Loathsome Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer received the proverbial ‘kiss of death’ regarding her future political prospects from President Trump today, shortly before his rally in Warren, Michigan, to mark his 100 days in office.

As TGP readers know, Whitmer had been in the news for meeting with President Trump at the White House, infuriating her fellow Democrats. She was so embarrassed about being seen at the Trump White House that she covered her face and hid behind folders to avoid being photographed while she was there.

However, she showed no shame when President Trump touched down in Michigan. Whitmer made sure to greet him as he exited Air Force One.

As one will see, the two warmly embrace and share a few words.

Trump then gave Whitmer the kiss of death regarding her future political prospects a short time later during a speech before the Michigan National Guard Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township. As News Channel 3 reported, Trump was there to announce the addition of 21 new F-15EXs fighter jets in part of the new F15-EX fighter mission.

Whitmer had been working with the Administration and other Republicans on this project and was with Trump as he spoke. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was also in attendance.

“I want to thank Gretchen Whitmer,” he said. “You know, I’m not supposed to do that. She’s a Democrat. They say, Don’t do that, don’t have her here. I said, ‘No, she’s going to be here.’”

“She’s done a very good job,” he added. “She was very much involved working with the Republicans on saving it.”

News Channel 3 noted Trump also announced he wants a one trillion dollar national defense budget and a new Selfridge defense shield named “Golden Dome” to safeguard Michigan from a missile strike.

Whitmer was not thrilled after getting played by Trump, especially when he invited her to give an unplanned speech.

Did warmonger John Bolton issue Pete Hegseth a thinly veiled threat?

Former NatSec Advisor to Trump John Bolton appeared on CNN on Tuesday to discuss media attacks and leaks against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

A series of leaks have battered Pete Hegseth for his use of the double-encrypted Signal app.

Use of the Signal app was approved during the Biden Regime, but it has only become a scandal under Trump 2.0.

Bolton ripped into Pete Hegseth and said he should resign for his “own safety’s sake.”

“Do you believe Hegseth should still be on the job?” CNN’s Pamela Brown asked John Bolton.

“No. I think he should resign for for his own safety’s sake if nothing else. This is a critical time for the American military. We understand the Trump administration will rightly propose enormous budget increases for defense. We need it. We need a secretary who can get the job done, not somebody who spends his time on Signal chat groups,” Bolton said.

Was this a threat? Or does John Bolton know something more?

Pamela Brown teed up Bolton with another softball from fake news reports: “And just as someone who is a national security expert, the fact that it was happening on his personal cell phone, how much does that concern you knowing that foreign adversaries often target top level national security officials to get into their phones and put in spyware?”

Bolton replied, “Yeah, the – I almost never used my personal phone when I was a national security adviser. I mean, the breaches of security at risk in this conduct are enormous and I think that’s one reason why he shouldn’t be in the job.”

Senator Chuck Grassley on Monday asked FBI Director Kash Patel to declassify the FBI’s analysis of Nellie Ohr’s criminal referral after she lied to Congress.

Recall that Nellie Ohr played a key role in the genesis of the FBI’s 2016 “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into President Trump.

Nellie Ohr, wife of fired DOJ official Bruce Ohr was criminally referred to the Justice Department in 2019 by House Republicans after hundreds of new emails surfaced, contradicting her previous statements to Congress.

A series of “Hi Honey” emails from Nellie Ohr to her top DOJ husband Bruce Ohr surfaced and suggested Hillary-funded oppo research was being funneled into the DOJ during the 2016 election through a backchannel between the happily married Ohr couple.

Nellie Ohr previously told Congress that during the 2016 election, she worked for Fusion GPS to help them connect Trump and Manafort to Russian organized crime.

However, Nellie Ohr emails discovered through a Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit showed evidence to the contrary.

Grassley asked Kash Patel to “declassify the FBI’s analysis of a congressional criminal referral issued for Nellie Ohr following her false statements to Congress in 2018.”

