Investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger joined Fox News’ Jesse Watters to discuss the bombshell information released by ODNI Tulsi Gabbard, exposing how the Obama regime used intelligence agencies as a ‘public relations arm.’

The newly released declassified presidential briefing reveals that Obama knew the Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a hoax and he was involved in manufacturing and politicizing the intelligence to create the Trump-Russia collusion canard.

It was recently reported that former FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and DNI James Clapper worked together to purposely corrupt the Trump-Russia investigation in 2016 before Trump entered office.

The Obama Administration knew that Russia did not interfere with the 2016 election, but they pushed the hoax through their friends in the fake news media.

Shellenberger told Watters that intelligence agencies were used as a “public relations arm.”

“This is another instance where you see the Democrats having projected what they were doing onto Donald Trump,” Shellenberger noted.

“The Obama administration was undermining public confidence in the elections, deliberately undermining confidence in the elections, and then accusing the Trump campaign of doing the very same thing.”

“They knew that they didn’t have the actual intel or any evidence to actually bring any charges against Trump because, of course, he didn’t do any of the things they were accusing him of, but they were constantly leaking to the news media one of the things that we saw revealed today in these new documents, is that they were using the intelligence community, essentially as a public relations arm.”

Watch:

In February, The Gateway Pundit reported that Shellenberger exposed other actions by the intelligence community, including covert operations by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that influenced the impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump in 2019.

According to Shellenberger, a nexus between USAID-funded research and a whistleblower from the CIA sparked the impeachment.

Red, White, and Bitcoin

Red, White, and Bitcoin

Red, White, and Bitcoin

Bitcoin may feel futuristic, but when you peel away its digital veneer, it is just the latest chapter in a 2,600-year story of value, trust, and human ingenuity. Having reached record highs, Bitcoin has been making headlines as nations declare strategic stockpiles and corporate America embraces the new asset class. Why now?

The answer lies in a pattern as old as civilization itself: When governments corrupt a currency, people innovate their way to something better.

As the saying goes, “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.” When the first coin clanked into existence in 600 B.C., it was not merely a gold and silver alloy stamped with the face of the Lydian king. It was a financial revolution. For the first time, people could move past the inefficiencies of barter and instead use a medium of exchange to trade. But this value was not in the sparkle; it was the individuals’ collective understanding that these coins have worth.

The integrity of that system has waxed and waned over the ensuing millennia, typically driven by governmental spending policies. The silver-backed Roman denarii enabled the empire to flourish, but as subsequent emperors diluted its value – reducing their silver content to fund wars and build grand palaces – citizens lost faith in their currency. When Emperor Nero reduced silver content from 98% to 83% in A.D. 64, Romans began hoarding old coins and rejecting new ones. By A.D. 260, the denarius contained just 5% silver. Inflation spiraled and commerce crumbled, contributing to the eventual fall of the empire.

The United States has battled currency crises since our nation’s birth, but unlike Rome, America has consistently innovated solutions along the way. After we declared independence from Britain, the Continental Congress printed the nation’s first paper money. Called “Continentals,” it was backed by neither gold nor silver – simply by belief in its value. While gold and silver are at least relatively scarce metals that constrain supply, paper can be printed. And that is precisely what the first U.S. government did.

Desperate to pay troops and buy supplies necessary to wage the Revolutionary War, Congress turned to making more Continentals. Bills flooded the market, driving down value as Americans questioned whether the new nation could honor its promises. In 1777, one patriot complained to his father as inflation spiked by an estimated 200%, writing, “America has much more to fear from the effects of large quantities of paper money than from the operations of British Generals.”

Prices climbed so rapidly that George Washington himself came to refuse Continentals as payment. In fact, it became common to describe something of little value as “not worth a Continental.” The currency became such a laughingstock that sailors paid in the bills would sew them onto their clothes and parade through town to mock it. But rather than crumble like the Roman Empire, the U.S. innovated: This currency crisis was a driving force that led our Founding Fathers to scrap the American government under the Articles of Confederation and draft our current Constitution.

This change represented more than political reform – it was monetary advancement, shifting from discretionary to rule-based money. The new U.S. government adopted a bimetallic standard in 1792, which tied the value of dollars to both gold and silver. The country eventually simplified its approach by shifting to a de facto gold standard in 1834, which lasted until 1971 when President Nixon abandoned it in favor of fiat currency. Like the Continentals before it, the dollar has since been backed by belief in its value: full faith and credit of the U.S. government.

