McConnell Found Unconscious in His DC Home Last Month Before Being Rushed to Hospital… Heart Attack? (911 Audio)

Senator Mitch McConnell was reportedly found unconscious in his DC home last month before he was rushed to the hospital, PunchBowl News reported.

The 84-year-old Kentucky Senator was rushed to the hospital a couple of weeks ago and was “receiving excellent care” his spokesman said.

It is still unclear why McConnell was admitted to the hospital.

However, he may have had a heart attack, according to the newly released audio of a 911 call.

Last week McConnell’s office said the Kentucky Senator will not be voting.

McConnell hasn’t voted in two weeks.

“Senator McConnell is still working closely with staff on Senate business and Kentucky matters as he continues his recovery. However, he will not be voting this week,” McConnell’s office said.

This is the second time McConnell has been hospitalized in the last couple months.

Earlier this year McConnell was hospitalized with flu-like symptoms.

“In an abundance of caution, after experiencing flu-like symptoms over the weekend, Senator McConnell checked himself into a local hospital for evaluation last night,” a spokesperson for McConnell said in February.

His prognosis is positive and he is grateful for the excellent care he is receiving. He is in regular contact with his staff and looks forward to returning to Senate business,” the spokesperson added.

McConnell is suffering from a myriad of health problems.

Last October, McConnell took a nasty fall in the Russell basement.

McConnell has also suffered from freezing episodes.
