Netflix ‘Neck Injury’ Post Ignites Backlash on Anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s Murder – Subscribers Cancelling

Netflix is facing calls for subscribers to cancel their memberships after one of its official accounts published a post about a “neck injury” on the first anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
The Netflix UK and Ireland account shared an image Thursday from the television series The Gentlemen, showing a male character played by Theo James turning his head to look at a woman.

The timing and wording immediately attracted backlash given that Netflix is overwhelmingly run by Democrats and that today is the anniversary of Kirk’s assassination while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Kirk was shot in the neck in front of thousands of people attending the event, with footage of the assassination sending shockwaves around the world.
Against that backdrop, Netflix publishing a joke about a man suffering a “neck injury” on the exact anniversary of Kirk’s death is suspicious to say the least.
The post quickly generated a furious response online, with many users canceling their subscriptions.
“I’m apparently naive because at first I wanted to believe this was not a Charlie Kirk joke,” wrote Daily Wire host Matt Walsh.
”But these “neck injury” references are a meme among retarded demonic leftists.”

Numerous users subsequently posted screenshots indicating they had done exactly that.
