mission to the U.N.; confidential documents related to strategic communications; and classified documents related to weapons of mass destruction,” Politico reported.

A semi-truck driver fled the scene of a horrific accident after the tractor trailer he was operating collided with a freight train in southwest Atlanta this week.

A huge fireball erupted as the freight train and semi-truck collided.

Hundreds of Amazon packages were scattered all over the train tracks.

The unidentified driver escaped on foot. Witnesses saw him limping away after the accident.

According to Channel 2 Action News, the Illinois-based trucking company whose semi-truck was involved in the fiery crash is linked to 12 other crashes.

Investigators finally located the driver a day after the crash. He reportedly fled to a family member’s home.

The driver has not been charged with any crimes yet.

A Channel 2 Action News investigation has uncovered that the Illinois-based trucking company whose tractor-trailer was struck by a freight train in southwest Atlanta early Friday has been linked to a dozen reported crashes over the past two years, according to federal safety records.

Investigators said a southbound CSX freight train struck the tractor-trailer, dragging it hundreds of feet before coming to a stop. The collision left the truck destroyed and scattered hundreds of packages across the tracks.

The truck driver initially could not be located, prompting questions from investigators and neighbors.

“I don’t see how he would get out of there. I just don’t see it,” nearby resident Henry Burton told Channel 2 Action News.

Channel 2’s Michael Seiden later spoke by phone with a man who identified himself as the owner of MGM Worldwide Logistics. He said the driver was in shock after the crash, walked to a relative’s home and later turned himself in to investigators.

New York Republican squish Congressman Mike Lawler showed his true colors on Friday, pledging allegiance to foreign nationals in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling on Temporary Protected Status for Haitian aliens. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, SCOTUS on Thursday allowed the Trump Administration to strip Temporary Protected Status (TPS) from 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians.

The TPS designation was set to expire in February, but US District Judge Ana Reyes, a wicked Biden appointee, blocked the Department of Homeland Security from ending it at the eleventh hour.

Pro-amnesty for third-worlders Rep. Mike Lawler responded to the SCOTUS ruling, saying he "strongly disagrees" with the Trump Administration and claiming that it will create a "crisis" in hospitals, nursing homes, and care for intellectual and developmental disabilities.

He further called for Trump to give work authorization to Haitians, allowing them to occupy American jobs, "while their immigration cases are adjudicated over the next six months," Lawler says. This is basically a continuation of the Biden-era policy of allowing Haitians to obtain work permits and remain in the country indefinitely.

Under Lawler's bipartisan House Resolution 1689, cosponsored by Democrat Rep. Laura Gillen (NY), Temporary Protected Status for Haitians would be extended until 2027. The bill passed the House in April with 10 RINOs voting in favor.

It should also be recalled that Lawler cosponsored RINO Maria Salazar's "Dignidad Act" last year to give amnesty via work visas and a permanent path to citizenship to "over 10 million people, or more," who are here illegally. Mike Lawler wants to import the third world and destroy your culture.

In a press release, decrying the end of TPS for Haitians, Lawler also touts himself as "one of the most bipartisan members of Congress."

While I have never disputed the ability of the President to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS), I strongly disagree with ending Haitian TPS at this time.

First, the situation on the ground in Haiti is a humanitarian and political disaster and continues to warrant an extension. The State Department has a level 4 travel advisory telling all Americans to evacuate and not travel there precisely because the gangs are in charge of the country, engaged in gun and drug trafficking, and kidnapping innocent Haitians. We want to root it out and allow for a stable government to be establish with a free a fair election, creating the conditions for a safe return for Haitians.

Second, of the 350,000+ lawful Haitian TPS holders, roughly 1/3rd work in our healthcare system. Immediately shutting off TPS will create a crisis in our hospitals, nursing homes, and in the I/DD community.

I’m asking the administration to allow for an orderly process by which Haitian TPS holders can maintain their work authorization while their immigration cases are adjudicated over the next six months, if the revocation of TPS moves forward.

Furthermore, I believe the Senate should take up my legislation with Congresswoman Gillen to temporarily extend Haitian TPS to address these issues.

Matt Van Swol shredded Lawler for effectively admitting and defending the fact that "America has allowed entire industries to build staffing models around people who were never guaranteed permanent legal status in the first place." He further noted that Lawler's argument that the "humanitarian and political disaster" warrants extension just proves that he wants permanent residency for the Haitian aliens.
