Barack Obama was spotted out at a trendy Los Angeles restaurant with his two daughters on Saturday evening.

However, Michelle Obama was nowhere in sight.

Obama took daughters Sasha and Malia to ritzy Japanese restaurant Hamasaku in Santa Monica.

The Obamas have dined at this upscale restaurant in the past.

The New York Post reported:

Former President Barack Obama was spotted going out to dinner with his daughters in Los Angeles on Saturday night — but former first lady Michele Obama was nowhere to be found as rumors of marriage problems continue to swirl.

Obama, 63, with daughters Sasha, 23, and Malia, 26, broke bread at upscale Japanese restaurant Hamasaku on Santa Monica Boulevard, which has been a favorite of the family since at least 2022, according to images of the dinner.

Despite the conspicuous absence of Michelle, eagle-eyed relationship monitors noticed that the former president was wearing his wedding ring.

Barack and Michelle Obama were seen at a restaurant together in San Francisco earlier this week but they just cannot put the divorce rumors to rest.

Earlier this month Michelle Obama broke her silence on the ongoing rumors about her rocky marriage.

Rumors the Obamas were headed for a divorce began in December after Michelle Obama skipped Jimmy Carter’s funeral and announced she wouldn’t be attending Trump’s inauguration.

It was also recently reported that Barack and Michelle Obama’s largest donors have dropped them amid rumors about their marriage.

Michelle Obama broke her silence on the divorce rumors during an appearance on Sophia Bush’s “Work in Progress” podcast.

The former First Lady gaslighted the public and blamed society for its unfair standards on women. She also didn’t exactly deny the her marriage is in trouble. Michelle Obama kept things vague.

“That’s the thing that we as women, I think we struggle with disappointing people. I mean, so much so that this year people were, you know, they couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing,” Michelle Obama said of her decision to skip Jimmy Carter’s funeral.

She added, “This couldn’t be a grown woman just making a set of decisions for herself, right? That’s what society does to us.”

“We start actually, finally going, ‘What am I doing? Who am I doing this for?’ And if it doesn’t fit into the sort of stereotype of what people think we should do, then it gets labeled as something negative and horrible.”

An endangered Great White Heron has fully recovered from an emergency surgery after a fisherman pelted it with a rock at Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, in January.

The rock broke the bird’s wing and reportedly caused the bird to bleed heavily.

The man who threw the rock, Edgar Estuardo Valenzuela, was arrested after he admitted to the act of animal cruelty, which under Florida law typically carries a punishment of prison time or a hefty fine.

However, when he was discovered to be an illegal alien from Guatemala, police were able to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, by stopping the perpetrator and promptly deporting him.

This is indeed a happy ending.

Liberals should have no problem with the deportation of a man who attacked an endangered species, right?

In late January, the staff at Pelican Harbor Seabird Station were alerted to a disturbing incident: a woman had witnessed a fisherman throw a large rock at a Great White Heron that had attempted to steal his fish. The large white bird was later found hiding in the grass near the water, its right wing drooping and bleeding heavily.

The Great White Heron lives primarily in mangroves, tidal shallows, and coastal ponds in peninsular Florida. The majestic bird is known for having the “largest, heaviest bills,” typically a distinct yellow-orange color, according to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Under Florida law, any person who intentionally commits an act against an animal that “results in the cruel death, or excessive or repeated infliction of unnecessary pain or suffering” commits aggravated animal cruelty — a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.

On February 7, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) arrested 34-year-old Edgar Estuardo Valenzuela for injuring the bird. He was charged with offenses involving harm to federally protected wildlife after admitting to hurling rocks at the heron, according to FWC officials.

The bird made a return to his home in Key Biscayne, where he flew freely for the first time in months.