And then came the 2008 financial crisis. Lehman Brothers fell, banks wobbled, and the public? They started asking: “What is money?” It was then, from the digital shadows, that an anonymous figure – Satoshi Nakamoto – dropped a whitepaper like a patriot dropping a leaflet on the eve of the Revolutionary War: Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. No emperors. No banks. Just math, cryptography, and an unbreakable record called the blockchain. A new kind of trust was born – not in a ruler, but in code.

What was initially viewed as an interesting hypothetical idea was quickly put to real-world use. Users beget more users. Trust grows. Entrepreneurs dream. It’s a full-blown historical saga unfolding in real time.

Bitcoin has risen above the other cryptocurrencies it inspired, in large part due to its scarcity: no longer could an Emperor add bits of cheap copper to silver coins or Congress print more paper because it is hardcoded that only 21 million Bitcoin will ever exist. Further, all Bitcoin transactions are verified by a decentralized network of approximately 20,000 individuals’ computers across the world, all checking one another beyond politicians’ control. In an age of runaway government spending, investors have turned to those scarce Bitcoin that no government can dilute. A decentralized system that guards the people from government domination – how American is that!

It is no coincidence that Bitcoin has skyrocketed to a $2 trillion valuation just as the U.S. national debt has reached record highs. Researchers debate how long fiat currencies last on average throughout history, with some placing time of death at between 27 and 35 years. Since the U.S. has been off the gold standard for over 50 years, history suggests the dollar is poised for decline.

People are simply asking the age-old question: What is money, really? As trust is shaken in paper money due to inflation and ballooning federal spending, many are turning to innovation. Even nations themselves have begun to set up strategic reserves. In fact, the United States is the largest known state holder of Bitcoin – once again positioning America at the forefront of monetary evolution.

As John Adams advised in 1787, “All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise not from the defects of the Constitution, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation.” It is incumbent upon Americans to arm themselves with knowledge and engage in the age-old American tradition of challenging broken systems with better ideas in the pursuit of liberty.

HORROR: Surveillance Video Shows Illegal Alien Kidnapping Elderly Woman Before Locking Her in Closet, Repeatedly Sexually Assaulting Her
July 19, 2025

Surveillance video showed an illegal alien from Honduras kidnapping an elderly woman in Harris County, Texas, before locking her in a closet and repeatedly sexually assaulting her.

Jose Armando Carcamo-Perdomo, 22, an illegal from Honduras, was arrested this week after he grabbed a woman and locked her in a closet in a trailer home on Elderberry Lane off Highway 90 in Houston.

The unidentified victim was a female masseuse who traveled from New York to Houston for work. She was driven across the country to Texas and when she arrived in Houston, her Chinese passport was taken away from her.

Carcamo-Perdomo locked the victim in a boarded up closet where she was left for five days without food or water. According to court documents obtained by Click2Houston, the victim was repeatedly raped.

Authorities received a 911 call about reports of a woman screaming for help. When police arrived to the property on Elderberry Lane, they discovered the woman in the boarded up closet. She was taken to an undisclosed location for treatment and counseling.

Investigators believe Carcamo-Perdomo is part of a larger human trafficking ring.

ICE released a statement on the arrest of Jose Armando Carcamo-Perdomo:

“Jose Armando Carcamo-Perdomo, a 22-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, illegally entered the United States on May 24, 2020, near Hidalgo, Texas. U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered Carcamo-Perdomo Nov. 24, 2020, during a vehicle stop near Falfurrias, Texas, and he was issued a notice to appear. The government exercised prosecutorial discretion under the immigration enforcement priorities at the time, and his immigration case was dismissed by an immigration judge from the Executive Office for Immigration Review Sept. 11, 2023. Deportation officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement encountered Carcamo-Perdomo July 15 at the Harris County Jail following his arrest for aggravated kidnapping, and an immigration detainer was lodged with the jail.”

Click2Houston reported:

A man from Honduras is facing serious charges for allegedly kidnapping a woman and leaving her locked in a room for days, as part of what Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators are calling a larger human smuggling and sex trafficking ring.

According to deputies, Jose Carcamo, of Honduras, was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated kidnapping.

Court records obtained by KPRC 2’s Bryce Newberry claim Carcamo locked a woman inside a room for five days at a home on Elderberry Lane past East Houston off Highway 90.

There, the documents said Carcamo said he left her there for five days without food or water. He also allegedly punched her, tied her up, and sexually assaulted her before placing her in a closet.

Brazil’s socialist regime under Lula Da Silva is stepping up its persecution of former President Jair Bolsonaro.

The Supreme Court on Friday ordered federal police to raid his residence and the headquarters of his political party in Brasilia.

Bolsonaro has been ordered to wear an electronic ankle monitor, a measure he called “a supreme humiliation.”