Attached to this cover letter is a document that is mostly unclassified. The document is an FBI analysis of a congressional criminal referral regarding Nellie Ohr’s false statements to Congress, which obstructed congressional investigations.

As you are aware, Nellie Ohr played a key role in the genesis of Crossfire Hurricane while working for Fusion GPS and coordinating with her husband, Bruce Ohr, who was a Justice Department official at that time. The document provides background with respect to Crossfire Hurricane’s origins as well as the criminal case against Nellie Ohr.

I request that a full declassification be done immediately for the following reasons: (1) the document is largely unclassified and the portions that are classified are at a very low level of classification; (2) the information that is classified is similar to the information subject to declassification Executive Orders for Crossfire Hurricane records issued by President Trump in 2020 and 2025 and, at this point, may already be declassified; (3) other Crossfire Hurricane document declassifications separate from those Executive Orders occurred in the first Trump term; (4) the overriding public interest.

Declassification of the document in full would be consistent with past practices and to the benefit of public transparency and accountability. There is no legitimate basis to keep the document from the public.

The Trump Administration announced news today that will no doubt displease Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after he campaigned against President Trump last year and refuses to help bring the Russia-Ukraine War to an end.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Zelenskyy joined Kamala Harris surrogate Democrat Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro for a tour of an ammunition factory in the Keystone State last September and took the opportunity to stump for the Harris campaign and attack Trump and JD Vance on American soil in an interview with a far-left media outlet.

“My feeling is that Trump doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how,” Zelenskyy said.

“With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it, the less you understand. I’ve seen many leaders who were convinced they knew how to end it tomorrow, and as they waded deeper into it, they realized it’s not that simple.”

Zelenskyy also belittled Vance, calling him “way too radical.”

“I don’t take Vance’s words seriously, because if this were a plan, then America is headed for global conflict. It will involve Israel, Lebanon, Iran, Taiwan, China, as well as many African countries,” Zelenskyy whined.

We have now learned that some of his constituents possibly took inspiration from Zelenskyy’s actions. DHS Secretary Pam Bondi announced today that ICE has arrested two Ukrainian nationals for illegally voting in the 2024 election.

She further revealed that DOGE assisted ICE in the process.

“In partnership with DOGE, ICE has arrested two Ukrainian nationals for illegally VOTING in the 2024 election,” Noem wrote.

“Under President Donald Trump, if you come to our country and break our laws, you will face the consequences,” she added.

A far-left media hack got burned today after trying to get a loyal Trump voter to criticize the president on tariffs and the cost of groceries.

AS TGP readers may know, President Trump will arrive in Warren, Michigan later today to hold a rally marking the first 100 days of his second term. This comes as the corporate media and Democrats have lambasted him for a variety of issues, including unleashing tariffs to help fix unfair trade deals and bring jobs back to the United States.

Americans have, unfortunately, bought into the media onslaught and are blaming Trump for rising costs. Trump’s approval ratings are now suffering as a result, and his enemies smell blood in the water.

An MSNBC reporter decided to trick an older female Trump supporter, who was waiting in line to see the president in Warren, into giving a soundbite bashing the president on the economy.

“Are you prepared to pay higher prices for goods?” the reporter asked.

But this question quickly blew up in his face as the wise lady politely pointed out an inconvenient fact: prices started skyrocketing in 2021 once Biden seized power.

“I’ve been paying higher prices, sweetie,” she replied. “Since the point Biden got into office, my groceries have doubled. My gas has doubled.”

“I’m used to it,” she added.

After getting embarrassed, the media hack then tried another tactic to get the lady to turn against Trump.

“Are you prepared for more?” he queried.

Knowing that the tariffs are part of Trump’s long-term plan to level the playing field in trade, she said she’s willing to put up with a little more short-term pain because a greater reward awaits.

“Yes, because it has to happen before prices go back down,” she explained.
