Cause of Death for “Remember The Titans” Actress Hayden Panettiere Reportedly Revealed

The cause of actress Hayden Panettiere’s death has reportedly emerged, and it appears to have sad parallels to other celebrities who passed away far too young.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ on Monday that Panettiere took one fatal pill the day she died. According to these sources, the pill was oxycodone laced with fentanyl.

As The Daily Mail notes, just a few grains of fentanyl, which is 50 times more powerful than heroin, can cause a fatal overdose.

Moreover, these same sources told TMZ that Panettiere had a long-time drug dealer in LA who was giving her several black-market prescription drugs, including the aforementioned oxycodone.

We’re told Hayden took several drugs she purchased from her dealer on the flight from L.A. to South Carolina the day before she died. Authorities believe she took an oxy the morning of her death, and they think that pill was laced with fentanyl.

We’re told the DEA in Los Angeles is actively piecing together the relationship between Hayden and her drug dealer, attempting to trace the fatal pill back to him.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Panettiere passed away last month at just 36 years old.

Panettiere was well-known not just for her roles in “Nashville” and “Heroes,” but also for starring in the beloved 2000 film “Remember the Titans” at just 10 years of age.

In addition, an unidentified friend of Panettiere called 911 at 1:51 p.m. the day of her death from a Greenville, SC, apartment to report an “unresponsive female” in “cardiac arrest.”

Panettiere and her boyfriend Brian Hickerson had flown from Los Angeles to South Carolina. It’s unclear whether he was the one who placed the call.

A paramedic could also be heard saying that Panettiere had suffered an overdose, and a CPR was in progress.

Panettiere previously revealed she struggled with alcoholism and postpartum depression. Her younger brother, Jensen, died in 2023 at the age of 28 from an undiagnosed heart condition.

The late actress left behind a young daughter with her ex-fiancé, legendary heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