Under the court’s restrictions, the former Brazilian president is banned from leaving his home at night, engaging with foreign diplomats or ambassadors, and going near any embassy.

He is also forbidden from using social media or communicating with others under investigation, including his son Eduardo Bolsonaro, who is himself a Congressman.

Bolsonaro is currently being tried by the Supreme Court over claims that he led an effort to overturn the 2022 election results, which were tainted by fraud in a similar way to the 2020 presidential elections in America.

The use of an ankle bracelet is widely seen as an effort to prevent Bolsonaro from fleeing the country, amid reports that Trump was considering offering the former president political asylum.

Trump reaffirmed his support for Bolsonaro in a letter he posted on Truth Social on Thursday, having already imposed a 50 percent tariff on Brazilian goods.

He wrote:

I have seen the terrible treatment you are receiving at the hands of an unjust system turned against you. This trial should end immediately! I am not surprised to see you leading in the polls; you were a highly respected and strong leader who served your country well.

I share your commitment to listening to the voice of the people and I am very concerned about the attacks on free speech — both in Brazil and in the United States — coming out of the current government.

I have strongly voiced my disapproval both publicly and through our Tariff policy. It is my sincere hope that the Government of Brazil changes course, stops attacking political opponents, and ends their ridiculous censorship regime. I will be watching closely.

Brazil’s socialist president, Lula Ignacio da Silva, has accused Trump of “unacceptable blackmail.”

“No foreigner is going to give orders to this president,” Lula said in a speech this week.

“We expected a response, and what we received was unacceptable blackmail, in the form of threats to Brazilian institutions and false information about trade between Brazil and the United States.”

Army Sends Letter to Pro-Life Groups Apologizing for Referring to Them as ‘Terrorists’ During Training Under Biden

Army Sends Letter to Pro-Life Groups Apologizing for Referring to Them as ‘Terrorists’ During Training Under Biden

Dan Driscoll is sworn in as Secretary of the Army (VP J.D. Vance / X)

The Gateway Pundit reported that during Joe Biden’s regime, the Defense Department categorized pro-life organizations as “terrorist organizations” during an anti-terrorism briefing held at Fort Bragg’s Directorate of Emergency Services, formerly known as Fort Liberty.

Citizen journalist Sam Shoemate, or @samour, shared the disturbing slide on X.

“An anti-terrorism brief was held on Fort Liberty (Bragg) today where they listed several Pro-Life organizations as “terrorist organizations.” The slide you see here followed right after a slide about ISIS, a terror group in the Middle East,” Shoemate wrote on X.

The presentation slide, which was widely circulated on social media, lists these pro-life organizations that oppose “Roe[sic] v. Wade” under a headline reading “TERRORIST GROUPS.”

The presentation specifically targets groups like National Right to Life and Operation Rescue, which have long been pillars of the pro-life community.

These organizations are dedicated to peaceful advocacy against abortion, grounded in the belief that every life is valuable and worth protecting.

The slide shockingly equates their activities, such as demonstrations, protests, mass demonstrations, Life Chain, The Rescue, The Truth Display, and picketing, along with counseling efforts at sidewalks and crisis centers, with terrorism.

Now that the DOD has rational, non-woke leadership, U.S. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll sent a letter offering a “sincerest apology” for the actions taken under the prior administration on behalf of himself and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Lifesite News reports:

On July 16, U.S. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll sent a letter to the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ), which represents Operation Rescue, on behalf of himself and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, formally offering his “sincerest apology” for the Army’s actions under the previous administration.

The slide’s “mischaracterization was not only inaccurate but also deeply inappropriate,” Driscoll wrote. “Equally concerning was the previous Administration’s inadequate response to this serious incident. Its failure to provide full transparency or take responsibility for such a grievous error is wholly unacceptable.”

“Let me be clear, the Army does not consider Operation Rescue, National Right to Life, and other pro-life groups to be terrorist organizations,” he said. “Further, the Army does not view pro-life beliefs or state-issued pro-life license plates as indicators of terrorism.”

ACLJ executive director Jordan Sekulow acknowledged the apology and stated, “On behalf of our client Troy Newman and Operation Rescue, and all pro-life Americans, thank you, Secretary Driscoll and Secretary Hegseth, for your apology, your acknowledgment, your assurances, and for calling this travesty what it was, a false mischaracterization, inaccurate, serious, grievous, and deeply inappropriate.”

“Also, we thank you for standing up against the Leftist ideology that had been infecting our military branches and bogging down our warfighters, often cloaked in the bureaucratic morass. We know you have a lot of work to do, and that you took time to address this – not just in response to an oversight function of Congress, but directly to our client who was among those harmed – confirms your commitment to the values for which you fight.”
